To me it seems Rose behaved worse than Will, or at best they were one as bad as the other. Dawn really does need to get off her high horse. Other silly story, if Rose has gone back to to Spain what will she do there, with no money and no home. Personally I would be quite happy to see Dawn go and join her. Get well soon Evan, so that Dawn can join Rose.

Presumably there are other drivers we just never see them. If they thought a driver had been bribed, the question they should be asking is, who by, and why, but they do not seem to be asking this. If they think a driver did it, it makes Caleb's offer to buy even more suspicious. Another story that makes no sense.

That would not necessarily prove he was not using red deisel, as they would say he had filled up with legal deisel since using it. Jimmy should be able to check his milage record against the times when he filled up legally, assuming any time red deisel was used it would be a full tank, otherwise it would not be worth using it, this should mean that his mileage should be higher than the mileage for his recorded trips. Mind you they could say he had done extra jobs off the books. Seems poor Jimmy is screwed.

I do not like these "arty stylized" episodes. I get confused as to what is real and what is imagined, that is if any of it was real. It can be difficult enough to follow stories at the best of times without adding this element of make believe to it.

I was just rewatching Belle's proposal to Tom with Torville and Dean in the rink, and I realized why this story, minus the past couple of days, has been so grim.

Tom used to be much more well rounded. With Belle, I loved seeing her laugh again, but understand why she always was bogged with the dark cloud realizing how grim her future was. But Tom wasn't a one sided villain who was always manipulating or hurting his wife, making mistakes at work, such as the cancer misdiagnosis with him about to put the dog down, taking advantage of animals at work, always working to convince others that his wife was crazy.

He laughed. He had interests. You could see why Belle was initially allured to him and ignoring the time he pushed her down, because Tom was so much more than a complete menace and evil all the time.

By reducing Tom to almost a satire of himself, the show lost some of the audience along the way. There were no high moments along with the low. The story got grimmer and grimmer.

Now mind you, I'm not sticking up for Tom in any way and want him to go down hard. I'm so glad that Belle now has Charity and Cain on her side, protecting her. It's just that these people get away with it because others see them fun loving and good, in addition to blaming the victim through the poisoning they've received. That whole fun loving laughing side of Tom is gone as we see him so clearly working the crowd. There is no longer a Jeckyl and Hyde aspect to him. He's just evil.

To me, that's why the story seems to be dragging on and on. The presentation seems to be wanting to manipulate us with black and white, good and bad, as opposed to showing all facets of the characters.

How many villians in the village actually end up in Jail?

Meena went to jail but Carl, Cameron, Emma, Craig were all killed off. Some of these storylines run for months and end abruptly, in a way it cheats the viewers out of a proper ending. I'd like to see Tom put away for what he has done - although it would be nice to see him face Dingle justice beforehand

Not sure why Cain would immediately believe Caleb and not his own son. He can be a really hateful character at times. I hope his words to Nate and Moira don't come back to haunt him.

I thought Traceys reaction was a bit extreme considering she expected Nate to forgive her affair.

I was annoyed at Cain to for not believing his own son and then brutalizing him. He's going to feel so bad when the truth about Moira comes out. I also was annoyed at Tracy, but don't expect any better from her. I just felt sorry for their child.

As for Jimmy, I have a soft spot for him, even if he is wrong her. As annoyed as I was at Cain about Nate, I was so glad that he was there for Belle.

Another over dramatic action scene, where they try too hard, so instead of seeking realism, they create unnecessary drama. Instead of throwing the shotgun away, why did Moira not use it to blast a hole in the barn door, proving she could hit a barn door. Failing that she could have used the barrels as a crowbar, to prise some of the boards lose, there was enough gaps in the door. With so many gaps in the door that it would be possible to breathe some fresh air from outside the barn, why would Moira carry Ruby further into the smoke filled barn, where the fire was fiercer. Final moan, I do not remember them being on such friendly terms that Moira would call Ruby darling

It was a bit daft to have them all outside the barn and none of them doing anything to help Cain. No one trying to get water or maybe drive the tractor into the barn? Instead they all mulled about doing not much. Mack seemed to have given up on Moira 'we tried' and then let Cain run in himself.

Just realized it was more daft than I first thought. Why would you padlock a barn door on the inside especially as it seemed there was only one way in or out, what purpose would it serve. The part the bolt fitted into was only held by two short screws which would easily have given way with Moira kicking it.

A great big beam, probably made of oak, which would take ages to burn through, falls still intact, soon after the fire started. Most amazing thing, was that after Cain ran in, the barn door was open, if only that had been the case when Moira was trying to get out.

I do not think she had a key with her. The padlock was one of those brass padlocks that simply snaps shut.

Moira's mind may be confused now, but it looked like the bolt had been there for a long time. I just cannot think of any circumstances where you would fit a padlock to the inside of a door, if there is no other way out, what purpose would it serve, except to create a dramatic situation when two women get locked in a burning barn.

Actually there seemed to be another smaller door on the barn just behind Will, but no one made any attempt to get in that way.

I thought it was quite a good ep, although I am not fussed about the blackmail storyline at all.

Never mind that he doesn't want to spend time with her and tells her to go back to be his eyes and ears. Even if she hadn't heard that he was an abusive horror, it's so obvious that he's all about his ex.

I suspect that when he next strikes against Belle, Cain and the family will be tied up with Moira, leaving Belle alone to face him.

The tendency nowadays seems to be, to change personalities and behavior to suit that current story. Look how quickly Angry Aaron changed. Cannot imagine this happening with Annie or Jack.

I think that would depend if it was saved to the cloud, I do not think it is automatically saved there unless you chose to do so. Many people do not think it safe, as it can be hacked. I never use the cloud. I would not think Tom would save incriminating evidence there.
