Hehe awww well done :)
My day's been good
Things are getting suspicous in school though!
Some of Year 13 are driving now and, on the weekend, 5 Year 13's cars got egged and floured.
Then on Tuesday a girls car got keyed
And 3 more cars have been damged today.
Hmmmm.
Dancing later :)
My legs are still killing me from Monday :(
Never mind :D

Blimey! Hope that doesn't ever happen to my car :p Brought it home today. It has no left wing mirror, the horn doesn't work, the windscreen wipers are slow and the suspension is terrible  and apparently the steering is heavy. :p But it's a lovely little thing :p And it's going for a service next week so it'll all be fixed up :D
I have to clean it tommorow, but it's not that dirty so not much work to do :p

It is a car, which means no more waiting at bus stops in the wind and rain, pleading with mum/dad/sister/brother to get a lift etc. Litlle Miss Independant now, that is what you are. Do you have a name for the little darling?
My red punto is called Percy. It has no ABS, no power steering and it a right bone shaker. Like you say Perdita, its a car and I'm proud of it :D If only I could pass my test...
OK-ish day. We had to answer a 40 mark question in business this morning as a group. There are five of us and we just don't interact with each other apart from me and my friend. Was very tricky and nobody took control. Our teacher had to step in and tell us to regroup after we did our seperate bits and present it to him. I think he was testing us to see if we could work as a group and communicate properly because he keeps saying there isn't much he can do as far as his teaching goes because we don't speak to each other.
Biology was good for a change. We did a practical and as usuall I didn't have a clue what I was doing  I just copied everybody else. I had to try really hard to supress my joy when the teacher told us he probably wouldn't be there next week :D

Day was alright.
This morning was mega boring though. The lecturer we have, she's really nice, but a reallyyyyy boring teacher! So that was rubbish. Nearly fell asleep
This afternoon was a laugh though. Went to McDonalds and got some dog masks. So we were walking around college with them on  Was really funny . Some of the looks/laughs we got . Some of the lecturers stopped to tell us how odd we are :s. They're just jealous :p.
There was a karaoke in college today for BHF. And you had to volunteer people to sing. We were watching it upstairs from the balcony, and 2 of my mates went down and said that they had put my mate Kelly's name forward. So we were all laughing.. only when she called the name out.. it wasn't Kelly... it was MINE! I was so embarrased  There were some people I know around. And she was like "Leanne come on down then".. as soon as she called my name out I just walked off in fits. I refused to do it though :p I was only going to do it if my other mate did it with me, but she wouldn't :p.

Not yet :p I need to drive it first..then it will get a name but first it needs to be insured  It's ridiculous comprehensive insurance costs three times more than the car  It's a bone rattler like yours Abigail :p But yeah no more waiting in the cold :p Well...until I pass my test :p I havn't booked it yet, sometime in April probably
Get one of your parents to be insured as the main driver then you can go on as a provisional. Its much cheaper, especially if they have no claims bonuses.
I wouldn't go for fully comp, you don't really need it at your age. I've got third party, fire and theft and pay around £40 per month for my dad as the main driver, my sister as a named driver and me as a provisional. Well, my dad does anyway
The cheap part is buying the car. Wait until its due for tax and MOT and you have to buy fuel and pay for repairs and parts.

My Dad's going to sort the insurance I'm not sure what he's getting yet :p Don't remind me about the cost  But I don't think it's a particularly thirsty car :p

My day just got weird :p.
One of my uncles rang to say that my other uncle is in hospital. He's having an operation. Not sure what for though. Hope he's okay.
His son (the one that's in hospital), my cousin has been arrested for drugs or something. And cause he has a record of it before and other things he may go to jail. Which is weird 'cause I can't imagine it!
I hope my uncle is okay.. with my auntie and his son with a possible jail time... it would not be my aunties best time if something were to happen to him. One of their daughters, my cousin died of cancer a few years back. So they haven't got the best of luck :(.
On an up note. Was just on the phone to a mate for an hour :D that was good. She's ringing me tomorrow. So seems like it will be a regular thing :D. Think it might make us closer, I told her loads of secret stuff on the phone.

I can't wait to go to university, I hate my dad. It's just like walking on eggshells. Tonight he just said he was taking my friend home (half an hour early), so I asked why he just went off on one. Normally I don't particularly care but there's no need to shout at me especially in front of my friend. I don't get why he's in a bad mood there's no reason...I've not been unhelpful or ungrateful in any respect today. I don't know why I bother.
i am trying to work but finding watching casualty instead. It seems a lot better. I love uni and mornings off.

Perhaps he is worried about things you are not aware of and that makes him a bit snappy. Or he might not feel too well, that makes people go crabby (does me, anyway). Are you able to talk to him at all? Perhaps you could tell him how you feel when he is moody, that might help your relationship with him.

Hmm...he was fine today, I dunno what was up with him yesterday, as far as I know he isn't ill or anything... I can't really talk to him though..he's not the talkative type but it's ok most of the time :)
I spent two hours today cleaning my car. It's so hard to clean a white car :p When the insurance and MOT/service is done I'll take it to the supermarket they clean it there for £5 :p Much easier :p
Went to the pet shop, bought a load of toys for the cats. Got the younger cat high on catnip it's hilarious

Catnip is like a drug to cats, but doesn't have any damaging effects just makes them really happy :p she was rolling over and chasing everything. She kept putting her head in the box the catnip came in  Great fun to watch :p
 :rotfl: That must of been very amusing for you  :p
Aww, I am the world's greatest cat lover and know what you are talking about, to watch them on catnip is great fun  How many cats have you got and what are their names? Not got any myself at the moment as my job means I am travelling a fair bit and don't always get home and I feel it would be unfair, but as soon as possible, I shall give a home to a couple of kitties again.

I like cats you don't have to take them for walks :p One's called Basil, he's 4 and Penny is 9 months, got them both from the same rescue home as kittens :)
I got a telling off from the head of 6th this morning because my target grades from my teachers are lower than my ALPS grades. ALPS are basically target grades that are based on statstics and GCSE results. I have five GCSEs at As and Bs so according to this formula I should get 3 Bs at A level. Which is completely pointless and rubbish, there is no way I am going to get that. I didn't turn up to half of my lessons last year and she knows that.
I don't really care what grades I get as long as I get into uni without going through clearing.
Started physics coursework this morning. We all thought it was a doddle until we came to set it up. Its about inverse square law so we have to record the intensity of a filament bulb with a light sensor. Sounds easy until you realise how many problems there are to overcome. Such as how to read the LCD screen and write down results in the dark
My sister got another dog last week. He's called Bramble Pie and he's a gun dog. His owner died and the new owner hasn't been treating him well so my sister rehomed him. They were going to get a puppy and train him up as a gun dog but they have a three year old lab fully trained for free.
Bramble is really stubborn and digs his claws in. He wouldn't even go inside the house when it was -6C last week because his previous owner made him sleep outside all year round. I don't think they will be able to use him as a gun dog for a few months, they've got a lot of work to rehabilitate him.
Aww, the poor dog. He is obviously so confused. I go to Spain regularly and don't wish to post what the Spanish do to their gun dogs /racing dogs once they are past their career, I am pleased your sister has given the poor soul a new home, she also needs to give him time to re-adjust, might take a while though.
He's only three years old which makes it even worse.
They got another rescue dog a couple of years ago that had been beaten and abused by children. He'll never be a normal dog but he's as close as it gets. At one point he refused to have his collar taken off or be left alone with anyone except my sister's boyfriend. The vet said she's never seen a rescue dog rehabilitated as well as Rocky. To look at him now you'd never know he'd been skin and bone when they got him.
I hope that they keep him and don't give up on him. The poor sausage does not know that he can trust them not to do horrible things to him and it will take time for Rocky to totally put his trust into the new owners.
There's no chance of them giving up on Bamble. After all the work and expense that is put into a gun dog to train them you can't just let it go to waste.
Bramble was initially on a trial with my sister and her boyfriend to see if they suited each other. Obviously if you don't trust the dog and vice versa then you aren't going to have a good working relationship. When he arrived and they realised what condition he was in they both said he wasn't going back. They thought he was a black lab, after giving him a bath and he came out white.
I don't know how people can be cruel to animals.

Rehibilitating animals is hard work but rewarding. Although not as much work as dogs we rescued chickens from a battery farm a few years back and had to teach them everything because they didn't know what anything was e.g. grass, rain. Remember everyone buy free range eggs :p
We always buy free range eggs. I don't eat eggs but apparantly they taste better.
The conditions battery and barn chickens are kept in are appalling. I don't know how farmers can think it is morally and ethically right.

Have a super party!!! What presents did you get????
This week hasn't been so bad.
Monday - I can't remember what happend.
Tuesday - Went in late cause of double free peirod.
Wednesday - Heard this girl was judging me and i got really wound up over it as i already don't have a lot of self confidence. Luckily got away at lunch cause of a doctor's appointment.
Thursday - Refused to go in so my mother started yelling at me and all this rubbish but i didn't go in. But i did find out that my friend self harmed herself cause of her boyfriend:angry: He was seriously not worth it!
Yesterday - Was alright part from the fact i'm apparently a cow and i nearly lost my temper but didn't! But met up with my boyfriend and that last night which was fun but cold had to walk to the bowlplex and then got chucked out at 9 cause we were under 18!
Today - nothing much, went over to edinburgh cause my dad was home:D and i got a book and a new top so it's all good dunno what i'm doing tomorrow through:Dx
Aww Tannie that's terrible. Hope your mate feels better soon despite this boyfriend. Can't believe you were thrown out of the bowlplex at 9; aren't you considered an adult at 16 where you are?
Back to school on Tuesday :( I don't think I've ever been this grateful for a teacher development day in my life! Totally not in the mood for it; I can't be bothered to do any work that involves getting a pen out as it is, I've only read through revision guides a bit and some schoolbooks.
Went shopping on Wednesday and bought one top, but my mate's mum called when we were on the bus on the way back (went like 16 miles from my mates house and it's only just more expensive than me going 6 miles on a bus to see this mate  What's with that?!), and told my mate that a family friend hung himself. She was the one who was in hospital and she said she felt sick and dizzy on the way back. I did get a text from her to say she got home ok but it was a nightmare having to get off of the bus knowing that she still had miles to go before she got home.
I went to the doctors and was diagnosed with depression. Doctor said she couldn't prescribe me anything because of my age, but she's referred me for councelling. Not impressed about that as it is, and how they actually expect me to have transport to get to these sessions is a bit of a mystery. Lack of transport is partially responsible for this to start with!
I text another mate earlier and she hasn't replied. She's probably enjoying herself with our other mate while I'm stuck here by myself.. I can't stop crying.
And Abbie; I thought it was that you could register to give blood at 16 but you're not actually called to donate until you're 17.
And Abbie; I thought it was that you could register to give blood at 16 but you're not actually called to donate until you're 17.
Blood donation Who can use it?You can donate blood every 16 weeks. Regular donors make donations up to three times a year. This allows your body time to build up its stores of iron before the next donation.
On the day that you donate blood, you should drink plenty of liquid (but not alcohol), and you should eat normally.
Nearly everyone who is aged between 17 and 60, weighs over 50kg, and is in good general health, can give blood. Once you have given your first donation you can continue to give blood until your 70th birthday.
A confidential health interview the first time you come to donate is necessary to check that you are fit to give blood, and that your blood is safe for the patients who receive it. You will be asked to complete a Health check questionnaire and will be asked a few other questions designed to prevent the transmission of infection. This includes questions about diseases such as hepatitis B, hepatitis C, HIV (AIDS) and malaria. If you are unwell on the day, such as with flu or a cold, you will not be able to give blood.
If you have had a tattoo or any form of body piercing in the last six months you may not donate. You must also tell the donor carer if you have had any of these procedures in the last 12 months because an additional test will need to be conducted. If you have recently been taking antibiotics you will have to wait until you have finished them and until you have fully recovered from your infection. Women may not donate while they are pregnant and for a period of time afterwards, equal to the duration of the pregnancy. Breastfeeding mothers can give blood provided they are not anaemic.
Hope this helps with some of your questions. I used to donate but now it appears to be easier to get blood out of a stone than my veins, they disappear as soon as a needle gets close
Apparently i am too thin to give blood and my mates too gay.
Nearly done my work i am having a really irritating phase where i am waking up at 7 30 and cant get back to sleep. Its odd well its good when i have 9 AM lecture, but as i got in at 2 today i thought a lie in was in order evidently not. In a way i have managed to do more work so thats good.
Last night was ace just spent hours in spoons. Met loads of people out which was good. The people in halls are all having WW3 i think loads of arguments so i am just staying in my room and keeping out of it, thank God for SB sanity. A proper conversation, i just re read that how sad do i sound.
I am going out in a bit though, muy mate and his daughter are coming to visit from manchester so that should be good.
I think I'm going to have a lazy day today.
I've got an abstract to write for my bio cousework, should only take 10 mins. We've been doing coursework since June last year. Every lesson we spend 20 mins on it going over the same things.
I should maybe do some reading for biology and a bit of research for my physics coursework.
Its my dad's birthday today. I don't think we're doing anything special, we never do.

You can't give blood if you are a gay man or you are a female who has had sex with a man who has had sex with another man.
I don't know why. Personally I think its discrimination and very old fashioned. Just because a man is gay doesn't mean he has HIV.

I watched that programme with Stephen Fry a while back and actually nowadays more straight people have HIV/AIDS now than gay people...
Does that law apply to gay women?
Had an alright day, great aunt came over, went out to the pub for breakfast. (ok so I got up late :p) then went to the gardens but we only went round on the car thing so didn't have to do any working :p
Now to start revision for tommorows Philosophy test :p

I don't think it does.
If you don't know whether you can donate for medical reasons you can email the national blood service to ask them https://secure.blood.co.uk/mqf.asp
There are donor sessions in my town next week so I emailed them to see if I can donate. Hopefully they'll get back to me before then saying I can donate
I had a lovely day. The other half has returned after a week from a business trip to South Africa with a lovely T-shirt for me, a print of a leopard and a CD with African music which is a lot better than I thought  Had a good meal with some red wine, so a nice relaxing day.
Did you have a relaxing time whilst he was away? Bet you did, whole bed to yourself, watch what you like on the telly and do whatever you like without hubby complaining.
You been spying on me? You are dead right :rotfl:
aww, i bet its nice for him too be back though.
I have just spent three and a half hours in casualty my mate fell down the stairs. I feel really weird as being in a hospital waiting room has bought back loads of horrible memories for me. Its a weird feeling. I can't really ecxplain it.
Apart from that end to the day the rest has been really good.
Hope your mate is ok. There are certainly better places to be than in Casualty, especially on a Sunday night.
Just been to the hospital for a blood test to check whether my medication is damaging my liver, kidneys and blood. The woman couldn't get enough blood so she had to put it in a baby bottle. She was sucking it out with a syringe but it just wouldn't flow. At least this time I haven't got a bruise covering half my arm like I usually do.
Business this afternoon. Can't really be bothered. Mum dragged me out of bed at 9am so I'm knackered.
Hope your friend is ok Katy. Congrats on changing colour as well.
I can't believe it! I was friends with this girl when I was in Year 8 (she was in Year 7) and she went into care and the carers made her change school at the end of the academic year. I gave her every contact detail I could think of giving her when I last saw her which was something like 8 days after I joined here, and I hadn't heard from her, so I thought I never would. She called!! :)
I didn't recognise her voice at all to begin with and I was like, "Who is this?! Who?!" I was about to put the phone down thinking it was a wrong number when I realised who it was! The phone cut off though, just after she said, "I'll tell you what I could do.." :( It said the other person had cleared so I rang 1471 to get a contact number for her (I've never had one for her before) and it was from a mobile, so maybe she just ran out of credit. I sent a text to the number from my new number, so hopefully she'll get back to me soon.
Business was a waste of time. I was half asleep so I didn't learn anything.
Physics tomorrow. We're doing an experiment with radiation. I was doing some research the other day and apparantly the dust on your tv has radioactive polonium-210 in it. Can't remember whether I've told you that.

Boring day, philosophy test, at least I did some revision remembered a few things :p Everyone was either in choir :ninja: or shopping or had disappeared somewhere...so I went to the library and did some Chemistry, my lunch was not totally wasted :p
Doing well in Physics to my surprise :p My thinking of 'hand everything in even if it's rubbish' seems to have payed off :p I've improved my predicted two grades up to a B :D
A few friends from science are going on that trip I went on a couple of weeks ago, tomorrow...all on my lonesome again for lunch (and third)...ah well it'll force me to get some more science done :p

So our other lecturer said we didn't have to stay in. So some went to town, I stayed with another mate to do work. Thinking about it I don't think I did too much, felt like loads though :s.
Not a bad night. Although I have a major bad fringe night lol!!! It's soooo long now, but I wanna grow it out I think. But I don't like it clipped back either lol!
Lmaooooo Kasple. Love the new addition to your sig!!!!
same i have had a five hour gap between lectures today i am still waiting for my next one at 3.
My mates fine, she has gone home for a few days or longer as she cant get up stairs. I cant believe i have made 7000 posts! I am shocked.
Thanks for asking

Ahh cool what trip is that? Anything exciting?
I was supposed to go on a Biology trip today to Cardiff Uni to have lectures and do prec work and stuff...but it was Welsh Bacc day in school where we all had a chance to catch up on Welsh Bacc work and other stuff too so I didn't bother going on the trip because I don't understand Biology and I'm really not interested in it anymore so saw it as pointless :thumbsdow
On the plus side they let us home from school at dinner because we all worked well so Im chilling with a well earned cuppa tea watching Jeremy Kyle and getting the goss on SB :D

I hate Welsh Bac! What are you doing for your individual investigation? My topic is rubbish I'm going to ask to change it tomorrow!! She gave it to me, and it's stupid lol. Was meant to be before Christmas though, so doubt she'll let me change!

I hate Welsh Bac too!
Is it compulsory for your school? Ours is.
Whats even more annoying is "head of Welsh Bac".
She doesn't give 2 flying monkeys about our other lessons as long as we get our Welsh Bac done. She's already had a go at our Biology teacher for letting his lessons interfere with Welsh Bac and saying how all our other subjects put pressure on us... when really it's Welsh Bac that puts the pressure on! :wall: << I feel like that most of the time because of it! Haha
Oh dear, individual investigation... I have no idea:searchme: I think I'm going to do the teenage pregnancy one, I think the younger years should do that topic when they get to Welsh Bac seems as though they're all at it like rabbits! Not all of them.. but quite alot lol. Enough ranting from me though :thumbsdow

It's compulsary for some of the ND courses at college to do.. mine being one of them!
:rotfl: Oh dear. Maybe you should show them your assignment .
Well we had to choose our own, but I hate decisions  So Got my teacher to help me pick a topic.. she asked what I was interested in I said TV  So she came up with Tv viewing figures and the internet's influence on it. But it's stupid, really hard to get a Wales perspective on it! Hardley any information on the net! I'm gunna ask tomorrow to change it to maybe something to do with domestic violence or something.
I agree, I feel Welsh Bac is more pressure! I'd rather concentrate on my other coursework!!

You cover things like politics and stuff that's happening in the world. We also had to learn a language. Well 6 weeks of language we did. Was rubbish. We did Italian. Not sure completely what it is though . It's equivelant to something like 2 A Levels I think??

We were in a lesson.. and our tutor said to my mate that she had to do this survey thing for him (as she wasn't in when we did it). And one of my mates was like.. "Oh is that for *insert name here*?" Leanne has a crush on him!" .. Tutor: "Oh doooo you!!!??" Me: "NO I do not *insert going red here*. Was well embarrased and then another lecturer we have walked in, and our tutor told her  I was just like oh my gosh. I swear if those lecturers start saying it all the time :rotfl:.

Last night i went to see high school musical in the play house and it was amazing:D i seriously would see it again.
Today nothing much happend really. Decided i'm going to head off to college at the end of this year to do an admin course but i don't know what college to go off to and to make things even scarier i'm leaving in two months:eek:! can't wait through think it will be amazing but i'll miss all my friends and it doesn't help that i'm really shy:lol:
i have tidied my room as my mam is coming up saturday.
They are having world war three at the inute on my corridor, it would be nice to get some peace, oh the joys of halls.
Had a good day, was my birthday and all my friends remembered :)
Got some nice pressies of the other half and had a great meal in a Chinese restaurant we had never been to before but will surely go again. :cheer:
Happy Birthday glad you had a good day.
I comepletly lost my temper last night which is really unlike me i think i was just pushed a bit too far with all the snide comments going around halls. I got in such a state i was really shocked at myself. Its nearly sorted now though.
I got to go and hand a deposit in on a house, i feel all grown up.
My blood tests came back on Wednesday. I am anaemic. I only found out today when my mum picked my repeat prescription up and on the back on tick box thing to get more prescriptions it said ferrous sulphate. Nice of the surgery to let me know  I rang up and they said a letter and prescription is on its way.
The student union has organised a charity football match in two weeks. I don't really want to go and stand outside in the cold for several hours but as I'm on the union I have to go. I've been roped into doing the raffle. Can't think of anything better I could be doing with my Thursday night
aww, we have a really big competition with band coming up, theres rehersals every night. Just trying to figure out how to finish this essay and fit it all in. And also trying to figure out where to take my mam and dad tomorrow.
Was rather amusing in school today. Boys in my business class from the back row blew up a condom and started whacking it around the room. Came down the stairs at the end of the lesson and found it thrown on the floor at the bottom.
I think one of the parents may have complained about the bus driver as we had a decent one coming home today, when we had the maniac one on the way home before. He said that the kids could smoke on the bus as he doesn't see the police being able to enforce the law. Yesterday they actually did and it stank, especially when someone closed the windows claiming that they were cold.

I've been well in the wars today!
Had work.. was mainly doing potatoes and I cut my finger with the peeler in 3 different places. 1 of them bled for ages! Was only a tiny cut aswell!! Then I was putting some fish in the fryer and i burnt my little finger! Then I walked into a wall and scraped my arm against the corner making it all red and hurty. it's all good now though.
After having a rough week and all, I now have another cold!! Its very annoying. Im still very tired, Ive started taking some kalms to help me sleep and they really have helped but I didnt take any last night and it was very frustrating......plus the wind outside and then I woke up at 6 and just couldnt get back to sleep
CrazyLea

Started the iron tablets today. My skin smells of iron which is really annoying me. All I can smell is iron :wall:
Mum is treating me like I'm an invalid. She keeps telling me to sit down and rest, not over do it, drink lots of water ( ) and start eating properly. Hmm, not sure how water is going to increase my red blood cells but hey ho.
Went shopping this afternoon and got a jumper and pair of slippers in the sale.
Mother's day tomorrow and I haven't got my mum anything. Personally I think cards are overrated. They only go in the recycle box at the end of the week.
Was supposed to go out tonight but I couldn't be bothered. I haven't got anything smart to wear because all the pubs/clubs/bars in York have a strict dress code. No denim, short skirts or low cut tops. Plus its freezing.
Is that cos your anemic sp? My friend told me I could be that but I ignoring, she is a very crazy girl, did you go to your doctor thinkign you were?
Yeah, I'm anaemic.
I went for a medication review the week before last and she gave me a blood form for some reason, no idea why. I wasn't going to go because nothing ever shows up on blood tests when I have them. Good job I did I guess.
Lots of teenage girls are anaemic for obvious reasons. I think its down to poor diet and side effects of medication for me.
my mate had aneamia. I went shopping to got a great jacket that has the comment whatever floats your boat on the back, its ace.
Spent the day with my parents which was really nice, not seen them in ages. Went for a nice walk and a meal and then i am going to see them again tomorrow before they go home. Got a band rehersal to, its really busy, plus i have to fit exam revision in as well at some point. Oh well it will all get done.

I don't think that makes much sense :p..ah well...after lying down in my room for 10 mins the 'fog' cleared but then I had a splitting headache (after taking two paracetamol) for most of the evening so that was a bit rubbish.

Day didn't turn out too bad. Ended up talking about politics, life and the universe in physics.
My teacher is using me in a case study on Thursday. I've agreed but I'm not too sure. I know he won't mention my name and I won't be there but I'm not entirely comfortable with other people knowing things about me. I'm too scared to ask him what he's going to say because I can't even talk about the reason behind why he's using me. If that makes sense. Probably doesn't but hey ho.

If you don't think you can talk to him, perhaps write him a note/email with your concerns and perhaps lay down how much of your history you feel comfortable being shared with the others. :)
I've got to email him now to remind him of Father Ted. I don't know why but he said to me on the way out, "send me an email with Father Ted in big letters."
I know I'll be a good case study and will highlight his point exactly. This is just silly, they won't know who I am, I don't know who they are. Why should I get upset by it? I am though.

I think you might be right. I'm scared because I don't know what he's going to say or how much he's going to say.
Strange thing is, I'm trying to bury it yet I said its ok for him to use it in his meeting. Why is the mind so damn complicated?

Perhaps you are subconsciously hoping that you can find a solution through him using you as a case study. Will you get informed about their responses?
I don't know. To be honest, I don't even know what its about. He told me vaguely, I wasn't really listening.

Me and another girl in my class are really annoyed at the History teacher, she KNEW we were in Germany and she marked us ABSENT! And she says she's too busy to email EMA so we can get our weekly bribe for going to college from the government :p Our plan is to pester her every lesson until she does it...:p
The most pointless Chemistry lesson EVER...he takes the whole lesson to call up people one by one to tell us which piece of coursework we can redo and I have the misfortune to be at the end of the register. Why does he have to take forever :thumbsdow :p
On the plus side my Biology teachers going on a trip tommorow so we get to leave 40 minutes early :D
Day off today. Got up early (9.30am instead of 11am) so these tablets seem to be working. They do nothing for my head or sleep though. I've had headache constantly since I started on them and I keep waking up during the night.
Rang up the insurance company for the holiday and I had to pay an extra £23 to cover my medical conditions. I wouldn't mind but we got the highest level of insurance anyway. My sister had to pay £23 more as well for her illness.
Not doing much today, typed my prelim results up for my physics coursework and I've got a bit of research to do for biology.

bit of a rubbish day in the sport with Man C and Ireland losing and to top it all off, My band came last at the competition we were at today. We drve 6 hours to get there as well. We are really dissapointed as it wasnt that bad of a performance.
Nothing interesting to report from today. Got up late, did English homework and kept getting back in bed. Other than that I watched the Doctor Who Weakest link and some Eastenders, and I've been ripping some onto the computer. Just been trying to do my History essay but I got bored.
I meant to go into town today but it was raining. I need to go tomorrow because of it and the busses only run every 2 hours  There's more chance of me flying to the moon than there is of Dad taking me down an hour before the bus so I don't have to hang around when I've got what I need to get.
I was off school again for 2 days last week and apparently if I have another 2 days off this year the DFES will be on my back. So much for understanding bereavement. Mum reckons it's that that caused me to get depression too which was why I was off last week but I don't see what they expect me to do when the doctors won't give me anything because of my age. That's just stupid too because my cousin had antidepressants for stress over her GCSE's when she was 16. Would have walked out on Friday as well if I had the transport to get home but instead I had to stay when I was nearly crying and snapping at everyone.
I've got physics coursework to do today :thumbsdow It took me nearly an hour to draw a schematic diagram on paint and I've haven't labelled it yet.
I have a writing frame to help write it up but I haven't got a clue what to write. I can't draw my graphs because I have no idea how to do a log graph. The one time I actually sit down and do coursework I can't do it
I'm seriously wondering why I bother doing A levels.
My sister got taken to hospital at 3am this morning. Her and her boyfriend went to a shoot dinner and she collapsed so my dad had to go take them to the hospital.

I spoke to her on the phone about half an hour ago and she sounds fine. They didn't even do anything at the hospital, just gave her a painkiller which knocked her out and sent her home.
Do they know why she collasped?
Not really. She's had problems with her insides for a while. She had an infection in her abdominal cavity a few days before Christmas and ended up in hospital.
She lives four miles away from us but is in a different PCT. The hospitals in my PCT are rubbish, all they care about is waiting lists. They wouldn't transfer her to her hospital because it would cost them money. Its pathetic, they're all NHS hospitals, whatever happened to being able to choose which hospital you want to be treated at?

havent written in here in ages so have probably done loads but cant actually remember lol!
im getting slightly scared cos our cheerleading competition is in less than 2 weeks and we havent even finished learning the routine yet! im putting myself forward to be secretary on the comittee next year so hope i get it!
the other wednesday i went out for my netball team meal, it was good though ended up spending £40 cos it costs me nearly a tenner to get the taxi home! and last wednesday was a very busy, mostly netball-filled day! played a charity netball tournament in the morning, then watched our first team play in the semi-finals for the trophy of the highest busa league but they lost unfortunately, then i played a match cos it was varsity against our other campus then had cheerleading practise, then rushed home to be ready to go out for my housemates bday! it was also netball pub golf so i went to that but got there late cos of my housemates bday so had to catch up with the holes i missed. was a fab night though got really really drunk, i did every hole (there were 12 in total) in one apart from one, quite proud of myself lol!
havent done anything this weekend as my nan died on friday so ive just been at home

Sorry to hear about your Nan di marco :(
I was nearly late because of train delays (any amount of rain will delay them) but it was hardly the 'gale' predicted
I have Chemistry for tommorow and Physics and Philosophy for Thursday. I regret being so lazy on the weekend :p
Had my hair cut today. I like the feeling of cut hair.
Got some physics homework to do but I really can't be bothered. Don't see the point, I'm going to fail anyway so there's no point wasting my time.
Trying to do my physics homework. As usual I've left it to the last minute (its due in this afternoon  ) and I don't really know what I'm supposed to be doing. The internet has been helpful in the first part of the question but the answers in the book for the second part don't mean anything to me.
I'm waiting for the postman to deliver seasons one to three of House. I'm so excited :D :cheer:
sorry to hear about your nan di marco.
Im just finished my essay whilst watching DVDs. Thank God i only had 1 hour of lectures.
My House set arrived. Don't really feel like watching it at the moment.
I was talking to my teacher about exams and he said something and I've realised that I'm going nowhere. I've done two years' of work and I've got nothing decent to show for it. My teacher said he's going to think of a Plan B. I'm thinking I need a miracle.
What really annoys me is this girl in two of my subjects. She always gets top marks in everything and she always says "oh, if you put the effort in then you'll do better" or "you can't have revised enough." Well FYI, we all aren't brainboxes who know everything  I do work and I do revise but I have a really bad memory. I had a mini go at her this afternoon which shut her up. I would have had a major go but I wasn't in the mood.
I can't wait until I leave that place, its doing my head in.
Im sorry to hear about your nan di marco

Watched three episodes of House. He cheered me up :D I sound like I'm obsessed talking about him all the time. Even my mum said I have a thing for him :rotfl:
i was watching my waterloo road DVD today, i wathced 7 episodes, thats how productive i was. I nearly had a heart attack when my printer wasnt working but luckily the essay is printed and ready to hand in. It was being eally tempramental. I verrrry nearly gave blood today! Filled out all the forms, had the chat with the blood guy, lay on the bed, got poked with the needle, then, "Sorry but we can't find your vein. Just going to give it a wiggle." Me: *gulp*. "Yeah, we're not going to find it today, as it's your first time we're not going to push it, but don't let that put you off. Come again when we're here in Autumn and try again, if it doesn't work we'll try your other arm". :( I felt so disappointed!!!!!!
Last day at the chippy tonight :D Woooo sooo glad that's over!!! :D
Gonna have a late night tonight. Catch up with Home and Away, Neighs and Holby. Then blow dry my hair, then do some assignments!
Okay well here is the photo of the heart I disected today, its in spoiler tages for those who dont want to see it :D :p

Yeah I know, its better in person :p
They were quite small and it just depends on where you cut them on how good the inside looked, mind had some clotted blood in
I smelled blood when I looked at those pictures for some reason. Your heart was better than mine. You can see the valves and purse strings really clearly on yours. Mine was just a mess, it had been slashed to make sure there were no parasites or infection in it.
I really need to get on with my physics coursework and start some revision tomorrow. I don't really know why I'm bothering with the coursework, there is no way I'm going to pass physics. It really annoys me because I can do the work in class but I forget it all in the exam.
When I had to draw it I missed off the valves, its hard to draw! :p

I think I might just give up on my physics. It's just frustrating me. It's 3 marks for a ridiculous amount of work. I know what I have to do I just don't understand how to do it or how to find the information. I have never seen S.I. units and all that stuff before, I wasn't there the lesson he gave out the coursework. He should really spend more than one lesson telling us what to do and at least give us an information sheet. I think I'm going to end up making half of it up.
I traced it out of a text book. Have you done lungs yet? Thats better than the heart. We got the trachea, larynx, oesphagus and lungs on our set. The larynx was hard to get open. I was rather disappointed when I finally got it open, there wasn't much in it.
If you get a straw and put it down the trachea and blow you can inflate the lungs (as long as they aren't slashed too deeply).
I think I'm going to end up making half of it up.
I made my biology coursework results up. There was no way I was going to stand on a beach in winter and measure the length of seaweed. No wonder my teacher was puzzled when my results didn't match everybody else's :rotfl:

On Thursday I'm not going to be in the lesson so I will email him my work on Thursday...evening...late as I can get away with  I can't do it until like 6pm tommorow because I rearranged my driving lesson so I can go to a talk from this guy who was in Guantanamo bay so it's basically get home from college, drive for an hour and a half, go back to college, I doubt I'll have time for lunch :p
Woww, exciting stuff you get to do! What kind of heart is it? I take it it is not human (although we do say that there are some heartless people around!)
 Nope, they're pig's or sheep's organs. There's no way we would be allowed to use human organs.
I've got coursework to do today and I need to start condensing my notes. I'll do four hours work then watch some House :D I reckon a good couple of hours will be spent online avoiding coursework :rotfl:

Gah, busy day, went college, came home had driving, went back to college for the talk came back..havn't started science yet :p Finished off philosophy (which is rubbish but I don't care :p)
On the way back some student smashed the back of a car window. Him and his two mates just walked off! Didn't even run  None of us saw anything so we weren't off much use to the driver, but we hung around to tell the driver anyways. We weren't exactly going to run after the (rather tall and big) idiots :p
I have zero motivation for science...:o

Meant to have 2 tasks in tomorrow. I've done one, can't be bothered with the other one, but I should as it was meant to be in weeks ago!! :(
My day was completley fine intill 4th pierod:angry:
For those of you that don't know me i got burnt at the age of 9 months by tea and coffee so i now have scars up my stomach and my left arm. So it was freezing in computing and we got told to take our jackets off. I refused but i finally took it off and my arm went purple:angry: not all of it just round the edges of the scars was so p*ssed off at my teacher and then cameron started calling me blondie which really got on my nerves!
Had a doctors appointment about my anger and apparently one of the reasons im angry couold be because of my burns which i think is true cause they can get me right down. So now i'm in one of my low moods, and just wanna cry, may even end up crying myself to sleep im in that crap a mood:( But i think it may be cause i miss my dad is well that i'm in the mood least he's coming home on sunday:cheer:
Can't be bothered with school tomorrow. New headteacher isn't as bad as i think he was apart from the new rules about mobile phones which i will not be following. Why is i have seemed to become really rebellious now? why couldn't this of happend a while back?

I've got a vague feeling that I have some biology work due in tomorrow. I have no idea what it is :rotfl: Thanks for reminding me, I won't bother doing it.
I've watched five episodes of House today. I had to eject the disk from the laptop a few minutes ago because I need to go to bed. What I really need is to watch more episodes of House :rotfl: I'll have these 70 episodes watched by next week.
I should really have done more on my coursework and started some revision but the wonderful Hugh distracted me. I just can't help myself.

Aww quite a pointless day today.
R.E was fun though
We had to watch some video about Sex Before Marriage- Kelly's Story
Of course some of us were immature and found ourselves in giggles
Our RE teacher asked a question about the video on what we learnt about sex before marriage and we were like- never accept the offer of a cup of tea from a boy. Especially if he takes you upstairs.. there's no tea up there!
Our teacher was just like :wall: but managed to see the funny side thankfully :D
Hah I think the highlight of the video was that Kimberley form Girls Aloud was in it and we were all like  because she looked about 2! Lol :)
I think I'll be off to read a bit of the Gray that is Dorian for English Lit  Have fun everyone :)

Record breaking chart toppers McFly will wow the crowds at Oakwood Theme Park on July 19th this summer.
Following the success of last year's Girls Aloud concert Pembrokeshire pop promoters Mint have booked the boy band to continue Pop Park, a unique concept which gives gig go-ers the chance to see top UK artists in concert and go on all the rides at the theme park.
McFly who have had seven UK number ones and a total of 13 top ten singles agreed to headline the theme park concert after meeting Mint's Aaron Kirkhouse and 20-year-old Alex Darlington.
"Last year we did the show with Girls Aloud and it was an amazing success," said 19-year-old Aaron. "For Pop Park '08 we have the McFly boys on board and its going to be even bigger!"
This year Pop Park have teamed up with social networking website Bebo to bring fans VIP competitions, ticket give-aways and exclusive McFly blogs.
"There really hasn't been anything quite like this before," said Alex.

"Working with Bebo has enabled us to create an interactive pre-show experience, for the millions using the social networking site every day."
Since the Bebo site was launched last week hundreds of McFly fans have signed up as friends, sharing their excitement and hoping to win a chance to meet their heroes.
Tickets for Pop Park will go on sale at 8am on March 19th at bebo.com/poppark.
This is for you Kirsty :p.

Sore throat... temperature.. coursework evaluation.. not a good idea! I've had extra work this week and they set enough as it is - got called to the headmaster's office for his talk on grades and revision during a history mock and missed three quarters of the lesson and had to take it home to do it. Got to do up to question 5 by tomorrow for that too and I've done 3. English work won't be in either.
Other than that I got Geography DME result which I thought I waffled on big time in, but got 57/60 on Higher. Top of the school :)
Got my 6th form interview on Wednesday.
I had an absolutely fantastic day yesterday. I work in a military environment and a friend bought me a day as a Brigadier as a present in a charity event. I got picked up from my hotel, piped into the office building where the real Brigadier lives, signed a visitor's book, my name among Generals now.
Then I got a ride in a fire engine  , got kidnapped by some sixth formers to raise money in rag week, started a rugby match by throwing the first ball, and in the afternoon I got to drive a warrior tank :cheer: and all those guys in a uniform
Back to normal life today and back to work. :(
Oooh I've been in a warrior tank. Very noisy.
Had the charity football match last night. I was doing the raffle. I got there at 6.20pm to find that nothing was ready. The gates opened at 6.30pm, we had no float, no sellotape to stick things up with and no raffle books. I was really annoyed.
Staff won, 6-3 :thumbsdow There was this really wierd guy who was dressed as a red nose for Sport Relief. I don't know why he was there or how he got a ticket because the proceeds were for the NSPCC and British Heart Foundation. He stood in front of the raffle stall all night looking at the prizes and me. He freaked me out. I had to ask one of the teachers to stand with me because I was scared  I really don't know who let him in, everybody's name had to be written down in case something happens to one of the kids.
Anyway, I didn't see much of the match. It was absolutely freezing and raining.
We discussed the leavers' bash in general studies this morning. Some people want fancy dress (me!) and some want formal. Its going to be a sit down meal then we can all get smashed :cheer:

My mum and dad and bro watched series 3 and i saw some eppies not all of them. So i may watch and get series 4 recorded. I want the House boxset now through cause i wanna catch up on what i never saw. I also want Crossing Jordan Boxset And The Gilmore Girls Boxset Cause I'm Cool:lol: :
House seasons one to three box set is £40 on Amazon, save £30 on the RRP.
Season four starts this Thursday, 9pm on Five. I don't think this season will be as long as the previous ones because of the writers' strike.

Was in bed til about 3. Watched Wipeout til 5. Then watched Corrie at 6 (Fris ep). Then had a shwoer and went out.
Pub was alright, a little boring. REally rather annoyed.. ordered chinese for everyone. It arrived at the time I asked it to arrive. Then there was no chips which somone had ordered. So used the phone again, asked wherfe they were, and she claimed that I hadn't ordered them. Which I HAD! I wrote everyones orders down, then read it as it was!! So she is wrong! Don't care what she says! So I asked how much it would be o get soem more chips down here, and she said 1 popund !!! PLUSSSSSS delivery charge of 1.50 which we had paid previouslty!!!! so i awas having a right go at her. at the delivery man who she passed me to, back to ehr, then she flaming hung up on me the flaming wimp!!!!
Now im home having a bit of ciddr1

I had a really weird experience last night. I was dreaming then I woke up and I was crying. I didn't wake up then start crying, I was actually crying when I woke up :searchme:

I am soooo knackered today! My own fault though. Me and my mum had a late night drinking cider last night, dancing around and stuff, so I didn't go to bed til half 5! Got up at half 7 for college! So 2 hours sleep . And I was still a little drunk in college - oops!
