and just Edna

exactly....

and on the basis that a flock is the collective noun for sheep (plural)

that makes Ashley more used to preaching to .....his sheep (singular)

Hopefully this will only post once - I appear to being having a dual personality posting disorder that I can't seem to cure.

Anyway here goes. Tonights emmerdale.

Hannah (yawn) is off to London to get some acting lessons. She is going with her sister Holly who said that she willl look after her - doesn't exactly fill you full of hope does it. Didn't Ros "look after" Holly when it came to drugs??? Anyway - they are both off so tara and don't rush back.
Cameron and Cain are eyeing each other up and it's not in the chas/cameron way either. Cameron appears so smug that I hope it isn't long before Cain finds out the truth and bashes him one. Better still - gets his dad to do it. At least when Zak hits they don't get up again quickly. Besides he can plead diminished responsibility.
Debbie is back and full of the joys of Paris - okay so maybe "joys" and "Debbie" don't quite fit into a sentence together. That girl just wants to turn that frown upside down for once. No wonder heavy breather is seeking solace in the most inaptly named character in Emmerdale. Chastity - everyone's got a key to that belt!!!
Sarah obviously had a ball in Paris - what with the Eiffel tower and then CHEESE! Her parents don't half know how to show her a good time. No "Oh yeah I went to Disneyland Paris" like most normal kids. No, this supposedly sick child is dragged up a tall tower and then fed copious amounts of cheese.
Rhona is Bridezilla according to Marlon. Didn't we all want to see that picture of the pink wedding car that Paddy kept showing to others? Well at least Sarah will get better food than she did in Paris if she goes to the wedding cos it's Profiteroles all the way.
There was a bit of pointlessness and a lifesize cut out of Tom Jones at Home Farm. Must say that I find that Tom Jones cut out far more interesting than this plot line. We all know Megan's son will try his luck with Katie eventually. (Not a spoiler by the way - Just my view)
And finally -
David proposed to Alicia - awwww And he did it in the best way possible - with an onion crisp ring. Wow - he's covered dinner and the proposal all in one. We all know Alicia wants the real deal but David, bless him, can't see what's staring him in the face - and where Alicia is concerned there are always one or two things staring him in the face!!!!!

NB: Missing Gennie and Nikhil and bump! Still only a few days to wait - grrrrrrrrrrr

So tonights double episode.

Adam managed to extract himself from the quad bike for a whole episode - and people say miracles never happen!!!!
But not all is well on t' farm. Moira is getting some strange looks from the scouser (can't recall his name - he's that memorable) Me thinks an assignation is on the cards YUCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK And what will Victoria say!
The Georgie oompah lumpa found out about David and Alisha's engagement. But Eric is determined to ruin the big day. He isn't even good at sorting out his own love life - never mind sticking his nose into David's. Love David asking for the engagement ring back when she's finished with it. He's ALL HEART!!!
Laurel looked at underhand ways to save a few bob. Honestly her halo has well and truly slipped and is somewhere between her waist and her knees now. Not as bad as Ashley's which is dragging along the floor though.
Talking of things dragging along the floor - the bottom lip of Debbie Dingle was slightly more perky tonight when she was banging on about banging on. The more I see and hear the more Cameron sounds like a total sleaze bag and Chas sounds like a desperate bunny boiler. If a rabbit goes missing from the vets I would look straight at Chas first!!!!!
The rest of my recap will follow shortly after a quick workout - blimey I sound like Nikhil!!

Back

So Gennie oh little dumpy Gennie. To be honest I don't think she looks too bad - maybe a little bit on her face - clever make up. Do her mother and boyfriend not realise that it's comments like theirs that make people bulimic!!! Anyway - Nikhil - as insensitive as ever thinks everything can be answered by healthy eating and exercise. Maybe if she'd had a little less exercise she wouldn't be putting on the weight now. We know what Nikhil is like but her own mother is starting to come across as a right cow. Chas is a shoulder to lean on when it isn't wrapped round Cameron but the poor gal really needs to tell someone else. Preferably Nikhil. Charity finding out was a pearl. Her reaction was so charity and I love her for it. You so know that deep down she quite likes Nikhil - however much she teases him and I genuinely think she is made up for them - regardless of her own baby issues at present.

Nikhil has a little surprise for Gennie who announces that she hates surprises - yeah well she has had one or two recently. Anyway - what better gift for a pregnant woman than BOOT CAMP!!! Yes I know he doesn't know what we know she knows but honestly BOOT CAMP!!!!

I think that basically sums up the ins and outs of tonights episode - except for the explosive finish. Gennie finding her sister and Cameron getting jiggy on her sofa. Oooooooooooo and what's worse is we all know she has arranged to meet Debbie there complete with cake! Wonder if Gennie's mind will be more on keeping the secret or eating the cake..... At least if Debbie does find out Gennie can share her comfort cake with her!!!

Think that is all for now - except:

David and Alisha are planning their big day
If only Eric Pollard would stop getting in the way
We all know it's convenience and things might get quite shaky
But how else is David guaranteed to have custody of "Our Jakey"

Laurel's got cash flow issues - a deal could be quite handy
No agency as middle man - just Ruby helping Sandy
But Ruby laid it straight as she sadly turned down Laurel
Meanwhile Cameron and Chastity had yet another quarrel

"You said you love her" screeched Chas again. He couldn't tell a lie
Admitting that he did love Debs he let out a massive sigh
Regurgitating same old same old - her silly grin, his breathing
I've lost all respect for both of them - and when they snog, I'm heaving

Nikhil - the master of diplomacy and minister of tact
Thinks less of Gennies feelings and more of her digestive tract
It's clear the fellow loves her and thinks that he knows best
But the way he just bangs on will leave her clinically depressed

Thankfully the biggest gob and worst keeper of secrets knows
It wont be long till Charity will just simply have to disclose
Now Gennie faces a dilemma - will she cover for her sis
It looks like we will know next time - I cannot wait for this.

now last night on the farm, Andy and Adam were talking about the 'cattle' - as in who left the gate open and let the cattle out etc

so they run a farm with cows and sheep, no herding sheepdog, cows never get brought into the sheds etc?

and....in the large shed/barn with all the equipment were a couple of threshing-like machines - so are they also arable farmers on top of everything else? !!

who the hell is making them, that dopey farmhand is incapable, I wouldn't let Moira any where near a sausage, Sugden's to busy supervising all the staff and to cap it all Adam spends most of his time tearing around on his four-wheeler plus he always looks in need of a good wash or in his case a soak in the sheep dip ,so he fails on hygene .

So Emmerdale are finally taking viewers advice and the farm might actually get one dog - now all they need is one man. I anticipate lots of hilarious moments with Adam and the dog, Moira and the dog, Paddy and the dog, Rhona and the dog. Ooooo my sides will be aching with laughter!!!!!

On to THE REVEAL - no not that kind of reveal although if Gennie had been delayed by that Bakewell it might have been that kind of reveal!!! Gennie, quite understandably didn't take it very well - what with her secret pregnancy and now this. Chas begged her to keep quiet about it - is this the same Chas who Gennie had asked to keep quiet about her pregnancy only for Chas to blabb it to Charity. "Tell the whole village" I say. "In fact had it in the Hotton courier" In fact - Nuts would pay good money for Chas to do a big reveal!!!!

Gennie covered for the sleazy pair with a random tale of huge arachnids and knights in shining armour. So obviously a load of cowdung but Debbie fell in it - sorry fell FOR it. Off she trotted with her heavy breathing cheating, lying windbag of a git. Meanwhile - Chas tells the whole sorry saga. "We're in love" Oh yeah course you are, like you were in love with Paddy and Carl and Carl again. Methinks she is reading more into this than Cameron. He doesn't appear to give two hoots really so long as his ass isn't on the line. Gennie is appalled, shocked, angry, hurt - pretty much how she feels about Nikhil and the whole you're fat thing. I suppose Gennie is a bit of a pig in the middle in this case though.

