There was an unexploded ww2 bomb somewhere on the tube so our train line was severely delayed but luckily we weren't late :)

Lee Mead in a short towel  :p If you didn't know the story then I think you'd find it a bit confusing though. But it was a good show :D

talking of bombs, we had a bomb scare at uni last week. some idiot left a suitcase in the library unattended. the whole of uni was cordened (sp?) off and there were loads of police and the bomb disposal people! they blew it up in the end, and it turned out the suitcase had the guys end of term project in lol!

glad you had a good time stars :)

:rotfl: That'll teach him not to leave things lying around.

I'm just doing some revision. I'm starting to panic now, business and physics on Wednesday. I'll be ok with one of the business units, the other one is finance. It's pretty straightforward stuff but its just remembering formulae and definitions. I'll fail physics anyway so I haven't really revised that. I didn't pass at AS so there's no way I can pass, even if I do super duper well on my A2s (which wouldn't have happened if I had revised). I know the content but I just can't apply it in the exam. I'm not too bothered by it myself but I feel like I've let my teachers down. I only took physics because everything I wanted to do clashed with business and every other subject bar two I couldn't do because I didn't do them at GCSE. Which left chemistry and physics. I can't stand chemistry so physics it was.

I'm feeling more confident about biology now. I'm remembering a lot more just by going over my notes and spider diagrams every day and saying them out loud.

Anyway, I'll stop waffling and get back to my notes :D

Pretty good day.
Went to the boot sale about 9 this mornign because I'm cool with my Mum Nan my brother and the babies (family day out or waht? lol)
Then came home and was burnt very badly and I'm in so much pain now :(
Had dinner with lots of the family again :)
Then went out for a meal haha for my friends 18th for an Indian which was very yummy :)

On the down side :( My dog is really ill. For the past 3 nights just as he's settling to go to sleep he's started fitting and when he recovers from it his back leg keeps going and he seems really disorientated :( I'm really worried but I can't show it because my Nan is in pieces so I'm the one telling her it's probably something and nothing :(
My Grach is going to take him to the vets tomorrow morning asap so we can gte it sorted and know what it is that's wrong :(

Post-ictal confusion and weakness is common after seizures. How old is he? Has he been ill recently? Sometimes seizures occur when a person or animal is run down and ill.

He went tot he vets this morning and they did a scan and blood tests and they rang and said somethign has changed in his blood so my Granch has to go down there at half 5 and they will explain everything properly.

Charity shops are a good place to start if you're willing to work for nothing.

Had a haircut, well, trim today. Drove there. Some idiot almost made me crash into him because he decided to reverse into a main road and since I didn't have time to brake I had to swerve to avoid him.

My Granch went to get him so when he tried to tell us what the vet had said... he'd forgotton most.
Anyways
The vets have him on antibiotics and valium
From what my Granch was saying... I think he's diabetic?
He;s had another fit tonight but he shoudl get better when we have him on antibiotics properly.
The vet did mention something about his liver... and he has a high protein level
I'm pretty pants at Biol so can only suss out basics but for all you Biologists out there... if you could come up with anything that would be a big help :) Thankyou x

In other news, just been dancing and came home and now watching BB :)

Abigail

I'm not sure about the other stuff but diabetes will mean he will need a shot of insulin everyday I think.

Depends if he's type one or two. Type two is more common in older or overweight people (or dogs). Type one needs daily insulin shots, type two is diet controlled, sometimes together with meds.

I can't see why antibiotics and valium would be prescribed for diabetes. A sure fire way to know if he is diabetic is to test for sugar in the urine.

Valium is used as an anticonvulsant, among other things. This is from drugs.com

In animals, Valium appears to act on parts of the limbic system, the thalamus and hypothalamus, and induces calming effects. Valium, unlike chlorpromazine and reserpine, has no demonstrable peripheral autonomic blocking action, nor does it produce extrapyramidal side effects; however, animals treated with Valium do have a transient ataxia at higher doses. Valium was found to have transient cardiovascular depressor effects in dogs.

Basically it will make him more relaxed but high doses may make him clumsy (ataxia). It can also depress the cardiovascular system (heart), although it will come and go.

It is important that you give the valium at the same time everyday i.e. every twelve or eight hours, depending on the dose. Seizures are caused by neurones in the brain misfiring (sending too many or sending wrong signals to parts of the brain and body). Valium works on receptors in the brain and neurones to calm them down. Suddenly stopping treatment is like letting a junkie go cold turkey (best analogy I could think of)

Unless he has an infection that is causing the seizures (would have to be pretty bad or in his brain/spinal cord to do that) then the antibiotics won't stop the seizures.

High protein levels in the urine are indicative of kidney problems. High protein in the blood can mean a chronic (long term) infection or inflammation.

Abigail you're liek a human google... it's brilliant lol
By reading your replies I don' think it's diabetes... I actually think he has Alzheimers (if thats even possible) He jsut seems so disorientated and he's peeing in the house now and again (sorry for the tmi) and he never ever does that... which is what's making me think hes senile or something?
Anyways I'm going to the vets with him Thursday with my Nan to see how he is... I will ask questions because we didn't really find out much today lol :)

Abigail
09-06-2008, 23:52
He may just be weeing in the house because he doesn't have the energy or strength to get up and go outside.

I'm not sure about Alzheimer's and bladder control. It is certainly possible in the latter stages of the disease when the person has no idea who they are or what's happening. I can't remember how old you said he was but when dogs get old things don't work as well as they should do. A bit like humans, arthritis, joint pain, incontinence etc are all signs of getting old.

Disorientation, seizures and bladder control problem all point to something neurological.

I hope you have pet insurance, it could prove to be very costly.

At least my A level in biology is useful for something

On the other hand I feel like complete rubbish.
I'm off up the mountain soon with friends for a BB-Nic (BBQ/Picnic)
I'm not really looking forward to it though :/
It just seems lately as though (yes this may sound completely childish) Im a burden on them. Like my friend asked me to take some food or money but I said that I couldn't because we have like nothing in the house and I'm skint as it is, but fair enough she said that was fine and I could have some food anywys but I said no because I wouldn't do that if I couldn't take anything to contribute but she wasn't taking no for an answer.
However, I then had a text off ym other friend (the one who lies to take control of almost everything) and she said that basically, if you take no money or food you're not eating or anything which is fair...

Oh I don't know I'm just so teary and emotional today that it's stupid. Hoepfully I'll be ok when I go there with everyone though... but I can jsut tell that my one friend is going to wind me up by being so controlling and obsessive.

Another hour of revision then I'll have a shower and go to bed :D

I've had duck for tea :D I really like duck. Maybe that's what has set my migraine off, its the only thing that I've had in the last eight hours that I don't normally eat (it's too expensive to be a regular occurance, half a duck cost £8 ).

I only had english and biology so was there 2-5 English is great at the moment, and we are doing accent and dialect which Im enjoying cos like Im the only one in the class thats really different, since Im from Sunderland, so when everyone is giving opinions on which accents they dont like or like, Im listening closely :p
Then in biology, I wanted to laugh out loud so much. We started new topics and one of the subjects for today was adreneline and what would cash a rush of this hormone. SO I first think of Exercise and shock, but no what was out teachers example : Jumping out if an aircraft  And he write it on the baord and is now one of my class notes. Exams over! :):):)

Quite annoyed in Physics though as I accidentally left my calculator in my bag before I went in so they gave me a really old one. I did a calculation and the answer came out in standard form and so this invigilator started trying to look for a calculator for me without even stopping timing so I lost some time there. And she made me stop working so she could move my desk back and had a go at me for apparently scribbling something out too loud! I had to rush the paper in the end to ensure I finished and realised I'd misread a graph when I had to stop. If she hadn't of been messing around I would have been able to correct that

History this morning was ok, but they don't give you enough time for the amount you have to do. I really had to rush the last question.

Just worrying until results day now for me; I really don't want to know. Will be gutted if I don't have an A* in business especially as I got that in my mock.
I had them both yesterday and they were my first ones. I have another Media on Friday and another Business on Monday. What does the controlled test mean?..:searchme:

Science.. I think I did badly and one point did think about getting a D but hopefully my coursework (which isn't that exceptional either) pushes it up.
Business is my final exam then I am off on my holiday, where I won't worry about anything... until I come back that is!

