Evening All��
Hope everyone is well. I’ve been out of the ED loop a bit this week and have just kind of caught up on the two eps and have to be honest that I’ve probably missed something important as I wasn’t really paying attention as I found most of it pretty boring. I’m sure if there’s anything I should have taken notice of you lovely people on here will make sure I’m up to date.
Hope this possible stuff about PD & Ross does happen. ��

I've watched the 2 one hour episodes and have not been too impressed, with the exception of the Chas stuff. The other storylines seem to be really stretched out. They are far too tedious. I'm also finding the Emmerdale general atmosphere to be far too miserable and depressing, just like the last couple of weeks. It's not that I want 'happy, happy, happy', but I want some balance and some normal interaction of the characters. I'm not sure that I am going to sit through another hour of this tomorrow. It's too much for one week, it's a bore.

Totally agree, the Chas storyline is the only worthwhile bit at present. The Bob & Laurel stuff is just becoming childish. Think tomorrow may be another catch up later episode for me too.

Hi Don i think Bernice said in the woolpack that Rob was away sorting out a haulage contract yeah at least he`s working and being mentioned yeah just hold on in there and i think we get a lovley kiss when our Roborn comes back you see
Well that first half hour was boring. More unnecessary scenes from PD - throwing herself at Freddy was vomit making and embarrassing to watch. The Bob, Laurel, Doug and Brenda childrens playground arguments is just so boring and not funny.
Second half wasn’t any better. Why bother when the boys aren’t on?:hmm:

Hi Matty - it’s such a shame that the only interesting part of an episode is when we think we’ve heard a mention of Robert or Aaron. We can look forward to some good times when they reappear. 👍

Hi Matty - Diane is always making Jack out to be a brilliant and faultless person, she’s done this with Robert and now Doug, but he did a few things, such as the way he treated Robert as a child and covered for Andy’s mistakes a few times over Robert, that Diane should be made aware of those. It is a shame they always let Roberts birthday go unmentioned as he was born on the show and is part of the Sugden legacy family. Hopefully next year Aaron and his new family will make a big thing of it. 👍

Hi Matty - it is always the right time to watch Robron. Alex was never right for Aaron - he was just a way for him to forget Robert, which he never could. Yeah we deserve a fluffy, loving Xmas and they will be a married couple then. Let’s hope the ladies of ED who are at the top, give our boys the story’s they deserve. Cain tells a shocked Debbie that Ross wants him to hand over the garage or he'll go to the police. He tells her he isn't going to hand over the garage, and instead offers Ross joint partnership.

just caught up and really liked the matty stuff (but not much else)
think it was well done its obvs hard for matty and moira and it seemed very real for first time meeting like that
going to be interesting how their relationship develops and hope ed see it through properly rather than it all just being ok in two eps

I agree Don, the Lachlan stuff is so boring now, ED need to learn that there is a tolerance the viewers have with story lines.
I do wonder why ED cannot be more creative with some of their characters who could be interesting and well acted e.g.Brenda, Doug, Laurel all have great acting skills but for goodness sake why do they trampoline from mattress to mattress.

I think that Coronation Street's Jack P Shepherd is going to be very difficult to beat, especially as Ryan has not been on screen a great deal recently.

Unfortunately I think you are probably right. Ryan has not had a great deal of screen time lately, but hopefully people will remember all the quality scenes he has had over the past year when they are voting.
Hi Fellow Robroners looks like this Ross+Bex is leading towards Ross Exit i think and i think this whose the daddy will play a part and a DNA test will come into it and its like i said a few months ago they will get Robron playing happy familes with LIv+Seb and all of sudden wollop Rob`s the father and it`s Ross`s yeah and i this matty/hannah s/l is loking good at the start lets just hope it dont down the pan like all the other topical S/l`s ie the acid attack yeah and BTW whose the prodcuer atm ? is it IM stuff or Kate Brooks? and i do wonder if ED+the new producers will stop to much leaking stuff for the Robron Wedding yeah? its defo happening and i wonder we get much lead towards it some got to happen for that to happen

The Matty/Vic scenes are excellent. It's about time Vic was given a part in a decent story line.
Maxine never fails to deliver but I can do without the Rishi nonsense. I guess Maxine had no choice but to include that nonsense.

