I am always annoyed that all the men are portrayed as being willing to risk their existing relationships for a quick fumble, such as Carl now, which seems unlikely as he and Chas had to go through so much to be together :angry:

On the 2nd part of Emmerdale on Thursday, Cain, Zak, Chaz and Paddy were at the bar watching Aaron and Jackson. Cain called Chaz 'Sis'. Surely that`s wrong as Chaz is Shadracks daughter, and Cain is Zaks son.

Emmerdale star Mark Charnock has reportedly revealed that he would love to play the role of Spiderman.

The actor, who plays Marlon Dingle in the ITV1 soap, said that it is his dream role and admitted that he would consider leaving Emmerdale to play the superhero.

Speaking to Soap magazine, he said: "I think they are due a really, really tall Spiderman. They'd probably have to cut the feet out of the suit, though!

He added: "I really love Emmerdale and playing Marlon as they always write such brilliant scripts for me. I get to do comedy - like when Marlon is with Paddy - and have an emotional life, with Rhona at the moment."

Even if Cain suspected that Natasha or Nathan were the guilty culprits, it would be hard for him to prove without implicating himself and admitting to the blackmail. After all if all the evidence is pointing to Ryan, then the police won't be looking that hard for another suspect...

Declan knows that Natasha and Nathan have a big secret, she admitted it to him and said she couldn't tell him. He'll put two and two together and realise that Ryan is being set up. I hope Nathan has made a big error somewhere along the line and finds himself in the frame for it. I'm sure Cain will be after the truth too as he does seem to genuinely get on with Ryan. Should be interesting to see how this all unravels.

Oh Diane what have you done??? That smile made me really uneasy... I've been swinging from genuinely ill to con man throughout, and after last night's episode I am now firmly in the con man camp... homeless with no money where will Diane and Victoria go?

The good thing about living in Emmerdale, you are never withouot a roof over your head and will always find a job :) However, I hope that if Charlie has conned her out of the money, he gets caught and is made to repay the money somehow, I know that legally he would not have to, as Diane gave him the money freely, I just like to think that somebody or something makes him regret his actions and return the money.

The investigation of the murder of Daniel Lamb/Mark Wylde is an absolute joke.

How can the soap police be so certain of the exact date that he was killed. Just because that is the night he allegedly went missing does not nessecarily mean thats the date he was killed. So what if slimy Nathan cannot prove where he was that night. Then they go on about a shotgun being used. Even if they examine all the shotguns in home farm its nigh on impossible to prove which shotgun would have actually been used in a murder unless of course they find a used cartridge beside the body. Next week we will see the planted evidence being used to set up Ryan. Again the assumption will be made that the murder happened on the same night as he and his father had a bust up. Where is the forensic proof for this.

I know its only a soap but ffs they should at least try for a bit of realism.

Thats what happend the soap formerly known as the Bill. They introduced outlandish characters and totally unbelieveable storylines and as a result their audience figures fell dramatically. It might be alright for soaps which cater for a younger audience who dont reallly care about realism but for long established soaps like Coorie and Emmerdale I think the fans have a right to a semblance of reality

The whole prison story is a load of codswallop. The prison seems more like a hotel. Nathan just decides to visit Ryan whenever it suits him even though it was after normal visiting hours. No need for a visiting order just turn up. And as for that muppet of a prison officer well she is beyond a joke. Its only a matter of time before they (slang word for prison officer) each other

He didnt have to frame Ryan though. Personally I think he is getting his just desserts and I really hope Cain does him some serious harm. However as we believe he is returning next year it would appear that Cain doesnt actually kill him

Im happy in a way that they are doing a rape storyline because you always hear about it in the news and theyve picked a good character and actress for the part. Also its a normal family woman rather than a young teenager that went on a nightout. Whilst every case is important, its just as important to show that this horrible crime can happen to anyone, any age.
And the fact that she wont report it is an even bigger issue

Emmerdale have been very clever in this storyline. As you say it's not the usual female type that viewers would expect to get raped in a soap. And how the story evolves is equally important. Lisa is terrified to report it not just brecause she knows Cain and Zak would kill Derek. but she knows he would manipulate the blame on to her sayings he encourage him, but in fact Lisa never flirted with Derek it was him weedling himself into the Dingle life and all the girls at the factory making innocent comments about her and Derek. I bet Lisa isn't the first female he's assulted. I hope the writers do this story justice.

Last nights episode was very good. This also gave us information on Charity's sad teenage years. With a understanding of why she is out for everything she can get from people, as she has been used in the past ,very sad.
