It is one thing for Laurel to tell Ashley and her kids about her relationship with Marlon,but it is another thing that Marlon is fighting for the right to keep his son in the country.It's not like Laurel will loose her kids if she tells them about her and Marlon.

no but as step mother, a court would surely weigh up both parents residence status (Ashley doesnt really have anywhere to live), their income, (Ashley has no real means of support), so Laurel 'may' lose Gabby, but keeping custody is more in her favour surely?

nice to have diane back, she may not have a storyline, but she was so missed. the woolpack scenes work so much better with her around. when you look at other soaps with eastenders and the queen vic with kat and alfie and in corrie with stella, you realise how much better emmerdale is with diane and chas. :)
