Eastenders seems to be obsessed abouts sex, or in some cases, the lack of it, at the moment. I almost wish we could have another new gangster story. The way they write for Patrick it is easy to forget that he is in his eighties, unless he really is a superman.

I presume that it was his flat, very fortunate that he lives nearby. I found it very difficult to believe in this story. Did the Guy think Elaine was a much younger woman, because of the way she dresses, or has he got mummy issues. Personally I think George should have left her a long time ago, even if it means losing the Vic. I have never been invested in their relationship. I much preferred the original Elaine.

Bert and Ernie were not the only ones feeling sick in this episode, I was too. What a cringe fest this was. How could a limo disappear without anyone noticing? And to find an open top bus in a matter of minutes, especially as it was Jean and Billy who were charged with doing it. I do hope the wedding does go ahead, so that we can find out if Joel tricked Tommy into including a lot of toxic nonsense into his speech. How Eastenders won "Soap of the Year" I will never know, can only assume the others were thought to be worse.

Has George gone for good? Personally I would rather have seen Elaine go, I never saw them as a credible couple, but it does explain why he has been acting so stupidly recently. I might be wrong here but I feel we are meant to see as George as the one in the wrong here, while self righteous Elaine is the victim.

Most again Eastenders brings back a character from the past in dramatic circumstances, I wonder if a returning character will ever turn up, and just say, they decided to come home. My problem with returning characters is that my brain does not does not retain their past history and I am struggling to understand what is going on a lot of the time. Like when Zoe said "after everything Sam put me through", I have no idea what she means. I wish they would put more effort into introducing new characters instead of the lazy option to bring back old ones.

I also feel a bit sad for the actors who leave Soap's hoping to move onto bigger and better things, only to be forced to return when it does not work out.

Thanks, I had forgot about that. When Suki asked to see the paperwork are we to believe she just accepted Bernie's implausible story about mould in the doctor 's surgery and left it at that. When I said Watford I just meant it was the place that Elaine had lived for a long time and Linda was brought up there. The pub in Marbella was George and Cindy's. As usual they never tell us how much The Vic was sold for, but if I remember right from the Wayland affair, The Vic was freehold, so must have been well in excess of a million pounds, as Sonia's house was worth nearly a million, and it it much bigger than that. With the price of property in East London it would make sense to move somewhere cheaper and have money in the bank.
