1321 words to go on my history essay :p I've done it all at school because I never concentrate at home. Unfortunately I've got Physics coursework for Thursday and a Chemistry for the Monday after..I'm going to be working all weekend to get Physics done because I have a trip on Wednesday...to a power station! woo... :p
Going out tonight for supper :D should be a laugh
Just haveing a quick browse before i get ready to go out. We are all heading out in a 16 seater taxi i am really excited. I am looking forward to it.

My fingers and toes are numb :p I didn't expect the walk up to the hill after dinner, was really good though, mainly chatting, about such random things like the universe and atoms  A policemen came up to check we didn't have drugs or anything while we were sitting on a bench on the hill. We were talking about religion, and debating whether there is a God or not  the rebels that we are. :p But it was really good night out :D Freezing though. :p
Are you doing A level physics?
StarsOfCCTV
01-02-2008, 22:37
I'm doing double applied science it has all of the science, but the physics we do is movement, not space. I don't know how the conversation switched to the universe :p But I like random chat :p
Lol. I sarted doing Astrophysics today and I found a really interesting fact about black holes. Inside a black hole is in one sense beyond the end of time of for the outside universe. Thats probably boring to most people but I find it interesting :D
I'm downloading this week's Horizon about gravity and quasars and its taking forever, even on broadband.
StarsOfCCTV
01-02-2008, 22:50
Yeah blackholes are really wierd :p eventually they spit out everything they sucked in...most space related stuff is too complicated for me to think about :p
Actually they don't, once an body (light, star, matter) passes the event horizon of a black hole nothing can escape, not even light. I think its wierd how something can be lost forever.
I was going to download this week's Holby but I've been downloading Horizon for an hour and its only half way through. 50 minute program taking two hours to download
samantha nixon
01-02-2008, 23:08
Depends where you download holby from, but for me when I do it, it only takes me about half an hour/hour
I'm downloading from the BBC iplayer. I thought it would have been a lot quicker than this :thumbsdow
Awww Cant you just wait

hmmmmmm what have i done since i last wrote on here lol?!
well last sun i went to my first american football match, we are meant to do cheerleading at all of them but ive made excuses for the others cos its been too cold lol! it was ok i suppose, got more fun as it went on, but i do not understand the rules lol they literally kept stopping every 2secs!
mon we went out as a house and managed to persuade one of our housemates to come with us as she hasnt been out all year! she left really early though! and one of my other housemates got really drunk and then we lost her and when we got back home she had invited these 2 guys back who she sort of knew and then they invited all their mates round (this is at 3am!) and they were shouting and smashing up her room which we were really angry about. found out the next day they had nicked our food as well!
on tues i had to do my standup piece which i was really nervous about, i think it was one of the most scary things ive ever had to do in my life (which was funny seeing as it was only for 2mins and just in front of my lecturer and the 15 other people in my class!) but it went ok and they laughed so that was good but dont ever want to do it again lol!
wed had a meeting about our options for next year and they are all really crappy! all the good ones they have got rid of and we hardly have any choice, im not pleased!
also found someone to move into our house and all the moneys been paid so now all we have to do is sign the forms and its done yay!

I am having a bad day i failed my essay and really dont know what to do next, i am in two minds shall i quit and change or not. Argh! I hate feeling like this/.
awwwww katy sorry to hear about that. dunno what its like at your uni but i failed one of my essays last year and just passed the other but still managed to pass the module overall, it might not be as bad as you think? are you doing alright with other marks? also we are allowed to resit any modules we fail at the end of the year with just one exam. i know someone who failed 3 out of 4 of their modules last year but managed to pass all the resits

In biology on fridays we have a student teacher who is not very good and she is going to be teaching the lesson after half term in which we do a heart discetion. Now I dont mind doing it, its just the fact she will be teaching the lesson!! In drama our teacher wasnt in so we didnt do much just played games lol and most people left by the end and we had to help set up the seats cos my dance school was in as the little ones were doing a show. I also found out Im working tonight, which I dont mind just means more money since im working on sunday too :D

lol same, the other night i went out with £20, paid part of the taxi on the way there, paid to get in, bought loads of drinks and still had almost £7 left to go home, not that im complaining if i somehow magiced money cos im pretty certain i spent at least £15 on drinks!
i really need to catch up on tv, i havent seen hollyoaks in at least 2 weeks lol!
you know i mentioned i am never drinking again, it lasted a few hours. Just got beack to my room after a night of drinking games. Well one drinking game that lasted a long time.
I don't think I'll do much today. I need to go to tesco to do some shopping then I'm going to do a bit of reading and watch a film. Lazy Sunday:D
feeling a bit more normal now, i have some reading to do and i am going to play football.
Basically a lazy sunday.

had a busy and very cold day. played netball this morning and we won yay! then straight after that i had to go and cheer for the american footballers, it was so cold im wearing 8 layers and still freezing lol!
So much for my lazy day. Went to do some shopping then went to my auntie's to take some baby things for my cousin. Her baby is going to be delivered at 34 weeks because her kidneys aren't functioning well enough and the implants that keep her tubes to the bladder open have moved. She's 24 weeks now. The doctor says she'll be lucky to make it past 34 weeks.
Then we went to my sister's to see her new drive. Looks good, she can get five cars and a van on now.
Rather hungover today but made a steak pie for dinner and did my ironing. Then logged on SB and read that Liam Connor is quitting Corrie :crying: so now I might have had an ok day but awful evening.

yesterday evening i went to the american footballers fundraising event which was pretty good. they were doing a slave sale and the amount of money some people were bidding was ridiculous (i think one person was bought for £75! ) i have no idea how they could afford that sort of money! bought some raffle tickets though (that was my contribution haha everything else was too expensive!) and i won! got an american football top, its too big for me but im happy cos i never normally win lol!
not done much today. going netball later and then im going to order pizza cos i was craving it yesterday lol!

I had no money so had to wait half hour for sister to come home to lend some... by then it was half 8... the bus was at 8:33, so I nearly missed that too! Nearly pulled off so I ran . Thank god for traffic :p.
This is the annoying bit.... I got to college only to be told that one of out lecturers was ill meaning we only had 2 hours in all day!!!!!! GAHHHH!
Was a laugh though with my mates we were just sitting around dossing. And everytime a certain lecturer goes passed.. whom my mates still tease me cos they think I fancy him :p they're like. OOOOHH Leanne look... I deffo think he's getting suss now lmao! Cos they point too!
Then was going to get my wages, but they were upstairs and I couldn't be bothered to wait so have to get them tomorrow.

hopefully some money should go in tomorrow. How i love being a student.
Taxi driver hacked me right off, so I'm going on the bus for now. It's ok apart from the driver who drove right past me yesterday so I had to leg it to another stop, and the fact that the bus was over the maximum capacity today but everyone got on and no one could actually get to the doors to get off.
Got home to find that both of my dogs had been bitten  One on the ear, but the other had to have stitches under an anaesthetic. Just been to pick him up from the vets and there was a picture on the wall of one of the staff with a cat named Alfie Moon

I have so much work it's unreal :crying: Physics for Thursday but I'm back at 5 tommorow because of this stupid trip, normally I get home at 1! And I miss my driving lesson because of it
Chemistry for Monday (22 marks), History for Tuesday (cut bits, add bits to essay)
And a Philosophy essay for Tuesday...Yeah like he's going to get that  Goes to the back of my To Do list. Oh as does the research sheet I have to do for Biology.
I don't even understand half my Physics coursework, luckily it's only 8 marks so I can get 4 without the maths. But...The teacher really annoys me! He tells us to go on the college student website to get the coversheet of what to do and I don't even know if I've got the correct sheet because it's not labelled properly and it's really hard to find
On the plus side the trains were running on time..although according to the news the train unions are thinking of striking next month over safety...
*and rant over *
Edit - new rant. My physics teacher has put the coursework outline up on the college website. 2 days before the deadline. arhghhhghhghhh. I am not a happy bunny :o
Whats your physics coursework on? Sounds like you had a fun day
I've got my biology coursework to ammend for Thursday. Guess when I'm doing that
Pretty good day today. After half term we're handling radioactive substances in physics. Proper radiation :D Can't wait for that. Then we're going to measure our radioactiveness with a Geiger counter.

What a day!
Talk about embarrasment!!!
This morning... that lecturer guy that my mates keep saying I fancy, came to the door and one of my mates shouted loudly and pointed going "Look Leanne! It's your man!!!"... now if he didn't hear that I will be surprised... so then he came in.. in which all my mates looked at me and laughed . Then we had to do a survey for him.. and he said something about individual meetings with him if he wanted to talk to us more about the surveys... at which point.. I think you get the pic . I bet I was red as a beetroot :p.
Kinda been in a bad mood today.. Not majorly.. just snappy... my mate was tappping a bottle. I HATE people tapping things. She knows that :p. So I grabbed the bottle and lobbed it across the room! Everyone was shocked haa.
Then the same friend was threatening to throw one of my pens off the balcony... and for some reason - even though I knew she was joking, I lost it and shouted really loudly "Give me the damn pen"..
Everyone looked at me haha, and one of our lecturers came out the loo which was near where we were sitting near and said it was really loud. And that lecturer guy that my mates say I fancy came out of his office and looked around.. I reckon that was just coinsidence though!
Work was alright.. someone came in and asked for chips with no vinegar just salt.. so I was doing it.. and put vinegar on it.. then was like WAIT you said no vinegar... so then i did it again.. and put vinergar on AGAIN!! I was so embarrased. I must have looked like a drib!!
Anyway. That's enough of my day  Must remember you guys aren't my diary and don't want my life story .
Its funny to hear about your random days and the lecturer guy. Tell the truth, do you like him?

My day wasn't quite so fun as yesterday. Missed the flaming bus AGAIN!!! What is wrong with me lmao!! So got the service bus.. went for a walk 'cause I didn't want to go to Italian.. but then got cold so went to Italian. Boring.
Then had key skills.. boringgg.
Then had another lesson which was a little fun, me and my mate were hyper. Our lecturer called us hamsters :s cos we "fidget" and laugh alot apparantly :p. So I sent her an email with my work on and signed it Hamster..
Then we had anotherrrrrrr lesson! That was fun too. Me and a different mate were hyper. That lecturer brought up the hamster thing (the other one had told her).. so that hamster thing looks like it will be sticking now hahah! Call me Hamster... Hamster Lea  *coughs*.. then we made up a "language". Which was basically just high pitched noises... everyone thinks we're going mad :s. Don't know why..

Awww all your days sound ten times more eventful than mine! :)
Im really annoyed with my Biology teacher though! And Head Of Year!
Hm... I feel a rant. I apologise in advance :)
We all ahd to hand out coursework in or he would go mental. So we all rushed and got it done on time. Apart from this one boy who never does his work and hardly comes to lesson anymore.
Well he was seen in the Sixth Form Block doing nothing so someone was sent to get him...but he ran away from them and wouldn't come to lesson.
His punishment: Coursework deadline extended to Friday and he's being given another chance. Where is the justice in that.
We all work hard and rush to get things in on time, and he gets to run riot and not bother coming to lesson and get an extra 3 days to do his coursework.
I would gladly run away from my lesson and refuse to go if it meant having extra time on school work!
Rant over :) Sorry.
Sixth Form Party tomorrow though :)

LOL we must all take biology here. I had a biology test today on gas exchange and everything. It was okay but forgot all the calculations and it was mostly about plants and stuff but we had learnt mostly about humans which was annoying and confusing. We also got our coursework back yesterday and we have to hand our final one in my friday well just the plan but still thats not much time.
It was kinda funny before the test as well as I took the lift and forgot to get off on floor 7 where I needed to be, I ended up going back down to floor 5 so got off then and walked back up  I felt like such an idiot cos my friend got on the lift at floor 7 and was like why didnt you get off?
I came home after we finsihed obviously and Ive been doing more quiz stuff I really like doing this.
I also need to teach myself what we did in geography today cos I didnt pay attention :o :p
I forsee...a night of no sleep :ninja:

OCR
I'm finding it so much more difficult than WJEC! :(
You?
I have no idea what WJEC is
Im on Edexcel

Oohh Edexcel! Cool :)
Oh right lol :)
Yeah I think Edexcel are okay I like how they do their questions too, I understand them cos I think AQA who I have for my geography can be a right pain in wording questions!!

I'm so glad I'm doing double applied science :p Even though it's 70% coursework which is a bit rubbish, it's mainly just research. I'm so bad at exams :p I think I might drop history and philosophy next year and try an intensive media course which is like AS and A2 in the same year..have to look into that..
I've finished my Physics, well, done as much as I can..he'll just have to deal with what he gets :p
I am soo chuffed with myself. I got 2.1 on both my essays i handed in before christmas. I am so happy.
Well done Katy.

Today was uneventful really..the Philosophy teacher asked for the homework today (the one I did in the libaray on Monday) and..erm...I couldn't find it  Promised it to him next lesson though
The parents have gone out tonight..they seem to be doing a lot of that lately :p But I can't complain, it's nice and peaceful :p

Bahhh... computer appears to have gone wonk. I went to turn it on, turned the monitor on and when I turned the processor on it came up with 'no signal'. It usually does that when the monitor is on without the processor :s Any ideas? I had to turn it off at the socket and come on on another computer.
Had a test in Biology today.. after the teacher said yesterday we were having another mock in a few weeks due to more than half the class getting U's in the mock. The mark scheme is sooooo picky! We had a graph on the first question that you can't even see the lines on and it only accepted one figure as the correct answer and not a range  I was one out! I didn't revise and did my homework in 5 minutes last night... got a C in the mock with no revision so I hope I've at least got that again or I'm for it.
Business, argh! I'm predicted an A* and I have no idea how I'm supposed to get that when someone who is most probably failing has walked off with my coursework folder! The majority of it can be reprinted but it is in one of like 5 places (one of which being the computer that won't start up) but there's some location details particularly which can't be replaced as they were real properties that were for sale on the internet in December 2006. Everything done on the coursework after that references the chosen location, argh. Everyone's like guessed it was my coursework because the teacher said it was someone's worth stealing and most people in my class are getting like D/E on their coursework.

Well done Davey. You will be a great role model for the school. Are you just depupty head boy until the summer or for next accedemic year. When I was at school the teachers used to choose the prefects during Easter from the fifth year pupils who would be in sixth year after the summer term, and they would be the prefects for the whole year.
My son pressed some button on my washing machine and it now won't work. I won't have minded so much if it wasn't in the middle of a wash.. now I have a basin full of wet clothes and my kitchen floor is soaked..
We never had a prefect or headboy/girl system. I suppose because my school is so big it would be hard to manage.
Pretty average day. Got up late so had to rush to get dressed and go to work. Went back to bed when I got in.

It was in a box labelled with our class reference in a cupboard, but because some of the people haven't finished the coursework, the teacher foolishly leaves it open so that the kids can go in at lunch or whatever, do some work on the computers and then print it off and get their folder out of the box to put it in. Someone must have slipped mine in their bag while they were at it.

Felt sick today for no reason. I think it's because I took the pill without having food first, but after an hour of dozing and a cup of tea feel back to normal.
I've been slowly making my way through Chemistry, it's not hard, just researching a copying and pasting (as long as I name my sources I'm fine :p) Just a bit boring and tedious. I'll take it to college on a memory stick tommorow and go over it with my friends see if I can make any improvements.
I think I've decided I'll take a year out after college. I'll try become a runner, see how it is, if I like it I'll go to Uni and get a degree, if it doesn't work out, I'll just do Chemistry instead. Definately want to go to Uni though :D

Awww. Which one's the trigger finger?? Is that the index one?? I'd use that to pull a trigger :hmm:.
Any finger can be affected, it is the medical term for the condition, it is my right thumb actually and the doc cut at the base of the thumb by the palm. Got 2 stitches for 10 - 12 days

LMAO what a fool :rotfl:.
Ohhh right. I thought it was actually the name for one of the fingers lol!
What is it?
Were you under when they did it?
Well, it is easy to think so lol. Basically, your tendon which moves the finger goes through a ring shaped band, my tendon got too big for no apparent reason and the doc cut the band so once the wound has healed I should be able to move my thumb properly again. Before it was either straight or bent but painful to move from one position to another, it was a jerking movement rather than smooth and quite painful. Also could not grab anything or hold a pen without pain. However, there are a lot worse conditions and illnesses and I will not feel too sorry for myself. It was done under local anasthaetic (?) and the op lasted 5 mins, I watched it. The nurse cut the blood supply at the top of my arm, there was not a drop of blood to be seen on my hand.
I failed. Eight minors and two serious. One serious for not using the whole road when I was turning round. How pointless is that? Its not like I hit anything, I thought I would hit the kerb so I played it safe and did it in five. He said I could have done it in four which is technically impossible.
Second serious was for my gears. Some idiot walked straight out in front of me so I had to brake then I thought I'd gone into first but was in neutral then I got all confused with my gears and had to pull over to sort myself out.
I went the wrong way as well :rotfl: He said he wasn't bothered about that though. He was a nice examiner, better than the last one.
I'm going to book it again as soon as I can.
DaVeyWaVey
11-02-2008, 19:51
Never mind Abigail. There's always next time. :) Atleast your examiner was nicer than the old one! Will you get the same examiner again or do you get a different examiner every time you take the test?
I don't know if I will get the same, it all depends on who is working on the day. As long as I don't get the idiot that I had the first time, Barry, I think I'll be ok.
StarsOfCCTV
11-02-2008, 20:29
Aww bad luck :(
My instructor told me it's fine to turn around the road in 5 if you're not sure you won't hit the kerb..:searchme:
My instructor said that too. She said it was impossible to do it in four and you can do it in however many turns you like (within reason of course) as long as you don't hit the kerb. Apparantly I didn't utilise the whole road.
Grrr, thats so pointless, giving me a serious for that
Boo, that's not fair :( Not to worry, I'm sure you'll be fine next time :)
I had the most mind-numbingly boring first day on placement. I filled in some paperwork. I took 2 blood pressures. I filled up a drawer with syringes. That's it. In eight hours. I swear my university are trying to bore me to death, or at least bore me into leaving my course :thumbsdow

today i overslept when i was meant to be having a rehearsal but luckily so did some of the other people in my group so we had it later instead. then went to netball, ended up running around a lot cos hardly anyone was there

yesterday was busy as usual. had a boring seminar in the library where she showed us loads of old documents and stuff, didnt see the point in it, after 1hr she told us we could use the rest of the library for research for the next hour but we all just went to lunch instead! my practical lesson was fun, we learnt how to do stage violence, i think with this module ive found something im really good at, my lecturer got the whole class to watch me and my partner cos we had got it really accurate :) then had cheerleading and came home and was knackered but stupidly didnt go to bed, instead i did the ever so normal thing of washing my hair at 1am lol!
today was meant to be my day for work but cant be bothered! gave in our forms for our house so hopefully now its all sorted and we can keep our house next year yay! im being sold in a slave sale this evening so that should be interesting lol although im slightly scared!

Have a nice time Stars :)
one of my friends failed because he knocked a postman off of his bike.
:rotfl: :rotfl: Was he alright?
Well, the postman was a bit shaky and had a few grazes, and my friend didn't regain the colour in his face for about a week! It was one of those "I know I shouldn't laugh, but that is the funniest thing I've ever heard" moments. It was a real struggle to keep a straight face!
Today was OK, went to uni in the morning and found half the campus closed because an "incident" occured last night at the bus stop, the place was decorated with lots of Police tape (which I nearly crossed as I walk around with my eyes shut half the time - they yelled at me :thumbsdow ), then had placement til 8.15, which was boring until my friend text me and told me Muse are headlining V2008! I got very excited and it made the rest of the day sunny and bright :cheer: Now I just have to work out where I'm going to find £150 by March 7th...!! Have literally just finished my dinner, and am considering going up to bed and watching a DVD on my laptop, as I don;t have to be in placement til 12.30 tomorrow, so I'm going to stay up late just because I can!
Oh man, what a child :rotfl:
Hope everyone's day was muchus funnus :D x
This week shouldn't be to bad!
Only had a two day week, cause of an inservice day and tomorrow and friday are our feb holidays:Dx
Monday - Erm i think it went ok, can't really remember much, i know for certain i went to see the school nurse about my anger as i am seriously having problems with it i basically punched the wall because i was soooo angry but i'm not planning on going into details.
Tuesday - was fun as it was our last day in school and i got really hyper didn't go in till break cause i didn't need to as i had a double free pierod 1st and 2nd and couldnt be bothered going in. My computing class is moving down to the techy block so we all stood on the desks and took stuff off the wall i then slowly moved over to the bit where the printer is and stacey was behind me and jokingly she pushed me as if to push me off but i didn't fall luckily. then me, stuart, stacey and caly plus mr liddle went to take the things down to room 12 and i couldn't open the door and when i did i managed stumbling into my best friends admin class who are down in the technical block on fridays. Was in fits!
today went out for lunch and then really came home and watched tv
Lol the postman thing does sound funny

The lightbulb almost killed me! Ok, so I exaggerate :p It was the ceramic/glass covering (about the size of..two soup bowls head to head) the lightbulb. I heard ping noise..then saw water dripping throught the lightbulb...thought I'd turn the light off to be safe.
Bad move :p Half of the lightbulb fell off..cat jumped on me (ouch), because water splashed everywhere  It was just luck that I wasn't standing under the lightbulb because it wouldn't be Germany I would be visiting it would be A&E :p
Anyway just thought I'd come on and tell you all of my near death experience
See ya all Sunday :D

We have had a break-in at work in the workroom last night. There was two base units and one monitor stolen. I locked the workroom at 4pm as the lecturing staff are all off for the holidays.
Yesterday afternoon there was one of the computer tech guys round checking PC for ones that needed updated, when I came into work this morning there were two monitors lying on the floor but my first thought that the computer services staff had left them like that to change some PC. I then found a student badge on the floor and realised that they had been stolen. The police were called and they have been to take a statement. They checked the CCTV around the college and apparantly the guy was seen coming into the college at around 5.45 last night were he has hid somewhere possible a toilet awaiting on the cleaners leaving the college. He was then spotted leaving the college at 9.15 with the stuff in a heavy duty recycling bag.

Apparently according to the janitors the alarms didn't go off but I don't know if there is a fault with them or if the janitor who was on lock-up last night has set them properly. One of the janitors told me at lunchtime that the student badge I found is not the guy who's image they have on CCTV but it may be a relative or friend.

I'm hacked off :p.
I said to my mate the other day that I might go out Weds if I had money left over from buying my mate a birthday card/present, and that I'm going to Tenby Friday with them all for lunch to celebrate... and I texted her last night telling her I didn't have any money left. Fine.
Then today she texted me saying she was bored. So I just said what I was doing. Then she said that the mate that said he would go out with her to the pub wasn't going anymore cos he's tired and that it's no wonder she hates "place I live". So I said it would be the same anywhere. She said.. "No its the people. You guys say you'll go somwhere then I get ditched for some crap reason like the rugby. I've had enough". So that made me fume. So I just texted back telling her "Sorry that I don't want to go out all the time and I want to do other things. Maybe you should find some people that DO want to go out all the time if that's how you feel about us!". Waiting for a reply now.
Just because she hasn't got a job at the moment and has quit college! There's such a thing as needing money for other things (driving lessons for example), I DO get tired I am NOT a robot, I like to laze about in the house at least once in a while! JEEZ!
well tkday i decdied to move my room around and have broken my wardrope in the process, it can still be used, i just can't move it around my room now, oh well:p
:angry: I am not a happy bunny.. I have been waiting all afternoon for repair man to come to fix my washing machine.. then my broadband and phone crash, i spend ages on hold then when I speak to someone they come back.. 20 mins later, they crash again and I call them.. wait ages and then everything comes back.. stupid company :wall::wall:

Had a good day today.
Went for lunch with a few mates for my mates birthday which was on Weds. Met someone new as she was friends with one of the other girls. She was nice and funny.
Had Chicken Korma and chips. Was yummy.
Then we went to the ice-cream parlour for dessert.
It was funny 'cause I kept dropping my ice-cream all over me :o. And on the floor .
Now I'm back home.

lol yeh it does sound weird! basically we had a slave sale to raise money for our cheerleading competition. people bid to "own" you for 24hrs and the highest bidder gets to buy you and you have to do whatever they want for 24hrs (which can be split up over the week) my mate bought me cos some random guy at the bar bidded for me and she didnt want me being owned by a weirdo lol! although someone else on the squad actually did get bought by a randomer!
thanks, but i dont think she will get better really, i think thats what my dad said the doctor was saying, she def wont get completely better anyway, she is 88 (on sunday) so its not likely :(

Just got home from buying a new mobile phone from Vodafone,a Samsung SGH-E250V, it is absolute cr*p, can't personalise as it only has one setting for a ring tone which is awful, it just does not have any options, only save what is pre-programmed. It was not expensive, I know, I do not expect an all dancing version, but a little more individuality would be appreciated. Won't have time to go back today but hope they will swap it for a better one on Monday.

I've had a rather eventful week. I had a party over mine Wednesday which was good, went to a sixthform party on Thursday night and my drink got taken off me by security and I got searched for drugs! The security woman must have thought I was some kind of druggie as she only told me to pull up my sleeves whilst she checked my arms, but she never asked anyone else to do the same thing.
Party over friends' house last night - was great fun! I recieved some abuse today though. I was walking down the street with a friend when this man in his 20s walked straight up to me and called me a faggot, he was so aggressive, i thought he was going to punch me!

No, because it does not contain a sim card. I am a little hard of hearing and never know whether my mobiles are loud enough for me to hear, so a good melodic ring tone is important for me.
I need a new phone, the signal hear is rubbish so i need to change network.
I am catching up on all my notes today, there is rather a lot to do.
I am absolutley knackered due to major cramps i had last night which resulted in me only having about 2 and a half hours sleep. Wanna go to bed but i currently can't cause i'm heading to my grandmas for dinner. And my brother is going to die he is seriously getting on my nerves!
Eating bananas and taking magnesium supplements (they come in nice tasting fizzy tablets) can help with cramps, this sorts mine out quickly when I suffer occasionally.

My parents told me today that they were going to send me to boarding school but the only day boarder around here isn't too good and there isn't any other day boardings locally. They could have sent me to a termly boarding :D I always wanted to go to boarding school.
CrazyLea

Wow really?? Why do you want to go to boarding school :p.
I don't know why I wanted to go. I like the idea of living away from home and having midnight feasts
I'm not sure that private education is better than what the state provides, although I think it probably will be in some areas of the country.
Boarding schools can be quite restrictive, no midnight feasts, no bf/gf, punishment for smoking or drinking booze etc :nono: . Got a friend who is at an all female boarding school and gets into a lot of trouble at times doing things we all want to do at times and she is nearly 18. Better check it out first!
Its too late now, I leave 6th form in May.
If I did go I would definately go to a co-ed. I wish I knew about this seven years ago then I could persuade my parents to send me away :cheer:

Good day. Got up at 11am. Had business this afternoon, me and my friend just sat talking. Had a laugh with our teacher. Teacher also said there is a business trip to New York that we could go on for £400 for five days. We probably wouldn't be able to go because we leave in May.

Radioactive substances...really? I never knew you could do that in schools :p
We can only do it because we're in year 13. They're in a lead container which has become radioactive due to the substances being in there 20 years. The science lab have a big cupboard with a skull and crossbones on it because there is a lot of radioactive things in there.
I don't know if we have to wear protective clothing or anything like that.

Got my NY Cup and we were all sat in the Sixth Form Block singing to Busted and Avril Lavigne... how cool are we? Lol
Just got home from dancing... I'm so tired. I worked really hard tonight and actually listened... which isn't like me :D
Yayy watching Skins now with a well earnt cup of tea :)
We were supposed to look at testis cells. It was in the syllabus for the last unit but we never did it.
How did you get to look at your own cells? We aren't allowed because of the risk of contamination. We can't even take a swab from inside out cheek.

I am sure you do, on telly they always wear all in one suits from head to foot and gas masks :D You have to cover your bits when you have an x-ray taken as well, it is dangerous stuff and I am sure you will be well protected.

This week has just been a joke. I'm having to pay out £3.40 for a bus every school day because I can't go in the taxi because I keep getting tearful over my Gran and having to sit around until what seems like Christmas to get home after dropping little kids off and waiting for them to get out of a primary school. Driver said he'd report me if I didn't change and I can't, I just feel like I want to rip his head off because he knew my Gran had died and said he didn't know why I was upset
Thursday and Friday we had an absolutely horrid driver who would have had points on his licence for the way he was driving if the police were there. Quite a few people were nearly falling off of their seats; I had to stand up with a file in my hand and it hurt so much and I fell into someone's seat and fell onto the floor at one point
Get home after that on Friday to find my best friend has gone into hospital. Begged Dad for 2 days to take me to the hospital to see her just once and he wouldn't do it  I would have paid the ridiculous bus fares because I would have seen her, but the busses don't go that way   One of her other friends is 18 and she can drive but she couldn't be bothered to go and see her which winds me up; my friend hates that hospital because her grandad was diagnosed with terminal cancer in there and the only visitors she got were her mum and step dad and she hates her stepdad.
Tomorrow I have to go to the doctors, because my mum thinks I might have depression. I woke up with a sore throat and headache this morning and I feel like I have a temperature. My balance is really bad when I'm ill and I have to walk all the way there and all the way back because my mum doesn't have the money for the bus  I didn't even have the energy to get out of bed this morning.
Dad fell out with his sister over my Gran's estate, so now I don't have a chance of ever seeing my Great Aunt again because he won't drive me to see her because he hates her. He keeps telling me I need to get out more but I can't. I have no money to shell out for bus fares to see the friends I do have (most of them I'd have to get 2 busses to reach anyway) he doesn't seem to understand "I don't have any friends on this estate."
On the upside I did get one of the DVD's I ordered come today, so I have been watching that.
I am sorry you are having so many problems right now. Is there a way you can complain about the driver? He is responsible for the SAFE transport of passengers, falling onto people's laps or on the floor is downright negligent on his part. If nobody complaints, the drivers will not change their behaviour and this might cause a real bad accident one day. I guess there is not much you can do about the buses you have to take to get to your friends/hospital/great aunt and the fact you have not got the money. Is there any chance of you earning some money by doing a part time job or babysitting or dog walking on your estate? You might make friends that way.
I hope you are going to feel better soon. :)
My teacher forgot to order the radiation equipment for today's lesson so we didn't get to radiate ourselves :( Its all perfectly safe as long as we don't point the radioactive lead at ourselves.
Mum isn't very well. She went to the doctors yesterday and fainted whilst she was there. Her right side has gone funny and she can't do much. I was talking to my teacher about it and when I said bye I felt like crying. I've been feeling really emotional recently.
Oh well, such is life.

Did the doctor say what she might be suffering from? I assume she is getting treatment? There is nothing wrong with you being tearful, it is perfectly normal to react that way. I hope your mum is feeling better real soon.
She has iron deficiency anaemia. The doctors don't know where she's losing her iron stores from, just that she is losing it. She's had lots of tests over the past few years but they still don't know what's causing it.
She has been having iron infusions but her consultant has now refused to give her them. She saw a haematologist who said that she shouldn't have them so now the general surgery consultant has stopped them but not done anything else. They're treating the sympotoms not the cause.
I feel ill myself. My throat is really sore and I'm knackered. I only had three hours sleep last night.

I had a rather good day today. College was a laugh as usual. My mates and I are all so crazy .
On the way home the police pulled over our college bus.. all because a boy chucked a bottle out of it while the bus was stationary . The boy has a fine now I think  Oh dear. That will teach him not to litter!
Then had work, which was rather good for a change :D.
And my mate just sent me a random text saying "Lannnnnnnnn, love youuuuu :)"... so that was nice  I love random texts like that :p.
I remember coming back from a wedding on a mini bus last summer. All the men on the bus were drunk and my two brothers in law took their pints on the bus. Speeding down the motorway at 2am they both decided to throw their glasses out of the window. Next day on the local news there had been a bad accident at the same place where they lobbed their glasses.
Its been really cold here today. Thick fog until 3pm. There is still ice/snow frozen on trees and bushes from last night. At the moment its -3C.

Oh dear .
This was thrown onto some grass though :|. It was just before pulling out of college.. and there's always masses of traffic backed up.. so the bus was stopped.. by a path and a grass hill.. and he chucked it on the grass.. unbeknown to him there was a police man parked on the hill (road bit) :p.
Yeah it's been really cold here too. Don't know the temp. But I'm usually a really hot person naturally.. even in the freezing cold!

I have a car! :cheer: woo :p well it still has to be serviced/MOT'd (going to get spare keys cut at the same time), taxed and insured so it'll be 2-3 weeks before I can drive it but still yey :D It's the 20 year old white mini :D I always said I'd never get a white car but it's a cute little thing :p
Had another driving lesson today, learnt reverse parking, not to bad, my day hasn't really been that evenful apart from buying the car, joys of being on half term :p
My friends coming round for a Casualty marathon tommorow :p (She hasn't seen the last 3 episodes) In the morning I'll go out and get some snacks, should be fun :D
I went to the doctors today. Got a blood form and she's ticked TFT (thyroid function) with carbamezapine  I'm not taking carba and really don't want to. Its what they give to manic depressives. She looked at my notes and said I haven't had some bloods done for a while so she wants some done.
I also seem to have shrunk by an inch to 5"5  I feel so small now.
Haven't done anything else with my day. Had to go to tesco to do some shopping. Mum is walking with a limp because of her leg. I'm so tired I can't even move. I'm going to have some tea then go for a shower if I can find the energy. So much for lucozade being an energy booster. Its done nothing.
Speaking of blood, how old do you have to be to be a blood donar and how can I sign up and stuff?
I had quite a good day, feeling really good about my drama, the exam is on the 15th April. Im also feeling really good about my biology coursework which Is heading in the right diretion :D I then went to the gym, that always makes me feel good about myself :p

I'm not sure but this website has all the info on it http://www.blood.co.uk/
When I'm older I'm considering joining the bone marrow donor register but I'm still unsure..
Well done on your work I should check what work I have to do havn't even looked :p
You have to be 17 and a healthy weight. You can only give blood three times a year. There are loads of other requirements to fill before you can donate.
You can go to the national blood bank website to sign up.
So I cant sign up now, even thought im 16? Cos I was wondering whether I could sign up just for future reference and information.
No, you will have to wait until you are 17. You can sign up at anytime to donate your organs as long as you are over 14 (I think).
 Hang on, I have to wait till im 17 to sign up to donate blood, yet for oragns its 14!
Yup. No idea why. I've been on the organ register for several years but I can't donate blood because I take medication.
I think the only conditions that disqualify you from donating organs are HIV and Hepatitis.
Thats crazy with the age thing
I had a good day, had my stitches removed from my thumb and won the SB Emmerdale and Coronation Street quiz, what more can a gal want?
