Well you're not missing much on the other thread - the posts seem to be about Rebecca again invading Robron scenes, although I pointed out that they could be invading her scenes :moonie: Frankly I don't care as long as they're both on screen and Aaron looked pretty chilled and relaxed in that preview clip :wub:

I think that Liv is going to be taken into care (or threatened with it) as a consequence of Aaron being seen as an unsuitable guardian. Liv will then develop other problems (drugs or alcohol) as she tries to deal with her fears, insecurities and anxieties.
I think the prison theories of so many posters on Digital Spy are wrong. I told them so but I was completely dismissed. Even if Aaron were to receive a prison sentence it would be a short one or suspended. It is not the reason for the dark times ahead. That has something to do with Liv or, less likely, Chas.

I do think this dark times SL iis going to be about Liv & alcohol. IM said the seeds have already been sown for her story and I've just been looking back at some past episodes from the last few months and her stealing drink have been quite obvious and frequent and she tried to get them to give her a drink when they bought Mill and also tried to sneak a drink on Christmas Day - the signs are there. :hmm:

What I really like about being here, apart from all the happy, friendly people, obviously, is that we are all on an equal footing and here for the same reason. No one things they are, or know, better than anyone else. We all have opinions about things and can discuss where necessary and come to a calm and rational conclusion listening to everyone's views in the process. I'm sure we all agree!:cheer:

Yeah that other thread had a really weird vibe today (has for a while to be honest!). I didn't agree with what AndyM said but clearly him and :sick: don't get on and WW3 is breaking out!!! Obviously the Robron AT has got lost somewhere in translation :moonie:
What I really like about being here, apart from all the happy, friendly people, obviously, is that we are all on an equal footing and here for the same reason. No one things they are, or know, better than anyone else. We all have opinions about things and can discuss where necessary and come to a calm and rational conclusion listening to everyone's views in the process. I'm sure we all agree!:cheer:

I hope you're right Matty that this doesn't go on much longer and that at most it ends up with a suspended and not a jail sentence. They are bound to keep us guessing right until the last minute.:D

It was good hearing Robron talk/bicker about cupboard handles and colour schemes - all I will say is 'they don't need someone to muscle in on the Interior design, PLEASE!!'. :D

They've made a real hash of this storyline so far with the Sugdens except for Diane, it's really unfair to have them excluded. Even Doug has been involved which is a real shame aside from the fact he's boring he's not even related to Sarah.

I also thought last night was OK, the :cartman: & :ninja: scenes were nice and domestic, them chatting about doing up their new home and as is normal in relationships tastes are not always the same. It was funny that :ninja: was doing the dirty work and :cartman: pottering around with a glossy magazine - hilarious :D
I didn't mind Bex last night, she's a bit annoying, I don't like slagging actors but for me she is a bit wooden and unbelievable (false) I am however, just glad she has stopped pursuing :cartman: ED throw enough sh*t at Robron without having another spanner.
Although I do like the angst it would be lovely, after this current story arc, to have them:-
1. On screen
2. Happy and shown as a couple + family focused on Liv and Sarah (lots of lovely potential emotionally)
3. Doing up and moving in to Emmerdale Mill, shopping for stuff and having little rows about wall paper and toilet roll holders
Just for a while anyway.
I am getting quite curious about how the wedding comes about now.

It was the typical scenario last night - Robert the organising business man and Aaron the heavy lifter and muck shifter! It'll be interesting to see who wins out on the choice of colour scheme - compromise - no doubt!👍🏻

I do hope that this dark period isn't going to be too bad as a happier period would be good.

Well what a hot bed of frustration and upset it is on here tonight, doom and glooms'ville.
I have finally watched the eps back to back and well, whats all the silliness about, Robert has been working on a major project with Rebecca for several weeks, he went to Home Farm and Rebecca was upset so he talked to her, he didn't touch/hug/kiss her nor did I see heart eyes from either person, I just saw Robert talking to Rebecca about her family, people he knows very well, he doesn't like Lawrence or Chrissie hence he is telling Rebecca she is entitled to Home Farm as well (lets be honest if he keeps her on side she is a cash cow for him and Aaron). After the advice he left, lets be honest he is the only person who could move this story on for ED as Rebecca doesn't know anyone else well enough in the village. As such MY OPINION ONLY (not for debate) is he was acting innocently and in good faith.
The later scenes were just bland and had little meaning, Robert was being Robert (don't tell them what you've done) whats new there then, Rebecca ignored him (if she still loved him or thought there was a chance she would have listened as she would have thought she could tie up with him and not be alone). So MY OPINION ONLY on the second part is it was meaningless, Robert was used today to give weight and depth to the Rebecca/Chrissie/Lawrence/Lachlan borefest it was nothing connected to Robert/Rebecca hooking up.
Don't shoot me this is my take on it after viewing (I read all of the thread before watching to try and see if I could better see the issues raised in the thread and I couldn't, if I agreed with the angst here I would say so).
We have what we never thought would happen coming up, a Robron wedding, lovely scenes (hopefully) and Robert/Aaron showing everyone that they are in love and committed to each other.
On that note, lets all have a love in and stop arguing on here. Its not my place to preach but one thing that would help is if several posters would stop repeating the same thing (written in different ways) make your point and move on, others will comment, accept their views and move on otherwise the thread becomes really heavy going and it should be a fun place, we have great people on here so don't show the MF that we are not aligned, we are all on the same bus, the Robron bus..

That's interesting so 3,4 or even 5 episodes for the wedding 'day'. Maxine said her episodes on Tuesday and the first Thursday were linked. It seems to me we'll have Monday: wedding morning prep, Tuesday: wedding day angst and Thursday the ceremony. I think any trial will probably be in the Thursday hour.

I am still 50/50 on :ninja: going to prison it could be someone else e.g. Finn or it could be scenes for Lachlan or indeed it could be absolutely anything, I suppose I am just hoping its not :ninja:. Also we haven't heard much about Danny NOT filming have we, if he is in prison he wouldn't do that much filming would he unless its a short spell and they want to keep :ninja:/Robron on screen for the next stage of the story.

Completely off topic - I have a friend in the real world who gets extra parts in movies etc. He told everyone he knows that he'd got a part in a big movie that was coming out and everyone had to go and see it - so we did - and guess what - his scene in the movie was cut so he was never seen. Not many extras in productions make a big deal of it as it can be embarrassing.:D

They wear uniform after they have been convicted but not whilst they are on remand awaiting for the trial.
That photo puzzles me. Why is everyone talking about it. There is nothing to link it with any storyline involving Aaron. Or have I missed something?

Hi - it is on the Emmerdale Instagram page but then again there's also a one on there for one of the other soaps as well so I wouldn't have taken that as 100% proof that it involves Aaron imo. :hmm:

Well I've just watched and lets say it was a little underwhelming.

Robert has tried to surprise Aaron twice to show he loves him, first time to ask him to marry him and Aaron ruined it by kidnapping Lachlan, second time the Vegas trip when Aaron got jealous and he forced Rebecca to tell him.
I wonder if Robert has been arranging the wedding secretly (maybe with Chas) and on the 20th we suddenly discover that he has everything sorted and its a massive surprise for Aaron. The panic attack could be the pre-wedding issue that puts Roberts plans at risk yet again?
We know they would be married by now in LV if Aaron hadn't had his insecurities and been arrested.

From the vid that Ryan did giving a sneak preview of the pub all set up - it did look a lot of decoration that had been done in a short space of time - so I think you're right it!s another:cartman:arranged surprise - if only it could go ahead without a hitch for once. :cheer:

I didn't express myself very well there as I didn't mean to give the idea of liking her any better than anyone else - to be honest - until people starting mentioning the names of writers as much I didn't realise there were so many different ones so I've never really noticed who wrote each episode. You would think that the writers would work together so can't really say that one would be better than the other. Sorry that was a bit drawn out.
I still feel it's a bit too obvious that :ninja:is going to end up going to prison.
I think it would be very romantic if :cartman:had arranged the wedding as a surprise. :heart:
