Went to the Skegness Embassy Theatre on thursday nite with my partner daughter and my partners mum and dad to watch the Best British variety tour we saw The Krankies, Brotherhood of men, paul Daniels and cannon and ball they were all very good.......
Found ou my cousin is pregnant due in january...
Friday my sister and her 2 kids came round she told me she is 3 months pregnant due February the 9th..
My step sister is pregnant due the end of february...
Saturday did not do a lot just went to my mums. she is moving in september
so today been down to the new house helping get it painted..
Feeling a lot better recently, only had one other dizzy spell the other week but I blame the heat
Its been great so far, but when on earth did Sea world get so cheesy!! "Shamu, Shamu" * Does the actions we were taught in the show believe*
Just thunderstorms on and off today, SO I dont know where we are gonna go later.
Seaworld is brilliant, the Shamu show was the highlight of my holiday. We saw the 8.15pm show as the sun was setting. We had dinner in the Shamu Rocks cafe thing, we did that VIP meal thing. Then we sat on the bank of the lake and watch the fireworks. You're making me jealous now :ninja:
Thunderstorms  We had them every afternoon, it was wonderful sitting in the jacuzzi with the rain coming down and thunder and lightening going on.
Anyway, back to rainy England... Not feeling too great at the moment. Stayed up until 2am last night reading a book. Got a headache and generally feel rubbish. Mum noticed my neck is swollen and she thinks I have a goiter like my sister. Great, another thing to add to my list of ailments  It's nowhere near as bad as google images thinks it is though.

10 days to go.. I am still avoiding thinking about it.. I think I am going to go nuts when it hits about 3 days to go :(
don;'t worry about it it'll be fine, at the end of the day they are only exams and now seem very important but in the grand scale of life they arent major and can be re done, but i'm sure you'll all have done better than you think. You never know. I uinderstand how annoying waiting gets though.
I know what you mean Kirsty i am on my own with my little sister, its weird. Its not because i'm scared as i lived away from home all year last year i just think as i am so used to there being so much more noise in the house.
Just been working today i never thought i would have this much fun in an office job, i seriously think i am going to be gutted to leave. People don;t believe me but its true. I feel so welcome there and like i am doing a good job,
My dads back on thursday and we are going to the Manchester City game, i am dead excited.
Been invited to a pub crawl on Thursday night to celebrate somebody's birthday (no idea who he is) and to celebrate exams results or drown our sorrows. Should be a good laugh. Also going to a wedding on Friday and a friend's birthday party on Saturday. I don't think I've got enough outfits to wear :rotfl:
Stalker boy invited me to Thursday's party and he said he's going to see me twice this week :ninja: and he's really looking forward to it.
Been to my sister's today to do some ironing and stuff. My mum said I have to go to my other sister's tomorrow to clean her house. As per usual my sister expects me to do it and I'm getting fed up of being expected to do things for her. There's doing things for family then there's constantly taking people for granted. Her usual bait/argument is that I'm getting paid for it (she's disabled so social services pay for a carer and cleaner). It's seriously starting to wear thin now  I already arranged with her to go at the end of the month for a week. Like usual she expected me to cancel my plans with my other sister (arranged several weeks ago) to stay longer at her's. So I put my foot down and said five days, take it or leave it. I'm fed up of her constantly asking me to fit my life around hers. And don't get me started on the emotional blackmail...
/rant :)
:crying: :crying: My Great Aunt's broken her hip. Found out from Dad's cousin because my Aunt and Dad don't speak any more. She went into hospital and my Dad's cousin later told me they were operating. I don't see her surviving it to be honest, she's nearly 98; I didn't think they gave anaesthetics to people of that age...
Same Spicy, I'm not sleeping well and I haven't been for about a week now. There's some grades I'm desperate for and regardless of what I've got in everything else, I'll just be very disappointed if I don't get them.

Im really missing my TV shows though, its crazy and not healthy, I mean the other night i had the weridest dream involving all the characters for the shows I watch and Connie from Holby City was there :hmm:
It was werid!!
lol! im glad youre feeling better. im sure missing a few tv shows is only a small price to pay for being in florida instead lol!
Lol I know, Plus I kinda love it when you get back and you get to catch up, the only problem is I can only catch up on so far back, like some of good EE stuff I wont be able to watch :(
Im used to it by now though, I always miss the summer stuff
Tomorrow my parents are going to Sarasota cos my dad need to do something there for his MA project, so me and my brother are going to Universal studios for the day :D

dont worry about it kim, as long as you did your best thats all that matters. i was disappointed with some of my alevel results, but they were still good results so although i knew i could have done better i still did better than a lot of other people. at the end of the day though, as long as you get the grades you need to do the alevel subjects you want to do, then its not the end of the world, as long as you do well in your alevels people wont really care what gcses you got. but if you are disappointed you can always retake them. but im sure youve done great, good luck :)

Day 5 of being on my own. I still can't stand it. All I seem to have done this week is cry.
I had a few of the girls to stay last night and it was good.. apart from the dog constantly barked and cried and peed and he also had 2 fits so I only got 3 hours sleep.
He's having more fits again :( and I don't know how to cope... like he had 2 last night- 1 at about 2:30 am and another at 6:15 am... I'm not here tonight because I won't stay on my own so I'm all worried about him now.. he's had a nother fit again today whilst I've been out aswell. I just want my Nan to come back now, I really can't cope. I even hate having a bath when I'm on my own because when I dry my hair it's all noisy so I can't hear f anyones in the house or not (I go on really bad paranoias)
I can't even use the washing machine properly! I don't have a clue what I'm doing and I've already ruined a pair of pyjamas :(
Hurry up Saturday!
Aww Kirsty. I'm terrible with thinking someone else is in the house. Once one of my dogs knocked an ash tray off of the coffee table and it sounded like someone had just thrown a holdall or something down on the worktop. I woke my parents up and told them and they went down and my mum went with a broom handle or something :ninja: I think my dog ruined one of my nighties today, he was climbing all over me with muddy feet. The other chewed up a Chanel top once so I guess that was worse. I don't think it's all going to come out though.
Got a postcard off of my friend today, she's in France. I had no idea she even had my address; she must have worked it out and memorised it when she came down for my birthday. So many people are going away next week :( Dad's cousin's off to Spain on Wednesday and is expecting a text with my results on it, and my best friend goes to Spain on Friday. I kind of want the summer to end now, I swear they're not healthy if your friends don't live near you. We have a longer one than the other years have had too as exams started earlier than normal and so they ended sooner.

