Yes yet again, ED is pretty strange to watch at the moment, normally even without Robron I always found some interesting things but tonight a lot of it was so weak,the Carly story was touching but Cain/Harriet was a farce and totally unbelievable, I quite like Faith but the scenes tonight were messy and unclear & I cannot remember if there was anything else it was so vanilla.
I must have zoned out at some point tonight because I was under the impression that everybody was trying to get in touch with Carly because she'd left the country again and then suddenly Bob & Marlon were in the churchyard with her - when did they find out she was there? I should maybe go back and rewatch that bit and then I may understand how that happened.:confused:
Bob wanted to visit Billy's grave and Marlon knew where he was buried. So they just happened to be there at the same time.
afternoon fellow Robron fans cant wait for having our Aaron free and our Robron are reuntied and i bet will get a lovely hug+kiss when meet each other after the release and i hope we get to see Rob go and get his husband just the 2 of them and have a lovely momment together i did hear we might get a lovely kiss like the one we had before the SSW i really hope we do and i still belive ED+IM will give us fans something back to keep us onside just keep the faith and we have our Robron moving into Mill Cott in the spring so whatever happens they must be ok and like i said they be alot stronger from it we have the best power couple in our Robron and will get through anything and we got the amazing Actors in our Danny+Ryan
The Chas & Faith scenes were really good last night they gave Faith a back story and the final Faith scene was definetly not expected. It was very moving.
That's the difference between the Faith character and Bride of Chucky character. Faith has many dimensions to her she can be comedic, devious, sympathetic and emotional but Chucky Bride is one dimensional and they haven't really given her any points that you can really endear to. Making a believable back history for someone all helps to how a character is seen by the viewers.

I was watching the scene where Finn and Aaron were at the hospital and Finn said to Aaron "you're gaydar must be good to spot Robert" but of course we all know it wasn't brilliant and it was Robert who pursued Aaron - Shame Aaron didn't say that to Finn and I wonder what his reaction would have been

Very interesting. Has there perhaps been someone leaking too much info or maybe something has been leaked that wasn't actually fact? We did say a while ago that we wondered how long before there was a cut back on what was spoiled before an episode. At one time you only got to know things a week in advance - not weeks!:hmm:

Well personally I feel that tonight would have been good if we'd only had the actual Ashley scenes and the Faith scenes and didn't need Doug playing the carrot and the unnecessary karaoke and Davids bum on the book cover. Do we really need two episodes on a Thursday - it only makes time for more unneeded filler stuff. Sorry, to rant just missing the boys on screen.

Totally agree. We just want to move on from this as soon as possible and get rid of some of the people involved and I don't mean Robert and Aaron.

I think:ninja:actually knows what happened and could tell that :cartman:had something like that to tell him when they were in prison - he can read him like a book. I would like to see this make them join forces - they need to get Chucky Bride out of their lives for good and let her know exactly where she stands - she can't realistically be accepted as a friend any longer. Any self respecting woman would have left while her dignity was still sort of intact. :rolleyes:
So Robert gets to know about Sandra off screen. No attempts to talk to Aaron or the prison to let him know what's happened. In the scene where Chas tells Liv, her & Robert seem to get on ok. Then in the scene where Liv & Chas are leaving - not even a goodbye between Robert & Liv. Chas in one breath tells Robert to take care of her boy and then in the next breath in ear shot of everyone she tells him if he puts a foot wrong she will tell Aaron about him & Chucky Bride - wasn't she the one who said this was to be kept between them. The continuity in that was terrible considering that's the last scenes they are going to be doing together for months - but maybe that was the whole point not to make a big thing of the temporary exits. Perhaps that's the big shock news that comes later, that they will be away for a long time.:hmm:
I realise this is very shallow but I have to say Robert did look mighty fine.:angel::)

I just watched tonights episode and the departure of Liv and Chas was OK as they only think they they are going for a week (one week is what Robert has paid for) and they looked like they were in a rush as well as Ross was obviously taxiing them to the airport. Remember, its only us that know Liv and Chas are off screen for longer, if we only thought it was going to be a week then we probably wouldn't have minded those scenes either. Chas was hardly discreet with her comments to Robert but deafness seems to be common in that village.
Didn't Lucy say she wasn't leaving for that long so she didn't really want a big exit and we know Liv is not out for too long either, I wonder what the far fetched tail IainMc has conjured to explain their 'massively longer than a week' departure from the village.
Liv and Robert might have hugged at the taxi door.

You're right of course that it's only because we know that Lucy & Isobel are off for a while that there were thoughts that the departure was a bit half hearted but to the general viewer they'll probably be expecting them back in a couple of weeks.
People do tend to only hear things if it's part of the plot line, should be used to that by now.
That's right about Liv & Robert - after all he found out about the accident off screen so why wouldn't they say their good byes off screen - it's natural really, especially as it's not supposed to be for long and Liv was understandably anxious to get away and would be preoccupied.
Must stop over analysing every scene.:D

The whole thing is a pile of poo but not really a surprise, we have been expecting that lose tart to be pregnant BUT nothing is currently as it seems, if this plays out "as is" then Soap Life have leaked a massive massive spoiler to the whole world, why would ED reveal the big surprise NOW 2 weeks before it is going to happen. I smell a twist but I have so little regard for IainMc(Stupid) that the story really could be this transparent and he could be so thick as to ruin Robron - I am still going to wait and see.
The week of The Emmerdale Fam Club Weekend is hardly the best time for this story - if it's true - to be released! :hmm:
I will wait and see how this plays out but I'm getting a bit tired of using that reason now for watching as at one time it used to be I watched ED because I really enjoyed the storylines. :eek:

I just feel at the moment that ED is like a long car journey you didn't want take.
The start was clunky and depressing (ONS), the scenery along the way have been tedious and disappointing, your never sure what is around the next corner but you're pretty sure you are not going like it, the destination is unknown and uncertain, you pass through towns and one called Context was foggy and you could not make out what was happening there - overall its a journey you didn't want to make. Finally the driver keeps lying about where you are going and strangely he has been very quiet for a while now :wall:

I definetly feel like I'm on that journey and keep thinking I should just stop it and not go on any further but then think maybe this corner will have something good around it and I'll be disappointed if I've missed it. :eek:

I find the whole pregnancy thing totally boring and predictable and the is she, isn't she, is he, isn't he, equally as boring, it has been said so many times on here over the last 2-3 weeks but the prison/Aaron/Robert storyline had so much potential with many other interesting possibilities:-
Drugs - how does Aaron cope after stopping them outside prison
Torture - what actually happened to Aaron after what we saw - Jason/Ethan/Drugs & delivering of them/beatings, the list goes on and on. Aaron's release, this could have been exploited massively from the phycological perspective pre & post.
Loneliness - Robert and Aaron missing each other, how they cope etc ... the Robert sleeping on the sofa was so OOC for him and could/should have been exploited.
Appeal- the appeal just happened off screen with the occasional casual mention when it was so important to the story - how was it appealed and so on
Liv - they could have still had the Sandra accident storyline for her and Chas's exit but made more of it and would have given drama for Robron on Aaron's release
Wedding - a proper one
New home - moving in etc
Now IainMc may have plans for all of these (I am being generous), we had Robert prepared to drown YES drown with Aaron rather than abandon him in that car, he has be celibate for a year whilst caring and pursuing Aaron, these two things make the ONS just ridiculously unbelievable for ED (yes in HO), he simply would not have done it, he knows Aaron and he would have gone back to the prison and confronted Aaron first - lazy thinking/lazy story telling/lazy writing.
Instead we are currently presented with the lazy, boring, uninteresting rubbish and at the same time IainMc has obviously closed down most of the story leaks - sorry and rant over.

hi Don im always postive about Our Robron its just the stupid Writers who havent a clue how to write about our Robron only our Maxine and mybe a couple more and im keeping posting postive Robron until we have a Robron reuinion this week and get a hug+kiss to say how much they missed each other and i say we get another lovely scene again on thurs and friday and im sure IM+ED will give us fans something back just to keep us onside our ROBRON ARE FOREVER END OFF

what i see as a problem atm is that the writting for Robron has been rubbish and the writers havent a clue and i bet Danny+Ryan cant belive what have to do they are much Robron fans as we are and cant understand it only Maxine and 1 or 2 others who can write great Robron eps but like i say we got maxine`s eps to sort it out and like i say IM+ED know they messed up and im sure they will give us some lovely momments when are Robron are reunited tommorw and over the next few eps and beyond so just like IM said it be bumpy and hard but they will come through stronger with it so hole in there our Robron wil be fine and ED+IM knows that what they got in our Robron the only best thing they get as a power couple in Emmerdale and great actors in both Danny+Ryan
I probably shouldn't but I felt so sorry for Robert tonight - he does feel so guilty about what he's done and you can tell he deeply regrets ever getting into that situation and seeing his sister become friends (suddenly) with you know who is getting to him. He would have hated lying to Vic -saying it was because of a business deal he'd fallen out but if he's going to have to come clean about it he won't want to say anything to anybody before he tells Aaron himself, he's only doing what Chas told him to do. It's so plotty these sudden Bex & Ross friendships. I have no sympathy for Bex at all during any of this and - she has such an opinion of herself that nobody can possibly be better than her.

Just watched tonights episode, Robert oozed guilt from every pore tonight, he looked almost perspiringly guilty, he clearly has the deepest regret for sleeping with Rebecca and probably wishes she would vanish off the face of the earth without a trace (join the club).
Rebecca is obsessed with Robert, Ross is a device she is using him, Robert will I am sure tell her she is nothing to him any more and never will be in the way she wants and as others have said I think she will twist and turn the truth to trap Robert and try to destroy what he has with Aaron, I do not believe she accepts Robert is in love with a man and he loves that an more than he ever did or would love her - I was hoping the bumps along the way IainMc mentioned was the bump Robert would feel when he ran over her in the Porsche !!!!!
it will surely be an interesting couple of weeks.
On the will 'Aaron forgive Robert' note, I also think Aaron will be angry but after the prison discussion confusion I think they will talk it through, it will be difficult and angsty but the will stick together (hope personified here)
Just watched tonights episode, Robert oozed guilt from every pore tonight, he looked almost perspiringly guilty, he clearly has the deepest regret for sleeping with Rebecca and probably wishes she would vanish off the face of the earth without a trace (join the club).
Rebecca is obsessed with Robert, Ross is a device she is using him, Robert will I am sure tell her she is nothing to him any more and never will be in the way she wants and as others have said I think she will twist and turn the truth to trap Robert and try to destroy what he has with Aaron, I do not believe she accepts Robert is in love with a man and he loves that an more than he ever did or would love her - I was hoping the bumps along the way IainMc mentioned was the bump Robert would feel when he ran over her in the Porsche !!!!!
it will surely be an interesting couple of weeks.
On the will 'Aaron forgive Robert' note, I also think Aaron will be angry but after the prison discussion confusion I think they will talk it through, it will be difficult and angsty but the will stick together (hope personified here)

Hi, I'm a glutton for punishment I just can't give up yet. I think I'm resigned to the fact that they did actually - you know!! Mind I would still like something to come out that they hadn't. But still holding out that it's a false result or at least not his. Even my punishment levels wouldn't put up with her doing the expectant Mother bit for the next 8 months and the prospect of her permanently being attached to the boys in some way. Soapy drama or not this isn't really what I signed up for and I've watched ED for a lot of years. :wall:
Maybe being a bit naive but still being positive that there is maybe still something hidden and things will work out for the boys in the end.:cheer:

This pregnancy thing does not sit right somehow. So Chucky Bride knows for definite that she is 4-5 weeks gone and it is definitely Roberts. All this without having it confirmed by a Medical person and any further tests being done. She must be a lot more educated than we thought! I still feel there is something going to happen here - it all seems too neat and tidily packaged in such a short space of time.:hmm:

The woman obviously has no self respect if she's been in love with him for four years after he did that to her - or she's just got no brains!
I have absolutely no sympathy for her at all and I can't say I'm annoyed with anything that Robert said to her - because I'm not.
This has got to be the worst storyline that could possibly have been done and all to keep what is obviously IM's favourite character in the forefront of the show and make everybody like her and feel sorry for her - don't think so - it's too late for that and to try and achieve it he's ruining the golden couple who have been part of the reason they've won awards.
The only saving grace from this rubbish tonight is the amazing chemistry that Robert/Ryan & Aaron/Danny have when they are having conversations together - this makes you want them to work through this and come out stronger.

The spoilers have been so off recently I thought the Aaron confronting Robert would have happened after the picnic so now I am less sure, it does however seem strange that Aaron hasn't yet said anything about what damaged Robert did at The Mill, more questions about Rebecca and more so Robert's current behaviour which is pretty strange and certainly something Aaron would notice.
What I am getting however, is Aaron is very very fragile, he seems quite happy but when he and Robert talk alone you can tell he is vulnerable after the dreadful prison ordeal. Some have said they don't want Aaron to be relying on Robert but he has to reply on him, he sees him as his husband/partner/lover/everything so of course he is reliant and more so at this moment.
What I also see is Robert has cocked up massively with the ONS and he knows it especially now we know he has got the posh tart up the duff previously so he knows she pretty careless. His current behaviour is very Robert, he also obviously absolutely loves Aaron, I really think he would have told him if Chas hadn't stopped him but prison was the wrong place and I am afraid no matter how much people may disagree that now isn't the right time either, Aaron needs to build his physical and mental strength.
I am afraid that the plot/story has been so unbelievably predictable its shocking, where I thought we would have "twist and turns" the old cliches came tumbling out in the same old boring way. I am therefore less hopefully after every episode for some massive twist, I think the hopes of "he didn't actually shag her" or "she is actually 2 months gone" so it cannot be Robert's are not going to happen, we will get the usual crap, I had high hopes from IainMc after SSW and other great stuff but he has fallen in to this dreadful plot, ruining Robron and all the work of the past couple of years. I would love someone from ED to give some indication of where this is going as its awful to see some great people on here giving up on something they loved.
ED must must must know that this story is going down like a comedian at a funeral, they will either arrogantly continue to plod along into the wilderness of dreadfulness or they are already amending things to get people back on board - IainMc's ego will probably plod down the wilderness route.

I think we are all wondering when is IM going to decide he can't bring any more problems into this SL.
I guess they mean the legacy baby because Robert is the last of the real Sugden blood line and a baby would carry the name on - but I would have thought it would have to be a boy for that to happen. As you say why would Aaron even consider bringing up a robecca child as it would be a constant reminder of what happened.
I'm still hoping that something is going to happen and she either isn't pregnant or the baby is definetly proved not to be Roberts.
It does make you wonder if he knows what twists and turns etc actually means - it can mean bad but also can mean good and all we've had lately is bad - getting worse - which is not clever and can become very boring.

So, that's how Ross finds out. As simple as that. In fact Ross going to the clinic to meet that bitch was easily the most believable part of that episode.
Are we really supposed to believe that Ross would keep his mouth shut? No way. He would et as much money as he can and still reveal the secret.
At a rough guess I would say if you just left in the scenes that Chucky Bride wasn't in tonight - the episode would probably have been about 5-10 mins long. :wall:
We couldn't even get a cute scene of our boys going out for a run without her appearing.:(
i'm quite pleased that Robert & Aaron are going away for a couple of weeks after tomorow because at least it would give Ryan & Danny a rest from having to try and make something watchable from this constant piling one twist and turn on top of another.:rolleyes:

Robron get home and move in to The Mill, Ross and Posh-Slag try to blackmail again and :cartman: refuses, :ninja: walks in tells them he knows everything and they are reporting both of them to the police for blackmail, Ross gets banged up finally and she runs away for ever ....... if ED want a new writer "I Am Free"

She told Ross that Robert had told her about the blackmail. Ross made a sarcastic comment to Bex that she and Robert would make a good couple if it wasn't for his husband.

They went to Mauritius- he checked with his Probation Officer and as long as he kept in regular touch with him it was ok for him to go. Not actually sure if he would have been able to go that far - but it is Soapland after all!!

(Remember - we may not be happy with this being off screen but hey, a lot of things just seem to happen or be OK and of course we have to see the context as well)
They return home and prepare to move in to The Mill, Posh-Slag comes round and Robert tell her he has told Aaron, she then announces to Aaron she is up the duff and its Robert's, Aaron of course gives Robert one of his looks and they agree that they will support the child (yuck), she has of course lied about he baby is humiliated by Robron and her family and leaves ED for ever and ever - as she leaves the village her bizarre hair and hats get caught in the combine harvester and she is never seen again (OK this bit is a little silly)

Both scenarios are good - maybe 2. might be slightly more realistic - not that I would object to Posh-Slag's bits getting caught in the combine harvester if that was to happen.
I'm with you on the no break up and no child and maybe daft on my part but I'm still not 100% convinced that they actually slept together!!

Those days have gone, at least for the moment.
It's not just because Aaron and Robert are not on screen, it's because a lot of the other storylines are just silly (like David, Tracy and that book) or too predictable (Adam and Victoria) or just too unpleasant (the Rhona stuff).
Good, unpredictable stories are needed.

Wasn't going to watch tonight but did in the end - the most part of the episode was ok but nothing great - thought it a bit strange that there were so few people actually at the wedding and two of them were the brides exes. It was very uncomfortable to watch the end bit - if was obvious what was going to happen - at least they left a lot to the imagination but it was still pretty clear what was going on. Surely they can't drag this on for months as has been talked about as it would be difficult to watch.
Adam & Vic are really annoying me - both giving up on their marriage so easily without any proper discussions.
Bring back our boys and get their storyline sorted and give them something new to do and it might brighten up ED and make it a pleasurable watch again!

I have been known to get into all the corners and all those awkward nooks and crannies when the need arises. :moonie::p
So to make sure that the lovely Bex🤢gets screen time - last night they put her in a scene with Adam & Vic and she doesn't say a word and just try's to look thoughtful - not!! Then she's in another scene where's she's telling Vic not to do anything hasty while she's drunk and she'll get her a coffee to sober her up. Practice what you preach girl!!😠
The Rhona & Pierce scenes are hard to watch - he is an evil man.

I feel there is a lot of errors in the way this 'feel sorry for her' article is written

He didn't force her to have an abortion - he said the time wasn't right - he didn't hold a gun to her head.
"then he tricked her to Emmerdale and led her into believing there was hope for them there wasn’t, got her pregnant again,"
He got to ED to clear Andy's name there was no mention that he tricked her there by making her believe they'd get together and how did he supposedly get her pregnant again at this point?
"she tried to move on with her life with Ross and just at the point she was doing that Robert got drunk, rang her up and seduced her again"
He didn't ring her - he texted her and I wouldn't call what he did seduction - it was more of a drunken come on that she fell for.
Maybe I'm reading too much into this but it's seems to be written to make it look that Robert was totally to blame for everything and a lot of the things we saw on screen didn't play out as they were described on here - especially the timing of the supposedly second pregnancy.

Things do appear to be looking up a bit for our boys thanks goodness.
Think you better read that bit about sleeping together again as he answered No, to was there any doubt that they had slept together which reads as, they did, but that doesn't mean to say anything actually happened!! He maybe literally fell asleep - still living in hope!
Hopefully once these May episodes air we may be getting back on track to something more positive. 🙂

so its all looking good for the future of our Robron going by what was said which is good news anyway yeah and of course they be fine and this 1 hour that IM said about that chould be about clear the air and sorts it out and they be moving into Mill Cott anyway yeah mybe thate`s a twist in there and like i said the other day that we find out that Rob is not the father soon and not Rob who still thinks he is mybe shes not even pregant of its Ross`s or something yeah and like i said the love they got for each other will come through and get past it and b stronger in the end and i bet our Maxine eps to come mybe its here eps that will it up and i be we get a lovely seen when they move in a kiss and hug and going the pics we seen of the front Door of Mill Cott it must soon and IM said Robron eps is early may but they not back on our screens till about 15th MAY

Well IainMc has confirmed to us all that he is living in a parallel universe where what he sees on screen is the opposite of what the viewer sees, he is deluded, there has never been any presentation which would allow us to feel sorry for Rebecca, had this been presented properly we would have been discussing it on her quite openly and honestly and we would have been extremely upset with Robert not just for the ONS but for his treatment of her and that hasn't happened - the man is an idiot.
Otherwise, I am actually quite happy with what has been released:-
1. I get the impression Robron will stick with it and work through it, I know some would like them to split for a while but for me thats already been done, lets see some mature discussions and working through their issues.

Yes, perhaps something will appear during the day. Usually at bank holidays, magazines are released earlier rather than later but anway, we have to be patient.
We will see the usual Monday night/Tuesday morning spoilers go up gradually after midnight. I doubt there will be any Robron clues/spoilers there but you never know. :lol:

For sure. Ross will demand more money from Robert. Robert will refuse and at that point Ross will tell Aaron.
Though I do hope that Robert will tell Aaron, I can't imagine the Emmerdale production team will be able to resist a public reveal and humiliation for Aaron.
It's a shame if they do it as a public reveal - I feel a private reveal between the two of them would be much more meaningful and realistic - but as you say ED probably won't be able to resist the public humiliation factor - it would be good to be proved wrong though. 🙂

Afternoon Matty! :cheer: Hopefully if these death rumours are right it should only be Emma & Lawrence that are affected - I would think our boys should be safe with any luck - they've had enough trauma thrown at them this year already. I'm still trying to be positive that this baby definetly isn't Roberts and we might find something out next week before the boys return the week after. I think it's getting to the point that we have to accept that maybe they did sleep together but it may still come out that nothing actually happened - we can still live in hope. This 1hr episode should be good - that is when Rob is supposed to reveal it - I do hope it's a private thing between them as it would mean so much more and I'm sure Maxine will do our boys proud and give us fans something good. This reveal needs to happen and get this story moving on - it's dragged on for too long now - let our boys start to rebuild their lives together and get Chucky Bride away from them. Robron ❤️ forever!!

Maybe I'm wrong but I really don't find Lydia getting a job at Home Farm as a cleaner and her being so upset because her bird has died a source of entertainment and a need for screen time.
These boys (and after all, that's what they are) terrorising the village is ridiculous - it's just giving yobs the idea that they could get away with doing it and surely from the latest threatening behaviour that should be enough to get the police involved in some way.
Emma's religious conversion and constant scripture quoting is becoming painful to watch and at the end of the day she's hypocritical when you see the things she gets up to behind people's backs - where is her turn the other cheek and forgiveness there?
I feel they are really struggling to fill the episodes at present.
Sorry for the rant guys, I'm really missing our boys as we really need something to get involved in again storyline wise and they are some of the few that can do that.:cheer:
