feel sorry for tracey but also cant really get that interested with her and david

Wish robron had a show of their own so we could just enjoy emmerdale instead of every episode being about them or someone related to them ruining emmerdale

I know this is biased on my part but if anyone else had been defending Ross I would have been on their side but it’s too little too late for PD to try and be nice and I’m sorry to make me an even worse person I don’t care that she’s just been thumped. :(
I really don’t think it was necessary to have that scene were those girls were making a fool of Ross - it does not give a good impression for anybody who has a disfigurement - it’s not a subject for the programme to use for a comedy element - I find that a bit distasteful.:nono:

Guys - I feel really guilty now and hope you don’t dislike me for what I said about PD being thumped - I want to assure you that I do not condone a woman being hit in any way, it is just my blinkered dislike of the character and nothing else. I do hope that makes sense.:o

I’m a bit sick of them ramming PD down our throat too - no matter how many people they try to suddenly get her to interact with it’s too late and surely there’s actually only so many errors a person can make before their employer says it just isn’t working out - brain injury or not, they are just portraying this too much like a joke. :wall:
Feel so sorry for Ross - that’s because of the way it’s being played/portrayed - hence the difference in the quality of the characters.
Robert in Boss mode is a wonderful thing to see.:heart:

I’m finding it difficult to understand why Joe has to do this - is this what his whole life and character consists of - scheming against people- there doesn’t seem to be much else about him and it’s starting to get very boring, very quickly.

The character of Joe worked well, and was full of promise, up until he moved into Home Farm. Now, he's a bore. All he does is feud and seek revenge for the sake of it ... over and over and over again. It's just 'rinse and repeat' forever.
It is such a waste of the actor's talents.
As for the rest of this evening ... far too much Borel and a little too much of Pete, Rhona amd Ross. I don't mind this story too much but far too long is being spent on it with no real progress. Where are they going with it all?

Hi Matty - I agree I think Joe and Robert are more the sort that would use business dealings to get what they wanted rather than using actual people as leverage. I don’t know how Joe could be involved in the Macfarlanes thing, but then again ED are good at rewriting certain things for drama purposes but at least we know our boys get through it as a couple.

That transfer deal was all set up very quickly - maybe things aren’t quite what they seem and Robert maybe knows more than he’s letting on. Hopefully. :hmm:

It's just that we know that Robert telephones the police and has Joe arrested for stealing the lorry. I think that Joe has been tricked by Robert and Jimmy into handing over money and not really buying anything.

prob seems odd to people who live in big cities that people just walk into each others houses but in a village it happens certainly in the day

I just wonder if what they mean by the fallout is just there way of saying how Aaron & Robert cope with the after effects of the kidnapping and how it possibly affects Aaron’s state of mind. I could be totally wrong of course. Whatever happens I’m sure we are in for some really good episodes next week and from what Eddy says it looks like we’ll see them every day. Which is exactly what we want. :cheer:

It is becoming boring this constant revenge thing, he’s coming across as just a petulant child, which is not a good look for a grown up.
Charity dodsn’t seem to know where Noah is half the time. I hope they don’t turn him to a mini version of Joe, they’ve already got him smirking when he thinks Joes got the upper hand on somebody - he’s not a good role model for a young boy.

I’m sure Isobel will do this very well as she is a talented young actress, but as you say let’s hope it isn’t too slow a burner as people will lose interest in it.
That is the problem with ED unfortunately, sometimes they rush through stories too fast to make them believable and then with others they just pick them up and drop them for ages and people have forgotten about them or don’t really care anymore. :hmm:

So they did rewrite the Prison Break then. I don’t understand how Syd thinks why anybody should pay for him being on the run as he wouldn’t be free if it wasn’t for them. This storyline is just ridiculous.
That stuff with PD is just stupid , what person is going to let somebody carry on working for them if they are going to insult their customers. No matter if a person has an injury or not it can only be used as an excuse for so long. This is just a joke and an insult to someone who has a injury such as that.
Really bored with this Borel stuff - every episode.

The only good thing about Aaron's story line is that it keeps him and Robert on our TV screens. That is always good. The story itself does not make any sense. It's just silly.

What annoys me is that they insist on having to permanently tie Robert to Home Farm in storylines. There are plenty other things they could do with him & Aaron that don’t involved HF. It gets very boring. Joe is just a spoilt brat too which doesn’t help the situation.:wall::wall::mad:

well just watched both eps but not caught up here
Ryan and especially Danny were fantastic tonite but fraid the plot was utter rubbish if its just a device to get Robert in Joe's debt, whether joe was actually behind the kidnap or not. Its unreal like he just happens to be jogging around to see them with Syd. wow what a clever idea to have Robert in this position so much in debt to Joe in a matter of minutes and Syd was so desperate for money he didn't even check all the way down the bag and some of it could just have been paper ridiculous
really ed can you not get some better writers or was it all your own idea mista iain ? I actually think its more annoying than anything else
and how is Robert able to sign over the mill anyway its not in his name ? what about Liv's rights ?
as for other stuff, Lachlan sl just getting boring, same with borel, and I still don't have remotest sympathy for Rebecca if we are meant to

It’s amazing to see the extent to which this programme goes from bad to worse in terms of how absolutely unbelievable storylines are becoming. This £100,000 nonsense has just seen Emmerdale writers sink to a new all-time low, at least from my viewpoint. From the silly cage scene to the kidnapping of Aaron, it was absolute codswallop! Don’t just be ashamed Emmerdale. Be very ashamed for taking your audience for fools!
Have I missed a bit...but I thought the house was bought with Liv's money. So how can Robert hand it over to Joe Tate ?????
I have been such an advocate of this show for over 30 years but tonight beggars belief. How can Robert sell a house he did not even own?

This storyline is so predictable I could have written the script for them. How pathetic. Joe tries to rip of Rob, Rob rips of Joe, now Joe rips of Rob and so it goes on and on and on. Do the writers of this rubbish not realise how stupid it all is. They were doing so well too. How come devious Rob hadn't got the brain power to work it out !!!!!!! !!!!!!
What about Cain standing there like a stuffed pigeon with his rifle on the floor . They had no strategy at all. The thugs were much better prepared. And why are all thugs in Emmerdale getting £100000. The one with the acid also got £100000.
I know it's a soap but please give us the viewers a bit more respect to expect us to believe story lines like that. What have come out of the blue. Just a hour of total trash.

Hi Matty - thanks I’ve read them now. I think you’re right the fallout is probably because of Robert tearing up the paperwork and Joe finding out whose name is on the ownership on The Mill. It looks like Joe hasn’t won everything he thought! :thumbsup:

Morning my wonderful Robron fans havent watched last nights ep yet working late but lets all stay focused we have our Robron wedding to come and it will all be well worth the wait we all know Robron love each other and Rob would do anything for his Aaron and yes lets hope Aaron will suport Rob a little more yeah and im not to bothered about the passion we had that in the reunion eps and just like both Danny+Ryan its not all about the kissing and passion all the time they showing it in other ways like being a couple and working togther to work things out like Rob saving aaron in thurs eps and im sure we get some lovley scenes over the next few months while they planning there wedding and next weeks preiveiw looks good when Liv comes back

Laurel was one of my Emmerdale favourites but this love affair business with Bob has ruined her for me. The thing is that this is not the same character that I have watched for all these years. Laurel has been given a totally different personality and for no good reason. It's a story that did not have to be told as it's been done so many times recently. Also Borel have no chemistry.

I agree with your post. I have no complaints about the manner in which Aaron and Robert, and their relationship was shown in Thursday's and Friday's episodes. They were good. It's always good to watch Danny and Ryan in their scenes as they are superb actors.
My complaint is with the awful and unbelievable story that was told. It made no sense and it still makes little sense. The writer should be ashamed of herself.

It’s maybe because I don’t really like this Bourel stuff but it does feel like there is being a lot of time spent on that storyline at a cost of other stories and making them more unclear.
Surely there should be a bit more consistency across the board and then explaining maybe wouldn’t be required as often. :hmm:

That does really sound like Liv gets locked up. If that is what happens, surely that is harsh for a first offence. I do hope Gabby gets a severe sentence too as I still feel she was mainly to blame.:(

It does sound harsh for a first offence, doesn't it? Perhaps Liv isn't locked up but gets found guilty and is given community service. That could also explain Zac's attitude.

He has had a quieter time as far as storylines go this year but he is still one of the cast members that keeps people watching even when he doesn’t have major screen time. Ryan is starting to make a big impact on the viewers now though as well, as people see his character in a different way now.
Danny appears to be the sort of person that would be happy with whoever wins as he always comes across as just being pleased to be involved with the programme.
Regarding Michael Parr's nomination for BSA best actor. He has put in some fine performances since the launch of the acid attack story. I thank him for that, though he will never go down in Emmerdale history as one of their 'greater' players (he always over-eggs the pudding). However, I will never vote for him for anything, no matter what. And yes, it's all about the way that he has cruelly and repeatedly baited Robron fans, especially the younger ones after the ONS. When it comes down to it, I just don't like him.

So, my vote goes to Ryan and if he doesn't make the short list, it will go to almost anyone else other than Michael Parr, probably Jeff or Coronation Street's Jack P. Shepherd.
