Still haven’t watched last nguts episodes yet so can’t comment on them.
I do hope that this thing about Ross & PD gett8ng close is the lead up to the for both of them and the truth coming out about the baby he can but hope)
Not long now until the Wedding. There should be good scenes as long as certain people don’t get too much screen time in between the main event.:cheer::heart:

There are rumours that Aaron gives Robert his watch back. The one that Robert thought he had lost but which Aaron kept as some sort of reminder of their love.

It's mainly Ross/Ryan, a drunk Charity and Cain/Matty tonight. I enjoyed nearly all of that, especially Ross/Ryan.
There is also quite a bit of Rebecca/Victoria stuff with the usual tears which you may not be interested in.

I hate to say this but I really do not rate EH's acting, she is so unconvincing as a desperate mother wanting to see her child.
ED really need to sort this dreadful story its fell in to the boring department some time ago, is she leaving soon please ????

Agree with you.👍 I actually still haven’t watched but I get the impression from what I’ve read that things are sort of repeating situations similar to what we saw after the car accident. I also hope she goes soon and this time not just for a month or so.
The boys do look mighty fine in that preview and that’s the sort of scene we want more of. :heart:

A very wet morning here, 9c, not feeling particularly cold, perhaps because it is not very windy. Forecast to get warmer this afternoon with lots of sunshine. :)
16c forecast for north London tomorrow and then getting warmer as the week proceeds and 22c forecast for Thursday. Apparently it will be staying like that until at least the end of the first week in October. Not bad at all.

On my now infrequent drop-ins to the DS thread and note that the mood still seems somewhat poor and the usual suspects are moaning.
On another note they have mentioned some gossip from an unknown saying ED are planning a big cull of cast, now in my view they have a lot of cast who are poorly utilised, now this may be strategic e.g. they need the likes of Pearl and Rodney to gap fill occasionally and I can understand that approach. They do need to inject some new life and I would see that quite few characters are not adding value.
I would think in the safe zone should be Robron, Vanity, Coira, Chaddy as the big hitters with Faith, Pollard, The Dingles & Sugdens also OK.
We know Ross is going and I cannot see what they can do with PD ... David/Tracy/Rhona/Pete/Daz are all possible leavers as well.
Who knows, it could be a false rumour but I do see that ED need to have a shake up and the new people may see the need as well.

I agree with your choices apart from Rhona, I think she is not going to leave because of Leo and her relationship with Marlon and Paddy .. Daz might leave once Bernice has told him she wants to be with the doctor.. David will stay as Leyla is due to be back soon and no doubt will be bringing a child with her which could be his ...

Interesting how @Eastieoaks thinks Vanity will be bigger than Robron in a years time, I personally hope Robron go from strength to strength after the wedding, I am not getting the Vanity thing at the moment although I like Charity and Vanessa as characters.

It’s been reasonable weather and not too cold here today. I managed to get into the garden for a few hours and do some clearing up for the autumn season. We are forecast to have a high of 18 on Wednesday, that is going to be our warmest day this week.

On my now infrequent drop-ins to the DS thread and note that the mood still seems somewhat poor and the usual suspects are moaning.

There are definetly some cast members that could be moved on - I personally feel that some of The Sharma family could be moved out and it goes without saying who else I believe has fulfilled there time there.
It will be interesting to see what happens in the next few months.

I feel the same as you about Vanity - it doesn’t have the same chemistry thing going on . No one could match up to Robron on those stakes.

I never take seriously these anonymous sources. Occasionally they are genuine but 90% of the time they are just attention seeking and time wasting types.
As a rule, I don't like cast culls. I like characters to come and go gradually by means of good story telling. Also, I feel that Emmerdale has already lost quite a few characters these last 2 or so years, including some major characters like Adam Barton, Ashley Thomas, Emma Barton, Finn Barton, Gerry, James Barton, Andy Sugden, Val Pollard, Chrissie and Lawrence White. I'm sure there are more and we know that Lachlan has just gone and Ross is about to go. As far as I am concerned that is enough.

Have just caught up with tonight’s episode.
Why were Robron not at the Dingle Family Court - they had as much right to be there as Paddy & Lydia?
Ffwd through certain scenes so don’t know if there were any developments that may lead to an exit.
Robron were a miss :heart: but at least they weren’t stuck in PD land today.:rolleyes:
There were no scenes that would suggest that there might be a joint exit for Rebecca and Ross. But, there was a firm suggestion that their relationship is not over. Where it will end is anyone's guess.
The most amusing thing for me was watching Ross pour his cocaine down the sink as Rebecca was talking to him. That woman is a miracle worker.

Some great stuff on Twitter about Robron and the wedding, I posted a few links earlier.
Seems like Robron are not mentioned for the following week so hopefully they go away or are holed up in their bedroom for a week or two :o:o:o
I like quite a few if the magazine articles as they talk about them being stronger as a couple now which I think is really coming across on TV, I do agree with Ryan that they need some good and interesting stories now both together and as :cartman: & :ninja: as at the end of the day they any independent storyline should always lead back to them as a married couple.
I am really pleased they will finally be a legally married same sex couple - true husbands :cheer::cheer::cheer:

hello my robron friends :cheer: hope everyone well
we had a couple of storms here last week but more windy than wet no real damage and we didn't loose power so
so looking forward to the wedding and can put up with other stuff in the meantime although there do seem to be some proper sls at the moment and even if i'm not that interested in all of them its better than some of the rubbish filler stuff they had in last couple of months
Paul and Eddie thanks for the spoilers and links to pics but I do hope there are a couple of nice surprises on the wedding day
I want to be positive and I think Rebecca suggesting that she leave Seb with the guyz is still part of the twist to build up the heartache for when the truth comes out cos tbh I really do not want it to end up with her gone and Robron bringing up Robert and her baby for the rest of their lives. Have a baby between them yes but not her baby its not right and will only be a marker for argument and upset in time to come and ed wouldn't be able to resist
No the best result is wonderful happy wedding and at some point soon the truth coming out. Aaron supporting Robert in his pain as Rebecca and Ross leave with their baby Seb. After all she did say at the clinic that the father wasn't Robert.
As for the mates thing I get that cos even straight couples can say it so its all good
btw I know the lady in red is a Tate but where does she does fit in with Joe like what relation is she and does she have some hold on him from long ago?
Have caught up with tonight and agree with Eddy that the Charity scenes were good, except for the bits with Vanessa, I’m sorry but I find her irritating.
As you know I don’t know what a certain blinky person says because if she’s in a scene with anyone other than Robron I ffwd through it. I’m sure if anything important and news worthy is said, someone on here will put me in the picture.
Hoped we might see a bit more of the boys in the build up to the big event, but what we do see is worth waiting for.:heart:

Hi Fellow Robroners just got back a lovely hol in Cornwall back on Topic so it looks and sounds like Ross+Bex will be heading back togther and this could could lead to Ross+Bex leave the dales togther like i said it could happen and if they decide to baby Seb with them then this could led to a DNA test come into it the week after the wedding its when Kim Tate will be reaveal to us but then we could have a little mention or two and the wedding pics looks good and we defo a lovely kiss when they i do when the Register say now you kiss the groom and groom:heart::heart::heart::heart:

Started to watch live tonight but then for the usual reason I waited until the ep had finished. . Enjoyed the Charity and her Dad scenes after Vanessa had left - there is no way that they would have had that talk if she’d been around. The pub scenes were good. Yet again I’ll wait to hear what goes on in the PD scenes from someone else.
Shame the boys weren’t on but at least we get them for the rest of the week.:heart:

I really like the Ross and Ryan scenes but I'm not sure if irl Ross character would be so accepting of how Luke speaks to him but I think it works well and in that way at least its pity Ross going

I doubt Joe has been in it long enough to get the desired impact if he were to die, I don't think too many people would be bothered. Simon is brought back into Ross' orbit for his last couple of weeks, it's got disaster written all over it.
I realise this is a terrible thing to say and really I don’t actually want Ross to be killed off as I’d rather he just left by some other means , but the only thing is that if he dies too it may send PD completely around the bend and she has to go away somewhere for a very long time. I know that’s cruel.:(:o

Second episode was really good too.
It just goes to prove that they don’t need filler rubbish to make for good viewing and giving the quality actors a lot to do really shows through.
The only one I didn’t really care for was Vic - this thing about Adam being the love of her life is too little too late and I think she could have tried to talk to Moira before she called the police on her - she has gone right down in my estimations again. Perhaps she and PD should leave the village together and make a new life somewhere else away from all the memories.
More brilliant family scenes with Robron - loved the chat that:cartman:had with Liv and the chat that :ninja:had with Paddy.
If the boys look as good next Friday as they did tonight they are going to be absolutely stunning. :p

Hopefully we might get a bit more of the boys tomorrow night. I agree with you about Vanessa, she’s jut doesn’t work for me she just always seems to be coming across as trying to hard and it is just annoying to watch for as you say more than a few moments. Moira scenes were good, she was very restrained not retaliating when Vic slapped her.

Hi Matty I still wonder if they are just keeping the rings off so that it is a special moment on Friday when they are put back on during the ceremony. I do hope we get some really romantic scenes thanks to Maxine. It will be interesting to see if ED has actually checked their history to see that this date was so special to the Sugden family, it would be good if it warranted a mention.

I was so annoyed with Vic tonigt - everything is about her, funny how she seemed to have forgotten all about Adam when she put herself on the dating site - he wasn’t the only person she cared about then. Seriously I feel it would be better if she wasn’t at the wedding she just brings everyone down.
That was a good episode as far as the boys appearances were concerned - they are so much in love and looking forward to being together properly. Seeing the village come together for them like that was nice. Loved the singing, shame it got cut short, I was hoping that even after Chas & Paddy went off to the Hospital that they might have ended the ep with the boys singing, they were so much better than some of the other attempts.
Too much Vic being mouthy throughout.:(
Feel so sad for Chas & Paddy knowing what’s coming.

I would have liked a few more stag party scenes and a lot less Matty/Moira and Victoria. That story line dominated last night's TWO episodes and that was more than enough. We did not need so much of it today. :mad:
I laughed out loud when Victoria picked up the microphone to speak to everyone in the Woolpack. Given that Victoria is the human equivalent of a fog horn, she had no need for a microphone. :rotfl:
One last point, given the way that Victoria treated Aaron when Rebecca was pregnant, she has no right to expect anything from Aaron.

assume the tragedy is the Chas baby but I thought that is on Monday. Is the whole episode Chas and Paddy stuff? I know its very sad and will affect a lot of people and kis its great for that reason if they have a whole ep but after all this time why can't Robron have a whole ep with just the wedding and without tragedy even if it was news about Seb.
Guess i'd be happy if Ross and Rebecca find true love before they leave but do they have to do that on the guyz special day :(

I understand how you feel about the Chas & Paddy story. I’m sure it will be brilliantly acted by the two of them but it will be heartbreaking to watch.

assume the tragedy is the Chas baby but I thought that is on Monday. Is the whole episode Chas and Paddy stuff? I know its very sad and will affect a lot of people and kis its great for that reason if they have a whole ep but after all this time why can't Robron have a whole ep with just the wedding and without tragedy even if it was news about Seb.
Guess i'd be happy if Ross and Rebecca find true love before they leave but do they have to do that on the guyz special day :(
anyway the wedding is going to be great :love::wub: so I'll basically just ignore anything that's boring before that :angel:
Hi Micheal ive seen that in a few mags about the wedding tragedy day mybe monday or tuedsay that baby Grace dies and thats when Aaron will ask Rob+Chas to just postpone the wedding if she dies and thats when Chas tells Aaron+Rob she wants the wedding to go ahead yeah i dont know thats my theory yeah whats everybody else think we all know its goes ahead and they do get married just a little Drama along the way

I agree with your interpretation of the wedding tragedy and why Aaron and Robert discuss the postponement of their wedding, though Chas refuses to let them do that.
As for whether Robert takes Aaron to the hospital, I'm not at all sure.

Well I watched that live after all and it as so sad but it was a beautifully done episode and no other stuff thrown in to the pot just that storyline. Lucy & Dominic were brilliant, that must have been so hard for them to do, they deserve an award for those performances.:crying::(

well that's the only thing I was bit disappointed with as he stayed outside the room but he was with Robert ("where else would I be?")

It was very sad to watch but it was very tastefully done. Aaron & Robert had both been there overnight by the looks of it and Aaron wished he’d been able to be a big brother to Grace. It’s a shame he didn’t get to see the baby but I could see why they just wanted it to be Mam, Dad & baby together. Robert there being the supportive future husband.

I also saw a film about how they made that promo with the new lady which was to show how the cast seemed to fall back and I thought it would be all high tec but they actually just fell onto mattresses :rotfl:

Have just caught up and only watched the Chas & Paddy bits and the boys of course, again heartbreaking scenes brilliantly played.
I know this is daft but now I’m even finding it hard to watch:cartman:scenes when PD’s in them. I do hope her days are numbered on the programme because if they aren’t I’m going to miss a lot of scenes in the future.

The fact that it is being repeatedly spoilered that Kim Tate is the one that is pushed down the stairs, strongly suggests to me that she is only injured .Nothing more than that and I'm sure that the Hotten Miracle Hospital will have her all fixed within a day or two.
I suspect that it is either Graham or Joe that will be killed off.

I know I keep saying it and maybe completely wrong but ed seem to be constantly stressing how much Seb means to Robert but also to Aaron that it just seems that it must be leading up to something like him not being around. I don't want anything bad to happen him obvs and unlikely now so soon after Gracie but they are also getting Ross and Rebecca closer for a reason :hmm:
but they shouldn't just go off with him without it being clear first that he's not Robert's :thumbsup: like she said at the clinic

I always take that upsetting warning to mean that there are PD scenes, which are always difficult to see. :rotfl:

I’ve just caught up on the episode and apart from the Chas & Paddy scenes (except for the one where he went off in a temper and banged the door like a little child) and the :ninja:scenes:heart: I found it a pretty boring and disjointed episode.

Have just watched 1st half up to now - again only the boys and Chas & Paddy scenes. Ffwd through Debbie & Joe talking about their wedding plans. Still can’t take that Scottish bloke seriously so didn’t watch all his scene. Lovely episode, right amount of fluff, lovely :cartman: & :ninja: together scenes and a real validation of their love and commitment.
The speeches from Paddy and Chas were very emotional and appropriate as was Liv and Vic's, as expected brilliantly written by Maxine.
The Ross/PD scenes annoyed me but actually I think they were to symbolise the fact that the PD/:cartman: era is gone forever, where PD goes now is anyones guess as we have Seb in the mix and I still think Robron will have some upset in that area OR they may get full custody if :cartman: and :ninja: provide a safer more stable family environment than PD, either way that chapter is still open.
The Adam stuff is going to kick off as we know very soon and :ninja: obviously has his number so angst coming soon.
Overall brilliant, why some people post on here slagging them off when this is a Robert and Aaron thread (yes the two of them together) is quite frankly bizarre but the world is full of different people.

Yes very strange to leave this out, they could have done the PD stuff in one scene or as you say the Priya scene. I did understand the Joe stuff at the end that was to set up for next week.

Yes I loved that as well, also loved that :cartman: sneaked to :ninja: room at the pub the night before the wedding, couldn't stand a night without :ninja: very nice and Chas acknowledging that and saying its amazing after 4 years that they still have the passion was great.
I just watched it again and it was just as good the second time around.
All in all, Maxine did a great job writing that episode. Thank you to her. :clap:

Hello. Yes, tomorrow's double episode is the same day in the afternoon. I don't think that Joe is Kim Tate's son unless there is something that we are not yet aware of. Kim Tate's son is called James and he has not yet been mentioned.

I quite liked the HF stuff kicking off, Graham and the Kim Tate (she does look like a drag queen) stuff is looking like it will be fun, something new, interesting and exciting rather than churning up PD/Ross and others.
I have loved Chas/Paddy story, it has been very moving and superbly acted by all involved.
Robron - say no more, excellent and happy they are off on honeymoon.
I am curious how PD got in to The Mill, Liv would need someone staying with her so maybe Diane has come to stop whilst Robron are away we just have to assume she went to see Seb for a while.

I'm not sure what to think about all this. However, I'm hoping that after tonight's one hour episode, we will have some answers, especially about James. I'll be disappointed if we don't and I'll be furious if Emmerdale have changed Kim Tate's history and start pretending that James does not exist.

we don't get the show big brother here but I obvs know what it is as is usually all over ds and this afternoon my friend and I (she's better at finding stuff on yt and everywhere than me) have watched a load of stuff with Cameron. if you see that show you'll know who he is. Fair play to him and I hope lots of lgbt lads and girls in England have seen it. My bestest friend is a girl and we've know each other since we could talk and sure we have talked and talked but from what I saw today any gay lad would be very lucky indeed to have a straight friend like Lewis. I hope people over there keep him in the show.
