He was wrong to chase her and tell John about the affair but in the end Moira choose to go with him so she damaged her family but John did take her back in the end

Moira's mother wouldve gone surely - there has never been mention of her not getting on with John
Its a thing about soap funerals. After all over on EE Michelle didnt even turn up for any of her families' funerals
Coronation Street star Ryan Thomas has confessed that he was "in tears" watching his brother Adam Thomas in yesterday's (February 24) edition of Emmerdale.
The latest episode of the countryside soap saw the 24-year-old's character Adam Barton overcome with emotion at the funeral of his father John (James Thornton), who died in a car crash in scenes broadcast last week.
Ryan - who plays Jason Grimshaw in Corrie took to Twitter after the show last night to praise his sibling's heartwrenching performance.
"In tears watching my bro on emmerdale tonight," he wrote. "so proud that ep was special, well done bro @adamthomas21 ps can I hav your autograph (sic)."
Adam, meanwhile, jested on his own profile: "just watched the ep tonight with my lil niece she goes "well done uncle Adam" that's the only critic ill listen too!"

I thought Diane owned the biggest share. Diane seems to busy poking her nose into other peoples business to concern herself about Chas & Cameron. She might even want the pair of 'em to get together so it gives Andy Sugden more chance with Debbie. Either way poor old Chas ain't had a fella for months.

It just seem to be so random I dont think I ever saw them even speak to each other

Emmerdale star John Middleton has pledged his future to the soap, confirming that he wants to carry on playing Ashley Thomas for some time to come.
Ashley is currently at the centre of a hard-hitting elder abuse storyline which has seen him behaving angrily towards his frail father Sandy (Freddie Jones).
Middleton, discussing the plot's future, told TV Times: "This is going to involve huge changes for Ashley, very traumatic changes. It will be the biggest thing that's happened to him in the entire time that I've been on the show.
"It's very, very exciting for me as an actor, but I will be sad if his family falls apart, because I have a wonderful working relationship with Charlotte Bellamy, who plays Laurel.
"I'm contracted until December this year and I hope that I'm still there after that, because I love this job. I adore working with the team, and I don't just mean the actors."
Middleton admitted that he had some doubts when he first heard that the abuse story was on the way for Ashley.
He explained: "When I first found out, my first thought was, 'This isn't Ashley'. But at the same time I thought, 'Okay, let's say that it is' and I saw it as a huge challenge, a departure that takes me into a whole new area for the character."
"A lot of people in my generation are having to look after elderly parents and they absolutely understand the pressure that Ashley is under," Middleton continued. "I'm glad we're exposing this issue and if we get the message out that people are not alone, there is help out there for them, then I would be delighted.
"It's a burning issue and it's something that people are too embarrassed to talk about, or to admit to feeling."

oh yes!!! yet again good scripting....when Aaron confessed, surely plod would have detained him, they were within the time limit, and then went and spoke to Cain and Adam to coroborate Aaron's confession, whilst he was still at the police station and couldnt speak to them first

agreed, my father became frail and I watched him struggle with simple things like the butter lid, and it is hard to watch Sandy in that role - Freddie Jones is doing a fantastic job
it would be nice to see more of the older cast members in all soaps credited at awards nominations for their performances...?

i am a week behind with emmerdale at the mo , just finished watching aarons final eps.
i know there are some on this forum who are not keen on the talented mr miller, but i just wanted to say how much i have enjoyed his portryal of aaran over the past four years. imo a great young talent who has a bright future ahead.

i know there are some on this forum who are not keen on the talented mr miller, but i just wanted to say how much i have enjoyed his portryal of aaran over the past four years. imo a great young talent who has a bright future ahead. We shall see

Finally Laurel is starting to find out what Ashley's been up to with Sandy,thanks to her daughter.Hope she dosen't let him off lightly.
Really well done two episodes last night poor Sandy seeing him with bruise my heart went out to him

not so much when there are no particular storylines but a couple of years ago Ashley had a female stalker and she and John Middleton were superb then, when it comes to real drama, those two are fantastic

I always find Emmerdale's acting portrayals more honest and effective and not ott like other soaps and it gets little recognition

See i like Rachel, because she's got a heart of gold but no-one gives jack sh1t about her. Her sister is too busy with her life to care and Alicia who I think could be a great friend to her if she wasn't leaving soon would be the ideal person to help her and David get together, instead of trying to compete for David's affections. Since Rachel appeared she is always looking out for everyone but no-one thinks of her, yes she over did it on the make-up but she needs a pal with a big heart like Alicia or Chas to give her a cuddle and give her some confidence.

Cameron is working his way through the Dingles - next stop Lisa or Gennie????? I liked Chas with Carl - the banter was great between them. He doesn't have that banter with Megan and Chas doesn't have it with Cameron. I also don't buy into Chas and Cameron as being in love or anything. They don't seem compatible at all. As for Ruby - with her job she would be providing home care for Sandy as she is qualified to do that whereas Rachel is not. Ruby is an private homecare agency worker from what I gather and if she gets paid the same wage that other homecare workers I know get then she will need that cafe money too just to survive.

yes Ruby works as a carer, not in a care home. Rachel was only ever the cleaner for Laurel and Ashley, but the access that gave her to the house, allowed her to notice Sandy was struggling

Maybe he should grow a big beard or wander round the village selling the big issue? Oh well, if he can't get a job elsewhere Andy is looking for someone on the farm. Ashley has worked with flocks before so it should suit him down to the ground.
Great lesson tonight in how not to tell a child their mum might be sent down! Still - he'll forget all about her once he gets stuck into the computer games with his oh so boring and materialistic dad. Alternatively he can stay with David, get bladdered and they can try on wedding dresses.
Priya asking if she could manage the woolpack cos it looks a doddle was spot on. Val only exercises her gob and hair whilst Chas only exercises horizontally. Val sits at the bar laying down the law, Chas goes in the back laying Cameron.

vicars are said to preach to their flock - flock being congregation and taken from the shepherds tending their flock by night i suppose.