You get the exam paper before the exam and have to prepare and memorise your answers, which makes it easy. Unless of course you royally screw up one of the questions, because teachers aren't allowed to help you at all obviously because it's the actual exam questions.

My coursework is an A* but I don't think that will get me very far considering how the three unit tests for it have gone. The coursework is only 25% for mine.

Physics unit four was ridiculously hard. That's a definite fail. Unit five didn't go too bad. I spent a few minutes trying to figure out if I had all the questions, there was only five sides of paper. That went better although I swear they asked a question on something that isn't in the syllabus.

Business unit 5 was good, I couldn't stop writing. Unit four went the same was as physics unit four. I got all confused with one question and started answering using a different diagram that I should have done. It all went downhill from there.

I really hope that I've done well enough on unit five to make up for unit four in business. I stand no chance of passing physics so I'm not going to worry too much about that.

Two biology on Friday then thats it until Tuesday.

yesterday went into town to get a cheap shirt cos it was school disco night and id left my shirt at home. went into bhs and wanted to get a kids shirt cos i got one from there last time, anyway they were all huge! im not joking when i say the age 16 could easily have fitted three of me in it! tried on an age 10 - 11 and that was too big! it said generous fit on it but still, these are meant to fit little kids! bought it anyway cos it was the smallest size they had and it was only £3! then went to asda to take back some tops id bought for our show last month but not actually used, id only paid £5 for them but the lady gave me back £6! and while i was there i saw some shirts and they were only £2.50 and they fitted better than the kids one so i bought one and am going to take the other one back! my sis also had me wandering around town trying to find the shoes she wanted, i eventually found them but they didnt have any in her size

last night went out at about 9ish and normally i hate going that early cos its dead til about 11, but luckily we did as it was so crowded, we had to queue outside and i havent done that in ages! was good though although we left early again cos my housemate was too drunk to stay (again!). when we got out of the taxi she decided to lie down in the middle of the road!

today im not really doing anything apart from tidying my room and then im going to a friends houseparty cos its her bday but i probably wont stay long cos im so tired!

Went to school today. What a waste of time! I had 3 lessons... only 1 was productive...well it wasn't even that productive.
We started Year 13 work in RE and it was about Prejudice Discrimination and how it causes conflict...
Well who said BB wasn't educating! Everything asked about prejudice and discrimination my example was BB and how if anyone had said anything to Alexandra they would have been chucked out for racism and bullying!
So yeah... good lesson actually

Scamp is fine :D
Went to the vets and the vet said he has epilepsy and has to stay on medication for good.... and the reason he is peeing in the house, losing focus and his back legs are going is because of the valium.
The vet said he'd actually come along better than expected.
I'm really happy :) Thanks everyone for your support!

Maths exam today. Thing is,this one isn't a mock. We have already done one earlier in the year which counts as 18% of our final GCSE mark, as did this one. I seriously hate maths. We (our class) hasn't had a proper teacher since year seven. They are either ill - for 8 fricken months! - Die (one actually did..)
or just can't be bothered to turn up! It's a complete joke. And we're in top set for Christ's sake, you'd have thought they'd try more!

Sorry, it just makes me sooo mad. Then we get told we aren't doing well enough... Well ya think?!?

I hate Edexcel. I was thinking to myself after I'd finished my exam this afternoon that Edxecel have to be one of the worst exam boards.

If it wasn't on the syllabus and every school/college doing the Edexcel exam complained then I guess the examiners will have to disregard part A and just mark the rest of the paper. The grade boundaries would be altered so your grades shouldn't suffer because of the exam board's incompetence.

Sorry to double post - just seen this one!

We've just switched from AQA to Edexcel for History. I found the questions to be exactly the same tbh. The only difference is now we have to do coursework which is kinda blaggy!

That's slightly out of order! Does your school/college have to choose one/two topics from the paper or is it just one topic per paper?
We are currently doing USA The new deal and the depression and Nazi Germany.

StarsOfCCTV
14-06-2008, 00:51
In the paper I did there are 8 questions (You have to answer just 2), on two different topics Germany and Russia. We did a sources paper on Germany so had to answer Russia questions. I chose the second Russia question. There's a part A and B and because I knew B I'd revised it the night before I thought I'd go for that one even though I had no idea what A was about! I just thought it was because I hadn't revised it enough I didn't know we'd never covered it.

I do European history so last year we did Germany - seeds of evil (hitlers rise to power. and something before that...:p) and also Russia - bolshevik WW1 around that time. Now we are doing Russia 1860ish to 1960ish..and Germany after Hitler took power and the coursework is British appeasement (what Britain did to other nations between wars).

The party was good. I'm a little drunk. I hope I don't get a hangover. :p I hope that answer isn't too confusing Kirsty, I rambled a bit. :p x

I did edexcel History and Maths for GCSE. I thought the final exam papers were quite nice, but one of the pieces of History coursework my class found a bit evil on the whole. It must be more evil for A Level I'm thinking since Stars and Abigail do A Level subjects with them, and also because my school do edexcel GCSE History and AQA A Level History. Just checked the subjects I'm doing for A Level in the prospectus and none of them are edexcel - hardly any of the subjects are; only Maths, Further Maths and ICT.

My Aunt and Uncle are coming down later :) Also got to try and get hold of Dad's cousin again; I rang her mobile and house phone on Wednesday and got the answerphone both times and again yesterday.

Our school don't do many Edexcel courses. The only reason why biology is with Edexcel is because we're a joint sixth form with another school four miles away. Our school did AQA and the other one did Edexcel until they merged and we got lumbered with Edexcel.

Just been tidying all my revision and A level work up. Thrown lots of past papers and revision posters in the recycle bin and put my notes and textbooks in the cupboard. I've just got two synoptic papers, a business and a general studies left so I don't really need anything except the notes that are on my desk.

I think I'm going to have a shift around in my room and make a bit more room.

i hate to say this stars but unfortunately they will still mark the paper the same. this happened to us with our politics alevel (which was edexcel as well!), basically we did 6 mini topics for one of the units and then 4 topics are meant to come up on the exam paper and you have to chose 2, well 3 of them were the same topic just different questions on it. it was ok for me cos that was the only topic i knew so i did really well! my teacher complained to the exam board but she said that it wont make a difference to the marks we get, the only thing it will do is make them check this better for next year. sorry to have to say this but the only thing you can hope for is that everyone didnt know what to write and so everyone gets rubbish marks so the boundaries will go down. however if it was a case of you chose the questions (which it sounded like from your post though i could be wrong) then the people who did another question could have done really well and so your answer for the first part will be counted even though it wasnt in the syllabus. its stupid but unfortunately theres nothing the schools can do about it except inform them of the mistake, sorry :(

Good thing he did  But in another way it's bad.. because that means he defo. expects something..
Another bad thing? He dosen't appreciate it.. He wants something pricey but I can't do pricey so it upsets me, he dosen't even pretend to like it, ahh well no point trying to please some people I guess.
However I bought him a card and a photo holder which says to daddy from your lovely daughter or something along them lines. I will take a photo tomorrow or something and print it off and and put it later in the week.. A bit over £5 gone down the drain.
If he did appreciate the small things I get him I would get him much more but yeah.. ahh well!

Oh my god, you just gave me a heart attack. I've completely forgotten about father's day. I'm working tomorrow so I don't have time to get my dad anything.

At the risk of sounding ignorant, I think father's and mother's days are a money making concept. Why should one day be designated to giving gifts to your parents when you can do that any day of the year? It absolves people of taking parents for granted by buying gifts on one day of the year.

Ok day i supose apart picked out a carpet and paint for my room.Although it was the induction days and the primary 7 where at school and there seems so many of them coludn't even get into the lunch hall.I heard one boy tell his friend as i was trying to get in he had shoved 8 people to try and get inand he seemed very proud of it!This shocked me because i can sort remember my induction days and none of us would have dares shoved one of the older as we were intimated and slightly scared of them but now alot of them don't seem bothered. Also in chemistry instead of starting the course like in all other classes we were cleaning out a back room that hasn't been used in years. There wasn't even a classroom for us to go so when we do start properly and our other teacher comes back from maternity leave i don't know where we will be going.

Pretty weird day actually... the events of Saturday night's party still ahven't calmed down... in fact some events have jsut escalated since!!

And I am not being allowed to live down the state I was in... it's quite funny. Well it's not but yeah.
I wasn't puking drunk
I was jsut drunk to the point where I was there at the party... knew stuff that was going on around me but didn't actually get involved and wasn't actually able to help or literally do anything ahaha
So I went and made a new friend instead.. which also has not been let go by my friends. I can see this party being talked about for a while haha

Other than that I came home.. put another top on ebay and then babysat my sister and then played on the Wii with my brother :D

Three exams today. General studies and business went great, especially as I didn't revise much for the business unit. Hopefully that will make up for my appalling performance in the second business exam.

Physics was predicatable, couldn't answer most of the questions. Made up some of my own formulae because I couldn't remember the ones I needed. I got the speed of a car as 141521 ms  The last question was a bit strange: calculate the density of nuclear matter  The mass and volume wasn't given so I have no idea how we were supposed to work that one out.

Last exam tomorrow :cheer: No revision as it's a synoptic, just a couple of mind maps to read through for the essay question.

Another good thing happened that a colleague saw somebody from a hire car company hitting my private car and he would have driven off without mentioning it. Luckily the colleague spotted it and the boss of the hire car company will repair the quite big scratch this afternoon. If it does not work, they will pay for the damage to be resprayed.

Woow i ain't been on in a while cause of my laptop mucking up and having to have a new harddrive and powerpack and i won't go on my brothers cause of the whole the space bar won't work thing so i don't type anything when i'm on his:lol:

But yeah past few weeks havn't been to bad minus last thursday where this boy said a really out of place thing about me i'm not going to say what he said but he tried to say i was a sl*t and i was having none of it so was planning to kill him but louise calmed me down luckily. Went to see the deputy head about it cause he was completley denying it today and trying to say that i called myself one when i clearly never and we're not allowed each other now which is for the best cause i would have killed him.

I'm so annoyed! at myself cause i never went into school on tuesday cause i was feeling crap cause of this cold and the nurse said before i went on study leave tht if my counselling wasn't any further along she would try and get it along a bit cause she knows i really need it and i didn't get to see her and i won't get to see her this monday cause we're not in cause of the s5&s6 week of work thing and the last monday's the last monday of the term before the summer term and i'm not to sure if she'll be in :(

think that's it to be honest lol oh wait i went to alton towers with the school was amazing went on all the fast rides and all 3 water rides! might be going in the summer iswell:angel: :D

Went out to start looking for my prom dress today. My mum came with me, armed with Dad's credit card. I couldn't find a dress I liked. I found one in a colour I like but it wasn't long enough, and others had horrible designs on. Then we went to a bridal shop as the bridesmaid's dresses in there were recommended to me by my friend's sister. They don't sell the ones in the store even if they are a perfect fit, and it takes 14-16 weeks to have one ordered in. So that was an end to that.

Managed to come home with 2 new tops, 2 DVD's, a handbag, and my mum got me a rubix cube because I really wanted one when I was younger and had never even had a go with one. Oh and I got some more new pens and a thank you card to give my dad's cousin for inviting me to stay with her next month. I was going to get her a nice picture frame too but I didn't have time.

Im so ill
Well I was worse yesterday. We went and done our car boot sale, and it got cold and very windy so I stayed in the back of the car trying to keep warm, whilst shivering lots. When I got home I went to bed, I felt really tired. That was at 1pm and the thing is, my tonsils are swolen and very sore, it hurts to swallow, Im aching everywhere, so getting comfortable and to sleep was a big problem and just general butning up, headaches to add to that. It took me ages to get to sleep after waking up, but this morning I got up cos my aching back was just to much and I didnt want to stay in a bed I cant get comfortable in.
I have taken this hot lemon drink which should help my sore throat and aches but I think it wearing off. So excuse my lanaguge but I really do feel like ****. :(
Me and my parents are hoping its not tonsilitis :( I go away on sunday

I have kept harping on about this at the end of last year but I really find hot apple vinegar really helps with flu symptons (a couple of table spoons in a mug of hot water, sweeten with honey if you like). Not the nicest taste to start with but very effective, lots of my friends have agreed with me once they tried it. Hope you feel better soon x

How difficult is it to move around for you? I had tonsilitus about 5 years ago now and when I had it I couldn't even sit up after a while.

That sounds a bit like what I had when I first had tonsilitus (I didn't see a doctor for several days.) Anyway the next day I went on a long car journey which was a big mistake because I threw up, so try to avoid doing too much so that you can hopefully recover in time to go to Germany. And drink plenty of water.

Got home form school and I am actually quite annoyed.
The cinema have started ringing people about interviews and my friend has got one when he already has a job :( I know it's silly but I never get any luck with jobs and I actually would like one, and I know I would be good at it! My friend is seriously lazy and he isn't bothered by his attitude towards people. It frustrates me so much! :(
And my neck is absolutely killing me. I don't know what I've done to it :/

Abbie
23-06-2008, 21:20
Spoke to the doctor on the phone, said it sounds more like laryngitis, rather than tonsilitus, even though my tonsils are killing me.
Earlier when my mum got in, she thought it could be tonsilitus, cos it looked like I had white spots on my tonsils, which the doctor said if I get them then it is. :(
He said to take dissolvable asprin in a hot drink and garggle it, which I done a while a go but its so hard cos my tonsils hurt so much :(
I just hope it goes by the weekend

Good day. Played cards at lunch, that was really funny. Science was ok. Until people came into the room me and my lab partner were on the computer in. Then he got distracted and I gave up and went home :p

I got an email from the national blood service. 15th July they get to steal my blood :p

Tomorrow I have a philosophy conference :crying: :crying: :(

Finished one assignment today :D Feel a little better. Got 3 more to finish, which I will stay up late for - stayed up til 4 this morning :).

Just had a driving lesson, which I thought went rubbish, but my instructor seems to think it went really well haha. She said that once I've done my theory (gonna try book it for next week), I should be able to pass by end of August :D. Fingies crossed.

Gosh what a pointless day :p I am kicking myself for forgetting the slip for this Biology field trip because now I have to go into college tomorrow, go to the finance office..pay, then go hand in my coursework. All of this I could've done today...lol

I could've gone home at 10.15 as well...but I had a lesson at 11.30, and when I got there...no-one in sight  Thanks for telling us

I've just been checking out free things to do in London. I found out you can go and watch trials in the public gallery of the Old Bailey! :ninja: :p I've also sent off for a few Summer Uni courses - First aid, intro to medical science and Video editing. :D I'm determined not to get too bored this summer

havent written in here for a week!

last thursday me and my sis went to paris for the day cos we got a 2 for 1 deal at bluewater for the eurostar. had to be at the station by 5am! it was really fun, we went to the eiffel tower and to the louvre (sp?) and to that famous arch, then just wondered around. we didnt get lost which was quite good for us lol but we almost missed our train back even though we got to the station 1hr early! (long story but basically paris station was very confusing and useless!) but all in all a good day :D

last friday i went back to my uni house and my sis came down to stay. we went to the beach for 3 days where i won some toys and we played air hockey and on the dance mats, it was really nice weather. also went shopping and had chinese. we went out on monday night and got there quite early which was lucky cos it was free entry before 10.30pm! these guys started talking to us and they seemed like nice people but the one who was talking to me wouldnt leave me alone! we tried to lose him but he found us again! then he waited outside the toilets for us! which was a bit creepy! he wouldnt take no for an answer so in the end i told him id be there next week if he was - ive gone home now so theres no chance off me going next week lol! although id love to go just to see if he actually turns up haha!

also had to clean my kitchen at uni cos id only been gone a week and i came back and the sink had curry all over it! i wasnt pleased!

sorry for the essay!

Yesterday I went to try and find a prom dress, but the only dress I found that I actually liked was a bit too casual so I couldn't get that. No idea how I'm actually going to find a dress that I like before a week on Wednesday lol! Saw a boy from my old Geography class at the bus station and my mum was there as she came attatched to the credit card lol anyway she now thinks I fancy this boy.

Eek Abbie mine took much longer than that.

Today.. filling out a load of boring forms. My mum doesn't understand forms so she just piles them off on me. I don't see the point of the child benefit ones; they can't pay anything because I'll be doing a course that leads to a degree and yet they still expect you to fill in the form. They should just assume that if you don't reply, you're no longer eligible. The other one was for a bus pass which they probably won't give me anyway so I could end up having to spend £2,000 on transport just to complete my A Levels. With university as well, education could land me in a serious lot of debt.

Internet was going on and off of it's own accord last night, which really annoyed me. My friend used up her last 10p credit to text me and tell me to go online. We were chatting for an hour or something and then she had a powercut, but came back when the power did and then my internet started going. She has a TD Day today so she was going out last night and asked if I wanted to go. I checked the bus times only to find that I could get there but not get back :( It's ridiculous, it's already over £4 for a return to a bus stop which she'll have to walk quite a way to meet me at. That's a child's fare which I shouldn't really be getting away with. I think it's just stupid there's a bus there but not one back later; what do they think people are going to do, sleep in the bus shelter?

Kim I dont know if busses are different to where you live as your busses sound different lol and not as frequent and stuff, but for us when we go to college we get another oyester card for students and dont have to pay, and it doesnt go on how much your parents earn everyone is entitled to it, but like i say it might be different where you live

it depends how popular the route is i think. from the bus station to my uni house i can get 3 different buses, 1 of the routes stops at 7pm, while the other 2 run til 11pm, 1 goes every hour and the other goes every half hour. in my area no buses run after about 11.30pm which is annoying, but if not enough people want to use them then theyre not going to run them

There's hardly any busses round here, busses there sound great. They run every hour into town and that's as good as it gets. It can be up to two hours between busses for other places. Living in a residential estate is not a good idea. It's not the best of firms either but it's the only one that does that route. The last bus back from where I wanted to go last night was at like half 7.

the only reason theres so many buses to my house is cos 3 different routes go past it cos its just off the main road out of town and one of the routes is a really main route

Congrats Davey's cousin! :D

Well, so far NOT so good.:crying:

something thieving so and so has taken over £400 worth of diesel from my Dad's wagon! The cab is parked on the backstreet as the company is based in the Isle of Man so obv. he can't get there and back everyday. But never had any trouble with it before until last night.
They've also been into the garage and taken a huge tub of alloy cleaner, a strimmer worth over £150, and the cheeky *people* have even used our tubs to carry the diesel! Oh and a stereo system that didn't work but it's not the point. Also my Mum has a huge stanley tool box in the garage absolutely jam packed full of craft stuff which they have unlocked and lobbed the lid across the garage. Obviously thought there was something in there worth taking! I can only picture their face/s when they saw the glitter rather that tools!

The tubs they took to carry the diesel were all filled with old engine oil as my Dad services friend's cars and they emptied it all over the backstreet which is now running down the main road.

Just waiting for forensics to come now.

Sorry if it's such a long one but I get more annoyyed than anything - who do they think they are to take other people's possesions?

Ahh dear. Went to a house party last night and I was soo drunk.
I kept falling asleep on his wood floors!
Was a good night though :)

Today I had no hangover :) well I just felt a bit sicky but nothing a cup of tea couldn't cure :)
I want to go to town now for a Subway ahah and then go to the fete but I don't knwo where my friends areee :(:(

Todays been ok so far apart from when my Nan and Granch went out and I was ironing my top and Scamp had another fit! I've never see him have a fit before, it was horrible! I was on my own so I had to try and keep calm and talk to him and all that. I've never cried so much in the space of 10 minutes!
Luckily my Nan and Granch were at my Mums so they came straight back. It was so scary.

Parents have gone out to my dad's mate's 40th birthday meal, so I got the downstairs TV for the evening. Watched Doctor Who confidential straight after the episode to avoid having to watch on iplayer this week. Dad got me a takeaway before they went so they didn't have to cook and could get ready to go out, so I asked for the pizza I had on my birthday. absolutly knackered, sailed with our junior team yesterday in the 12 hour race. We were 16th out of 28 which was good considering we had 5 people on our team for the last 7 hours and you need two people in the boat per stint. I am now aching all over, caovered in bruises, sunburnt / windburn, stinging eyes from the salt water, and can hardly move. It was worth it though even though i did work so hard.

Oh and i have a massive bump on my head from where the boom smacked me on the head when we turned round a mark. We had to go in after that lap cause the person i was sailing with made us. So our signal was wave to the team captains (i.e the parents and other sailors) to give assistance, instead they waved back!
