Actually it's quite hard for me to come up with a song which the boys wouldn't find too soppy, I'm mainly thinking of Aaron here. Funny thing is Robert was the one not willing to admit he was Bisexual for ages & come out, but it's Aaron who is the one who really gets easily embarrassed, just look at his reaction to Charity walking in on them in the shower which Rob teased him about a few weeks back. :wub:

If that happened in public I don't think Aaron would know where to look, In private, Aaron would have probably said he was being soft or maybe had something to drink. Actually, seeing a drunk Robert is something I'd love to see again too, he was so adorable last time he got hammered & Aaron rescued him a few months back!! :lol:

Hi - I was beginning to wonder if everyone had disappeared to somewhere else but I guess as there's not much new at the minute we're all being quiet.
As far as the schedule I've made for myself shows - Aaron is on Thursday & Friday, Robert is on Thursday.
Following week -Aaron on all week & Robert on Thursday, Friday. 😀

Well as its so quiet here I just thought I would say how excellent I thought last week was, I know we get more angst but I think its lovely how the writers seem to be treating Robron with respect as a solid couple and multiple writers seemed to do a pretty good job at the consistency thing that was a little frustrating before.
Isn't it funny when things pop in to your head, I passed an Indian restaurant yesterday and the first thing I thought of was Robert saying "I like my curry cool" it made me chuckle especially with Aaron's face and comments after he said it. :clap:

Yeah, all things considered last week was actually a good set of episodes. I feel pretty positive that there isn't going to be anymore attempts by she who won't be named to try anything more with Robert - I feel the next few weeks they are actually going to turn the corner with her character - I hope I'm right! 😀

You're not sad .... it is quiet isn't it but we pretty much know whats coming up to Christmas with Robron and then its ????? over the festive period as to whether they are going to be around. January is looking pretty good screen time wise for them which is exciting for a dull month :D:D
It's actually good when they have blocks where we see them a lot and then there's a bit of a lull as it makes their next appearances all the more worth it. After all next year we've got the build up to the wedding to look forward to. :cheer:

Robron will always have angst so it's a good job we can handle it. I'd like a bit more family dinner type stuff, one with the Sugdens would be nice. I don't mind angst but I hate the repetitive nature of it sometimes. I think a nice blend of domestic scenes and some drama (not always about their relationship) are ideal otherwise it gets very monotonous which we do not want, Ryan and Danny can deliver comedy/angst and drama and their relationship is so strong ED can now capitalise on this, if they are clever the next 3-4 months should be brilliant for Robron :cheer::cheer::cheer:

Yeah, you did hear it right. I think they were just talking generally as there's been a few weddings that didn't actually happen in their family. After all Chas & Charity don't have the best track record for keeping their partners/spouses. I also thing it was another comment just to try and change Belles mind about moving to Boston. 😀

Emmerdale star Danny Miller has explained the latest drama Robron will face over the festive season, and also teased what lies ahead for them in the New Year.
Although the couple have happier times to look forward to now they are engaged, Aaron and Robert will hit the rocks again next week when Rebecca White continues to cause trouble.
As Aaron grows increasingly suspicious that something is going on between the pair, he will eventually take shock action against Rebecca and her family after she pushes him one step too far.
Explaining what's behind Aaron's paranoia, Danny said: "He's in a tough place because this is a character who is insecure with pretty much everything that happens in today's world. This is just another thing that adds to it.
"They have this young, blonde, attractive girl who has loads of money, business sense and history with Robert. It becomes more about those two than Aaron and Robert, in Aaron's eyes. Aaron is covered in jealousy because he has never been in this situation.
"If it was a boy, he wouldn't be worried because Robert wouldn't turn an eye to another lad. But because it's a girl, there is always that chance that she can offer him something that Aaron can't.
"What everyone forgets as well is that regardless of the fact they are in love, and regardless of the fact that Robert was there for him through the darkest time of his life, Aaron fell in love with Robert during an affair. So because of that, he thinks Robert will never fully be happy with him."
Fans will have to see whether Robron can work through their latest woes, but one thing is for sure - they will be tying the knot in 2017.
But are there happy times ahead for the popular duo? It is Soapland after all...

I think they will work through this, they I believe they are far too strong as a couple and Robert simply wouldn't let Aaron do this I would hope he would get to the bottom of any issues Aaron has (yes he should know its Rebecca related) and sort it out.

Yeah I think you're right and even if they were to separate for a while (which I don't believe they will) Robert wouldn't just leave him on his own as he knows from the past what Aaron is capable of doing when things get too much for him.
This stuff with Rebecca has to come to a conclusion sooner rather than later - because having her as a thorn in their side for too long will become monotonous and boring after a while.
I know there has to be angst now and again as permanently fluffy would lead to never seeing them appear at all.

I'd like to think it was the holiday - a romantic one for the two of them. Maybe a new 🚗.car! The deposit on the Mill would be good - it would also show how committed Robert is to them.

You could be right about Bex - if they start developing her character in other ways.
I know this is totally irrelevant and I have mentioned it before but I do find it odd that the ITV Xmas promo is still being shown with all the same bits but the clip with R&R is no longer there it has been replaced with a differnt ED scene altogether. Just a bit of idle observation!!😀

I think they realised it was not appropriate and it was upsetting the fanbase when really the Xmas promo should be happy and jolly NOT annoying people.

I'm optimistic as anything. Screen time is screen time, so I'll go with whatever is on offer plus how much did people panic about that last week where Aaron found out about the kiss and it turned out to be really positive for Robron. I'll keep an open mind but love speculating. :D

Loads of people on there do, but most want to stay over there, which is fair enough. We never started this forum as competition anyway, it was just somewhere to post positive thoughts about our fave ship. There's enough depressing things going on in the world so why would we want to spend our time posting about constantly negative things.

Yes seen this, also spotted someone mentioned that Aaron in the scrapyard with Adam is wearing his engagement ring and they are filming Mid-February so seems Robron are still together. Bumpy ride to come but I get the feeling its going to be really emotional, the brilliant reviews Emmerdale have had bringing Robron together must give them encouragement to keep them together even with occasional angst. :cheer::cheer::cheer:

Also if he's meant to have spent 400k on the haulage firm then he could get a mortgage based on that and he'd have a 100k deposit too.....

Hiya, I do worry that Aaron will have handed Rebecca some ammunition to use against him if & when she feels like it with tomorrow's robbery. She's the extra wheel that Aaron would like to get a flat elsewhere & not be near them, while Rob thinks she's no threat & is a misunderstood lovely girl from his past friendship with her.

TBH I'm not even sure how much money Liv is supposed to have since Aaron did not want his share. In law she should have his share too since he rejected it but Emmerdale have never cleared that up. I always thought Robert nearly spent the whole lot on the Haulage Business, Emmerdale obviously haven't gone into how much money he actually has right now & that he might be able to get a mortgage. :)

I took the mirror thing to be a way of fuelling Bex's suspicions that he's guilty of the break in. I don't think she knew about Gordon.

Oh yeah Robert is definitely being written as naïve for the purpose of this plot. Whether it's so he can be taken in by Rebecca and fooled or whether he's just being like this to fuel Aaron's paranoia and insecurities we don't know yet.

Yeah the Mill was originally £330,000 when Jimmy sold it, I think. It'll probably only sell for £200-250k now, but the build costs could be that amount again, so half a million. It will pay off in the end if they sell two flats on.
Plus maybe they can't get a mortgage due to fire damage and dry rot. Some auction properties are auctioned for the reason of attracting cash buyers
Just looked - dereliction and extensive dry rot would make a mortgage unlikely

Aaron and Liv, were they offered £250k each from Gordon's estate? even if its £250k between them all of that would be a significantly large deposit, if Rob matched they could buy the property and mortgage for the renovations, with such a big deposit and both Robron are working most banks would loan without any issues. Actually most banks would loan even if they put just 50% in.

She'll magically have just the contacts and knowledge Robert needs to make Aaron's birthday extra special because plot has dictated it to be to make Aaron paranoid. Also because Aaron will see a nicer side to her tomorrow and let bygones be bygones so he can be jealous and insecure in secret.
The real question is WTF has happened to ruthless Robert who wouldn't let anyone blackmail him and try and split up his relationship?

I liked :p (Liv) chat with :ninja: she made real sense in terms of using Gordon's money for good and for a secure future for them both and a home of their own, I appreciate :ninja: thinks its tarnished but he could use it for a good thing for his family and future, it doesn't erase the past by any means.
I watched tonight episode again, :cartoon: was daft he should have been a little more feeling towards :ninja: I don't think :searchme: does know about the abuse, I think we will know more by the end of the week.

Not overly bothered about :searchme: in general, but it would be nice to have a bit of consistency and continuity in the story:)
I didn't really understand what that looking in the mirror scene was trying to convey:hmm:

LOL I remember at the beginning of the affair when Aaron did Chrissie a favour he was so on his guard that he thought he was going to blackmail him:D

She made that comment about getting the cash by sleeping with someone - initially made me think that it was intentional, and she was preying on Aaron's insecurities or trying to unsettle him in some way. Seeing him in the mirror was to show that it had worked, but I think I was reading way too much into it! As far as we know she doesn't try to split them up (again) I don't think, especially if she's off flirting with Ross at some point soon, so I guess you're right about it being linked to the HF robbery...

Just rewatched tonite and when :searchme: says that thing :ninja: kinda screws up his face but I actually just love the expression on :cartman: I thought for a minute it was almost a guilty look that he had told her but don't think it is now it was just him thinking how :ninja: felt (hope I got those right way round)
There's on thing that ED has done tonight and that's squeeze a lot of after ep discussion points into 1/2hr!:)

Something I noticed on re-watching the end scene, Aaron's pint was more than half drank which means he'd been sat there with Robert and Rebecca (and Liv) and not had an issue until she said anything.
