enjoyable week for emmerdale. the siege was a bit like 'carry on in the dales' but it was fun to watch.

i agree andy had every right to have ago at princess tango. as for cain, wake up and smell the cow dung.

lesley dunlop has been outstanding and for me the stand out performance of the week. quality.

I felt it was a bit much from Andy bleating on about the kids being in the same house as a murderer, when he killed his Mum Sarah?

no she signed the adoption petition prior to the Court granting the adoption order, and that is the end of her involvement or rights - it is a legal document to say she wont change her mind

ITV has released a mock news and weather report about the current goings on in Emmerdale.

Presented by real-life local news anchor Christine Talbot and weatherman Jon Mitchell, the video reports detail Cameron's escape from a prison van and the flood currently taking over Emmerdale village.

The internet-only content is similar to that offered by Coronation Street recently, which saw the soap producing special online scenes for Hayley Cropper, as the much-loved terminally ill character tries to make the most of every moment she has left.

The Emmerdale videos see Talbot - who presents ITV Yorkshire's Calendar programme - present a 42-second news report about a prison van being attacked and ambushed by masked men, which refers to the current storyline involving Cameron Murray (Dominic Power).

"The prison van was attacked yesterday afternoon with no witnesses in sight. The escaped prisoners haven't been found," says Talbot.

"The police have released the name of one prisoner, Cameron Murray, who's admitted to the brutal murders of three people in the village of Emmerdale."

Meanwhile, the weather forecast - presented by Mitchell - reveals that "damp, dreary and dreadful" weather is on the way for flood-stricken Emmerdale, with winds reaching up to 50 miles per hour.

"Dreadfully wet just about sums it up", says Mitchell, who also advises people to wear waterproofs.

Good episode, imo, bit to much of Debbie giving birth last year ,for me. Priya must surely have seen David's reaction to Alicia being shot. Agree about Cain maybe he'll turn up soon?

brilliant twist in tonights episode. gripping and very enjoyable. emmerdale must be the most dangerous village in the uk and the woolpack the unluckiest pub. how many floods/storms have emmerdale had and how many times has the woolie been damaged by disasters. i don't think they can do this story again, well not for another 40yrs anyway. :D

However credit to emmerdale bloody brilliant.

Laurel is really starting to annoy me too, and this whole storyline is soooooo boring. I used to like Laurel when she was with Ashley-nothing to do with her being with Marlon as I like him too, it's just that they wrote better storylines for her then. I think she should go to prison as well, as she's the one who attacked Ross with scissors! I know he attacked her, but I can't really symphatize her as a viewer because what she did afterwards to Ross was far worse than what he did to her. Maybe she should learn a lesson and go down for a while.

The whole programme is driving me nuts! Most women in this situation would be devastated, many would end the relationship, some may find a way to work through things, either could be dramatic and entertaining, but all this purile revenge rubbish is getting a tad overdone, we had it with Katie, Kain is always at it, Laurel and the car chappie, Cameron a zillion times, topping people left right and centre, Charity has done loads of stuff in the two years that I have been watching this all OTT all too far fetched even for a soap, her daughter(sorry cannot remember her name) was acting like a gangster a while ago,to be honest I am getting so bored by it all..... I fast forward most of the programme these days, the vicar thing ( what a load of old codswallop), the Kyle thing could have been great, turned into a farce. The christmas lights debacle. Matey up at the "big house" wandering about with a bottle and a gun all of these could have been excellent story lines, but have been trashed by poor scripts and awful acting, rant over.

Jai wanted to protect her-and it was also Jai's father who was interfiering here.
I find it unacceptable that a woman of Charity's age is behaving so badly-whatever Jai has done, it doesn't give Charity right to go smashing his car, blackmailing anyone to leave or framing someone for fire. Bit over the top for my liking. And this shouting every evening, just when all the drama with Chas and Debbie is over, is little bit too much to handle.It's like watching the same episode of Jeremy Kyle over and over every evening! I just wish Charity would disappear(hopefully disowned by Dingles and sent down for few years) or would just shut up! If not, then I really need a break from Emmerdale.
