As you know I am not a PD fan :rotfl:but the scenes may actually have been more bearable if they had been done as a two hander episode focusing on PD & Lachlan alone.
It goes without saying that anything involving Robron should be focused into an episode including only them. :heart::love::love:
I've read that there was so much that they wanted to put into tonight's episode, that they cut the Rodney/Misty stuff. I'm heartbroken at that. :cheer:

That is such a shame. 🙄 There’s quite a few of their previous scenes wouldn’t have been missed if they’d been cut, I actually feel sorry for Patrick Mower with some of the rubbish he’s been given to do and he’s such a good actor really. 😐
A thought. :hmm:I find it quite funny that Vic has never been seen to make one comment about PD missing or not being around and they do actually live in the same house. Then again I suppose that was irrelevant to the plot so why would she?:eek:

I’d like to think that’s why there’s been a slow build up to these proposals because we get more impact of romantic, meaningful scenes with them next week at the spot where it all began. Hopefully it won’t be interrupted by any unnecessary characters.:heart:
I was thinking the same, that we haven’t seen Micheal for a while. I do hope he’s ok and maybe it’s just that he’s away on holiday or something. Hopefully he’ll drop in at some time this week.

I liked last nights episode, very short Robron scenes and so lovely that ED are written them mirroring each others proposal ideas showing they are completely suited and right for each other, they are truly in love :heart::heart::heart:

• Rebecca was listed as a ‘past’ resident of Keeper’s Cottage with only Vic being the only resident now.

I think it's likely that Rebecca will leave with Ross. The question remains if they will leave with baby Sebastian or not. There are also other possibilities. For example, could Rebecca end up killing Lachlan when she escapes? If something like that were to happen then would prison be her next home?
I suspect that we will find out a little bit more when the spoilers come out on Monday and Tuesday of this coming week. Roll on tomorrow night.

i thought the proposal would be friday but loved how they both were and looking forward to tonite be great to see how they both get the other to the layby :love:

I really want to see the proposals tonight but I’m not going to watch it until the whole programme is over so that I can appreciate the quality moments and by pass any unwanted ones that may have got in the way.
Don’t know what anybody else said or did in that episode as I FFWD all scenes except the ones that involved Robron. It was just lovely the way that was done. The boys are so in sync with each other and say exactly the right things and it contained just the right amount and quality of romantic and personal contact. A perfect episode. So pleased I went down the record and miss out other bits route. Nobody comes close to our boys.:cheer::wub::heart::love:💋💋
That was lovely. I liked the fact that the Robron scenes were understated, almost 'matter of fact'. It was perfect without the OTT romance sloppiness. I liked the gentle comedy of the scene in the lay-by. :love:
We waited a long time for all that, perhaps a little too long, but it was worth it. :)

That did sound as though she was still considered missing rather than in a named place. I don’t know what was said in the PD scenes that may have given some indication as to what may be going to happen as I didn’t watch them. Foreshadowing maybe? :hmm:

Hi Fellow Robroners just caught up from lastnight i missed it was working late but it was great and we had 2 lovely kisses to and they both said will you marry me at the same time and in the pub was great to and and Rob said about we adopt Seb he said yeah i skipped passed Bex and Laclan this s/l os boring and way OTT and some think we could get some more lovely Roborn scenes again tonight i wonder if Caroline Mitchel who wrot lastnights ep had a few tips from our very own Maxine on how to do some lines

There were some lovely scenes and that writer was so like Maxine in her style of writing for the boys it was spot on. Eddy has already said there’s going to be a bit more chat from the boys tonight so that should be good. I’ll do the same as last night and not watch live but watch it afterwards so it could be a bit later before I pass any comments, but if it’s anything like last night it will be worth the wait. :heart::wub:

Graham is one of the best new characters we've had in a long time. I would like to see him spending a lot more time in the village where, unlike Joe Tate, he works really well with the other characters. However he's not been in Emmerdale long enough for me to care a great deal about his back story. Enough already.

Hi Eddy i argee he is really enjoyed the Robron scenes lovely romatic kisses on the sofa but more PD stuff my guess Laclan put i did it in te book yeahlike you said it might be this laclan stuff could be sorted out in SSW2018 which would be a drag and going on to long and could this be what Ryan mentioned that Laclan be that Drama ahead for the wedding

I like tonights episode especially the beginning Robron stuff, the engagement party is rather random but they generally are when arranged at the last moment. I don't mind the PD book stuff but it is dragging out a bit as PD is such a boring character and badly acted but I like Lachlan.
Overall, nice to see the boys together and happy ..... why did Aaron pop the cushion on to his lap ????

Why leave? You can just put anyone that you do not like on 'ignore' and then you can't see their posts. That's what I do. It works well.

Have just caught up with tonight’s ep and have to say I only watched the bits with the boys in. Liked the bits before and after the party. The party was ok and it was good to see everyone celebrating for Robron (and sorry to sound like a broken record again guys) but I felt there was too much about PD again during it. Was it absolutely essential for that to be included at that time. It is just so annoying that our boys can not get any time when the focus is on them and not have to be overladen with White stuff. As far as I am aware a child regardless of age is legally supposed to have a passport before they leave the country. Maybe Seb’s passport was obtained when they were planning to run off to Australia.:hmm:

Hi Don these last 2 eps of Robron were great and really good and interacting like a prorper couple yeah and it looks like we will still making plans and organsing thw wedding and it was lovley that Rob asked Vic to be best woman and Aaron asked Liv to be best woman yeah i would like a good twist would be Adam to come back and give Aaron away and Andy to come back for to give Rob away but both are on the run so it be a difficult and both actors Adama Thomas and Keliven Feltcter would love to back but not yet

Does this mean that perhaps this is going to come to a climax before SSW - depends how far ahead they are filming I suppose?

I suppose this was bound to happen in the initial period if he’s been imprisoned but even then Robert is still attached in some way to The Whites. This is probably just speculation too so I shouldn’t really comment until it’s actually seen on screen.:hmm:
Hi Don these last 2 eps of Robron were great and really good and interacting like a prorper couple yeah and it looks like we will still making plans and organsing thw wedding and it was lovley that Rob asked Vic to be best woman and Aaron asked Liv to be best woman yeah i would like a good twist would be Adam to come back and give Aaron away and Andy to come back for to give Rob away but both are on the run so it be a difficult and both actors Adama Thomas and Keliven Feltcter would love to back but not yet
Hi Matty - they were very good eps and it really showed them as an in love partnership and not just a couple of mates who live together. That would be good if Adam & Andy we’re to return but I don’t think there’s much chance of that. I did like that the two sisters got asked to be best person. It sure looks like this wedding is going to be planned out properly this time which is great and is something to look forward too.:heart:
I feel very uncomfortable about this Joe and Graham story line. Partly because I don't really understand it, but also I feel there's a 'bad taste' element to it. Once again, Emmerdale makes the victim (Joe) appear to be the one that is in the wrong. Whilst portraying a violent thug (Graham) as the relatively innocent one by the end of tonight's episode.

A bit of a bore tonight. When it's not boring, it's just depressing. As I've said many times, Emmerdale needs to lighten up. At the moment the balance is very wrong.

Thanks for your review Eddy. I watched it, missing out the Borel stuff, but as you say it was ok but sad. :(I know Faith means well, but she does tend to go a bit OTT sometimes, not every occasion needs a Dingle booze up. :nono:
Apart from a few Aaron scenes next week it looks like we’re in for a Robron drought for a short while :thumbsdow and there will be a lot of skipping through next weeks eps.
Have to say I do think that the lad that plays Samson has turned into a good young actor. He could give some of the grown ups a few pointers.👍

I really enjoyed the Aaron and Robert sofa scene. It was one of the best scenes of theirs in a long time. It was perfect!
One thing has bothered me though. There was a brief scene of Aaron looking doubtful over adopting Seb.
Was that just for effect before Aaron reassured Robert or will we see that doubt again?

Have only just caught up with it and have to be honest the only scenes I actually stopped and watched were the Aaron, Liv & Dingle ones. Some nice but sad at times family scenes, shame Robert wasn’t there but then again a lot of the other familyy members were missing too. Didn’t watch any of the other scenes so can’t make a comment.

It was very sad but I liked the scene with Chas, Laurel and Paddy. It was very well acted and was very moving. I was pleased to see Emmerdale remember it's history for a change.

Am I the only one that finds Rishi scenes difficult to watch - he always seems to come across as a bit of a joke, OTT character - who seems permanently obsessed with romantic liaisons. :thumbsdow

I haven’t seen that article. As you say there would be a uproar from the fandom if that happened. The only worrying thing is that could IM be so cruel to kill one of them off as his parting shot and leave us with PD. Surely not, don’t think he would have ever got away with it. I agree that Roblivion will be the ones to bring down Lachlan in the end. I only hope this all happens before the wedding as Robron deserve a drama free event for at least once in their lives. I think that Rebecca is alive and well. However, I am not paying too much attention to the whole nonsense because I refuse to get into the silly games Emmerdale likes to play with us. Also, I'm bored with it.
The very good news is that IM's terrible influence on the show will run out in a few short weeks time. Then the new team's efforts will gradually filter through to our screens. I am certain that things will improve, if only because it would be very difficult for anyone to be worse than IM.

Hi - unfortunately I think you’re right about PD - I too am bored with all this, it’s just repeating things over and over again with no real end to it.
Let’s be hopeful that this whole rubbish storylining in general is sorted out when the new team take over. I can imagine there won’t be major celebrations about ED winning the BSA this year as not only Robron fans have been fed up with the show. As you say it would be difficult for someone to come in and make it worse - I do feel sorry for Corrie - wonder what they’ve let theirselves in for?:rolleyes:

They think that he just made a mistake in posting something that is under embargo and is desperately attempting to correct his error.

They were good Aaron & Seb scenes - the look Lily gives him and also Robert is so natural - much better than when she’s in scenes with PD. Strangely it seems that Robron are just accepting looking permanently after Seb with no question or wanting to get in touch with PD at all.:hmm:
Those scenes were the only ones I really watched properly. David is like a love sick puppy whenever that woman appears and was it really necessary that bed scene? :sick: As you say we never see a Robron scene like that. :mad:

I know. It's become very bad and it needs to stop as it is so unrealistic and it makes a story far more difficult to believe. On many occasions, they even have members of the same family ignoring each other.

I’d never really thought of that before Eddy, but you are right about members of the same family ignoring each other, even if they just acknowledged their presence it would be something, they don’t need to have long drawn out conversations.

I don’t wish any child illl health but I’m afraid I’m finding it rather hard to have a tremendous amount of sympathy for this current health scare. Maybe I’m wrong but is Sarah actually at an age where she can make the decision wether to have the operation or not, is she not still too young?
That woman of David’s is just horrible - I do hope she does something really terrible to upset him as she has no self respect or decency and he deserves anything that’s coming to him. Try keeping things in your pants would be a good thing David and care more for your family members.

Thanks, I thought she under the age of being able to make the final decision herself - I appreciate she is entitled to an opinion to express her feelings but surely they can’t stop the operation just on her say so?
Awful episode, very boring. I don't mind young Sarah, it's Debbie that I can no longer watch. I can't stand Debbie and her sour face in whatever story she is in and no matter which other players are sharing her scenes.
Enjoyed Zac's scenes. He's always been one of my favourites. And it's good to see Jacob back, though I don't like the story he is featuring in with David and the doctor's wife.
That leaves Frank and Megan, characters that are played by 2 of Emmerdale's best actors. However, I hate their story. Those 2 fine actors deserve something far better than that.

I wasn’t nasty I just felt the need to say something, as I feel this building up of the character going and then her coming back again and again is just becoming incredibly boring and repetitive especially as the character doesn’t seem to have ever had any real strong purpose in the programme. I do hope you are right that she won’t be around that much longer.
I saw your post about the new Producers name on the credits - never noticed that. As you say we’ll still have some of IM’s stuff for a while but the new ones will give us the good Robron stuff too and even a bit of drama which can’t be any worse than some of the stuff we’ve had to put up with lately. It will be well worth the wait.

Didn’t watch the episode live tonight and have to say I only actually watched the Chas & Paddy bits and maybe it’s because I wasn’t really concentrating but I was a bit confused what the bit with them in the back room after the phone call was about - even rewatching it again I still didn’t quite understand what Paddy was talking about - it felt like something had been missed out from before that or I’m just being incredibly dim!:confused:

It is surely very bad publicity to show something like that at this time when they are still building up speculation as to wether the character is actually alive or dead. I do not like the character (and sorry but I can’t see that changing) but I actually feel quite sorry for EH with the negative response there has been towards her being seen in a photograph. Hopefully this has been a misunderstanding and the photograph is not from as recent as people are being led to believe.

I do not like the character (and sorry but I can’t see that changing) but I actually feel quite sorry for EH with the negative response there has been towards her being seen in a photograph. Hopefully this has been a misunderstanding and the photograph is not from as recent as people are being led to believe.
Hi Don i think the Photo was a early one and Anthony Head did have a photo taken when Emily started first yeah you see Don im not to bothered with PD TBH i think she be gone soon enough anyway so come on fans lets all stay postive weve got a Roborn wedding to look forward to and its planning and that pic with our Rob in his waistcoat something must happen to have that pic spolier in the first place right you dont round in that sort of Dress sense for everyday where so mybe they do get the exam results but a bit late yeah

Hi Matty - I hope you’re right about that photo being earlier than we think. It’s just the fact that they keep dragging out her appearances and exits that get me - I just wish they’d make their mind up if she was staying or going and then we’d know where we stand.
That waistcoat and tie is definetly not usual going to a meeting type of clothing. Maybe it’s a sample outfit for their wedding to see what Aaron thinks about it. They are probably pre occupied and that’s why they’ve forgotten about the results. :rolleyes:

An awful week's worth of episodes. One of the worst ones ever. There were few exceptions, like the brilliantly performed Chas/Paddy scenes but the rest was very rubbishy.
Apart from hopefully that being the end of Beth & Amelia stuff being brought to an end that was a pretty bad episode.
How many Mothers would ask their child what they got up to on their date night? Someone wants to tell Moira that there’s a fine line between taking an interest in your child’s life and being a bit too intrusive and making people feel uncomfortable. :hmm:

You’re right Robert will be ok and Roblivion will get him. That was Belle running away from him - hope that doesn’t mean it’s her that gets shot. It will be interesting to see what they have as the main storyline for SSW.
