got my comedy slapstick show this evening, it classes as 60% of my module grade! gotta be up at uni by 2pm to have last min rehearsals and set up etc even though my show isnt til 8.30pm and the first show doors dont open til 6pm! think it should be fine, practised enough. so just eating lunch now and doing the last few things to my props then going up there
I joined a dance class last night. We did Salsa dancing god how sore are my legs today. It's just a trail run to see if the class picks up, if it does then it may run once a week. The next one is in a fortnight when we will be doing Ballroom dancing
Oooo what kind of ballroom dancing?

I have no idea probably a bit of everything to see how we get on and I after the summer if the community centre can get more funding they will provide the most popular dance classes.

Your dancing classes sound fun Kath! :) Good luck with your show Di M, hope you get a good mark. :) Hope your exam went well too Katy. I have my first AS exam today in English - I hope it goes ok.
I went on a date yesterday - it went really well.. but it's still all early days, so one day at a time. :)
The exam was beter than i expected. Now i can chill for a bit and focus on next weeks. THe weather is gorgous again today even if it is a bit hot.
It seems everyones very busy on here.
Glad it went okay Katy.
I have my first exam tomorrow, English Language, 2 hours of it, oh the joy!
Mine too, Christianity. Part of me wishes I had a subject I don't really care about first. At least I only have that exam this week, then I have at least one every day next week, the majority of which are the remainder of subjects I care most about. Fun fun!

I need to get of the sofa and start some revision. Went to two revision classes today so at least did something I guess.
Not looking forward to next week at all. Wish I didn't have two exams on the same day.

I'm ill :(.
Not going to College tomorrow.
I'm getting bad. 2 days this week for no proper reason, not like I'm dying. I'm always taking days off these days, just for the sake of it.
Only 5 weeks left in college. SOOOOO much work to do. Just can't be bothered any more.

Revised for Science 3 hours yesterday..
Did nothing today (in terms of revision) going to do 30 mins now!
Today at school it was really mad, everyone signing shirts and taking pictures..
Tomorrow it's the same..
Also had a drama rehearsal after school.. Real thing on Wednesday, ahhh!
Ahh I seem to remember you're in the same year as me?
I'm don't understand lol, I swear you only joined yesterday:searchme: x

I have never been so embarrassed! I've been on the computer typing out notes just to check I don't need to cram anything in, and there's a knocking on the door. I thought my mum forgot her key and nearly died when it was a delivery person! I'm still in my nightie! Soo embarrassing, he was like, "I need you to sign there.." and it's one of those computer type things and I'm like, "Where?!"
Got to get a bus two and a half hours before my exam, then I won't get home until gone 5. Sooo unfair :( Mum agreed to drive me until my dad started taking the mick out of her driving because she hasn't driven in years.

Had my first English AS exam this morning... i really don't know what to make of how I think I did... I think...well I hope I matched the assessment criteria - I put in a critic that I knew, said some stuff on context and added in my own opinions, as well as some quotes with analysis... I just hope that's enough. I wrote just over 2 pages for both essay questions.
Hope your Drama exam goes well today Spicy :)

Never mind I did my best and it's all I can do :)

thanks dave :) i think it went ok, i did a few bits wrong but no one would have noticed but it still annoyed me! i think ive performed it better in rehearsals but people laughed so that was good! and the show was sold out. only people who had reserved seats could come into our show and for the other show which i was doing front of house for we could only sell 20 tickets to people who hadnt reserved, i think we must have turned away about 20/30 people
only had about 4hrs sleep though so im knackered! just got my portfolio to write now which is due in on fri and then ive finished for the year! :D

That's happening to me on Friday... :( my ICT and English exams all clash.
Glad your show went well. :)
Okay well I have had my first AS english language exam this morning, 3 essay type things to do. I think it went okay, wrote loads got past half way through the 12 page answer book :p Made me laugh cos before I went in I remember asking my friends remember when we had to anaylise speechs, what was the point cos we didnt do much? The the text we had to analyise was a speech!
Oh I also went to Asda for an eye test cos Im starting to get my contact lenses from their cos its cheaper. Before I was -1.75 in one eye and -1.50 in the other. That was when I got them last tested in October 2007. Now Im -2.25 in one eye and -2.50 in the other!!!!
Meh! Public transport! I got out of the RE exam having mixed feelings about how it went only to find I'd missed the bus by a few minutes! Rang mum who said she'd ring dad to see where he was and he was in a place it would have taken an hour at least for him to get to me, so she said to get the next bus which I started loudly protesting at. My mate then came out of the exam (her extra time had just finished by this point; she's dyslexic) and she said I could go back to hers for a bit to chill out as we don't have any more exams this week. Dad refused to pick me up from there so I had to get the stupid 10 past 4 bus because there aren't any later ones. Won't see her for like a week now, grrr! We ended up just walking about for a bit and bumped into the RE teacher who started asking how the exam went and which of the optional questions we did. We were just like, "Nooooo!"
Awww lol, worst thing is bumping into a teacher after the exam. So how did you think it went?
Well I didn't have to answer any of the topics I didn't want to as the obligatory question was on a topic I quite liked; I think I waffled in some places though and wrote more on some of the questions than others. The teacher started asking me what the b part of one of the optional questions I'd done was and I'd forgotten! Maybe that's a good thing lol. She's confident me and my mate have done well though; she's got the head of RE to pay for a holiday for her if a certain amount of her students get an A* and she went, "I'm looking forward to my holiday!" No pressure for the Islam paper then lol!

Had my drama exam today, and I was nervous about a lot stuff but I put everything into it and I think it worked out really well.. In a fighting scene two of the boys in my group were fighting and backstage me and the other two girls were dancing to the music, it was the final scene so we were really cool about it and in the end we walked out like this > :D
So I am pleased, hopefully I have secured my first A-A*.. I will be really dissapointed if I find a B on Aug21 now!

Been soo hot today - like a flippin' furnace on the bus home!
Just spend 3 hours in the libray studing for my english exam tomorrow and i now kind of know how to write an essay. About to go do an interp in half an hour then i'll finish off my essay then that's me finished for the night :)x

All my exams are timetabled for the morning which means I have to be supervised over dinner.
I'm rather surprised that its physics and business that have clashed, its always been biology and business which have clashed in the past.
Done a bit of revision today. I have to finish a past paper off then I'm going for a shower, get into bed and watch some House. I'm knackered.
I was going to ring the EMA people up today to get my bank account details changed but I've forgotten to do it. I think it will be too late tomorrow to change it for Friday so it looks like I've lost another week's EMA because of the damn bank. I might go into the office tomorrow and see if they have already authorised the payments. If they haven't I'll ask them to not authorise it for this week and get it backdated next week.

I was told that I would have to do that last June but the exams officer juggled my timetable round and I withdrew from one exam so I didn't have to. Still ended up with five exams in one day.
Why do they have to do that? To both of you :S
There is a limit to the total hours of exams you can sit on one day. If you can't sit all your exams on one day you have to stay at a teacher's house to ensure you don't ring somebody up and ask what the questions are. Then you sit the exam on the next day.
I guess you're screwed if you can't sit all the exams on a Friday and have to wait until the Monday to do them. That would be a fun weekend.

Oh right really . Oh gosh I'd never be able to do that. How embarrasing!
It doesn't happen often. In the last three years only one person from my school had to stay at a teacher's house. The tracher ordered him a pizza and the lad stayed in his room the whole night.
I'm so glad that I didn't have to, it would be so embaressing. I look awful in a morning

Just read all the posts I've missed today!
I have 5 exams in one day on 3rd June :( Boohoo
And yeahh! We were all scared that we'd have to stay at a teachers house because we didn't know how long the exams would go for but it turns out that it's ok.
Our RE teacher had to have a girl stay over hers though but she got her pizza and all that. I would cringe if it was me but it's not me so oh well :) lol
Anyways.
My days been good :)
Did my exam then came home... completely cleaned my room
Went to SLimming World and lost another 1lb (Im pleased because I've been bad this week)
Which means I've lost 11lbs in 3 weeks and I'm only 3lbs off a stone! :D
Then went out with a few friends and ended up having a game of football... I was ace. Haha not.
Now I'm going to bed to make lotsss of notes for my 3 Lit exams Friday!
Good luck with your exams everyone!
I know one person in my year whho has to do his exam on a saturday cos of clashes!
I made sure I could stay with my tutor if I had to. I wasn't going to be stuck with one of the deputy heads like one lad was.
How is everybody feeling about exams? There seems to be a lot of us doing them, GCSE through to degree.
I keep switching between mega stress head then being completely calm and rational. I'll probably feel the pressure next Friday afternoon when I've left for good.
I know there are loads of us this year doing exams of some sort!
I feel okay at the moment but once english is over I think I will start to worry. Next one is geography, remember all the problems I had with geography?
Next one is geography, remember all the problems I had with geography?
Yeah. How did you get on with doing the work yourself? I wouldn't have the motivation.
Geography Exam i'm sure your'll be fine. It will be better when its over though.
I remember my mate had to stay at the principles house because of clashes. I am really scared about my next one. But i have taken to revising in Varsity. Its weird as i feel i can work better when there is background noise.
Might try and get out a bit later have a break and maybe go for a run or something.
Whats you next exam?
In a way I'm glad I'm doing A2 exams because I have more time to revise. I just wish they were over though. Five weeks until my last one.
two weeks till my last one.
My next one is The Law of Equity and Trusts followed by Economics. Argh!

I am on a break now til 1ish...then I will revise my next text.

I've had so much cold stuff today I'm probably going to collapse soon :p.

Contact lens trials are free. You just ask for some diagnostics and they will give you a week's supply. You should never pay for diagnostics.
I've done pretty well on my biology coursework. I got 28/32 (about an A) so I'm really pleased. I spent a lot of time on it (almost a year  ) and made all my results up so its good that I've managed to do well.
I got 23/30 on my physics coursework too. I was surprised because I only spent four hours planning typing it up. Maybe if I'd have put a bit more effort in I would have got more. Its roughly a B so I guess its ok. I'm going to fail the course anyway so there wasn't much point in trying too hard. I got Us at AS in the modules so I don't have a hope in hell of passing the A2. I'm considering not revising for it and just concentrating on biology and business and get a good grade in them. I'm quite disappointed about failing physics. I can do the work but I just can't apply it in the exam.

No one came into school today, meaning 90% of our year didnt..
Long story cut short, how head of year says we are not allowed study leave under government rules but he thinks we should be allowed so said we can miss 5th lesson and if we have exams in morning/afternoon we don't have to come in.
so 90% of school decide they stay at home and on msn and stuff..
I had business (and I like my teachers :p) so I went in and 2 other people in my form took a business mock, no one else came in  So our form tutor is JOKES so she had a free lesson and she took the mock paper with us HAHA..!
She never done business before and she got an A/B borderline! I got another B again which I didn't expect because I found this paper a bit harder! So was very pleased! Then 2nd lesson I had drama and my form tutor is my drama tutor so it was a very relaxed lesson as we complated all our drama exams!
My business teacher gave me a 1hr 45mins paper to do so instead of going English & Science I sat in the library with a few of mates mates who was just relaxing and I did the paper and handed to him at the start of lunch then went home!
Good day overall, was pleased and it's my lil bro's 6th birthday today! :D Wooo but we can't have a party as my dad's uncle died and well yeah.. I sort of feel sorry for him a way but mum explained it to him and he understands, bless him.
Fingers crossed for an enjoyable day tomorrow too! x

i was thinking about getting contacts. I think someone might have to explain what ineed to do as it all sounds a bit confusing.
Im off to meet a mate in a minute to have a bit of a revision session. We're going to Varsity rather than the library. I like his style!
I think someone might have to explain what ineed to do as it all sounds a bit confusing.
Its pretty simple once you've had them in and out a few times. The first time I put them in myself took 45 minutes.
There are several different types: daily disposables, monthly disposables and continuous wear. The continuous wear ones are worn all the time, including sleep, for a month. Which sort you can have will depend on your prescription and if you have problems with your eye like astigmatism. Prices vary between types too.

Never mind... I'm just going to work 10 times harder for the rest of my exams so I don't feel like that again :)

Never mind... I'm just going to work 10 times harder for the rest of my exams so I don't feel like that again :)
Don't worry too much about it. I cried before and during my lit GCSE exam and thought I did really bad. I was shocked when I came out with an A. I didn't even revise for the exam and I missed most of year 11 too.
I'm sure you'll be fine. Don't forget that you have your coursework as well.
I must of been pretty good when I got my contacts it only took me 5 mins

Lucky you!
I had 2 english exams today, each 1 hour and a half, so that was 3 hours in the sports hall which was kinda cold. It went okay, but the transcript to analysis was so boring, it was an interreactional piece, talking about trees! So dull.
Now I have my geography to look forward to on tuesday, 3 of them since Im resitting one, another 3 hours, oh the joy!

English is something you can blag more easily than maths or science.
Our leavers' do has been changed from a sit down meal and dance to a party. I'm going now because I don't have to fork out for a ticket or buy something to wear because I got a dress the other day. It should be good fun, the venue is usually closed on a Tuesday so it will be a private party. Only downside is year 12 are invited to OUR leaving do  Why not invite year 11 while they're at it and have it as a joint 11 and 13 leavers' party?

What's wrong with Year 12? I was going to go to mine tonight as Year 12s were invited but I have decided not to bother as the Year 13s attitude is "we don't want Year 12 there" ... so what is the point?

Its a celebration for the year 13, year 12 will get their's next year. Its a general consensus among the year 13 that year 12 shouldn't be there, its not their leaving do.
i wouldnt think that years 12s should go to the last years leavers do as like you say its there turn next year. We never had that problam as i went to a college. So there were like a 1000 of us iin our year with just Upper sixth there woiuld have been no room.
Had a dead good days revision today. I am really pleaed with myself but i still dont think i know enough for the exam on tuesdayl

Next Friday, but the Double Applied Science course is 70% coursework so as long as I don't completely flop I should be alright. (I hope) :p
Thats alright then, my biology isnt till the 3rd June
Four weeks and five days until my exams are over. Five weeks tomorow until I go on holiday :D
For those that are doing A2, you can go on the UCAS website from 12am on the day the results are given out to see if you have got into your firm or insurance choice. Universities get the results about a week before schools/colleges get them so they can process the results and decide if they want you if you haven't met the conditions. You will only be able to see if you got in or not, you can't find out your grades on UCAS.

I'm going out for a bbq at my auntie's today. I don't particulary want to go, I have revision to do. I'm going to take my notes and hope people don't think I'm being ignorant. My mum is going to make me go seeing as I got out of going for tea at my sister's last night (imaginary headache). I hate it when people wake me up, it makes me feel ill.
I'm fed up of my mum say "our chairs must still be at Nicola's" (my sister). If she's said it once she's said it a dozen times already.
The sun is out today so i might revise out there later. At the minute just typing up my notes.
Watched Casualty before as a bit of a break and should probably think about making some dinner soon. I really cant be bothered. I should really try and change my body clock as well so i go to bed a bit earlier than 2 and wake up before mid day, it is a terrible habit i have gotten into.

I'd just go to bed, solves everything. I feel like heading there myself. Spending five hours with family has given me a headache. I feel like crying, I always do when I've spent time with family. Its not that I don't want to leave, I can't wait to, but my mum has lots of siblings and when they get together its just too much for me. Most of them smoke so I smell like a chimney and they just give me headache.
Got to hold my half cousin, he weighs 8lb 10oz and he's tiny. Makes me wonder how big I was at two weeks old, I weighed less than 5lb.
aww, how cute my mates just had a baby and she was 5Ib she was tiny to hold but Sooo cute.
My family when all together are too much as well. I had that family do last week and me and my mam were so ill afterwords.

Dont worry you two, it will be find, just answer everything in anyway you can. You'll get the grades you want, to be honest for maths I did hardly any revision, I got a C in the mock and came out with an A in the real thing which I thought was really odd.

1/4 there and it went well.. But I thought I better not get my hopes up to high till I'm half way there.. okay 1/2 there and it's still going alright, just one problem but I kept on going and I think it went alright. Obviously the final few questions were quite hard, except the last 2 unusually but yeah.. And I think I got about 80ish < marks so yeah! I think that = a b.. I hope!

today i went up to uni, had to pay a fine on my library book cos i forgot it was meant to be back yesterday and cos it was the weekend you dont get a reminder about it. asked if my usb stick had been handed in but it hadnt :( picked up my netball team photo (which has been the only vaguely good thing about my day so far!) went to the club to see if my phone had been handed in, on the website it said it opened at 9, got there at half 10 (glad i was lazy and had a lie in!), it didnt open til 11 so had to wait around, then it was late opening anyway and i was told the manager wasnt in til 12 so even if my phone had been handed in i wouldnt be able to get it! apparenty it wasnt handed in though not sure how he could tell cos there was lists and lists of stuff and he just flicked through the pages!
need to tidy my room up today as im going home tomorrow for a few days

Glad it went ok, i have just back from pub and amazingly i think imay have learnt something.
There really are not enough hours in the day when i have this much stuff to do.

what tier are you doing spicy, cos depending on the tier depends on what percentage you need for each grade. im sure you did fine though :)
Doing higher tier, my teacher did say the grade boundries would be changing as now D is included for high paper in Maths.. So I think it will be going up, making it a bit harder to get a higher grade.. x
Did you do Edexcel Specification B, Spicy? I finished early as well, ended up going back to a question I thought was a bit dodgy and managed to put something that I think was remotely right according to MathsWatch, instead of some random piece of calculation lol! Then basically just checked it. Went much better than I was expecting, much better than my mock in which I got a B so hopefully I could get an A if the calculator section goes well.
English Lit tomorrow, soo much more nervous about that.
Good luck to all of you who are sitting your exams, I am sure you will all do very well the way you are all revising and swotting up. Nearly over and then you can relax during your summer break. xx
I am so sore after exercising yesterday, it is not fair. :nono: Will try to do a little more today but deffo not the whole DVD again

oh right. when i did my gcses 4yrs ago (that makes me sound old lol!) the boundaries were 20% C, 40% B, 60% A, 80% A*. obviously Ds werent included but id guess that if you got just over 50% you should probably be fine to get a B (dont know for definite though). im sure you did fine though if you think it went ok :)
I got a B on my mock with 62%, so I think the boundaries are quite a bit higher than they were.
They are always changing the boundaries from year to year, its too confusing

They're a rough guide. What happens is, after all the papers have been marked the examiners get together and discuss the results and where they think the exact grade boundaries should be. It also depends on how hard the paper is. If candidates found it easy and scored high then the grade boundaries will be set high. Last year's physics A2 paper was hard compared to other years so the grade boundaries were lower for that paper than they had been in previous years.
My brother in law is taking my car. He has to commute to Newcastle everyday so I'm going to be without a car because it'll be 70 miles away at his house. Everybody else seems to use my car except me. My sister is still on the insurance even though she's got her own car, my dad uses it to take rubbish to the tip and now my BIL is using it for work

How long will your BIL use your car? How do you get around yourself? I hope he will show his appreciation when he no longer needs it - if he wants to buy you a Ferari as a thank you gift, don't be shy and say "no"

I don't know how long he will have it. He was promised a company car (he's in the army) because he lives in Catterick so has to commute a fair way. When he got to work this morning in his own car he was told that there is no company car.
I live on the outskirts of town so I don't venture out much except to school which is about 10 mins away. The nearest cash machine and shop is a mile away. My dad drives and my sister lives four miles away so if I need a lift somewhere then I can ask one of them.
I think a ferarri is pushing it but I'll have his Audi A4 avant sport version car.
Which reminds me that I need to sort out some transport back from my leavers' do tomorrow night. The venue is two miles away and I don't fancy walking home at 1am. I doubt my dad will turn out for me when he's been at work until 11pm.

He has got a car. A very nice car that likes petrol very much. He can't afford to go to Newcastle everyday in it because of the cost of petrol at the moment. My car does a lot more miles to the gallon so it won't cost as much to run. Only trouble is my car is going to clock up 500 miles every week  Better on mine which is 12 years old than on his three year old Audi I guess.
Leavers' do tonight  I can't wait, I haven't been out since new year's eve. Luckily Stalker Boy won't be there tonight.

The revision session for Biology wasn't much help. BUt on the way back my friend and I managed to revise a bit of biology by getting Eastenders into a discussion about recessive alleles.
I'm just doing Philosophy past questions now. I'm doing the essay part. I'm trying to do them by my 'own knowledge'. (Haven't cheated so far :p ) I'm using Borat as inspiration for how someone acts during a religious experience. Who says TV never taught us anything
Some people are coming for a commitee meeting tonight. (Dads Rotary) Better stock up on food they don't like us coming in to get stuff  Better clear up the sitting room as well. It's like a tip in here my papers are everywhere
This Saturday it's the Kew Guild dinner. Yes it's as boring as it sounds. Also means I won't get to watch Indiana Jones :cheer: until Sunday/Monday! :(

Yep AQA A for English Literature. I did "To Kill a Mockingbird" and my two modern poets were Duffy and Armitage. Yours? At my school you don't need Lit to get into Sixth form, and even if you don't get a C in Lang you can still do A Levels if you have at least 5 C's, you just have to retake English while you're in Sixth form. Does yours not do that?
You got Biology tomorrow by any chance, Spicy? I also have Part 1 of my controlled test for Media, as the school decides where they put that on the timetable. Fun fun, I'm gonna be in school all day because of that stupid timetable and I can't concentrate on revision there :thumbsdow
Dad  Rang him after I got out the exam as I couldn't get hold of my mum for the bus times. He didn't know them and just took the mick saying he didn't need them because he can drive. He does it to wind me up just because he knows I can't wait to learn. I got home about 5 minutes before him in the end because I had to get 2 different busses, the times of which don't match up at all. He went straight into taking the mick again (this was about 2 ish.) "What've you been doing? You rang me at 11 ish; I've been to the South coast and back in that time!" Typical men!

Did all 3 geography papers today so my exams finished at 16:45!!! My hand was killing, I think I did okay I loved some of the questions but hated others. I nearly had a nervous breakdown before I went in, my head had too much information!
Thats a good point actually when is my results day?!?!?!?! I have no idea, its definistly before August so i assume July sometime.
I'll be hoilday on my results day so they will get posted home :(
i remember being on holiday for my AS Levels so i got them online and my A Level results were on the day of my grandads funeral so i had to get them online again at my uncles school. It was weird getting them with people i didnt know,
How can you get them online?
we had a thing on our college through a moodle type thing. it was like an online blackbourd that the teacher put notes on throughout the year.
Oh right, No I think mine gets posted home so when I get back it means they will be there. Waiting.
I'm sure it'll be fine, i always worry way to much about exams and results and half the time there really is no need.

I'm more worried at the fact that I'm not nervous for the exam... and we haven't had a teacher for the written side for 2/3 weeks so we've been teaching ourselves. It's pretty much common sense so far and I'm lucky in that I have comon sense.. even if I don't have the best brains

thats what i was thinking as they are also internally marked so it should take less tie than what i am used to.

Urgh. Just gone and failed my English Language exam.

I don't care how many resits I have to do for English Language I'm determined to get a decent grade.

Aww Im sure you havent failed. What did you have to write about?
Kirsty :]
21-05-2008, 12:53
I really have.. when I cam out about 4 people said to me did you actually do any work because when they looked up I wasn't doing anything.. I jsut didn't have a clue what to include so I wa sracking my brains to remember the terms!
Well paper 1 we had to write an advertisement for a newspaper article like the Guardian about the MI6 recruiting.
Then we had to analyse what we'd wrote.
Then paper 2 we had 2 questions
I did the second which was 3 reviews on Casino Royale and we had to analyse them.
I get mine the week before GCSE results.
Last night was good. Me and a friend drank our way through the cocktail menu. We only had one left to go but I couldn't stand so I gave it a miss. I was still drunk at 9am this morning  I feel sick now  The barman was cute, we talked for a bit. Lots of people with partners were getting off with other people
 Lol Abigail! Sounds like you had fun.
And Kirsty Im sure just cos you had to think what to write you have failed, Loads of people in my english exam left early and others had to think for a while and these were the really clever people.
I wanted to know what you had to write about cos our papers have been very politcal themed, wondered if that was across the boards as well
Don't worry too much Kirsty, there's nothing you can do now to change it. You probably did better than you think.
Kirsty :]

Haha yeah it did sound like you had fun Abigail. I like cocktails. They're gorgeous!
Ummm I don;t know about the whole politics thing but we did the language of politics in class because there was a chance it could come up.. I'm not sure lol
Yeah In Unit 2 we had a news paper article based on the war to analysise and then in Unit1 a speech by David Cameron

What a day!
Had this big presentation to do today in college. Groups of 3... kinda a competition between us all. There was a panel of 5 people watching us... and okay we were supposed to be at half 2.. but we lost all of out powerpoint!! Well not all of it, but the finished one.. so we went to get assistance, and it was in the temp files because we saved it wrong or something, so we couldn't get it back.. it was 2:15.. we were all panicking, we had to redo like 5/6 slides, then send all of our slides to each other, put them in order.. we had no idea what we were gonna be saying (I know it was written on the slides, but you know what I mean).. We made it just in time... and I think it went okay. Won't find out til after half term though! I hope we win :p.
But oh gosh, we all felt like crying hah!!!

I spent most of the day at court. In February there was a number of break-ins at the college my workroom being one of them, they were all done by the same lad as he was identified on CCTV. There were 4 of us from the college called as witnesses along with police officers and CID. The Accused was pleading not gulity so we had to sit in the witness room from half nine until 1pm when the court clerk came in to tell us that the accused had changed his plea to gulity so all that hanging around was pointless and a waste of tax payers money.

As i have an exam on this on tuesday i should be anle to expand on "stuff" but at this moment in time, i cant! Its a shame you had to waste your day.

I remember you saying about some computers (I think) being kifed. Whats the verdict?

Very nervous about tommorow's exam. I can only try my best I suppose..I've spent all day yesterday and today summarising my notes. There's a couple of area's I haven't managed to complete but I will just look over them and hope they don't come up!
Thankfully I have a gap inbetween the two exams I can revise then.
Then it's party time  For the weekend at least lol.

Last minute cramming before the exam is fruitless, you won't learn any extra information in a couple of hours that you haven't learnt already.
I revised elasticity of demand the morning of my business exam. The whole paper was on EoD and I couldn't remember anything.
Good luck, hope you do ok.

Of course, everybody is invited. Just bring some booze and food and a guest if you wish. Leanne is bringing two.
I'm feeling slightly emotional now that the leavers' assembly has finished. Everybody was letting party poppers off and we got these balloons that make a funny noise and fly around the room when you let them go.
Me and a few friends were going to go down the pub but it doesn't open until 12pm. Its kinda good because I have work this afternoon and I'd probably turn up drunk or not at all  I'll probably go out later tonight to the Mucky Mac.

You can bring a friend to our shoutbox party later. Anybody you like :D I'm bringing Hugh.
All exams finished until after half term now. 7 down, 10 to go, lol.
Business Studies today. Was very nervous because I got an A* in my mock. It was ok, just the lack of time really. Finished the paper in the end, I just hope I've managed to get enough in from the case study to get an A* again. One of the questions was a bit tricky as it was more economics, but the teacher said they'd probably have to put the boundaries down over it as she couldn't imagine many people would get very high on it. I think I did ok on the question in the end really so hopefully. Teacher said I should need about 70% for an A* and I got 82 in my mock. I don't want my results though lol!
Had my Media yesterday and on Wednesday. My fineliner split at the point and made my storyboard a bit messy just before the end so I couldn't do much about that. Teacher said they're more interested in the camera angles and technical details though so hopefully that shouldn't matter too much.
Biology on Wednesday too. Had to stay in all day because of it which annoyed me because I hate it. Some of the questions were really random. I haven't spoken to one person who thinks they've managed to pass it yet lol!
Taking tonight off of revision after having to walk from town to avoid having to get 2 busses after exam. I better not wear any shoes all week before I end up with a blister lol.
lol Guests, what are you on about?
You can bring a friend to our shoutbox party later. Anybody you like :D I'm bringing Hugh.
I can't decide between Zac Efron or Matt King to bring :rotfl:

Bring them both! Leanne has two people coming. Hugh is bringing his piano to play us some tunes. He's a brilliant pianist.

Bring them if you like but tell them to zip it when Hugh is playing.

  No point in bringing them if there is no music
Can I bring the cast if lost :p
The whole cast? Erm... I think it might get a bit crowded. What the heck, the more the merrier :D
Can I bring the cast if lost :p
They scare the fooking life out of me
lol well how about just Jack and Sawyer?
All of them scare me, I will have to stay close to Zac and Matt if they are there :lol
We're going so off topic here. Lets carry on in the shoutbox

Science - First paper. Greatest questions I could wish for. Answered them all, I think I did well but I never like to speculate just in case..xP
The second paper..omg..opened it..many colourful words running round my head...That paper was badly failed  Luckily it was the 45 mark one. The easy one was 90 marks :D Plus we did a coursework that was half of the rubbish exam so I should be ok...Everyone found the second paper awful so I'm not alone at least.
Philosophy..was better than I thought. There was a question on idealism :D That Philosophy thread came in handy...xP The Plato's republic was the easiest paper. The theory of knowledge was a bit tricky. I think I passed. I hope I did. I tried my best though :p
Abigail your right revising before doesn't help. I tried but I couldn't concentrate on it :p
And now relaxing...lets party tonight :cheer:  I'm bringing Toby ;) :rotfl:
Whoooo glad your papers were okay and yes that thread was handy :p

Oh.Em.Gee :D
Yesterday and today have been FAB!
I took Drama as an option for GCSE and there is a trip that year 10 go on every year. (the year ten at that time) So we went to Stratford to see A Midsummer Night's dream at the Courtyard theatre performed by The Royal Shakespeare Company. I can honestly say I have never seen anything like it! One of the best parts was that Kathryn Drysdale who plays Louise in Two Pints, was playing Hermia and today (we saw it last night) we were out and about in Stratford, and we bumped into her and the rest of the cast, so I asked her for a picture with her and asked if she would mind signing my programme. ;] Which she did! And she was soo sweet :D although I'd never realised how short she was! There's me - 5ft8" and she's barely up to my shoulders! The show was amazing, harldy any set/props but they were such good actors/actresses it wasn't needed.
It's on until November so if you are near, or even have to travel (it's really worth it! We did for 4 hours ;]) I would definitely reccommend it! Our tickets were £14, but I'm not sure if that was as we booked for 21 of us (18 students & 3 teachers.)

Sorry if I've rambled!!
the RSC put on some great shows but ive never been a fan of a midsummers night dream, theres too many fairies.
I am still struggling how i managed to fit a motgage repayment and a dead dog together in my contract law exam today, i cant see me passing that on e somehow. And everyone thinks im thick now as well as i though Glamorgan was in Scotland.

I did get a photo, only problem is I have no leads for my phone to connect to the computer, or a bluetooth dongle! Kinda blaggy! Is there a picture section? I seem to have missed that one!

There is under the Mile High Club but you need loads of posts before you can access it. I think it is 1000 posts :(
I have a phobia about spiders. Just went into the bathroom and there was one big beast abseiling right onto the loo seat  Managed to stay calm, get a pint glass and a saucer, trapped the beast in the glass, shoved the saucer on top (the beast nearly got out) and chucked Sidney, the Spider out into the garden. Feel a bit sick now, but glad I did not kill it like I normally do. Not their fault I am scared and that they got into my living space.
