Maybe it's just the mood I'm in today but I'm now getting bored with this repetitive 'are they are they not' stuff with Robert and Rebecca - I do hope this next lot of spoilers gives us some things we don't know about that shows an end to this storyline. If I was Robert - no matter how much I loved Aaron and how many times I told him he was the only one for me, if he still doubted me I would end up saying I'd had enough and just end it.
I appreciate they have to deal with Aaron's insecurities and self doubt, it's good to get this issue sorted, but if they are going to carry on with this right up to the wedding I just hope they go down a different route and find something else that causes it.
I know we have to have angst between our boys because if it it was fluff all the time they'd just disappear into the background and we'd hardly ever see them, but this constant one step forward and two steps back is becoming tiresome.

Its interesting cos I think you can also look at it the other way that if Robert really loved Aaron (which he does completely) and knew that he was upset by his friendship with Rebecca, however innocent, then he would end it immediately. Of course he doesn't because the whole thing is plotty and will she probably end up being Aaron's good friend :sick:

You're right, :cartman: totally loves :ninja: and he doesn't want anyone else, he didn't even know what :ninja: mean't when he said "your best friend" and said she isn't my best friend when :ninja: said Rebecca.
Its all totally plotty :cartman: would finish stop talking to Rebecca if :ninja: was honest about his feelings.

We've had a few surprise viewings of them recently.
I think it would be nice for them to have a quiet Christmas with no angst as that gives all of us a very nice quiet time as well, looking forward to January:cheer::cheer::cheer:

i knew there was a reason that I stopped posting on that other place because you get one or two lines that are put in a different way in spoilers and articles and then it's all blown out of proportion and no matter how positive you try to be it just gets turned around to the worst scenario.
Surely ED will have got the message that everyone - not just Robron fans are getting tired of this Robert & Rebecca thing. Problem is that Danny and Ryan set such a high standard. I'm not getting this relationship either, much like I find the Lawrence and Ronnie one uninteresting. I liked Lawnnie at first but then I went off Lawrence :hmm:

I do wish ED would get some more up to date publicity shots done for Ryan & Danny - the one they use constantly in these mags always makes them look so miserable and annoyed looking - not the best look when it's promoting a wedding. After all our boys can look really happy together too!:D

Not a bad episode - started lovely with the boys walking through the village with Liv.
The jumpers came from Paddy!
So they deleted the boys Christmas kiss so we could have a Finn & Kasim one - lovely - not!
Sadly no mention of the fluffy hair.
Pleased we got the boys scattered throughout - Robert starting to become a Dingle - liking their drinks.
Was hoping we might get a Christmas cuddle on the way home but hopefully they are saving it for New Year! :cheer:
After a lovely Christmas Emmerdale episode - ITV went and spoiled it by showing their Christmas preview with that clip included. Think the wine is starting to kick in! :lol::rotfl:

It just shows how they brighten up any episode even if they just are sitting - not saying anything - or even just walking through into the back room of the pub. Does that make me seem really sad? absolutely agree but two gay couples maybe thought enough in one ep as there have been complaints that there are 'too many' gay couples ffs :( but I am not sure who ed think that ordinary viewers are anyway cos both my mum and gran would probably count as that and they love robron ... and not just cos of me haha :angel:

You're right. Everybody is entitled to their opinion and if you like her that's fair enough. Please do keep posting. I'm afraid I just can't change my opinion - I don't dislike her I just can't be bothered with her constantly being in Robert's orbit - they just seem to not be able to do anything with her unless he's there too. I know she's not a threat to him & Aaron and she's there to forward the insecurities sl on but I'm just getting bored with her - surely it's getting to the point that she moved on to other stories and they developed her character more. Its a shame really as when they brought Bex in she was only focused on shagging Robert and ignored the fact that Robert was in a committed relationship with Aaron. She also continued to be a walking female hormone and was delude in to thinking Robert wanted what she wanted and I think the writers have put the issues of Bex sleeping or having an affair with Robert to bed once and for all:wall:
I think Robert and Bex redefined their relationship as a platonic one, :ninja: seemed fine with :cartman: sitting with Bex in the pub recently so if I were :cartman: I would think :ninja: was OK with things and especially after Bex and :ninja: own little chat.
I think she is a foil for :cartman: making money, remember the haulage firm has a contract with Home Farm and Bex appears to be involved in HF so it seems natural that they would have to work together.
Overall, :ninja: issues need to come out and mixing Bex in along the way kind of fits but lets wait and see how much she is really involved. Over in the other place they are getting really worked up, I am not posting there when it gets like this as they get completely irrational and I would say 89% of the time they are way off the mark with whats on screen so I will post here where the happy people are.
Many may hate Bex but I believe she is not a threat to Robron, I would rather her and Robron on screen than some of the other awful story lines we have had recently.

I do too :) Let's face it, Robert does need some friends and at least she now 100% knows the score :) It's good to see that ED haven't forgotten the business side of Robert and it's even better knowing that the money he earns will be for the Mill renovations :love:

I am actually looking forward to the storyline if it means they're going to be on screen a lot although, to be fair, apart from the continuing Kerry nonsense, I've actually enjoyed watching all of the storylines and I'm certainly looking forward to the HotPierce drama that's coming up :love:

I thought we upgraded to a fluffy private jet (Air Force Robron), exclusively reserved for members of this thread:D

Rebecca no longer bothers me. People need to remember Robron are a soap couple and there will always be drama to give them something to do. I hope we get something else for Robert other than propping up the White family and being secondary to Aaron's issues all the time, he needs his own storyline centered on him.

