i was a bit (a bit?) pissed off with ED stunt with the witch i put myself for work tonight... so will be missing more posts tonight but will backread tomorrow :)

I think we're all pissed off about that too - she's just awful! She really is the visual equivalent of nails down a blackboard for me.

Emmerdale christmas episode always airs really early.

I have to agree. As much as I like Danny's fluffy hair, it does differentiate him from Aaron. I think he looks good either way. I must admit I have no preference between Danny or Ryan looks wise. They're both very cute :heart:
I'm sort of not looking forward to tonight because of the silly nature of it. I'm sure there will be good Robron stuff though before and after the court stuff.
Ryan is my preference because he's bang in my age range + he's not fussed with going out and stuff unlike Danny who is still very much a lad who wants to go out drinking. I'd certainly not kick either out of bed and would invite both of them at the same time for sure :angel:. In fact that sounds heavenly to me :D.

hiya yes it was great well done maxine brought our robron back of course it was set up yeah always knew it was and those kisses was good and i think Aaron will be ok of course he be annoyed with Rob wheh he hears about the kiss but if Ron tell him it was a set up he will trust Rob loved the ILY`s and thye rings and the lets go up stairs so romantic and the talk about the wedding got more faith that we will hear more talk the wedding over the few weeks yeah bex wont win he told her so much tonight yeah and if Rob tells aaron the same thing he be ok and we have Robron moving into mill cott all good things to who waits

Brilliant episode tonight, a completely different vibe about it when Maxine does the ep much like SSW, the dialog runs so much better with more depth in all the scenes. The jail break was a foolish idea bizarre plot to throw in the mix but so glad Robert came to his senses he seemed to enjoy the acting element of the jail break attempt in the ease in which in conned that guy. :ninja:
Nice to see some wedding talk and the scenes between Aaron & Robert were 10/10 and finally Robert once again made his feelings clear to Becky, hopefully the Penny drops this time round. Robert was so loved up with Aaron, I wish he'd managed to tell him the truth before Rebecca does tomorrow I think he'll be more upset at the dishonesty aspect and he'll kick off but clearly it's not too bad. Roll on tomorrow. :)

Regarding closing the kiss issue down, I am not sure Robert really needed to mention the kiss to Aaron, he made it VERY clear it was meaningless to Bex and he was using her so in Roberts head the matter is closed it wasn't a kiss to him and not a betrayal of Aaron. He was honest with Aaron that he had lied about where he was that afternoon and shared he was with Bex so he further confirmed to Aaron that he was trying to change and not lie to him. Tomorrow from the clip she lies about Rob wanting to get in to her underwear which is obviously untrue. After todays masterpiece lets hope we see further brilliant scenes with Robron and I hope Aaron or Rob or both shut Bex down in the pub with a few cutting remarks

I'm here too :cheer: Absolutely loved last night's episode and I must admit that I've watched it a few times since :). In fact I like the whole episode. Felt really sorry for Finn because he's obviously grieving, rooting for Frank to be forgiven by his daughters, rooting for Coira to be reunited and intrigued by Emma's intentions - does she want to move herself into Moira's farm :hmm: The best bit for me was knowing that we were right to keep faith in Robert and know that he was playing her all along :love:. As we said.....if he wanted her he would've had her many times over :wub:

Yeah we had said it, but some refused to believe it or ignored it, more fool them for lacking faith and trust not only in Robert but in the show.
RobertxColin is iconic.
Looking forward to the spoilers tonight. Hopefully the Danny quotes will appear as well. It's my belief that maybe we wont see Rebecca 'trying' to cause trouble but maybe she just does because she's hanging around.

I've just watched the episode again and I'm probably reading too much into it and it was maybe just the way they filmed it but that scene from behind the court when Robert told her he was playing her - it felt like there was somebody watching them and Adam & Aaron did go out the door before that. Perhaps they saw them and the scene later in the pub was Aaron just testing him to see if he would tell the truth. I know I've entered the world of fantasy now!!��

Monday 12th Dec:
Liv confronts Jacob about not defending Gabby but when Aaron arrives he assumes Liv’s causing more trouble and grounds her.
Tuesday 13th Dec:
Chas and Aaron clear up after a rowdy party and Aaron concedes she was right about Liv and resolves to keep being firm with her. Liv tells Bernice about Gabby being bullied but feels wretched when Gabby gives her a filthy look and Aaron refuses to believe Liv when she tells him she was sticking up for Gabby.
Wednesday 14th Dec:
Liv swipes vodka from the shop as she heads off late for school. Rebecca’s amused to catch Liv attempting to break into Mill and tells Aaron what she’s up to. He finds his sister drinking and feels guilty he didn’t listen to her over Gabby being bullied. He hugs her and she begs him to find them a place of their own. She is desperate for them to have their own place. Aaron doesn’t want to use his dad’s money, but Liv implores him to use it for something positive. Later Aaron is furious when Rebecca who is ill informed over Aaron’s past makes a joke how he could afford to buy Mill.
Lisa goes on a date but will it go well? Marlon tells Paddy he’s punching above his weight when he asks what’s going on with Chas. Chas insists there’s nothing going on.
Thursday 15th Dec:
Revengeful Aaron breaks into the living room at Home Farm, freezing when he hears a noise. He’s relieved to see it's just Dog but he soon hears Rebecca and he rushes to the door taking the money from the safe with him. Rebecca notices the safe is open and empty but who will she suspect? Back at the pub, Chas and Aaron make amends but Rebecca walks in.
P2:
Will Aaron and Rebecca sort out their differences? Later, Liv's delighted when Aaron tells her they're buying Mill and Aaron seems happy everything is coming together until a drunken Moira comments on Robert and Rebecca's closeness.
Friday 16th Dec:
Paddy's got a sore cheek from being slapped as he tells Chas about Rhona rescuing him from Lydia who it turns out was a bit predatory and over keen. But Lydia suddenly arrives and this time it is Chas who steps in to rescue him.
Later, Paddy's hopeful there might be something more between him and Chas but is there?
Aaron tries not to be jealous as Rebecca asks for Robert's input once again.

I'm wondering if this jealousy and insecurity from Aaron is going to lead him to get cold feet at the wedding, therefore explaining the heartbreaking part of the SL. I think they will get married but I can see Aaron having issues. I mean they love to give Danny emotional stuff :)

I want them to be a happy couple. I do think there can be plenty of drama for them while being in a secure relationship. Neither of them has to have an actual affair to create it onscreen. I'm not worried for their relationship now at all, my worry will be how they're handled after they're married. Aaron has not really been that confident person in himself although much improved since he came out as he matured and went in to his first relationship with Jackson.
With Robert his relationship was as the lover knowing that Robert was engaged, getting and eventually got married and kept telling Aaron he loved Chrissie. Aaron then discovers that Robert also had an affair with Chrissie's sister so he is a serial cheater and quite brazen about it as well, once with a sister and the second time with a man its like the ultimate slap in the face. So Aaron knows Robert has a track record of cheating, he knows Robert is Bisexual and he knows of two occasions where Robert cheated on Chrissie (him being one of them). Therefore, Aaron WILL have niggling doubts, its human nature, Robert does have to prove he will be faithful but Aaron also has to allow Robert to be Robert and if they are to be a successful married couple he needs to trust Robert, Robert on the other hand has to respect Aaron and if he is getting in to something "Robertesque" then he needs to forewarn Aaron to avoid conflict.
Thats my thoughts anyway

I have always thought it strange that HF didn't have CCTV anyway, its a large house in a remote location and known to be occupied by people of some wealth and a business operation running there. I would have thought it would have been a mandatory part of getting their insurances renewed.
I always thought after the robbery that Lawrence would have covertly installed CCTV and caught Robron at it, I think ED missed a brilliant opportunity :D

We we have an hour tonight so hopefully we get some closure of where we left off yesterday, Aaron probably somewhat moody as I think Robert may be as well and then I hope they start to talk and plan to move forwards, hence the house discussion but lets wait and see as this week has been full of surprises. I hope we do get a nice hug/sorry/love you or Kiss, I don't mind which.

Morning - I really liked that make up scene on the sofa last night and felt it shattered any lingering pictures of anything that had happened in that position a few weeks ago. They even had Robert sitting in the position where he leant in for the kiss to Aaron which I thought was a nice touch. It had taken a while to get going but I was really pleased with how they brought everything to an end. 👍🏻

morning i loved lastnights episode to nice see Robron all family stuff with Liv and Chas im not to bothered with the Bex stuff i think its more to it yeah maybe when Aaron sees Rob with it could be that Rob tells her they moving in or setting the date for the wedding and he trusts Rob 100% and that Rob is telling him he loves him and he`s enough and nobody comes close it will be ok and the doubts will go and where`s Rob money gone? the £500.000 that he got for his share Of HIS share of HF? ED has forgot about that:wall::wall:

They'll probably have Ronnie helping out with the renovations as well.
Not sure why Rebecca will still be hanging around Robert & why he's letting her in future ep's. She's not to be trusted & obviously her presence with fuel Aaron's insecurities.
According to the schedule list I've got our boys aren't due on again until next Thursday - hope I've missed some!

I only knew that because I went and looked on old vid clips for that date last year to see if anything significant happened. Nothing for 2 Mar.
It's funny how you can look at an episode a second time and see it differently - watched tonight's again and actuallly found it a lot better and I'd misjudged the humour! ��
