As it happens, I was rereading those stories a couple of weeks ago. Given the current state of Corrie, I think you will find that not only have its scriptwriters copied and introduced them, they have far exceeded them in terms of outlandishness and craziness. If they ever think about a comeback. I think those two gentlemen will need to step up their game!

I think Theo meant that Billy Platt never lived and Summer was already a teenager when Todd came into her life so he has not really raised a child like he has so not a proper dad

I thought it was a way of showing the passage of time. To show everything that led up to the final row. Either that it was a new toy the camera team had to play with. Or maybe since it continued at the police station, it was to show the relevance ot CCTV in modern life.
Actually I was under the impression when Kit was interviewing Todd that Theo was dead. I was a bit disappointed to find all he had was a bump on the head.
I do not think Todd was cautioned before questioned, and Audio Description said the interview was recorded on a laptop. Really not the way things are done. Two neighbours having a chat.

Actually I was under the impression when Kit was interviewing Todd that Theo was dead. I was a bit disappointed to find all he had was a bump on the head.
I do not think Todd was cautioned before questioned, and Audio Description said the interview was recorded on a laptop. Really not the way things are done. Two neighbours having a chat.

I was thinking that... it is Todd's laptop, so he must have given Theo permission as Admin to alter things... but really? Certainly after putting up the cameras and recording what is going on, he would have protected everything with a password... ???????

I thought they shared the laptop.

It is quite easy to edit recordings if you have the right software and the skill to use it. Not sure I believe Theo would have the skill, like all things it takes quite a lot of practice to use well. It is possible Theo downloaded some video editing software but I doubt he would be able to learn how to use it so quickly. With the correct software you can cut out parts move parts together and rearrange sequences. It is used all the time in the film and TV industry. You can shoot the same scene several times and choose the best one, and splice it in. It will be used producing Corrie, when they cut from one scene to another, that is done in editing, so no different with Todd's video. It would never stand up in court as experts can look at the Meta Data and see it has been altered.