I'm so pleased IM has gone. He had a few goodish moments, but other than a few special episodes, he added little of value to the village and probably damaged it. Good riddance to him.
The best thing again tonight were the scenes with Matty in.
I’m sorry but Moira is really annoying me that she won’t even try to understand or try to accept that what Hannah/Matty wanted from life is his choice and that she can’t keep treating him like he is still a female. She will lose him for good if she carries on with this attitude.

Hi Matty - hope you are right about PD & Ross & possibly Seb too leaving together. I do hope there are better storylines for Robron under the new producers. I’m not really too upset if the wedding is SSW as it gives them more time to organise it properly. I think there’s a possibility that the Lachlan storyline will come to a conclusion about the same time as the wedding but hope it doesn't turn it into a joke as the boys deserve some decent happiness. IM will maybe have started off the idea of the wedding but the new producers may change it a bit if it hasn’t already been filmed. I’m sure there will be some good couple and romantic scenes between them, especially if if with any luck Maxine has a part in it.

This has now been confirmed by Eastieoaks. It all happens in week 29, which is the week beginning 16/07/18, and is featured in the pictures for that week which he has seen. Eastieoaks adds that we will find out more on and from 10/07/18 when the story embargho is lifted.

Hi eddy i totally Argee mybe this is just a warped IM mind oh lets see lets get the Fandoms Fav couple into the laclan s/l and see how the fans react to it but this lead to the downfall of laclan we know Robron are going to fine and we get this Wedding so could this the end of Laclan and Robron+Liv will be the ones to get justice for what Laclan has done and bring him down and spoliers always misleading and pics to we all have to wait and see

It was all awful, and then it went even further downhill with the appearance of Simon. All that did was remind me of the fact that the acid attack story line ended up with the guilty party being given £100,000 prize money. Such a terrible message to send out to viewers. I'm livid that Emmerdale used such a serious issue and then turned it into nonsense.

I think its pretty realistic that Moira isn’t so accepting of Matty straight away and it will be interesting seeing her come to accept and love him as I’m sure she will with Cain persuading her :confused:
Same with Charity and Ryan cos something will happen to him and she will go and say sorry but he wont be interested but then maybe he will change his mind perhaps with his adopted mum encouraging him :searchme:

Well the second half wasn’t much better. They seem to have just completely lost the plot with this Amelia abduction story now - why the heck is she lying that he was involved? I’m completely lost as to what was the point of this whole storyline.

I would have thought that the usual thing would have been for each person involved to have been interviewed separately for their sides of the story.:hmm:

Totally agree. Let’s hope things improve later in the year when the new team are in charge. I do feel for the cast of Corrie, dear knows what they are going to be given to do!

agree and think the new team will want to change things a bit to show they not the same
might be nice instead of thinking they have to have constant mad plots beyond belief they let us see more of the charecters interacting with other

Hi Fellow Robroners last nights ep was a joke the police on ED are getting worse its making the real police look like idoits they had all the edvinace from Daz about halamond 2009 on amilas computer and the Stufff Daz told them and they still not doing nothing only making out its Daz all along and nowamailas said it was Daz they think ah case closed the proper police would look into Daz about what happened in 2009 like Daz told them and would lean that he had a daughter yeah and would start looking there

I reckon Oct for the wedding. I think they will use the excuse of change of producers. I think ED is fab at the mo, best it's ever been (minus Daz/Dan SL and David trash). Loving the new casting of James and Ash, there's so much potential in those two characters. I even love the Bobel SL as some comic relief. :moonie:

Summer always seems to be a low point for Robron with stuff gearing up towards the end of the year... something to look forward to on those dark winter nights :D

It’s nice that he is keen to interact with the fans and give his points of view. You’re right it’s a shame he has been given such mediocre storylines, but at least I suppose the bonus is that he gets to spend more time with his real life partner Laura/Kerry. 👍

Hi - they were supposed to be this week but not sure when - maybe it will be Thursday and Friday and we get more of them in each episode they are in. ❤️The Matty & Ryan stories are definetl worth watching | hope they keep it that way.

