A rather mundane episode. At the end of the first half Aaron Livesy was refusing to go for a consultation but at the beginning of the second half he was in the waiting room.??? Cameron has got all these new clients bit he seems keen not to be working?? These young people need to understand that you have to go to the job centre to sign on. Laurel doesn't know what to do apart from keeping it a secret.

Not a bad episode. Debbie certainly takes after her parents inher casual attitude towards crime. Recent viewers may not know that she obtained the garage in the first place by fraud.

They might be a bit thick not to notice she is very pregnant. She wouldn't be thick to be adopted. She would be in line for a share of the Pollard 'empire'

Amy's main problem is that she is not prepared to be open with Val and Eric. It just gets her deeper into trouble because of it. She needs to trust them more.

The writers need to accodate that into the S/Ls, because if Steve H is going to run like my gran, then they cant keep portraying him as the bare knuckle bruiser who can take on anyone. !!

Amy resorts to being dishonest. Instead of stealing money, she could just tell Val the truth.

Earlier this week Cain punch Zak on his left cheek drawing a bit of blood. Zak has now got bruising on the outside of his right eye. How did that happen???????????
The young girl gets rushed to hospital even theough she is not struck by a vehicle and doesn't even fall over. What happened there????????????
This new family are going to be very popular.
Bob has Brenda every which way all morning!!!!!!!

my favourite moment was 'the punch' Cain hardly moved his arm, it was like a girls slap!!
and the bruising is on the wrong side for the way Cain hit him, even if he also hit the wall, it would graze more than bruise the socket

Is it just me or did Declan presume about Mia way before being actually told anything. The police might have called about break ins or anything. Bit like, he'd read the script and forgot that the character isn't supposed to know whats coming up!!!!! Also Cameron is starting to remind me of Phil Mitchell in Eastenders with all the heavy breathing stuff. Love Dominic as an actor but prefer him acting happy than all this angst!!!

Awwwww finalllllyyyyyyy - I think the slow burner worked for me and it makes a change to have one happy storyline amidst all the doom and gloom thats going on. We need this light relief and happy ending - although maybe Nicky doesn't. Shame cos he never really did do any wrong but then again do you go with your heart or your head on these matters. I think Nicky would be boring but Nikhil would be an interesting challenge.

When Debbie said she had disowned him you could see that she (and charity and sarah) are the only things in his life that he truly loves and for them to turn against him hurts him. I know he has been evil but still nice to see how he can still evoke some sympathy. Not easy making a character like that still appear human and vulnerable. Well done Jeff.

I know he has been evil but still nice to see how he can still evoke some sympathy. Not easy making a character like that still appear human and vulnerable. Well done Jeff.
I can't feel sorry for him. He might have a few people he loves but it doesn't give him any excuse to treat the rest of humanity like $hite

Kinda obvious it was him over the way he was acting around Cain lately
Emmerdale's Zak Dingle has been revealed as his son Cain's attacker, bringing the soap's month-long mystery storyline to a climax.
Zak, played by Steve Halliwell, spoke candidly about his brutal act as he had a showdown with Cain in tonight's (Thursday's) double bill of the show.
Realising that he couldn't let Jai Sharma (Chris Bisson) take the blame for his crime, Zak paid a visit to Cain (Jeff Hordley) and urged him to stop lying to the police.
Zak said: "You know damn well that it wasn't Jai. Because you know damn well it were me!"
Explaining his motive, Zak confirmed that he was appalled after seeing Cain destroy so many lives in the village - especially with his mistreatment of troubled teen Amy Wyatt (Chelsea Halfpenny) after getting her pregnant.
Zak raged: "You've always done damage. And I've turned a blind eye, I know I have. But this has been something new. How many lives is it that you want to ruin?

Emmerdale bosses also ended the episode with a cliffhanger as Zak vowed to hand himself into the police if Cain refused to clear Jai's name - leaving viewers to wonder what the village's bad boy will do next.
Zak told his wayward son: "I think you're going to walk into that cop shop and you're going to tell them what's what. Because if you don't, you're going to force me to. And I'll do it son, I will.
"Because I reckon, it'd be easier for me to spend the rest of my life in prison than it would be for you on the outside - with everyone that you care about knowing that you're a coward.
"And they will know - I'll make sure of that. If it's the last thing I do as a free man, I'll make sure everyone knows what you are!"
Emmerdale continues tomorrow at 7pm on ITV1.

drat I was wrong again. However the scenes after Zak admitted it couldn't really be anyone else. This has come from a long built up pile of resentment on both sides. The truth does hurt and what they said to each other words wounded more than any weapon could.
I thought it would be Eric. For a while there I was expecting it to look like it was Zak before it was revealed to be someone else.
I knew it!

I don't think the truth will come out yet. Cain will tell the police that he doesn't know who hit him clearing Jai for the time-being but the Dingles will find out but keep it in the family, maybe some time later in the year it will all come out.

EMMERDALE'S Steve Halliwell was thrilled when he discovered his character Zak Dingle was his screen son Cain's mystery assailant.
Fans were kept guessing for weeks about the identity of the attacker — with many suspecting his ex Charity Tate and her fiancé Jai Sharma.
So Steve was stunned when bosses told him he would have to confess on screen to the violent attack on Cain, played by Jeff Hordley.
He said: "I was surprised but glad because I've been quiet on-screen lately.
"But you can't get more involved than that — almost killing your own son. So I was pleased there was going to be real drama to do."

Danny deserves his nomination and the awards he has won this year based on his storylines with Jackson. Both Jeff and Steve acted well last night, but it was based on the plot and a life-time of resentment between Father and Son. One scene doesn't make an outstanding actor or actress and apart from last night both Zak and Cain's storylines have been pretty lame for years with Zak being the layabout and Cain being the bully, apart from Lisa's rape last year they haven't done a lot.

i would also like the writers to tackle an eating disorder for nikhil. rik makarem is a great actor and portrays the vunerable side to nikhil very well. it would also be good as alot of eating disorders in dramas are more focussed on females. im sure emmy will do this story justice.

pauline quirke has been an excellent addition to the emmerdale family. a very talented actor. the scenes with danny miller have been truly amazing. pauline will be sorely missed. with pauline reprising her role as sharon theo dolly plops with a tour of birds, lets hope we get a christmas special of the three essex birds. what a present that would be.

i really enjoying emmerdale at the mo. its consistantly good and tends not to have the highs and lows of the other two. looking forward to the 40th celebrations, a note to stuart, please no more stunts or disasters. you don't need to do this. you have a great cast and have had some brilliant storylines, day of judgement is a prime example. have character driven stories and plots and if you can make the 40th as gripping as day of judgement you will have a sure fire winner on your hands.

I didnt think Cain bullied her = admitted he kept effectively saying...'you know you want me' and he was right....and he made comments about getting friendly with Holly which annoyed Moira, but I never felt he bullied....
