EE has no idea how markets work. In the past Honey has told off stall holders for being late in opening for business, and refered to the council being unhappy about their earnings not being high enough, as if it takes a percentage. In all the markets I have ever visited I have never seen a market inspector like Honey, walking about with a clip board, interfering in traders business. Usually they are responsible for collecting pitch fees, and allocating casual pitches, which they usually do early and are hardly seen for the rest of the day.

Phil has never had many friends, or even any, apart from Minty and Nigel. When he had an "EMPIRE" he mentioned "mates" but we never saw any of them, and if we did, they were not people he socialised with. So he should be used to being on his own. His wives were more symbols of his social standing rather that love ones. I never really bought into the idea of him being this great lover. If he is lonely and depressed now, he is simply paying the price for treating everyone like sh*t.

The idea you can use egg boxes for sound proofing is a myth. Egg boxes are to protect eggs from being broken in transit, they do not sound proof, maybe cut down on echo if they cover a hard surface. Anyway if Bianca could find something to reach the door she could scrape them off. What's the other end of the chain fixed to? I find it hard to believe that Reiss foresaw that he would ever need to chain someone up, and had something cemented into the wall or floor for that purpose.

When I watch Eastenders nowadays I view it as a comedy programme. Not even someone as deluded as Cindy could really see themselves as the victim in this affair. As to calling the police, really? Kathy only has to deny it and Cindy has no proof, then shooting Ian in self defence, again really, Ian only has to remind Cindy it is against the law to have a gun. Much as Kathy hates Cindy I cannot see her trying to kill her. Celebrating the 40th anniversary. From gritty realism to over the top acting in 40 years. Mind you when presented with the current quality of scripts, actors have no option but to camp it up, to stop themselves bursting into laughter or tears.
Not a serious programme anymore but great entertainment.

Why did he have to move it at all, there was a space above the beam they could have climbed through. All that damage and no one killed in the explosion? Of the three girls Avani was the only non white, of the police officers it was the white officer who played the leading role, and who seemed to be taking pleasure in humiliating her in the strip search. While the other officer seemed to be showing some sympathy towards Avani, even though she did not say anything. Initially I thought this story was told quite well, that Avani was learning that having a smart mouth was not so smart after all. But now I feel it is developing into another police bashing tale. If the police acted within the law I am not sure that making a complaint will serve any purpose. The fact that Eve was the one to encourage, this seems to suggest that she ( or the writers) have forgotten that she is a lawyer.

I think it should have been Tommy for this story line, if perhaps he, Will and Ricky were in the same scenario, if could have been Tommy to be strip searched, this would have nothing to do with race, but shows just how easy it is for an innocent child to be wrong place wrong time.
It would have been ideal to give Tommy (who is also mouthy) a kick up the backside for being a brat, and appreciate that he had no one else to blame, unless he punched the police woman!!!

I spent so much of this episode trying to remember who was related to who, that I lost the thread of the story.

I have always felt that Eastenders bring back too many characters from the past. My memory of what happened in the past is not good enough when they refer to past history, especially if characters have been recast or when they rewrite history.

It was just nonsense! - How long would it stay there if it was left out on the street overnight, left on a trailer to make it easier to steal. Even if they did not take the boat, the outboard motor would not have survived. Probably be in the arches garage before you could say "Queen Vic".

When the police analyse the phone data it will show that Nicola was on the site the night before.