I see Aaron is getting chickenpox. Hope it's not serious. My hubby got it a few years back, ended up in ICU and almost died. It can be so bad in adults :(

I wonder who came up with that one? Surely that will be rather dangerous for him being in the same house as Seb. It can cause other more serious illnesses if I remember correctly. I think that giving the chickenpox to Aaron is being used to explain why he will not be appearing in scenes with Chas who is pregnant. As someone with chickenpox he will have to stay quaranteed at home.

So one minute they are short of money and then suddenly they go from Scotland to Malta (which I’m sure won’t be cheap] and now there will be medical expenses for Aaron being in hospital. I wish I had that magic money pit that ED gives the boys now and again.
Liv looking really nice and Robert/Ryan looking lovely and tanned already and that’s before this last trip. It is good to see them again, just a shame that Aaron is still missing. :heart:

Well I caught up with it - sort of!
So we can see Chas having a phone call with Aaron in Malta but nothing between him and his husband,
Amelia has turned into another child brat. A bit like April who has grown out of the cute child stage to annoying.
I’m confused why Faith has such a thing against Doug - what has it got to do with her? I actually used to like her character but I think they are wasting and spoiling her now.
To much Bob & Laurel stuff still - not interested, Don’t know what they said as I ffwd through there scenes as I find it all so boring now.
Will they please stop trying to push Jesse and Marlon together it just doesn’t work.

Pretty boring couple of episodes really apart from the brief Robert appearances.

I totally agree.
It was a good episode tonight, with many fine performances from most of the players. However, as I have said before, all the storylines are 'serious' and very depressing. Emmerdale needs balance, with more normal character interactions. Not comedic rubbish, with middle aged men showing us their bottoms, but light and normal stuff.
And Emmerdale now need to get rid of Debbie. No matter what story they give her, she can't be forgiven for her role in the acid attack. IM ruined her character, just like he ruined several others. She needs to go to prison for a long time.

At least we got a few seconds viewing of Aaron - even if it was just on a video. It would have been good to see him chatting with Robert - maybe that will happen next week when the Wedding is called off. I wouldn’t have thought she’d be able to fly on her own either but I suppose they maybe have different rules in some countries. I think maybe the thing between Lachlan, Liv & Robert maybe does start up next week. Hope it doesn’t take too long for then to bring this story to a close, it’s dragging now. Let’s hope for many hugs and kisses when Aaron eventually comes home. 👍🏼❤️

Does Rebecca actually find Liv and Robert? Or is she seen by Lachaln going to find them who then stops her? Does Lachlan knock her out before she gets there? Perhaps I didn't read the magazine articles closely enough but I don't think it's clear what will happen.

That’s probably what will happen. It’s just me with this red mist that comes down when I see Robert & PD being mentioned in the same scene. The good thing about all this is that at last Lachlans story is maybe starting to come to a climax. Surely they can’t drag this on until SSW now. I’m sure Liv & Robert will act these scenes brilliantly - even if he’s unconscious Ryan will do great in the scene and Liv is just getting better and better.

What's Lachlan up to? This spoiler follows on from the magazine scans posted earlier. So where is Rebecca? I assume that Lachlan has kidnapped her or worse.

Hi Don and Aaron returns sometime on tuesday yeah and Aaron will save his true Love and mybe all this ties in with a spolier saying one half of Robron talks to there sibling about a propsaul and lets all stay calm our Robron will be just fine and ROB+Liv will be safe its just IM again always gives our Robron alot more Drama then any other couple on EDso come on the new team at ed Kate Brooks and everybody give our Robron a break and give them some happy s/l`s starting withe there Wedding

I’m sure Aaron will be the one to save his man and his Sister. I do think it will be him to make the proposal of marriage this time. They won’t kill off Robert or Liv - that would just cause a riot and not just from Robron fans. I agree. We need some interviews from the new team. A few ideas about which way they are going, that sort of thing. :)
Hi good ep so far and very touching good too see our Rob+Liv in the woolie so Chas+Paddy just did there wedding just like Robron did last year that was just great and mybe we get to see our Robron planning there wedding and we have a proper to wedding forward to and im sure ED will give us that just to keep us onside and we wil see a romantic Robron too:heart::heart:
