I don’t think the Marlon, Jessie and Ellis stuff is necessary either tonight.

I have a feeling that Lachlan will escape, try to visit Belle and that sort of thing. My guess is that he will offer to take the police to his aunty and then run off.

just caught both eps as we get the second one later than yous :mad:
both good and it almost seemed anti climax that Lachlan now locked up . . . but it won't end there of course :rolleyes:
seems obvs Rebecca not dead but cant be as simple as he still has her locked up somewhere maybe the suitcase is a clue :hmm:
really wasn't expecting Belle being suddenly hit like that ed can do those things well but seems shes not too bad and that everyone quickly not blaming Robert :o
as for other stuff glad Matty and Vic will be just friends at least hope it stays that way
Ellis sl just not real somehow but not really interested enough to care at the moment anyway :searchme:

I really hope they portray this doubts about committing correctly and it doesn’t come across as any type of insecurity about Roberts feelings for PD. :nono:

On my TV guide for tonight it only mentions Ellis and a secret being revealed and something about Vic fights her feelings. There’s no mention of Lachlan or Robert. But Eddy did say earlier that Robert is in tonight.

I do find it odd that :cartman: would be that beside himself although we are in soap land, I think I would be annoyed if :ninja: was still in Ireland but he is obviously very involved in this story and it is actually leading to :cartman: collapsing. I cannot imagine they are doing a :cartman: has a seizure story without it having a purpose otherwise whats the point of it, it has to be leading somewhere. I would hope we will get dialogue which will make it all a little clearer,
Another thought, I can appreciate :cartman: being distressed mainly for Seb (not himself), the little boys Mum is allegedly dead but there is no body and everyone is building a memorial (weird in itself), I think I would be frustrated without more searching and evidence.
Finally, :cartman: loves :ninja: ... as much as I want PD gone I do not get that hung up on it, Robron have to have some form of relationship with her if they are going to share Seb and its been made pretty clear that they will all be civil and Aaron will deal with it (see above about why Robert is fussing).

I think that 'Eric collapsing' is just an error by whoever put the spoiler together. It should read 'Robert' as it's been confirmed that he is the one that collapses.

Hi Eddy very happy to:cheer: so looks like we be getting all proper lead up top the wedding yeah and even a little blip next week yeah i wonder who talks Aaron round or he works it self by himself and our lovely Rob sitting down planning his wedding to his gorgeous Aaron cant wait for it to happen and we wil get a lovley wedding and it be amazing because our Maxine has done it and we have lovley scenes to and we have some lovely kisses and hugs defo so hold in there my freinds this wedding will be the Wedding of the year

It was the first show of the series, the one where they are partnered up. Then, in 2 weeks time the competition starts proper. It was very good fun.

I have to say I'm starting to think that way too... There's got to be a reason why Ross is suddenly back in scenes with Robert. It'll be a shame though, cause I'll actually miss Seb, but they must have something planned because Seb is still being payed by Lily, and if the character was to be long-term they would have re-cast by now. I'm starting to think Rebecca is going to leave with Ross.

Hi Don very true im not bothered about PD anymore lets all stay focused and our Robron and there planning for there wedding and there stag parties which will be great this week is all about which is our Robron`s middle name we all know everything will be ok yeah and lets not forget these s/l`s are IM stuff even though KB is shown SP YEAH and like said PD dont bother me and alot of the fandom are so hold your chin up all this Drama will pay of and it worth it and like Both Danny+Ryan said it be and we will get the best out or our Robron when get Drama thrown at them so it cant much yeah becuse we get the stag do and the wedding to come yeah and od course our Aaron will be so worried when his true love collapes in his arms Robron forever end off

Yes, it's been great not having her around. But, if I'm honest, Emmerdale has been annoying me recently. It's not the Robron or Lachlan/Rebecca stuff that is really annoying me, not even Daz's or Rishi's silly stories, but the way that Ross's acid attack has been handled. I hate it.

Hi Matty - I’m not the best one to give advice after the way things went at one point last week with me on Twitter. I still go on both but try to limit my comments and try to ignore the ones that are too negative if I can. Hopefully after all this rubbish with PD has played out things may quieten down a bit.

Take a break for a couple of weeks until the Lachlan/Rebecca stuff moves on. That should do the trick. In any case why should you quit because of an idiotic minority?

She is. She is such a natural in front of the camera too and does seem to like being with Danny & Ryan. I’ve never seen a baby actor who seems to take so much notice of the characters around her.👍

I dont think you should leave because of them. Maybe just block those that are being negative, then you wouldn't have to see it. :)

Hi Matty - that sounds right that October would be the time that the new team take over. I hope you’re right about PD leaving with Ross and Ross and Robert being in more scenes does look promising that maybe the paternity is going to be an issue. As you say the Wedding is the main things not we need to think about and that won’t be long now. :cheer:

- Have you ever seen such cruelty, why does Emmerdale hate its audience so much that not only has it retained this character but also continually punishes us in to believing that she is going. You need to question just why you didn't win the best soap last night.

Robert is being OTT but he’s wrongly taking the blame for being the cause of everything which is the norm for him now. It’s not because he has any romantic feelings for PD in any way. You can see why he collapses as he won’t relax or let anyone get close to him or help.

I get a bit lost with ed sometimes cos in the trial it said that Bails cannot have raped her because she did not report it in a year but she was under age and they have dna that ryan is his son so what is he actually being tried for?
Rebecca rubbish is almost beyond belief would any nurse carry on like that? and the phone conveniently losing power so it can't be tracked but can't the police trace where it was last when it received a call?
As for Robert being bothered about Rebecca I don't think for a moment think he cares for her romantically but she is the mother of Seb and suppose she is still the sister of his ex wife and Robert is a good person.
I'm sorry for Aaron just now cos it must be hurtful but in the end its all just to show Robert more concerned than ever for Seb to build up for when the truth finally comes out about who father or at least isn't :wub:

For me, it's always been about Seb, not Rebecca. Not Robert wanting to find Rebecca for other reasons. He even said tonight he was ok with knowing it was just the four of them, thinking RTebecca was in another country. Now she's missing and presumed dead so I can totally understand why Robert is so intent on finding her. I have to say though I'm not ok with some fans' expectations of Aaron and how he deals with the Rebecca situation.
Just yesterday everyone went into meltdown because Aaron felt sympathy for Rebecca believing she had been murdered.
Today, he referred to himself as one of Seb's parents.... and I'm yet to see anyone have an issue with that.
Sorry but for me, I can't understand the "You can care about Seb but I'll be damned if you're gonna be sad to see him grow up without his mother" narrative.

Hi Matty - that does sound like a possible thing they would do after :cartman:has his fit if they think it might be something hereditary and not just a one off stress factor.
The interviews with the new production team will be interesting to read - maybe they haven’t said anything yet as they are waiting until all of IM’s ideas are shown before they say what’s going to happen in the future.
Seeing them on their honeywoon would be good. It would really show them as a solid couple, but maybe that’s just wishful thinking on our part that we would see that.:heart:

My guess is that Priya's new friend has to be Ellis. There's no one else really.
Have just caught up with the first episode - watching after the event.
Some good scenes except for the ridiculous escape attempt - Lachlan is a murderer would they really let him walk through the woods unattached to an officer. Surely they’ve not got to stop pandering to his wishes - he is just playing them and it is becoming boring. Now he’s trying to incriminate Belle - they can’t believe that surely, she wasn’t even anywhere near the crash when it happened.
:cartman:getting so worked up that he is running himself into the ground, literally and :ninja: trying his hardest to support and comfort him. I felt so sorry for :cartman:but have to say if he was having a fit it was a very mild one. However some great Roblivion family scenes and the expressions and acting from them all in these scenes was great as usual. :heart:
Will wait until after the second ep before I watch further.

Great to see Aaron, Robert and Liv. Other than their scenes, it was a rubbish episode.
I really need this ridiculous Belle/Lachlan/Rebecca stuff to end swiftly. It's been done over and over again. That in itself is bad enough but it's made all the worse by being totally unbelievable, especially the input from the nurse and the police.
I don't know what this is all about but it feels as if Emmedale have got spare time to fill for some reason and have run out of ideas about what do with it.

I have quite enjoyed this weeks Robron, still a little curious where the PD / Lachlan stuff is going and where that will leave Seb ... interesting there are no leaks or no information about this, well done ED for keeping the lid on it. The only thing is something must resolve if Robron are to get married without any shadow hanging over them or the day.
I think ultimately they both feel married to each other, the legal aspect solidifies their bond and ensure they have legal rights over each other and with the adoption talk makes it easier with Seb. The whole thing could be more romantic but as I saying I think they see this as legal and for their and Seb's security.
Once married ED need to work on :ninja: and :cartman: stories .... see next post for my thoughts.

:cartman: has always been a go getting business man and that energy, skill and drive is still inside him, I would love to see him talking to :ninja: about business and start to make something of himself for the well being and security of his husband and family. There is so much potential for :cartman: on his own and also together with :ninja: to start an empire of their own - scrap / haulage etc ..... some great storylines.
Robron may not keep Seb, that could happen and if this does happen I can see huge potential in a surrogacy story, show the highs and lows of the process and the joy of a child being :ninja: & :cartman: from day one ..... it would be great viewing.
:cartman: has not to my knowledge been shown any prejudice for being bi or being in a same sex relationship, through his business dealings it would be interesting to see him handle the situation .. maybe this could be via a business contact, out and about or in the village ... as much as ED residents are very accepting, the world can be very cruel and it would be good to show that and how to tackle the issue with a positive outcome.

I'm on exactly the same page as you.
The Emmerdale story liners need to choose to give Aaron and Robert an agenda that includes some of the issues that any young male couple would face. Or, they can carry on as they are doing at the moment which is not very exciting or challenging but which is ok and acceptable. In other words make Robron like all the other couples in the show, facing the same old issues with misunderstandings, comedic plots, love affairs and on we go.

Have had visitors since yesterday morning so have only just caught up on last nights ep.
The Ross stuff is already getting boring, the sooner he rides off into the sunset with the love of his life, the better. I can’t say I’ve noticed the scar piece on the side of his head before - is that a new addition and a lot of the facial scars seem to have miraculously healed. :hmm:
Can’t believe those police women are actually taking it seriously about Belle.
Didn’t watch every single scene, obvious reasons.
The Robron scenes were good, seeing them talking about Wedding plans and the parental order for Seb - it did look a bit though like :ninja:wasn’t a 100% sure about the idea but I put that down to the fact that he’s concerned that :cartman:is going full on with everything to take his mind off things and still isn’t resting plenty and thinking everything through fully before putting things in place. :heart:

There’s a lot of talk about adopting or the parental order - this usually means that it won’t happen - probably because Seb isn’t around.
:cartman:and Ross being back in each other storylines again and the feelings that Ross has for PD does make you wonder if there’s something brewing about the paternity and an exit.

I have seen a few pictures of the outside of the venue, not sure if Eddy has posted them on here yet and it seems we will have quite a bit more information this coming week so that will be fun.
I am wondering a few more things, what are everyones though:
1. Last time they did the pseudo wedding they kept their own names and did the cute calling each other the others surname, I wonder if they will actually do something different this time with the intention that Seb would carry both their surnames Dingle-Sugden or Sugden-Dingle, I am not bothered either way but I think it would make sense now :cartman: is so focused on Aaron having parental rights.
2. I wonder what they will say as their vows?
3. A honeymoon would be nice this time.
4. Will PD be around, I have not seen anything about her future and I wonder if she is found and leaves very soon after ... the Ross thing is also a mystery, articles make you think he dies but am not sure. It also doesn't feel like we have enough time for a paternity story before the wedding.
Lots of stuff coming up which is brilliant and the FFWD button is the best thing ever to remove the boring tosh.

bib 1 if Robert does not keep Seb surrogacy would be interesting in the lead up but once they have a baby it can be limiting and only so many sls unless the baby has some big problem or illness. It might be more interesting if the fostered or even adopted an older child that could interact with the three of them maybe with issues that Robert and Aaron help them through

It's not working for me, that's for sure. Debbie is just dragging down the Joe character. She should be in prison for the Ross story line.

after weeks of boring dross at least things are happening one way or another without rishi love live and other such rubbish
Aaron getting more paternal is just buildup for whats coming when the truth is out and I think Robert the same he doesn't love Rebecca no way but he cares about her cos she is he thinks the mother of his son and he is a good person
still its obvs going to drag on a bit more like where has the nurse taken her or maybe she's done in the nurse :eek:
why did Lachlan change his mind? he always has another motive and btw Thomas doing great as ever

Didn’t like the :cartman: lying to :ninja: about going to work and it actually being something to do with PD , it was too close to the scene where he lied and :ninja:beat up Kasim as he was meeting her.:thumbsdow
Sorry but Lachlan should be getting help in a secure unit not just being held on remand - he’s deranged. Really good scenes between Ryan & Thomas though.
Loved the scenes with Chas & Paddy - who would have thought they would have talked so positively about anything involving :cartman:.
Have they given up making Ross’s scars look realistic?
I wish to goodness they’d tell us what Jesses secret is - this is just dragging on.
The end scene where PD had been - I thought it had been spoilered that the room was splattered in blood - maybe I missed that, but I didn’t see very much.
:cartman:s look on his face wasn’t so much of upset about a person missing again it was more like - Oh how many more times are they going to do this where is she, is she dead or alive scenes. He looked more exasperated than upset.::rolleyes:.
The boys did look good though throughout.:heart:

They’ve sort of ruined Thomas’s portrayal now and turned his character into a bit of a pantomime villain, all he needs is a twirly moustache and a black cape and an evil laugh. It’s getting silly now. I only saw the room after PD had gone, haven’t actually listened to or watched through any of her scenes since the day she walked into the mill and found them lying there. This does need to end now.

No, it wasn't mentioned tonight about Jessie's son. It's been hinted at in spoilers. As for Lachlan, he has been one of my favourite characters but his story line has gone on for far too long. We need to move on.

Lovely Robron scenes showing them being completely together and :ninja: supporting :cartman: and loving Seb I do think something is going to happen :ninja: has bonded very much to Seb and I can see pain on the horizon for them, not sure what yet.
Stag doo looks like it will be dramatic.
Wedding soon, will be great to see Danny and Ryan knock it out of the park in terms of the emotion.
Sorry guys for my OTT reaction tonight. I’ve cooled off now and that final scene just looks too silly for words really. This is supposed to be a Soap set in the Yorkshire Dales not Dallas. :eek:

I would watch. It explains what happened after Lachlan/Rebecca left the cabin and the arrival of nursey Sykes. Robert appears throughout the episode and he's looking ultra good. There are no Aaron appearances. Rebecca is there throughout the episode as is Diane and Seb. Ross features quite a bit and so does Ryan.
The rest of the episode is dominated by the Ellis, Jessie and Marlon story line.

Meanwhile, Emmerdale posted 2 tweets tonight regarding the Rebecca storyline.
A few of the replies from all sides:
- Please get Bex the help she needs so she can become an independent character and look after her son like she truly wants.
- Yep, this should be a healthy coparenting storyline but where both families (aka Rebecca + Seb, and Roblivion + Seb) are separate but civil and have their own lives like the other couples in the village.
- Why does no one point out that if she hadnt been trying to sneak Seb out of the country w/o Rob knowing NONE of this wouldve happened. Sure Lachlan wouldve snapped eventually but Gerry wouldnt have had to be killed, Tozer wouldnt have been there scamming & no brain injury for Bex.
- Oh good, the fawning all over "poor Rebecca" begins already. She needs to succumb to her injuries. Emily is lovely but the best part of Lachlan's storyline was the hope that he ended her.
- Please GOD give her scenes with someone else. I can't think of a 2 year character who has had less integration than she has. Is there a reason you refuse to give her scenes with 95% of the village? Or do you simply need a woman to soften your same sex couple? Which is it?
- She’ll come out of this a stronger person.
- And the men of Emmerdale will be looking over their shoulders whilst drunk, especially with Rebecca back.
- Glad she is okay. It will take her months to feel any bit safe I feel. I like the character and shocked by the amount of people mocking the character and her storyline.
- She needs to be somewhere where she feels safe - how about back in Ibiza?

I think it is worth watching. There's plenty of Robert who seems to be getting better looking with every passing week. The Ross/Ryan stuff was also good.
However, the episode features even more of Rebecca playing the victim with Belle, Diane, Robert and Victoria in attendance.
