I'm going nowhere for now. I'm staying right here. I just want to have fun and sensible discussions with other members, whether or not they agree with me. I hope that we can all continue to do that as it has, so far, been pleasant here. I just what the atmosphere here to stay as nice and as pleasant as it has always been here and not end up like in the other place. :)

It’s very cold and snow covered but at least only need to look out at it from the warmth inside.🌨

The gay wedding guys were Paul (who was Val Pollards son) and Johnny, (an Australian) who was the vet. They emigrated to Australia. 🙂

I think Robert is very likely to guess or find out what Jimmy King is up to. He is a useless liar. Robert will then feed false info to Jimmy, setting Joe up for a big fall. Alternatively, there's also the possibility that Jimmy will confess all to Robert and turn into a willing accomplice in any revenge plot that he may perhaps pursue.

I was just thinking that about the filming schedule today - great minds think alike - maybe they have to reschedule and do more indoor filming to make up for it.

Well, the snow arrived big time here in north London in the early hours. Our first delivery from the so-called 'Beast from the East', about 5 to 6cm of it. Temps averaging out at about -2c. I decided to take the day off work not that it took too much persuading. :D

Are you a big fan of Rebecca? I loved her when she first came in, much to the annoyance of other people. I like her now but hate the way her character is portrayed as a somewhat non-entity plot device. It's a shame. I really like Emily and wouldn't mind her staying as long as Bex's character is allowed to grow and expand her social circle.

I agree, her character has been portrayed as a non entity mainly because of the robron bandwagon, I'm glad she's staying and rumour has it her storylines will be improving , I thought her and Robert were good together it's a shame they put his character with Aaron, who's personality is so one dimensional and a complete bore fest

I think the sooner they let her spread her wings away from Robron, (apart from the co-parenting) can't come soon enough whether you're a Robron fan or not. Let her come into her own, I say.

I do not think it is a thread to be blatantly rude or critical about them as individuals or a couple, it is a place to talk about their story and any future story and spoilers.
Anyway if people get pleasure from whatever they post then live and let live ...... reminder to this who have been here and been civil for quite a while now, you can block people you don't want to see posts from as I have, I also don't see the need to use infantile foul language either and maybe the moderator can remind people of decorum.

Good afternoon all.
Just 1c here, quite windy and very light snow has continued to fall, on and off, since the early hours. I went into the office for a few hours this morning. My nephew gave me a lift. Though the side streets and pavements were treacherous, the high streets/main roads were well gritted, relatively clear of snow and easy to navigate. Back home now. A colleague had to leave work early, so I got a lift with him. :)

Just 1c here, quite windy and very light snow has continued to fall, on and off, since the early hours. I went into the office for a few hours this morning. My nephew gave me a lift. Though the side streets and pavements were treacherous, the high streets/main roads were well gritted, relatively clear of snow and easy to navigate. Back home now. A colleague had to leave work early, so I got a lift with him. :)

Hi Don IM must have his reasons to keep PD in the show if he didnt he wouldve killed her off i think possibles 1 they are doing this feel sorry for her after he family was killed and meant to feel sorry but im not 2 they are doing a unfit s/l with PD and she cant cope with baby Seb and our Robron will be the ones to look after him or 3 she stays to bring laclan down for when she gets her memory back and then 4 if something happens to baby seb and they need a blood test or something then this will prove Rob`s not the father

I was going to make a lengthy comment about PD and Diane’s attitude that Robert should be taking care of PD but the thought of PD just agrivates me and the character is not worth the effort to think about or get worked up over.:mad:

The character of Joe, that I really liked to begin with, is beginning not to work with me. Emmerdale need to think again about how he is being drawn before they ruin him or lose viewer interest in him and all his usually unbelievable scheming.
I feel, he is beginning to resemble the one-dimensional villain of a fairy tale. Here comes the big bad wolf pursuing his latest vendetta. To some extent, it reminds me of how Rebecca was written.

Rebecca must be leaving. The only way they can realistically keep her in is if she was branching out and mixing with other villages. This being shoehorned into Robert's life is tiring. I think Vic is right and wrong. It's not her job to look after Bex, nor is it Robert's. I don't even think it's Lachlan's job (if we ignore the fact he caused the accident) as he is only 17 years old and can't be tied down as a carer. She needs to have professional carers in.

I think we should concentrate and remember all the good stuff last week and accept that all is happening now with Rebecca is preparing the next lot of storylines. I'm not sure but I think tonight's scenes will tie in with Joe's spying on Aaron and Robert. There was a reason that Joe watched Aaron and Robert talking about Seb in the portacabin.
Also regarding the party. Aaron and Victoria had to really push Robert into going.

the way l think it might work out is that Rebecca will become more useless so the boys will have Seb more and more in order for them both to bond with him so that when the truth finally comes out that he is not Robert's they both be heartbroken and go forward together even stronger :wub:

I am a bit confused really, I don't see any issues with Robron at all, Robert is clearly dedicated to Aaron and vice versa, Robert loves Seb and Aaron is being supportive so a tick in the box there.
Then we have PD, I am just not at all sure where this is going, its all very strange really and I am struggling to get the narrative. Vic and Robert do not have any obligations to PD apart from Robert feeling guilty and Vic being the (now quite regularly) obsessive Aunt to Seb. Its just all very confusing and not in a good way as she is blocking the Robron honeymoon period yet again but with NO potential sexual issues, its all very strange, I would normally be happy for ED to lead this through to their story end but this time I am not sure where it is going, why is she still around, they need to clarify as I am not engaged.

Of course, there is the small matter of getting the snow that has already fallen to disappear. But, given what is happening elsewhere in the UK, I won't complain too much as London's main roads are all clear and the tube network is running almost normally. Have a good weekend all and, if you have to go out, take great care.

I appreciate all you are saying and it all makes logical rational sense of the situation and yes I agree that it has not had a major impact on Robron moving forward which is what we wanted.
The only thing, and this is my own personal feeling, is that I am totally bored with PD’s presence and cannot get interested in what happens to her, as her character just does not appear to have had any development or depth added to her since she arrived in Oct 2016.
I realise that everyone is probably bored with me going on and on about PD but I’m sorry that is just the way she affects me when I see her on screen, but I wish to clarify that this is my opinion of the character not EH.

Hi Fellow Robroners im fine btw have been for a while had enough of yeah but lets all stay postive our Robron are back togther end of and of course we will get lovely romantic scenes again soon thats for sure and whatever comes along our Robron we fight this togther as a couple and i think PD wont be around long yeah and im not sure its Jason some think that the actor is filming something for ch4 now well he could have filmed the Jason stuff before and we all nothing going to happen to our Robron and got the Wedding of the year to come yeah im sure we get to see them planning it but of course we must a Drama and angst along the way to IM do love that with our Robron so keep the sprits up my friends love matty lets all share some Robron love around

A lot of people are saying they believe it will be Jason that returns. However, I doubt it as his story arc with Aaron really seemed to reach a conclusion. Didn't it? If it's not Jason, who could it be?
Sam Cooke, who played Jason, really is a fine actor, so I'm not surprised to hear that he is busy with other work.

It did seem that Jason & Aaron buried the hatchet in their last meeting.[he is a good actor as he was very believable as a nasty piece of work - he deserves any other work he gets.] I’m at a loss who this person could be as it seems that all Aaron’s past ‘demons’ have been disclosed. I don't pick up her staying from this article just an update on the here and now, they have to do something with her one way or the other very soon I think, don't worry I think one way or another her position will be resolved, some people on here clearly love her so some people are happy :moonie::moonie::moonie:

It's unbelievable, it really is. Why would Gabby have been forgiven by Liv???? Makes no sense to me. We all accept that soapy dramas need to take certain liberties with reality. However, for a drama to work, one foot must always be kept firmly in the real world. If it is not, then it is no longer a drama. It becomes a pure fantasy and I'm not interested in that.

However, for a drama to work, one fot must always be kept firmly in the real world. If it is not, then it is no longer a drama. It becomes a pure fantasy and I'm not interested in that.
I may be looking at this in totally the wrong way but I think it creates a very bad impresssion as it shows that someone can do something really cruel and hurtful to a supposed friend without any disciplinary action or repercussions because in a couple of weeks it will all be forgotten about, which doesn’t really happen. As you say there has to be shown an element of the real world in these storylines. It does agrivate me that they do these things but don’t carry them through to a sensible and realistic conclusion.:wall:

hi matty :cheer: no I not seen those soaps but did see something today about rob mallard who played connor he has thing called essential tremor which means he can shake slightly. I know someone with parkinsons and its related to that but fair play to him for speaking out about it.
obvs not mad about the character of connor but rob seems very nice guy and he told the producer of ed who thought it was cos he was nervous in the role

As for Brenda, she is playing with Bob and Laurel, for sure. I'm not sure where she will end up going with this but I suspect that it may well last to the day of their planned wedding. She might leave Bob at the altar or perhaps she will turn up and reveall the Borel affair in front of all the guests, including Bob's children.
Hopefully, it would be good if she was the one that moved in. ��

Emmerdale needs less 'Holyoaks' and more realism with characters that do not continually change personalities and stories that pay at least a little respect to reality and the recent history of the village.

yea agree eddie and thing is ed can do some sls very well like Aaron's abuse and the Ross one where it seems they put a lot of effort into them but then they fall back to supposed comedy that is sometimes just childish nonsense and endless cheating stuff that is utterly boring and gives the impression they just think "now who can we put together next" without any real thought to the charecter

I was thinking exactly the same thing - the rare toilet humour comment is ok in a comedic situation but it’s now at the point where it’s mentioned just for sake of it. :nono:
Apart from the Ross & Moses scene which I thought was nice, Moses smile/laugh was so sweet - there really wasn’t really much else of any great interest in that episode.
Michael Parr is performing brilliantly. Lots of superb acting from him. However, I don't like the character of Ross and I'm not very interested in the story because of that. I just don't care for the man that shot and nearly killed Robert. To make matters even worse for me, I can't stand Debbie and she's the other half of this story line.

I agree I can’t really get invested in this story for those same reasons. 👍
I think Emmerdale Facebook Page has slipped up. They are showing a scene labeled ‘Replay’ between PD & Vic and it hasn’t even aired yet. It makes PD out to be even less likeable - I wouldn’t have thought that was the best thing to do if they are looking for sympathy.:hmm:

I am not keen on Ross character but Michael Parr is doing well and we need more interesting variety from ED with peoples personalities being shown rather than the rinse and repeat affairs and ONS stuff, they have some brilliant actors so they need to use them.

Hi my Fellow Robroners it looks like they doing the unfit mother with PD and its all leading to Robron looking after baby Seb mybe for a bit or long term if PD says somthing t Rob like you not the Dad soon and they do a DNA test and it proves Rob`s not Seb`s yeah there must be a reason That ED+IM that didnt kill of PD but like some say come on ED+IM give Robron some time togther as a family unit and have some happiness and fun yeah and give us fans some lovley romantic scenes yeah we had the reuinon ep which amazing and the moring after kiss but please give us a little more
It’s great to see Robert being so obvious at being fed up with PD interfering in his and Aaron’s private time. He really doesn’t give a stuff about her.:cheer::cheer:
Is it just me seeing something that isn’t there? Are they making a concerted effort that there is always a fair distance between PD and Robert when they are in a scene with all of them and Vic seems to do most of the talking to her direct and Robert hardly speaks! :hmm: i’m not complaining. :bow:
Just for the record I’ve gone right off Joe again - I’m at a loss what he thinks he’s going to get off Robert by using PD as a bargaining tool. :confused:

Morning my robron friends :cheer:
Now watched both last nite’s eps. Interesting how things are developing and changing with robron Rebecca and Seb. Still think its all leading up to the final reveal . . . but we shall see :cool:
Faith at the mill was funny but all a bit contrived and seems to have mainly been just to show again that the second flat is empty but sure it did quickly lead to the cutest bit of both eps was when the guyz were at the entrance to the mill as Faith was leaving. Together standing at the door of their own home and just so right :love:
Another contrived thing is with Joe. I think him against Robert (with Aaron by his side) might be good drama but what is it all about? He supposedly insulted him mother so he went to all the trouble to set up hidden cameras and to catch him doing what? Then supposedly he will use Rebecca, who is already away with the little people. Meanwhile it seems he doesn’t even trust his main man. I suppose it will all make sense at some point but as long as Robert comes out on top, as he will :thumbsup:

Cos I could wind back I did notice a little continuity error when Belle and Lachlan were selling beer outside the pub and faith as a swig. An extra walks by but then seems to vanish into thin air in the next shot :confused:

As I understand it, Gabby does take the blame. However, Liv feels very guilty. Then, a few days later, she confesses to also having been involved in the poisoning incident.

The fact that some silly person has made a silly comment on another site has got nothing to do with the rest of us on this site, Robron fans and non-Robron fans. So, I'm at a loss as to what point you are trying to make, other than that the very silly person that you are quoting has successfully trolled you into reacting.
No sensible Emmerdale fans hate baby-Seb or any other baby in the soap. Some may feel that they do not want Robron to have a baby live with them, whilst others may believe that Seb is Ross' child and so on. But, that sort of thing is what soapy dramas are all about. With drama comes discussion and different points of view. It's why we all watch them and it is what makes them, and a site like this one, fun.
