HI Don i argee 1 ep on frid saying about the ONS years ago and tonight talk about about a DNA why didnt we get that from the start with PD and Rob about Seb mybe because IM talked aboy Robron having a baby and this was the way IM clumsy way of giving Robron that baby but mybe there`s a twist naybe something happens to baby Seb and Rob`s not a match yeah but it seems our Maxine is really lookung forward to the new prodcuers yeah and she`s worked with most of them yeah and mybe we could get some good Robron to come yeah so i wonder if we get thge Robron in the summer or wait until the produders to do it but i think it could be already written yeah and mybe IM could do the wedding as his last thing before he goes

- Utter tripe. But Robert couldn't demand one. Out of character writing for the plot. For the LGBT baby to be gifted. And unhealty message to send out condoms are always effective. God hopes new heads at the top can create better stories and less plot holes.
- Can we please get a DNA test for Seb? Now we know they exist in emmerdale. I'm okay with either outcome, but all this not knowing for more than a year now is making me lose a bit of faith with the show. Rebecca cannot know through wishful thinking who the dad is.

But, but, but ... 80% of that episode was for Frank/Megan story, with everything else, including Aaron/Robert/Liv sharing the 20%. Not good enough. :mad:

The up side of this episode was the appearances of our boys and Liv, it was lovely seeing Liv cuddle both the boys - they were small scenes but they were a lot better to view than some of the other ones. The boys looking good as well.:heart::love:

Hi Matty - that would be something positive to remember IM if we get the wedding before he leaves and as you say hopefully Maxine writes it and we’ll get some lovely scenes to make up for a lot of the rubbish our boys have had to put up with over the months. It does appear that the new producer is going to be ok and will maybe put right some of the things that haven’t worked, including getting rid of some of the characters that haven’t gone down too well and that our boys will get some better storylines. We can but hope. :cheer:

A good episode. Liv was very harsh on poor Aaron. Reminds me of Robert's visit to Aaron in prison when harsh things were said. It's 'rinse and repeat' but never mind as the scene was excellent. Superb acting from all the players.
Some good scenes with Roblivion there. Do think Liv was too harsh in blaming Aaron for everything though, especially for him being responsible for making Robert sleep with PD.
ED really are trying their best to relieve PD of any blame at all on this ONS and turn her nto the badly done to used victim, I’m sorry but there never will be any sympathy or compassion for her coming from me.:nono:
The thing I don’t like is the way they have yet again done a repeat of a scene from Aaron’s prison time, when he told Robert he dodn’t want to see him again. :wall:
Lovely to seee Robert standing up for and protecting his man - he knows so well that he’ll have to keep a close eye on him after all that Liv threw at him. :heart:
This Frank, Megan & Graham stuff is boring.
Have to say I did enjoy the scenes with Joe & Noah - he actually did seem quite genuinely sorry, just a shame he’s going to pair up with Debbie again.
The boys did look good through all their scenes - hope we see some comforting scenes in the next half. :love:

Hi Micheal i argee i was expecting a hug to and the way sorted it like Aaron brought ONS and Seb that was harsh yeah but they came back cleared it up a hug would be lovley but now they are togther and working stuff out is a great step forward and Liv with all what she saying is just Rinse and repeat like Aaron told last year yeah but lest Liv knows Aaron+Rob are togther and a stable home life when she comes back home

Some more good scenes with our boys. So pleased they didn’t end their appearance tonight with Aaron lashing out at Robert. A hug in that final scene would have been good but at least they sat down next to each other and talked through it and agreed to work through it together, they have come so far - a true partnership. Those two talking together are pure gold and make it worth while sitting through all the other rubbish that goes on.:heart::love:

Emmerdale tweets ... Liv tells Aaron and Robert some hard to swallow truths and are they to blame for her problems?
Here are a few of the replies:
- Aaron’s done everything he can for liv, he didn’t have to take her in but he did. She never takes responsibility for her actions and just drinks through her problems it’s not his fault
- Um when is Liv going to take responsibility for her own actions? The whole blaming someone else cause she doesn't make the right choices is getting old. On a side note Danny and Isobel did a phenomenal job w/this scene. The look on Aaron's face is heartbreaking.
- Who gets knocked up this time????
- Typical blaming the ONS on Aaron even tho he had a right to be hurt. Truths my....he is the only one who actually gives a damn about Liv not even her mom..the disrespect for the Aaron character is getting ridiculous.
- When are we gonna get an apology from the Saint one AKA Becky ? I mean she is the one responsible for all this mess. She took advantage of Robert and nobody will tell me otherwise.
- So will aaron hit a bottle of whisky now and meet Rebecca’s uterus for open business???
- I don't really care. What is bothering me is the way Ryan and Danny are clearly being directed to maintain a 5ft distance from each other, like they're saying "no homo bros!" You do remember they're married, right?
- Maybe if they showed affection Liv would be more happy. Just saying.
- No all blame rests solely on the shoulders of the writers of this decrepit storyline.

It is very mixed up! I know it isn’t illegal but the relationship just feels wrong. I’d hate to be a child from that pairing and have my family connections explained to me. :(

I always thought that it was supposed to end with the cabin and Robert tieing Aaron to the central heating radiator. But, either way, I'm pleased it was changed. :)
PS - I agree about IM. I can't stand the man anymore.
Morning fellow Robroners have you seen the summer previews in the metro today? so it sounds like we will be getting a Robron wedding this summer yeah and lets hope we get some lovley momments and get some build up to it like planing yeah so lets all stay postive we will be getting lovley scenes and hugs a some kisses which are missing atm but i think they are building Robron as secure family unit like since the reunion i think thats what are doing being togther talking things through togther so hold in there weve got a great wedding coming soon

yea that's right I sure I read it was actually ryan who said kate had told him that the day he started filming

I have just watched the Christmas Day episode again, some months after the event I really think it was a masterpiece of television, amazing visuals and everyones acting was on point, well, worth another watch if your in the mood and even more enjoyable in the knowledge that Robron are together and solid.

It does appear likely. I do hope he’s not involved in the B&B stuff - we don’t want another possible death experience so close to the reunion. I know it’s not real but having Aaron involved in some way in all these types of events is too much, there are plenty of other people in the village that could be included in these dramas. It does seem we get the boys a few times next week which is good. It was so good to see him involved at Chas & Paddy’s party. Robert will make sure Aaron is ok if he’s not there soon. Maybe it’s too obvious that it’s Doug he hardly ever does articles in magazines - perhaps that’s to throw us off the scent and it’s someone we never thought of. I too hope they don’t repeat that SSW scene. Not long to wait now with any luck. We know our boys will be ok though. :love:

you might recognise Ryan as he was on two tv shows at same time a few years ago Voice of Ireland and Britain Got Talent.
As it got to the live shows he had to pick one and chose the English one

I agree she has been good - but have to say her on screen partner Vanessa has really annoyed me lately, with her lack of compassion for Charity’s past. I do feel that this past abuse story has not been done as well as the Aaron case and that’s not just because of the chemistry and acting skills of Ryan & Danny.

Well I’ve watched recording of tonight and ffwd through all but the Charity scenes so can’t comment on anything but that. The acting was good on there - it seems a bit too final that there is no son - there must be more to this. Is it possible that Charity was maybe led to believe when she was so young that the child hadn’t survived and was actually taken for adoption and he will appear - or am I overthinking this? :hmm:

I think that Charity lied about her son in order to get Harriet to drop the subject. The reality is very different as we have already been spoilered.

A disappointing 2 episodes. Really padded out by the Brenda/Bob/Laurel stuff. Clearly insufficient material for 6 episodes across the week. I was hoping that Brenda's revenge would be more spectacular than that.
On the plus side, I loved the Doug/Gerry scenes and I'm still finding the Charity story interesting.

I know we haven’t had seen them being touchy feely for a while but that doesn’t mean they’ve given up on them. Really the situations they’ve been in lately haven't warranted a lot of touching etc. They are showing their love and devotion to each other by support and help, more than some of the other couples.. When the time is right they will show the real affection that is needed for that situation.:heart::love: I don’t think Aaron will be in danger next week, as you say I think it’s more likely Gerry or Doug - I actually think it’s probably Gerry which is a shame as he has developed a good character in the time he’s been there and he’s been in scenes with lots of other members of the cast too.

Yes, it's just the programme that is nominated for a soapy drama category (not sure what BAFTA officially call it). There is nothing to stop an actor, actress or member of the production team to go and win in another category. However, they will be up against anyone from anywhere else involved on British TV and nominated for a particular category.

I’ve obviously missed loads of episodes of ED - because when did it happen that Lachlan has been so supportive of PD & been looking out for her so much that if he hadn’t been there for her she wouldn’t have coped? I don’t think there’s any of us want Gerry to die, he’s such a good character, much better than some they insist on keeping around.:(
Tonight shows you should not judge things straight away - at first it looked like Aaron has just gone off without telling Robert what was going on with Liv but then in the next scene he knew all about it as they’d talked off screen either in person or by phone. That is what’s called communicating, which is what they do now.:heart::cheer:
Paddy redeeming himself again by saying to Robert where’s your betrothed? A nice touch I thought and him and Robert having a civilised conversation afterwards.:thumbsup:

I do agree with what you are saying about not jumping to conclusions. The fandom needs to learn to be patient.
Very, very sorry that Emmerdale decided to get rid of Gerry. He was like a breath of fresh air in Emmerdale, completely unique. :mad:
I'm also sorry and very annoyed that Emmerdale spoilt all this for us. I was hoping for a surprise twist but it all went as the spoilers strongly suggested it would. Spoilers are meant to tease an audience into staying engaged and interested. They are not meant to, more or less, tell the story in advance. What's the point of doing that? What's the point of our bothering to watch if we already know nearly everything?
As I said, I'm very annoyed.

Unfortunately someone rang me just as the second half started and has only just gone off so I’ve had to watch with subtitles. I am annoyed like you that there was no element of surprise in there at all. It was obvious from the beginning what was going to happen. I do feel they have done the wrong thing killing Gerry off and only hope that this is not going to drag on for months and months as Lachlan has now reached his sell by date along with his Auntie and are not an asset to the programme anymore.:angry:
The good thing was that there did seem to be some good scenes with the boys and I will have to watch it again if only to enjoy their scenes more.:heart:
