Halfway is a very likeable character, got the feeling more to be revealed about the shrapnel wound. Seems to be well suited to Whitney.

For me, I don't see Max as the big villain. Top of the list in my book is Ian Beale so much outstanding comeuppance due, inc. prison. Closely followed by the squares master class coward Phil Mitchel. so good at threatening kids but has to call on his bessie mate Aidan for the hands-on stuff. What the hell business it's got to do with Phil ,who now owns the car lot is beyond me. I guess if some muscle bound guy was in charge Phil's head would be under the duvet :)

That was a strong emotional episode. EE doing what it does best. So we finally meant Darius and Umar. Good casting. The young cast were exceptional tonight, they really were. No words can describe Bonnie's performance, who would have thought she could be this good. Keegan is grieving but at the end of the day it is the lad who stabbed Shakil who is to blame and Keegan. If Keegan was not such an arrogant t**t stealing the bike then shakil would still be here. A shame EE will not get the ratings it deserves tonight because of BGT.

A good end to the week. I enjoyed Kim trying to be positive, we all know it would end in disaster. Nice scenes with Carmel, Kim and Denise. A let down it being Woody who took the money. The Stuart storyline is taking an interesting turn, not sure how this is going to pan out. I thought it was a nice touch at the end with the credits dedicating the episode to Leslie Grantham.

Nice touch with Charlie's taxi turning up. I quite like the "normal" scenes with Kathy. If I forget she is dead, the character fits well in the sqaure at the heart of what is going on, she does not need a major story line. I am one of the few EE fans that likes "normal" in a soap and EE can do with that right now. It is something Coronation Street used to do well but now fails miserably at.

I used to just not stand Kim and think she was dreadful, but she has been played a lot better, both as her comedy diva role, but also even more seriously like when she was concerned about what happened with Vincent. Plus, Denise and Kim really play off well against each other, they're two totally different characters as sisters, almost like Walfords equivalent of Birds of a Feather, but they are some of my favourites.