Talking of Nikhil - awwww bless him. He thinks he can't say a thing right or do a thing right - when really he can't say or do a thing right. He's consistent if nothing else. Nice to see him congratulating David and Alisha once the shock had worn off. Well son, there's plenty more shocks to come mate.

David being grassed on by his dad - how low can Eric go. Maybe he was looking out for David but all he has to do is hide the wedding dress and there shouldn't be any worry of David getting drunk and parading round in it. Loved the kiss David gave Alisha. Her expression of amazingly pleasurable shock was great but his expression of a naughty lad caught doing something he shouldn't with someone he shouldn't behind the bikesheds was priceless. David is a great comedy character and long may that remain.

Crammed in between the actually interesting stuff was the obvious seeds being sewn with Ruby and Laurel. I mean really - Ruby and Laurel - that's as unbelievable a pairing as Ruby and Ali. On second thoughts I think I'd prefer Ruby and Laurel.

Another pointless mini storyline was the ongoing absolutely hilarious battle of the jokers behind the bar. Marlon and Priya are to comedy double acts what Jimmy Carr is to honest tax paying comedians. And no chas they will not get a room - that's your territory - only you just use anyone else's room.

Really starting to miss Nicolaisms in this show of late. She has some of the best comedic lines in the whole soap and I need a weekly fix of nicolaisms just to see me through the week.

Okay so award for unfunniest comedy moment - Priya and anything she says or does
Award for betrayal of the night - It should be Eric for betraying David but something else tops it. The award goes to Adam contemplating replacing his quad for a dog
Award for skin crawling creepiness - Cameron and near enough every scene he has with Chas. In fact EVERY seen he has with Chas.
Award for most shocked person - a tie between Gennie (catching the lovebirds) and Nikhil (discovering that David and Alisha are engaged)

Well I guess THAT'S ALL FOLKS. - Roll on Sunday.

What has happened to Chas? She never had the most strongest of morals but jeez...she "feels for Debbie"...well I'm sure Debbie will be touched by that when she finds out her aunt has been sleeping with her boyfriend whilst she is pregnant with a child and has a sick kid. She is coming across as so desperate and pathetic. I have a feeling they are setting this up though so that Cameron is less 'in love' than her and she will lose everything whilst he walks away (after all he's walked away from his wife and his own two kids so walking away from Debbie, Chas and two kids that aren't even his is not a stretch for him)

Okay so last nights episode

Chas and Cameron - chas and cameron and yet more chas and cameron. I am sick to the back teeth of chas and cameron and will happily pay for them to go to a desert island - ONE WAY. Alternatively I will give them train tickets to Albert Square where they would fit in perfectly with all the other scandal and misery!!!!

Alicia and David - awwwwwww bless em. Couldn't help but notice that pre nups seem to be the flavour of the week on British soaps!!!!

Gennie and Nikhil - crossed wires, broken hearts, fear of rejection. This couple are a perfect match in my opinion because they both have so many hang ups and quirks which I find quite endearing. We all know it has to come right in the end but bless Nikhil last night asking to talk to David - clearly he doesn't value Jay's opinion as much as his best mate. Like his and David's relationship - just hope it isn't damaged when Nikhil finds out he is best man to a fake wedding. Felt for both of Gennie and Nikhil during the dumping scene. As we all know Amber dumped him, then Maisie dumped him and finally Chas dumped him - I can see why he felt he had to get in their first to make it more of a break idea than a finishing for good idea. And the final reveal from Charity..... yeyyyyyyyyy she finally does something nice for Gennie and Nikhil. Methinks Charity is softening with age.

Val Pollard and the whole Amy birthday thing was so so whatever for me.

Anyway - that's how I saw it all.

I bid you farewell until after this evenings great follow on - cant wait!!!!!

Tonights emmerdale

Let's put all the Cameron and Chas to one side shall we before I throw up.

Jai and Nikhil's dad - block of wood springs to mind but putting that also to one side it seems Val is as transparent as Cameron's asthma. Trying to make Eric jealous by flirting. I do hope Eric stays with Brenda cos he and Brenda go nicely together - even though Brenda is even thicker than Sam Dingle at times. I quite like her naivety and long may it continue.

Priya - again what is the point of her?????

Lisa and Belle - it don't seem right without Zak there. Bit too much Lisa moaning for me also.

Charity being all sisterly and straight to the point with Nikhil. If it weren't for her Nikhil wouldn't have know Gennie was pregnant until her waters broke - even then he'd have thought it was all those extra carbs pressing on her bladder.

So on to the young couple. Mr and Mrs mixed messages. This couple take one foot forward and fifty thousand feet backwards. Even getting down on one knee he can't do it right. Then again that is in keeping with his obsessions regarding cleanliness. Nice and quirky proposal. Liked it. So sweet when she said yes and it all seemed to be going so well. For once Nikhil thought he couldn't possibly say the wrong thing...... but this is Gennie we're talking about - little hormonal Gennie. So - it's all off even before the ring made a mark on her finger. Come on you two - sort it out - but keep throwing in those curveballs too cos I quite like that about them. This storyline was the only thing that held my attention tonight -

Where is Nicola - funny, one liner queen Nicola. I miss her! Never thought I'd say that. Still Nikhil and Gennie double act fills in all the light heartedness. Like the way this couple are not ever heavy going. A good soap should always have a couple who aren't all high drama and tragedy.

Look forward to tomorrow night now - with anticipation.

Oh before I forget - Cameron and Chas talked about running away again and again and again - YAWNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN JUST GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tonights emmerdale and HOORAY - no wild affairs behind anyone else's back, no depressing garbage to drag us down. Just two main story threads both with lots of humour involved. THAT is what separates Emmerdale from every other soap. The one liners are THE BEST.

So Val, Eric, Brenda and Amy - nice four hander here with a little Victoria help. Quite liked there little "who's going to take out the birthday girl" storyline. Especially love the loyalty Amy gives to Eric. Also she must be one of the few people who can put Val in her place. Let's face it - Val can usually dish it but seh can't take it. Like these characters when they are like this.

A little bit of Lisa, Belle and Sam - that was a nice interlude to break up the main plot of the evening.

Yep - you guessed it. Finally - for once - a major storyline that takes up almost the entire episode featuring Gennie and Nikhil (together and separate) Love the way this played out. Love these two vulnerable characters and think they are my favorite soap couple because even when things are going sooooo wrong - there is still humour. Gennie's comment about BREAD was priceless. Thought his comments about their "son" on his first day at school, winning cross country and starting university were great and typical Nikhil thinking of the cross country as a milestone in his child's life. Also liked her reply "where do I come into this?" Loved to see uptight Nikhil totally lose the plot with Gennie's weekly shop! Some great one liners especially from Gennie but Nikhil's hang ups generate so many of them with his quirks and follibles. There was nothing about their scenes that didn't fit perfectly into how they have always been. Totally consistent characters and the sweetest, quirkiest couple in the village. Only one question: Who cleaned up Nikhil's mess???

So many classic quotes tonight - most of them from the female characters, which is nice.

Some men will slay dragons to prove their love for a woman, some climb the tallest tower, some face trials, some climb mountains and swim oceans, some take out a full page advert in the newspaper but I have never ever heard of a man proving his love for someone by - EATING A SLICE OF BREAD! Brillopads idea........... great writing!!!!!!!

Absolutely loved the episode tonight and thank heaven there was no chas and cameron to put a damper on things. A light, emotional, happy ending was desperately in order when you consider that this cameron and chas thing must be heading to a make or break in the not too distant future.

Great night and hope to see more like this where happiness reigns.

Had a sandwich today - wholemeal and took one mouthful but couldn't swallow it cos it was soooooo stodgy. Help - I think I'm turning into Nikhil!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay so the hour long emmerdale.

Val and Rishi / Eric and Brenda - It's starting to look like Eric is blotting out what Val did to him and starting to crave the little firecracker once more. Boredom with Brenda appears to be setting in. How long before he breaks her naive little heart? Before or after she's poked his leg with the wooden spoon?????
Rishi's attitude gives a good insight into his two son's. Particularly Nikhil. The whole jumping to conclusions and lack of understanding of women - like father like son.

Jai and Charity. Honestly Jai - so Charity doesn't want to get huge again, she doesn't want to go into labour again and she doesn't want to commit the rest of her life to yet another little Charity offspring. Looking at Debbie and her miserable face - can you blame her??? Jai is being so selfish really. Charity could have lied to him and pretended she wanted one then just done all in a woman's power to NOT get pregnant but she didn't. She was honest with him. Basically in his eyes she can do nothing right of late. BUT had it not been for Charity, Gennie and Nikhil would be on their own and miserable. At least she helped the course of true love - unlike Chas who saw it more of an inconvenience to her own romantic plans.

The Dingles, Lisa, Zak, Sam and Belle and the honorary Dingle nurse. Hoping things start to settle for them soon as we need a little light relief in that quarter. Poor Marlon is the only Dingle with a sense of humour at the moment.

Bridezilla and Paddy - some nice light relief from these tonight with a dash of Marlon and Nicola to add to the mix. YEYYYYY Nicola is back and we had a little tiny cough and you miss it Nicolaism too.

Nikhil and Gennie - well these two are like buses - you don't see neither hide nor hair of em for weeks then they are everywhere - and I love it.
Lots of awww factor from them tonight.
Awww a fluffy toy for baby
Awww Nikhil standing up for himself and Gennie by shutting up the two grandmothers to be and Val.
Awww Nikhil bending over backwards to make everything perfect for her.
Awww a long engagement.
Awww Asking Gennie to move in
Awww Nikhil allowing Gennie to take over most of his wardrobe
Awww scan time soon and a piccie of little sharma/walker

If the above had been anyone else I think I might have thrown up but it kind of works with these characters and the way they have developed. Also - how humungous is Gennie all of a sudden. It appears that as soon as she agreed to marry Nikhil she put on tons of weight. I have a theory that when Nikhil trashed her place the other night with the food everywhere - I think while Nikhil slept off his delirium - Gennie hoovered up the mess - with her mouth!

And finally:
Jai and Charity argue - Rachel (who I have never seen clean the factory before) listens to the row like some kind of secret agent. She does have a tendancy to lurk. I think she might even have the potential to be a bunny boiler. We'll see shall we?????

What a lovely week this has been in Emmerdale - I only wish it could continue in such vein but I feel we haven't quite done with Chas and Cameron's yawning shall we shan't we saga. OH JOY :(

Tonight on Emmerdale

Marlon and Paddy found their relationship had been taken to a whole new level while at Declan's house. The nondescript son of Megan make a comment which led to a classic line "Do I look like a gay Grandad?" Nicola was OF COURSE in earshot for this and as always gave her two penneth. Also loved it when Paddy was feeling sorry for himself and his increasing old age then said he was going to check on his step child only to find he needed a push to get off the sofa. Bless.

Laurel and Sandy storyline was a bit nondescript really. It must be leading somewhere I guess. Only time will tell - Only time and the script will tell.

Lisa and the loan sharks. Oooo aren't they a gruesome twosome NOT. I have seen scarier men in the local branch of my high street bank! Even Belle could take them on. She did it with Nikhil and she could do it with them! For crying out loud scriptwriters - give Lisa something to smile about for once. She has been a right grumpy, miseryguts for a year or so now and it's wearing thin. She's even more miserable than Debbie - and I never thought that level of misery existed...except in Eastenders where it thrives.

Rishi and Georgia - separate, take a break, divorce - who cares! But please - if one of them has to stay in the village let it be Georgia. For one her relationship with the two boys is more interesting. Also - Rishi is dull, boring, lacklustre and more wooden than the horse in the 7.30 at Troy!

The Scan photo - gets it's own category. Awww Nikhil asking his family who would like a copy of the photograph and then when no-one offered he seemed so offended - bless. Nice to see he hasn't changed completely overnight though with his obsession with ensuring Gennie has enough water for the scan - in fact I believe if he could have disconnected and reconnected the kitchen sink - he would have taken that instead.

Nikhil and Gennie (or Lara Croft as I now think of her "Thanks for that Charity!") - his family are a selfish bunch and it was proven more tonight than at any other time. No-one was really in his corner. When you consider that he is going through the most amazing, settled and happy times of his life when he has achieved something no-one thought he would, his family have been a constant let down. Priya is just relieved she is off the hook - a vacuous individual anyway. Rishi and Georgia are far more concerned with one upmanship and point scoring and Jai, the one who should have been there for Nikhil is clearly resentful and bitter. I bet if Jai had been the expectant father things would be so very different all round. It was nice to see bits of Nikhil and Gennie tonight cos I hadn't expected to see them at all. I thought the scriptwriters would think they had had their episode run for a few months. Thanks for the unexpected pleasure of the cutest couple in soap.

Charity and Jai - I initially felt for Jai but now am firmly in camp Charity. Obviously Jai has always got what he wanted in life (except for Mia) but he is behaving like a petulant child. Good on Charity for sticking to her guns over this. It's almost as if Nikhil and Jai are swapping roles in the content and secure, confident stakes.

The last scenes - Rachel and Jai.
Forget all the kissing bits which felt quite awkward and sooooo very wrong. When they were getting drunk I thought they were great and these two characters really should get drunk more often. Especially loved Rachel's likening Nikhil to CP30. Classic. Rachel us a character with potential for a lot of humour and I am gutted there isn't a Rachel and Marlon or Rachel and David pairing on the horizon cos they are two very funny characters and would bring out the fun Rachel.

All in all this was quite a good episode with lots of variety of light and shade. Finally got Mum hooked on Emmerdale cos she never realised a soap could be funny too - she's always been on the dark side or BBC1 Eastenders to use it's other name. Now she is an Emmerdalian in training. Hooray!

I must be a hard cow because I still dont feel sorry for him - he has been a grinning, judgemental, sanctimonious pr*ck all his stay in the village, and now he is getting a taste of the adversity some people face in life we are all meant to feel sorry for him?! Welcome to the real world!! he could go to soup kitchens or refuges locally but pride is stopping him (and that always comes before a fall Vicar!!)

The fact that when his plight is known, Marlon, who Ashley berated, shouted at and generally hated (another of the sins?) takes him in and offers him room and board - is more of a Christian act than any we have seen from St Ashley!

which probably speaks volumes as to the type of man Marlon is - whereas Ashley feels none of what has happened is his fault - it is Marlon's and Laurel's and Sandy's....and probably now Edna and Jude for taking the Church keys back etc etc

how about it being Ashley's fault, for not curbing his temper with Sandy, and not being able to follow instructions and keep his job? and not be able to swallow his pride and seek help that is our there?

Did anyone else notice that Debbie Dingles Stairs have move to the opposite side of the Room beside the front door instead ???

Emmerdale fans expressed their confusion online last night (July 4) as the layout of Debbie Dingle's home changed without explanation.

Yesterday's episode of the ITV1 soap unveiled a set revamp for Debbie's house, with changes including the stairs now running in the opposite direction.

A number of Emmerdale viewers immediately questioned the rebuild and tweeted Charley Webb - who plays Debbie - to ask about the sudden makeover.

Gemma Oaten, who plays Rachel Breckle, also revealed that she had received "about 100 tweets" about Debbie's stairs - even though she has never filmed on the set.

Oaten later told her online followers: "I've tried to find out for you... and yes, the stairs have been moved in Debbie's house #emmerdale due to tweaks being needed as filming in that little studio was a nightmare for cameras etc.

"A lot of sets have needed tweaking since the move to new studio. Hope that helps! So there we have it #debbiesstairgate is hopefully resolved. Hurrah! If I'm wrong I apologise, but I tried for you."

Viewers will get another glimpse of the new-look set this evening (July 5) as a fight breaks out between Cain Dingle and Cameron Murray at the house.

Emmerdale star Steve Halliwell has said that his current storyline has seen him being pushed as an actor.

Halliwell's character Zak Dingle has suffered a mental breakdown in recent months, and is currently facing financial issues with a loanshark on the soap.

"[Fans have] seen another side to him. The guy who can sort everything out with his fists, he's realised that's not always the answer," he told Daybreak.

"It was difficult because to make it real you have to go there in your mind to places you don't want to and trigger off emotions."

Halliwell explained that many viewers have contacted him to say that they have related to Zak's problems.

"People are talking to me about their own mental illnesses. They feel like they know Zak and talk to me as if I'm Zak.

"People's lives are full of dramas. It's reflective of real life in that sense."

The actor is nominated for his role of Zak Dingle for 'Best Actor' at this year's Inside Soap Awards.

On his nomination, he said: "It's lovely. It's a measure of whether you're doing it well or not, I suppose.

"If the business say they want to give me an award then that's great. I think a lot of people vote for who they fancy so I'm out of the running!"

Emmerdale star Steve Halliwell has said that he is pleased Zak Dingle's loan shark storyline has shown "another side" to the character.

Viewers have this year seen Zak become dependent on a money lender after being sectioned under the Mental Health Act.

Halliwell explained that in order to convey a more vulnerable side to a character who usually tries to "sort everything out with his fists", he has chosen to dive into darker areas of his own psyche.

"Fans have seen another side to him," he told Daybreak. "The guy who can sort everything out with his fists, he's realised that's not always the answer.

"It was difficult because to make it real you have to go there in your mind to places you don't want to and trigger off emotions."

Halliwell added that he is happy for people with conditions like Zak to come to him for support.

"People are talking to me about their own mental illnesses," he said. "They feel like they know Zak and talk to me as if I'm Zak. People's lives are full of dramas. It's reflective of real life in that sense."

emmerdale is getting a good old kicking on other sites at the mo. i may be a loan voice in the emmerdale wilderness, but im actaully enjoying it. its easy to watch, its less hammy and certainly better acted than coronation stret and i dont feel like ive been through the ringer like when ive watched eastenders.

out of the big 3 eastenders is certainly on form with out a doubt, but i dont think this will last for long.

for some reason im being drawn to emmerdale again. it may be that in both eastenders and coronation street you have superb actors and then there is a gulf and you have the not so good and then the truly awful. i dont need to name and shame we all know who they are!

emmerdale dosent have stand out performances, but what it does have is an excellent ensemble. imo that is far more important for the health and growth of a show.

coronation street will always be top of the ratings as it has the most loyal of fans and most easily pleased and for that reason alone it will out live both emmerdale and eastenders.

there is joke doing the rounds about dire hard coronation street fans, that if the end of the world was coming they would say, 'well can it wait until 8 'oclock when corrie has finished, because i'm not moving.' :)

liked the way Robbie when asking for work, addressed all his queries to Cameron - the hired grease monkey!!! and even said to Debbie; 'shame it would have been nice working WITH you...'

I wish someone would wipe that annoying smile off Rishi's face,he acts too smug for his own good,he needs to be taken down a peg or two.And he is only cramping Charity's style.

Did Rhona or Paddy not have any family to invite to their wedding?

Also where is Ashley hiding these days?

Did Rhona or Paddy not have any family to invite to their wedding? Paddy could have invited his 2 ex wives. It would appear that Rhona has no family at all

Also where is Ashley hiding these days? It was reported that he would not be attending because he thought that he should have been in charge

not enjoying paddy's blackmailing reaction to Laurel and marlon being together.

I didnt like them as a couple initially but when egg-head paddy started on with the ' what will you miss more - losing leo or everyone finding out about you...' I started to warm to them

lets hope they pull the rug from right under fat guts feet and tell Ashley etc that they are together. They are both single now, so whats the problem!!

and I say fat guts as I cant stand a man who cant manage to ever tuck a shirt into his waistband!!