Just wish we didn’t have what was coming next on screen with the wedding being called off in coming weeks. If these two make it to the aisle, I’ll be amazed. Rebecca is going to continue being a thorn in Robron’s side. I hate the White family. I've been told that things won't be plain sailing up to the wedding and Bex will cause trouble before the wedding :( People are starting to like her but she can't be trusted. :hmm:

i dont belive it and im on the Robron fluffy jet plane and all this Drama and angst will make our Robron much stronger in the long time and look and the bigger picture we defo get some romantic scenes im sure and jus like IM said a few months hes done the Wedding for Robron so have no fear it wil go ahead and it be so lovely and romantic:cheer::cheer::heart:

I am pretty sure it won't be a kiss except maybe a gay friends one. Whatever his problems, Aaron is a very loyal and moral person and I don't think he would ever cheat on Robert :love: There maybe some misunderstanding but actually I think it will be more about Kasim being not all he seems :searchme:

I have watched last nights episode, the Joanie arrest thing was actually quite amusing, that Kerry is a complete slapper :nono: apart from that the Emma/Family stuff I am not sure where its going really, is she going all Fatal Attraction on Leyla soon or something ???
I am looking forward to how the writers have put together this Aaron paranoia story, it will be interesting to see 4/5Jan Birthday episodes and how Aaron reacts when Robert reveals the surprise, will Aaron feel bad for doubting Robert or will he be mad for all the sneaking around, I find it hard to think he will be annoyed if it was all so Robert could surprise and make Aaron feel special and happy. I am still trusting IanM and ED to produce some good Robron for us, we may even get a Birthday kiss :D:D

Yes I am sure he did as well as he was quite flustered at that moment and even lost is wording over when/if they get married.

I was thinking what he meant was that as they are a couple what affects one of them can affect the other in a different way. IM also seemed to get a bit flustered with his words as he seemed he was about to say when they get married and said if they get married so maybe when he said troubles he just meant the trouble. I could be completely wrong - I often am! :confused:

But initially he was only talking about Aaron's trouble, all he said about Robert was about it making him want to marry Aaron sooner. Then he switched it to THEIR troubles, I suspect Robert will do something that puts him in trouble while trying to help Aaron, wouldn't be the first time after all.

Yes it all kicks off this week, I do hope we get some nice bits as well rather than constant angst and upset, I am hopeful for some great scenes starting this week with the Birthday drama.

Nice to see Aaron tonight he seemed quite happy really shames it's going to start to get to him mid week. It would have been nice to see him & Robert together before then but it looks like we won't see him until the start of this misunderstanding. It is Charity’s surprise birthday party and Chas and Rebecca decorate the pub in anticipation. Chas is excited how embarrassing it will be for Charity but when it comes to party time, the pub is virtually empty. Will the big night be a damp squib? Chas rallies to buoy her cousin united in singledom.
Cain wants Chrissie’s share in the garage or says Lachlan will pay the price. Chas is pleased to see Aaron and Robert back.
Thursday 12th January:
Robert walks in on Jimmy and Nicola in an intimate moment. He tells Jimmy to get to the yard. Jimmy dissuades Nicola from taking a look at the books but Nicola has other ideas and wants future interest in the business.
Nicola's fired up after her visit to the portakabin.
Friday 13th January:
Rebecca uses Ross to take her mind off things when Chrissie stands her up. Chrissie fumes to walk in on them. Will Chrissie and Rebecca’s makeup be short lived and are their battle lines being redrawn?
Robert arrives at the office and is unimpressed to see Nicola barking orders. But can she gain his respect?*

They are always funny scenes with :cartman: and Nicola. I'm trying to be positive with the stuff with :ninja:won't be as bad as we originally thought.
It's fun using the emojis - it lightens the thread even more. The only thing I find is it takes me longer to make a comment. :D

Actually when you use them all the time it gets a bit quicker.
Yes I am hoping the :ninja: isn't too bad but the spoilers as always will over egg the pudding in terms of the angst, lets be positive and wait and see.

Yeah the spoilers always only give out more of the angst side of things for :ninja::cartman: than all the positive bits and even though IM said about their troubles he still fit in the Wedding into the interviews so it should all work out ok:cheer:

I am looking forward to seeing more about this wedding or at least the date decision between :cartman: and :ninja: the issues before the wedding will of course be constant and annoy everyone, thats what soaps are all about. :cheer::cheer:

There's bound to be troubles right up to the Wedding - which it seems we may get to know the date, fairly soon. I'm going to try and not get too annoyed about any issues that come up as long as this thing with :cartman: & :searchme:cheating is put too rest in the very near future as this could become very tedious. :D

hiya i wonder when wil we see them talk about setting the date ? it has to be soon ? i hope we get some lovely momments and a ilttle kiss to mybe they talk about on thurs? and the kiss:cheer: mybe we get one when they come back next week they have to start to talk the date if its around march or april i really hope IM and hopefully Maxine give us some lovley along the way