It's my bday today. More grey hairs and wrinkles  So far I've got slippers, sandles, perfume, earings, a new top and trousers. Thank you to my SB buddies for their birthday wishes. Still no sign of Kiefer in the post but I expect Royal Mail are busy with the exam results.
Lol Kath! I'm thinking wishful thinking there....
Happy Birthday! Sounds like a nice lot of presents there.
Happy Birthday Kath!:Dx The Presents Sounds Gorgeous.
I'm getting my hair cut in a few weeks so sitting here trying to decide what i want done to it althrough i'm only getting a few inches taken off it as i miss the length it used to be  but i don't know about my fringe or layers.
Today i went into town again and bought a vest and pant set and a vest top from primark; heading back in tomorrow as they've built an extension on to the kingsgate and it's opening then i'm heading into edinburgh on saturday seeing as i didn't get to go on monday

Royal Mail are really slow in delivering human presents  I still haven't received Hugh yet :hmm:
Going out tonight, can't really be bothered though. It's been raining all day :thumbsdow and I feel quite down. I really shouldn't be after the good news :searchme:

yesterday i went and got a new lamp cos mine broke, managed to get the same one though

Happy birthday Chloe O'brien hope you have had a good day...
Just been in to town today with my nana and been to her house....
Had a really good night, just come in. The pub crawl spanned to two pubs, tesco and the park  Haven't drunk much, we're all pretty much sober for some reason. The birthday boy, Charnock, was pretty cute. I was secretly admiring him. Got a slight boy problem with some other guy, it will work itself out though I think *sighs*
Going to bed now, got another party tomorrow night.
I forgot to add, one of my friends crashed his car tonight. He was out with us and had been drinking so was over the limit. He wasn't going to drive, someone else was taking his car. I don't know why he decided to drive but he crashed and written the car off. He's ok but two passengers were hurt and have gone to hospital. I'm quite mad that the people who hadn't been drinking had allowed him to drive, even when one of the sober ones was insured to drive his car.

Happy Birthday for yesterday Kath hope you had a lovely day :D
I've not long got in, went to my friends results party yesterday and stayed there the night to save waking my Mum and the baby up at early hours.
Was a really good night (apart from the part where I felt soo sick but I refused to throw up)
Me and a few girls went up early about half 6-7 and we were drinking Blue Lagoon my friend had made, I had 3 pints of it in the space of like half an hour and by the time people were arriving I was already drunk haha
The amount of silly stuff I did was just omggg embarrassment! Haha oh well, I had a good night and was near enough sober by the end of the night. Although this boy kept like putting his arm around me and like... sweet talking me but all I wanted to do was go to sleep. I'm not even joking... he went on and on about nothing for like 3 hours! I don't even like him but my friends had plans of "setting" us up anyways. Pahaha. Aww well
My Nans coming back todayyy. She's worried about the dog so she jsut wants to be home and because I cried on the phone to her the other day :/

We had our annual staff conference this year. Every year the College staff go away for a away day where we sit and listen to motivator speakers about how to improve our life and work. It has to be done but we get a half-day and a free lunch so can't complain.

A bad end to the day. My two friends (Tai and Natalie) they are peed off with me. Apparently me and others are leaving them out, but we always invite them out with us but they always separate themselves from the group and Tai is possessive of Nat so I can never speak to her anymore. Tonight when I went to ring her, he even answered her phone! ... the thing is, Nat has been saying to me she feels Tai is crowding her but tonight, she was supporting everything he was saying. So i'm not feeling too good at the moment at all. :( I don't know what me and everyone else has done wrong.
Chloe O'brien
16-08-2008, 00:22
Don't do anything Davey let them apologise to you and your other mates. This Nat has got a chip on his shoulder and a real attidue problem and if Tia can't see it. Then give her time she will. Don't get into arguements on about who says what as you will just get the blame.
Kirsty :]
16-08-2008, 22:23
Oh no feel better soon Davey. As Kath said don't apologise... but jsut let Nat know you are there for her even with the way she's being... that Tai sounds like a bad influence, I hope things get sorted soon for you :)
Rubbish day!
Well not rubbish rubbish... the weather was pants and all I did was go to town with my friend which was nice because these days shes always working or with her boyfriend so it was nice to have a catch up! :)
But other than that I've been lost in my thoughts all day.
See last night this boy was speaking to me (we got a bit close at the Sixth Form Party and I only went and rung him whilst at the results party thursday ngiht) so we were just on about that and joking and he started telling me that he kissed me because he did like me and to even ask my friend because she told him the day after to tell me about kissing him but I didn't remember (even though I did but I wasn't telling him that)... but thing is, I've heard off numerous people how much of a player he is and even I'm pretty sure it's true. He was seen liek a week ago kissing this girl form my year on some bridge so yeah, I jsut take everything he says light heartedly. ANyways I jsut told him to go and sober up because he was drunk but he said he wasn't lying, but was jsut like "fine we'll talk when Im sober and go out on a date" so all day I've jsut been all confused and happy but not at the same time. Argh I'm jsut confused ahaha
Glad that's off my chest! Sorry everyone!
Had a really good night last night at the wedding. Started off slow, drinks were really expensive (£4.40 for a vodka and orange ) and it was mafting. Once I was a bit tipsy and started dancing the party really started. We got some champagne to celebrate exam results then me and my sister's boyfriend were dancing away. Anybody who doesn't know us probably thought that we were having an affair the way we act around each other. There's nothing going on, its just how we are.
I came online at about 2am this morning and tried to post but couldn't quite get myself together to type coherently.
Went to work this morning then been in bed since 3pm. I was supposed to be going to a party at 6pm but I woke up at 7pm and couldn't move my legs so I didn't go. I've just been laid in bed catching up on this week's tv.

Been shopping today for things to uni like plates, cups, bowls, general kitchen stuff. I think excited is an understatement :D
Well today i ain't been up to much, had to have my school trousers turned up cause they were to big for me. My room is a tip as as i've been trying to find my myfife card cause it's my bus pass to and i don't know where it is, so i'm slightly doomed. I'm going to kill my brother cause he's doing my head in but yeah ain't been up to much today.

Bit annoyed.. Woke up today and went to The Mall and mum got her hair done and we had to take my brother and sister with us.. They were running around like maniacs so as soon as Mum had her hair done she got annoyed (and I was extreamly annoyed) and we both decided to go home because we couldn't do shopping like this so yeah waste of time.
I just don't get why they can't lay off eachother and just listen! I don't know jeez.
Tomorrow I am going to get my photo taken and then really looking forward to Wednesday as I am going to see 'Into The Hoods' with my cousin and 2 family friends who I haven't seen in a long time.. Going out to London for lunch beforehand and dinner after! Will be busy pretty much all day so will hopefully keep my mind off for Thursday!

Awww Abigail don't go to Uni and leave usss! :( Boohoo.
Aw seriously, I don't wanna bore you all with my life story, but I need to get it off my mind!
You'll get bored but here goes.
Basically, it's the same boy from the Sixth Form Party (I've posted about him a few posts up) and all the stuff he's said to me over the past few days, saying how he likes me and wants to take me out and that.
Well it was all basically lies, and I have this bad feeling he's been feeding the same stuff to another girl in my year who I really dislike. Like a week or 2 ago I heard that they met on this bridge and were seen like... kissing and that and then I was bebo hopping (yes I'm cool :ninja: ) and she has quite a few pics of herself on there... but 2 are like..Omg!
There's one where her boobs are literally like hanging out and then the other she has like bikini bottoms on and she's showing her legs and stuff... and he commented on both like on the legs one he said "whats this all about lol" and she replied "don't like it? Not what you said on msn last night ;) and the boobs one was "what a nice view lol" which is typical boy stuff yeah but I jsut feel so stupid... but they're welcome to each other, I'm not taking his rubbish anymore and I won't be stooping to her level and taking pictures liek that for cheap compliments because I'm worth more than that.. any girl is!
Sorry about the very very very long essay and if you didn't fall asleep in the middle of it then well done
EDIT: Btw Davey glad you sorted stuff out wiht your friends :D
Good on you Kirsty, he just sounds like he's out for whatever he can get and not caring about anyone.
Not done much today; town to do the shopping as usual as completely bored, then came back, watched DVD's and went back to bed. Didn't even get an hour's sleep. Ordered a DVD player combined with video, hard disc and freeview over the internet as I couldn't find it in any shop I went in. Delivery is estimated for Thursday so mum can't take me into town now. Dad's working so 4 buses it is, joy. I'm going to get home at some ridiculous time and I don't want to open my results until I get home.. some subjects I'm just sick of wondering what I got now.
Spoke to my dad's cousin as she's off to Spain tomorrow and that's about it. No plans for the rest of the week so it looks like more results wondering for me. Mum was meant to ring my great aunt and uncle so we can go and visit them as they want us both to go, but she hasn't so we can't go there either.

Boys are more trouble than they're worth sometimes. Sounds like he's a player, good on you for getting rid.
Been sorting through some things for moving. I'm all set to go, just need to pack my things up, shouldn't take too long. I've started some packing already (yes, I know I have another three weeks left :p). Got a letter from the university today saying I need MMR and mengingitis booster vaccinations so I'm going for them on Thursday.
I was on Friends Reunited earlier on and saw someone who I went to school with, or at least I thought I did. He sent me a message back saying something about an RE lesson but I wasn't in his year :hmm: This is gonna be wierd if I've emailed someone I don't actually know :rotfl:
Back at school today and it wasn't to bad was great seeing all my friends again. I've been moved down to Int 2 again in History and Int 1 again in English. Met the new Head of English and she isn't to bad strict but not to bad. Maths was a bit confusing was in the library double last on the computer playing computer games and it didn't help my head at all.
There's a strike on tomorrow which i'm shocked at Mr Mooney closing the school cause it's not really something he would do but yeah cause it's Janitorial services, Dinner ladies, Admin Staff and Othere staff the school isn't opened to students.

came back from austria last night :D i had such a good time, the place we went was really pretty (although me and my sis thought the mountains looked like a backdrop lol!). we were only there for 3 days so it would have been good to stay longer. the weather was really good, it was so hot :) i really wanted this huge crystal panda (cos i love pandas!) but i couldnt afford it cos it was being auctioned off and they started the auction at 7000 euros! some guy in the end bought it for 15000 euros! the only bad bit about it was coming home yesterday as our plane was delayed cos the engine wasnt working, which they only realised as we were about to take off! but it was a good holiday

did you not have a booster done when you were at school (i think i had mine in year 10) cos if you did you can just show them the documents you get when you have them done
Do you have to have injections to go to uni? I didn't have the one done in Year 10 because I'm petrified of needles. When I had a jab for something in primary school (Year 6) they had to get my mum there before they could do it. I fell off the chair when I got a glimpse at the needle the first time.
Went into town today for some blank CD's to burn prom photos and last day photos on for my friends. Ended up buying a CD, DVD and a book at the same time, lol!

did you not have a booster done when you were at school (i think i had mine in year 10) cos if you did you can just show them the documents you get when you have them done
I can't remember if I had a booster. It's not in my vaccination card. The nurse will sort it out tomorrow.
Do you have to have injections to go to uni?
You need to have booster shots for MMR and Meningitis because if someone catches any of the diseases they can spread like wildfire at universities due to the number of people one person would come into contact with.
Talking to the lad I mentioned in my last post, he's mistaking me for someone else  I don't know how to tell him I'm not the person he thinks I am. I'm pretty sure he's the same lad, he was talking about his kidney transplant. He doesn't sound the same though, he was really shy when I knew him, I can't understand how he changed so much in a year.
Been to the hospital today for a check up. Go back in four months  I was hoping he would say a year. They seem determined to get me off the drugs  It's not happening any time soon.
Done some shopping as well. Went to La Senza and got some bras, knickers and pjs. I'm going for a shower now so I can wear my new pjs.

yeh i think all unis require you to have had certain vaccinations. i know when i was sorting my registration out i had to write when i had certain ones done. i know at my uni if you didnt have it done they would do it there. but its just so youre protected. there have been about 3 people at my uni since ive been there whove died of different diseases and the uni had to get everyone who knew them checked out

how do you know he thinks youre someone different? i think you need to tell him sooner rather than later tbh

Because he said something about not seeing him since year seven, I've only known him since I was in year 11 as he's a couple of years younger than me. Apparantly I smiled at him during an RE lesson.
I'll tell him tomorrow, not sure how to say it without embarrassing him.

Aww Abigail don't worry you'll be fine :)
Ahhh good day :D
Had dancing which was fun :) I didn't know we had so many glands!...no wonder I failed Biology (long story)
Got home and the cinema had rang. My interview is 26th August at 3 :D
And I'm speaking to that boy I posted about and basically I'm quizzing him over everything I've seen/heard.. but he said she told ihm to comment her pictures so he commented funny stuff and she did it to his too.
And that the kiss on the bridge thing never happened.... but now he's asking if I like him and.. I do but like.. it would never happen, because I still think he's a bit of a player and the age too. It jsut would not happen lol
Ah well, I'll have to figure out a way to tell him all of that nicely. Hmm.
School tomorrow to help sort out the Sixth Form Block which should be fun :)
Are you sure that he's being genuine or is he saying those things to get back in your good books?
I'm going out for a meal and then to the cinema on Friday night with my sister.
I really need to see my friends when I go to get my results tomorrow. It's got to be getting on for 50 days since I last saw them. Not the greatest time of year to have a massive holiday, because my dad's working 10 hours most days. I have photos burned onto discs for them, but knowing my luck I won't see them. My friends will probably have opened theirs before I even get on the first bus I need to go and get mine. When I have to wait in town for a bus to school I usually get a sausage roll from the butchers but it's shut this week. Don't really want to have to wait in town for a bus more than usual; there's been a bag snatch and a robbery at gunpoint within the last week.

That's exactly what I was thinking, and after what I've heard about him like being a player and that... it wouldn't surprise me if he only said it to get in my good books.
I don't know :searchme: but I think I'll call quits on the whole thing anyways.. even if he was telling the truth and everything, it jsut wouldn't happen

hmmmm im not sure, maybe say something like i dont remember such and such happening, and then say something about how you know him, eg do you remember when such and such happened or we did so and so together (or however you know him), then he might realise who you are without the embarrassment of you telling him

cant you text your friends and say you wanna meet up with them but you cant get there til such and such a time and ask them if they can go at that time too?

When I collected my results we all hung around to see what each other got.
Can't you post the discs or take them round to your friends' houses while you're in town if you don't get to see them?

thats what we did too, met up at the school, hung around at the school for maybe 1hr30mins talking to people then me and my friends went into town and met up with the boys, then hung around for a bit and went home. i think most people will stay at the school for a while, i cant remember anyone at my school who left straight after getting their results
I don't really want to open mine until I get home, so I don't think I'll be hanging around. One friend's taking her mum so I don't think she will be; not sure about the other one though. I was going to go round to one of them as it's the only one I actually know the way to (you can tell I only get to see them at school,) giving her hers and asking if she'd mind giving the other one to the other for me, as I think they see each other most days as they're only about 5 minutes apart. I'd really like to see the other too because I haven't seen her for ages but I guess it's not happening unless she happens to be at my other friend's house when I get there. I just hope I don't go knocking on my friend's door and finding she's really disappointed, because she's always saying how me and the other friend seem to get better grades than her.

Had the best day of my life today! Met up with my cousin, went to meet up with two fam friends and then went out for lunch, went for a spot of shopping (I didn't get anything though), went to see Into The Hoods and it was amazing! The dancers are fanatastic would love to see it again! Brilliant!
Everytime George Sampson came on the whole audience would go mad but I didn't because they only did it for George and I didn't want to just cheer for him as much as I loved what he does.. All the dancers were amazing and should have got credit for it equally!
After the play (which by the way did I say was spectacular! :p).. We saw this crowd waiting by the side doors so we joined and suddenly people started screaming and my cousin who is quite tall caught him on my cam, ahh I love her for it! Just as cute and smiley as he is on TV :p Bless him.
Went for dinner after and met my cousin's bf and my other friend's bf who I had never met before which was cool and it was just really good. Went TGI's and spent about 2 hours there.. Got home around 11 I think..
Top stuff, best day ever..
And tomorrow is my worst day ever (technically today but in a few hours).. Glad I managed to do this today though (Wed) :)
Coming home soon :(
I hope the sun gets out tomorrow, or at least the rain stops. I doubt youve heard cos its Just a tropical storm at the moment, but this potential hurricane called Fay has been passing.
At one point we were put on Tornado watch and then the worry was for flooding. I know the the Florida Keys were evacuated a few days ago before she passed there just in case.. But they are predicting that she may go into the atlantic and intensify and then curve back round and go over florida and then into the gulf of Mexico. The weather channel are loving this, well fasinating cos she intensified over land.
The beauty and Natural Hazards, huh?
I saw the warning of the potential hurricane on Sky News the other day, hope that Fay is not going to spoil the rest of your hols. :) I only have 11 days left myself :(

I went to a funeral yesterday - the first one I've ever been too. It was really upsetting. It was for the Chairman of the Scout Group I used to attend. He will be a loss to the town and I will miss him, but it was a good turn out for him. Last night, I went out with some mates though and that was nice. :)
Todays been quite a nice day - stayed in bed 'til after midday, just how I like it. :rotfl:
Well the tropical storm went into the Atlantic and now is coming across Florida again, so we have had more rain wind and more rain. Still warm though
However Im at the airport now, Getting a flight to Charlotte and then onto London, I'll be home in the morning.

Don't know what time I got up today. My mum came in and woke me up as she was told that my friend's mum has died. I don't think she really knew what to say to my friend's dad when he told her; it was so sudden. Me and my mum are going to the funeral on Tuesday; my mum was friends with her and I've always got on well with her. I feel so sorry for the kids. It's hard for anyone to lose a parent at any age but my friend has 2 sisters who only turned 13 the day before their mum died. They have epilepsy so I don't know how they're going to cope. My friend's only 15 and the oldest daughter is 18.
I've ordered a DVD recorder from the Dixons website which needs to be signed for and it'll arrive on Tuesday by the looks of it so I don't know what's going to happen about that.

Davey and Kim I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of you're Scout master Davey and you're friends mum Kim. I lost my mum 13 years ago and from a personal experience Kim it doesn't matter what age you are, you will always need your Mum.
My week at work has been hectic. The student return to college on Monday 25 and as you can imagine it mad, with having to create new class registers, organise enrollment forms and other admin duties.
Been to the cinema to see Mamma Mia this evening. Was a great night out. My sister went to La Senza as I gave her a £5 off voucher and I ended up spending another £33. I spent £45 on Wednesday :ninja: My excuse is that nne of my bras fit me so I needed some new ones. And some new pjs :D:D
My sister said something really funny in the car. It was raining pretty hard, she said word for word, "that's not rain, its just pretend rain, it's not even touching the floor." :rotfl: No idea what pretend rain is
I want to move to Scotland! Fed up with the summer now; nothing to do around here. One of my friends from school asked if I'd like to go to her house on Monday. She didn't realise there are no buses up there at all on a bank holiday because there's only one firm that does them to there and they don't work bank holiday. I thought my dad would take me as a reward for my results; he seemed happier with them than I was. He hasn't agreed yet. I'll be gutted if I can't go because I haven't been able to see any of my friends this summer.

It's brill. I laughed my socks off in places. Julie Walters and Pierce Brosnan were far better than Meryl Streep. I don't rate her as an actress.
I'd be fine taking a nine year old. There's no sex scenes, strong language or anything else you wouldn't want Marley to see or hear.

Im back!!!
God it felt like and well has taken ages for us to get home,
We got a flight from Orlando to Charlotte yesterday at half 3 in the afternoon eastern time, and then a flight at 8pm, again their time to Gatwick. SO we landed just before 9am British time which for us was really 4am lol. Actually now that I think about it for me its really nearly 1pm!
Im really sad now that Im back, cos you know on the last day when you travel and all packed and your like you just wantt to get home, but now that Im here, just wanna go back, fair enough there was a storm but it was passing :)
Jus to think that this time on Thursday I was in magic kingdom
:(
The flight back from Florida was one of the worst I've been on. I felt so ill because I was stressed over check in and security at Sandford. It has to be the worst airport in the world.
Really pleased you're back :D
How come you were stressed?
We usally fly to Sanford, but this year it was Orlando International.
To be honest I prefer Sandford, altough Orlando International has massive and had good shops.
Im now watching home and away, I have soooo much to catch up on
Only a while ago I kept thinking it was friday, cos I havent slept, and we started flying yesterday, friday, so it doesnt feel like saturday

the worst airport ive been to was some american one, cant remember which, think it was san francisco, and when we went id just had an operation on my knee and so was on crutches and could hardly walk, well the people at sercurity maybe me take my shoes off and put them and my crutches through the scanning thing (which is understandable) but they kept sending my crutches back through, and i was standing right by where your bags and stuff come out, holding on cos i couldnt stand up and one of the security people told me to move out the way and even though i explained i was waiting for my crutches she pushed me out the way and manoeuvred me miles away from my crutches cos she didnt want me standing there in the way! i couldnt believe it, she just didnt care!
Yeah, I had a great time :D
Althought I cant help feel it wasnt as good as in 2006 when we went for a month. I think the main reason is cos back then we had 3 weeks disney park hopper ticket.
Whereas this time round we have a 7 day theme park ticket with 7 visits to the water parks and in total we only spent 9 days in disney,
You see I love Disney :D
But then again this timer we went to Disney and Universal ( which we did before) And Busch Gardens ( also did in 06) yet this time we went to Wet n WIld, Sea World And Aquatica.
But yeah I had a really good time, I just wish I could still be there.

Random day.
Had a driving lesson which was jsut plain awful! I had to do one way streets today... I officially despise them! :(
And I had to drive past a load of boys I know which threw me off because they just stared at my bad driving! Haha
Then I went to town with a friend I haven't really seen for a while, so that was ok.
I have a banging headache now though which isn't pleasing me. I don't appreciate it's presence!
The boy hasn't spoke to me since I gave him my answer to whether I liked him or not.. don't knwo fi that's good or bad :/
I really should stop going on about him. Sorry.

But then again this timer we went to Disney and Universal ( which we did before) And Busch Gardens ( also did in 06) yet this time we went to Wet n WIld, Sea World And Aquatica.
But yeah I had a really good time, I just wish I could still be there.
Now I have to wait for my results
glad you had a good time :) im so jealous, i wanna go!

i went to portugal to chill out with the family - my mum, step dad and brother!! really sad at 25 but hey - it was cheap and i needed to get away, i had recently split with my boyf, so needed to get away from all things here!!
i got back and it sodding rained!!!! i could feel my tan draining out of me!
Aww don't apologise Kirsty, that's what this thread is for. Glad you had a good time Abbie and good luck with your results when you get them.
Today I was going to go to Tescos with my parents for the sake of it but I didn't get up in time. They bought a new hoover while they were there which shocked me as they must have had the same one for 25 years! A friend from school who had to move school when she went into care rang me earlier. She was going to come down tomorrow but she can't get anyone to drive her. We're going to meet up and go shopping on Wednesday if she's allowed; both get buses and meet in the middle kind of thing.. although I have to get two buses and she only needs the one. Not a good idea to live out of town.
I got a congratulations card from my Aunt today. I can't believe she posted it, she sees my mum every week.

Was the weather good then? :p
Been shopping this afternoon and got more things to take to uni. There's not going to be any room in the car for me at this rate. My mum is getting weird, she was asking if the rooms would have lightbulbs in them  :rotfl: She's taking this moving out thing way too seriously.
Going to my sister's tomorrow until Friday. Should pass some time, I really want to pack but I can't live out of boxes for another three weeks.
Ooo your going to Uni Abigail
Omg I hope you'll still come on here lots :D I dont know what Id do without my H&A buddy :p
So when are you going? Where are you going? ANd what are you going to study?

Tannie I was in the centre or Edinburgh yesterday and up the High Street watching the street performers. Did you see the group of chinese guys and girls doing Kung FU they were brilliant. We then went into Princes street gardens and got chucked out at 8.15 as the park keeper was closing up. We are going up town next Sunday night to see the fireworks. It starts at 9pm but the bbc are showing it on the web.

Borrrrrrrrrrrrrring day!
I half heartedly tidied my room. Still it's better than nothing. I've jsut got no energy and I don't know why. I really want to go back to school now! At least there we have more laughs than we've had this whole summer holidays!
:(
Same Kirsty, except no tidying. I really should tidy it up, to say it's a tip is a massive understatement. I might get there a bit late, but my dad has said he will get me to my friend's house eventually tomorrow :D That'll be the first friend I've seen the whole summer with the exception of the prom night. I probably won't be saying this in a couple of weeks, but at the moment I want some work to be getting on with.

I tidied my whole room yesterday.. I was waiting to do it for a month now and finally the time came! :cheer:
Basically I have like piles of boxes and books under my desk and stuff of school books I kept. I was planning to throw them all away as soon as exams finished but then thought it would be best to keep them if I were to re-take them or may need them for next year so had to wait for the result to come, right..
So now it came I cleared out LOADS and got like 4 bags of books and other random stuff like magazines I have kept.. All going to recycling (ahh it feels good lol).. Also found some random books so giving that to charity..
Gave my room a good old dusting and hoover'ed up and wallah :D
I feel that there is sooo much space now so I feel clean and happy! I like the one-off big clean. My room is usually tidy (try to keep it close to tidy!) but getting rid of things makes me feel good!

A messy room is a messy mind.
I need to get under my bed and sort it out. Its just a big pile of school stuff and a load of pictures I need to put into my albums lol.. so when I geta cleaning mind on. I'll do it :) My heads a bit clearer now I've tidied, but I like it when things are sorted and I know where everything is.. expecially when I'm back in school because I concentrate sooo much better!
I took great pleasure in throwing a Physics book out today. I had no idea it was still in my room. Found a load of notes from my revision so they went in the bin too. There's still a big file full or more in the spare room, I think my mum wants to keep them  And for some reason she wanted my exam timetable.

Getting ready for our month long trip to the US of A,, leaving in 11 days time,, we are still trying to get ahold of our airlines and find out if the RUMOUR is true or false that we are only allowed ONE checked on suitcase, damn airlines is pssing :wall: me off cos I can not start packing any thing until we know for sure,, got tons of things for my grand babies and presents for my moms 89th b'day,,
Well until we know I can not do much of any thing, can not stay on HOLD all damn long day on the fone, it costs a small fortune,,
Any way,, back to something else until we get a confirmation on the luggage issue.....
Then we are also waiting for a confirmation for kennels for our dog, we decided to change kennels this year, and this kennel does not give confirmations via e mail or snail mail:rolleyes: so we also have to call those folks too AGAIN......
So to be contiuned,, might as well go sort out the clothing we wanna take,, :rotfl: a pile of clothes for the extra bag,, or the pile for just one bag,,
Surely you''ll be allowed more than one bag. When we went to America we were allowed 46kg each, so two suitcases each

Abbie same airlines as you flew <US AIRWAYS.>.seems that there were rumours flying about this airlines, and we just had to double and triple check, cos we are taking the train from home to the airport and we did not want to be stuck re arranging ONE SUITCASE and leaving the other behind ya know,, that would have been a ROYAL PAIN IN THE behind,,:D
Oh right. We were really shocked we were allowed to take sooo much luggage, it was good. Although we werent too keen on the planes. They say wider seats and extra leg room, but thats not on all their planes

erm im not sure, most schools/colleges post the results out the day after results day if you havent come and collect them but some dont bother, especially if youre going back next year. did you tell them you wouldnt be there to collect them/ask them to be posted? but its more likely than not that they would have been posted
I didnt tell them anything.
So all the college know is that I didnt turn up for results day which was a while ago now.
I would prefer if they came in the post tomorrow, when the rest of our post will come.( we did that keep safe thing) I really dont want to go in and collect them :(

My friend didn't go t the school to collect her but a lady who works in the school around all the important stuff sends her kids to dancing and they're in my class so my friend asked her what would happen and she said she hsould have taken a stamped envelope with her address on to the school if she knew she wasn't going ot be and they would send them home to her, but because she didn't have any idea about that (neither did the rest of the year) she has to wait until shes back in school.
Then again that's my school for you and I don't think thats the same case in the other schools/colleges, pfft I mean come on our schools too lazy to put our results in envelopes for us. I would imagine yours will come in the post though because you're in College and they do things properly :)

cant believe your school didnt even put your results in envelopes! i couldnt be bothered to go and collect my AS results when i did mine (even though i only live round the corner!) and my school sent them first class to me and they got to my house the next day. yet the school i did performing arts at didnt send my results to me and i had to wait til i went back in september. my sis college were gonna send their results to them if they didnt go and get them and my school i did my gcses at sent them too. as you say it depends on the school/college
abbie, could you not get your dad to pick up your results for you if they havent been sent to save you having to go up there?

abbie, could you not get your dad to pick up your results for you if they havent been sent to save you having to go up there?
I dont know, plus I wouldnt want him to
I know this will sound really harsh but that means he would be there when I open them and I dont want him to be, I just feel too much pressure. I know ot sounds harsh
That's fair enough, Abbie. You put in the work for those exams, you took the exams and they're your results. You should be able to decide where, when and how to open them. I wouldn't let my parents be there when I collected mine; you live in the same house as them, they'll know eventually what you got, so they should be happy with that. My mum wanted to open mine first and I needed the toilet when I got mine. I took them with me when I went to the bathroom because I couldn't trust her not to open it when I was in there. I told her if she wanted an envelope of results to open to go and take her own exams.
DHL don't have very good timing. My DVD recorder was collected by them at half 6 this morning according to the tracker. I have to go to a funeral. Knowing my luck they'll come when we're out and then take it to some random place where we have to collect it. I wouldn't mind so much if I could drive up there and get it when I wanted to, but I'll have to wait for my dad to go if they do take it there. I ordered from the internet because I couldn't go to Argos and order it then go back in a few days to collect it for a reason

I'm so nervous :( :(
I don't know what strengths I have, what weaknesse, anything.
I've been going over stuff I can say alllll morning and all yesterday.
I just want today to be over and done with. I'm excited beneath it all because I've waited so long for this interview!
I really want this job but I know I'll muck up the interview.
I'll just have to get by with a cheeky wink and a little smile
Haha nah I'll just try and be myself and jsut say what I think I should be saying!:ninja: :ninja:
Strengths good people skills as you want to work in a school? Obviously don't tell them the last bit, lol!
We were told in PSHE to say something as a weakness which would actually be a good thing.
Have you found out stuff about the cinema so it'll show that you're really interested in working for them in particular?
Kirsty :]

They dont have alot of info really. But they have a sort of job description on there so I know what to say if they ask why I'm suited for the job. :)
Thats about all I know though lol
just found out some exciting news!
well ive been worrying that my degree from Solent was going to be a bit bad, and I regretted not going to Bournemouth in the end (which is probs the best place for my course) but then again I didn't like Bournemouth or it's uni.
well...
i've found out after uni i can do a post-grad masters degree at Bournemouth for two years. And the beauty of it - I only have to be in Bournemouth for 3 weeks out of those 2 years! the rest of the time i can work from home, doing intensive writing and individual learning programmes, with 24-7 online guidance from lecturers and students on their media portal!
this is exciting as it's a really good course, and it ends with a showcase of our scripts to media execs and potential employers, so basically it's going to be a gateway into the industry, which Solent wasn't going to be offering.
and even if it all falls through, not only will i have an honours degree, but i'll have a masters degree, which will look doubly good in any job
AND
it means i cant avoid the real world for an extra two years, and still be a student! :D

Thats fantastic news Bryan.
Me fed up today, heard my back op - spinal fusion that I should be having in October now might not be happening til Christmas. I have been on high dose of morphine and thats not helped the pain, and now on Fentanyl patches and they are useless, so off to the docs at 4pm to see what he suggests. Wish me luck, I want answers! :D

Hmm I'm not convinced I got the job but only time can tell.
I'll know by next week via letter.
Wish me luck :)
Sitting here trying to write a letter for history; Basically it's a letter to the italian people from Gusieppi Mazinni about a united Italy and we're to explain different factors in it but i just can't do it and it's getting to me don't know if it's because of my history exam result but i just feel like i can't do it. :thumbsdow :(

Well luggage is pretty well packed, all our important papers in a small satchel, reservations double checked and confirmed, man, this trip is going to be awesome . My brother is taking 2 extra days off while we are in Fla, to take us to some big attractions,,( knowing my bro it will be UNIVERSAL CITY AND DISNEYWORLD) my partner will NOT be too impressed but I think he will enjoy it once he gets into it, he does have to loosen up a abit..I do want to try to get to BUSCH GARDENS,, cos i know my partner will really enjoy that,, thank goodness we are on holiday for a month, so we have time to mess around, if not I will just use him for food at the alligator farm :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Got my hair done and posted a picture of it in the members pictures thread it's rather blonde so not to sure if i like it but yeah i need to get used to it:lol: Heading over to edinburgh on saturday to get my birthday present off my grandma for next wednesday i will be 17 yaaaay:Dx finally legal to driv woohooo:cheer:
I've been at my sister's this week, coming home tomorrow for the weekend. There's a goodbye party on Saturday for my cousin. He's moving to Dubai. I don't particulary feel like going, I just want to stay at home. I thought it was during the day but it's at night :( Not in the partying mood and it's not like I can go for a few hours because he lives right out in the sticks (I have no idea where) and I doubt my dad will bring me back early.
Coming back to my sister's on Sunday until Friday then it's time to pack up ready for the 13th when I go to uni.

Watched my sister today while my cousin cut my Mum and brothers hair. Was a good day :) My cousin is the same age as me and I hardly see her anymore so after she finished we wtached Eastenders and had a little chat :) Was nice.
It was a nice little lift, and I'm jsut glad my Mums ok with me now, because apparently I never see my sister which isn't true at all.. I'm the first one there when my Mum needs someone to watch her aswell as going over there when I can to see them. Sometimes I jsut feel liek I do nothing right for them, but it seems as if everythings ok... for now. When I go back to school it'll be the same story again but I'll jsut have to divide my time between everything somehow :)
Driving lesson tomorrow (today) vroom vroom. I'm doing one way streets and I really despise them! :( Boohoo never minddd!
Ive been working working working working and working. It feels like forever ago when i was in majorca! i guess thats the nature of work though. I am enjoying it though , i never though i would this much even now i am in accounts! back to uni soon so i am shopping tonight oh and the horrible landlord has taken out my rent so i am poor again, oh well that's life i guess.
On the plus Man City won and signed Shaun Wright Phillips. So that made me happy.
Went to see Step Brothers tonight with my sister. I haven't laughed so much in ages, well worth going to see.

i had to have my cat put to sleep yesterday :( she was about 19 so was quite old and she had a growth in her mouth which had got really big. she had been dribbling for a few weeks and when she washed her fur was getting all sticky but she seemed to still be herself. but on thursday she wasnt able to eat her food at all, even though my mum cooked fish for her in the evening. the vet said they could insert a feeding tube into her but we didnt think it would be fair seeing as it would only last for 2 weeks anyway and we werent even sure if she would survive the anaethetic (sp?). my other 2 cats have been looking around trying to find her as they knew she wasnt there :(

Awww Im sorry to hear about your cat DM :(
Ive done nothing all day
:( Its soooo depressing having nothing to do. I really really wish I was still on Holiday, I wasnt ready to come home. Im just soo bored, I watch Tv and theres nothing good on, but since for thr past month I havent watched a lot of TV I find I get bored of TV really quickly now. Then I come on my laptop I just find I have nothing to do.
In a way I want to go back to college cos of my bored but at the same time I dont want to, cos Im gonna get really stressed.
Argh! Im sooo annoyed with myself cos I just keep complaining, keep wishing I was in florida and just cant be content!! Ahhhhh!
Sorry for the ramble
I haven't done much today either. Went to work this morning, came home and went to bed for several hours. Going to my sister's tomorrow until Friday then I'm home for a week then off to uni.
Didn't go to the farewell bbq. It ended up being an afternoon thing and I couldn't get out of bed and get dressed.
Mum wasn't too pleased when she saw my new pjs and pens, my two vices. I've got more pjs than I can wear and so many pens its unbelieveable. My excuse is that the pencils are ergonomic and the highlighters come with a stand so they won't get lost :D Haven't got one for the pjs, I just couldn't resist.
Lol Im like that with pjs. I dunno what it is about them, but I see a pair and Im like awww I have to have them. Which reminds me, I was gonna buy a pair on holiday but I forgot in the end
I bought a pair of Tinkerbell ones on holiday but they don't fit. I had to guess the size as US sizes are smaller than UK and there was no changing rooms. The top is way too small and the bottoms are too big. Same with a pair of shorts that I bought, they were too big. Oh well, got plenty of other pjs to wear :D
Awwww, there were these Mickey mouse ones I wanted to get from Bargin world, but I forgot, we kinds didnt go there much at the end :(

Yes, I am very tanned, I tan quickly and easily :)
Have to enrol tomorrow and still have no EMA notification certificate. My mum's just watched the news and she said it's the same people doing that as marked this year's SAT's papers. Great, I still have to pay £45 a month for a bus pass out of my own pocket. I thought 2 payments when I haven't even gone back to school was ridiculous.
They think people won't be able to go back into go back into education because of this, and the government keeps on that there's not enough people staying on after 16 as it is.

I got EMA last year - if your entitled too it, it's really worth getting it. I got £20 once every 2 weeks, and 2 £100 bonuses throughout the year on top of that for doing well.
Unfortunately I am not entitled to it this year as my family's income is over the threshold.
Kirsty :]
03-09-2008, 18:36
I'm the opposite lol. I couldn't get it last year but can this year as my Granch is in a lower paid job... and I'm going to take full advantage of this EMA!
The only thing I don'tr liek about my timetable is that all my lessons are in like.. doubles.
Today I had double English Language. The joys!
And tomorrow double English Literature, I only found out what books we were doing today as I didn't know if I wanted to take it or not! 1984, Dr.Faustus and The Handmaids Tale..I'm not looking forward to it :(
At college we have loads of doubles, we only have one 1hour lesson of each subject each week, the rest are all 2 hours. I like 2 hours though, I feel we work better and get more done

Seriously I barely ever go on the tube as my Dad always says things and puts Mum off  So as I went with my cousin last week I felt confident and I couldn't believe how EASY it was to get around.. So quick as well.. Wow..
So now I feel like I can travel the world  Okay, maybe not!
But I definitely wouldn't mind going uni and coming back home after work maybe everyday! ;] :D x
we have a new school day - 4 lessons in the morning, 1 in the afternoon. It was rather weird today with the new timings but I'm sure I'll get used to it.
My school has changed their school day. Visitors thought it was lazy that we didn't start lessons until 8.55am after a 20min tutor. The day starts at 8.40 with lessons for two hours then a 20min break then two more hours of lessons and dinner at 1pm  Another lesson after that then a 20minute tutor at the end of the day.
I'm so pleased that I've left, couldn't start lessons that early in the morning. I don't know if some of the students there will cope with four hours of lessons in the morning.
On top of that, the school has a new building that is going to be used whilst one of the old buildings is being knocked down. There are also portakabins as there isn't enough classroom space so I can imagine it's going to be a fun day tomorrow when they all go back :rotfl:
Lol, Im used to lunch at 1pm, last year there was only once or twice I think my luch was at 12

My high school was always like that, and a lot here start earlier(read: start 8am, finish at 1 cos they don't have a lunch break). You get used to eating late though, when i first started college, I couldn't eat at 12 because it felt so odd!

we have a new school day - 4 lessons in the morning, 1 in the afternoon. It was rather weird today with the new timings but I'm sure I'll get used to it.

Haha our school day used to be like that, but now we have form at 8:35, lesson 1, lesson 2 break at 10:55-11:15, then lesson 3 & 4, dinner at 1:15-2:00, then lesson 5 until 3. I hate having dinner so late, it's jsut silly because I never want tea then :thumbsdow
Edit: On another note, the cinema have emailed the peole who didn't get the job today, I wasn't one so fingers crossed! I'm not getting my hopes up though, they could email me at any time saying I haven't got it.

That's my new school day! I don't like it to be honest..I am usually feeling dead in the mornings and don't properly wake up until the afternoon.

It will be fine, everyones in the same boat, so loadd of people talk and its easy to talk to people
I'm staying at the same school so not so much the new people thing for me. I kind of wish I was going somewhere new in the hope that I wouldn't find so many people that regarded being disabled so negatively. Ah well, it'll be new and even more mature people (hopefully) for uni in 2 years time.
My school day is quite like most people's on here. 8.35 is registration with first lesson at 8.40. Lessons are an hour long each and we have two before a 20 minute break, 2 more before a 40 minute lunch, 20 minute registration/assembly then 1 lesson in the afternoon. The only thing they've changed since I started there in Year 7 are the warning bells after break and lunch. It used to be 5 minutes before the lesson but now it's 2 as no one bothered to leave the hall when it went off so it was pointless having it that early.
Enrolment day for me tomorrow. I was supposed to hand in my EMA notification certificate but I don't have it because of the delays this year. My friend said to get the earliest possible bus so we could meet up so she better be at the bus stop at the time she said. If she doesn't show I will be wandering around all day by myself as my bus pass is only valid for a certain bus which only comes back at 3:05. I'm not getting the other one and paying for it and then paying for another one from town. I can't actually walk that but the bus company don't care and the bus from town is a rip off. I'm not quite disabled enough to get free fares even though I can't walk that.
my sister went yesterday and was fuill of it she loves college. all these frees i was really jelous. I am really getting the hang of work. Its going to be weird goijng back to uni and doing nothing all day which is basically what you do to what im doing now which is jam packed jobs all day. Its like complete opposites.
Oh and some little **** has nicked me mams phone and Purse from her car last night. Fair enough it was a bit silly leaving it in there but your only human, it doesnt help dad shouting at her. Oh well he'll get over it. The credit cards have all been cancelled so thats ok.

;595924']Happy Birthday Tannie :D
Welcome back Perdita hope you had a nice time :)
Boooooooooooring day!
First day back at school, and it's just gone soooo slow.
I have so many frees now lol, I don't know what to do with myself! I'll probably end up living in the library this year!
Driving soon, I don't want to go.. the rain is absolutely hammering down here and we have a little interval of sun :(
Wish we had free periods. Last year's year 11 did ):
we never got frees in yr11 :( loads of other schools in my area did though

yesterday i went out for chinese with my sis and little cousin, i ate too much as usual as its only £7 for the buffet including the dessert buffet! the man didnt want to give my cousin the kiddie price to start with cos he said she was too tall! shes only 8! then wandered around town for a bit, my little cousin wanted to look in claires, we must have been in there about 1hr and im sure we looked at every single thing in the shop at least 4 times! in the end i told her i was leaving her cos we were going! then we spent ages in blockbuster trying to choose a film cos she kept saying she had seen them all! finally got "just my luck" which was actually quite funny. also watched "mr beans holiday" cos my little cousin had just bought it. then while we were babysitting her in the evening cos my auntie had gone out we made pizza (which was my aunties idea before she left!), i dont know how a little kid can make so much mess, she had flour all over her face and cheese in her hair! i had a good day though, although when we went home i accidently left the food shopping my mum asked me to buy for her at my aunties lol!

Is this at high school? Geesh you guys start early!
We have Form at 9 until about 25past 9 then we have two lessons, a 15min break, another lesson, a 50minute lunch then form for 10 minutes, two more lessons and finish at half three, but half two on a Wed, and we still do the same amount of lessons on wednesday, just no form.

yeh that was at my secondary school. although my primary school wasnt that much difference, we had registration at 8.45am and lessons started at 9am, lunch was at 12.30pm and we left at 3.25pm. your school starts quite late lol compared to any school where i live! and i cant believe you leave earlier on wednesdays!
We didn't have any frees in Year 11 either. I had a tutor in Years 7-9 who I got on really well with and who got rid of us in the end because she couldn't put up with the amount of immature boys that we had in the group. She has a Year 12 tutor group this year and the 6th form secretary woman who we had to register with today was flicking through the timetable and I was sure I saw that tutor group on mine but it wasn't :(
Hmm timetable.. well I miss Business because we have to stay in our tutor group tomorrow for an hour, then have a free. Luckily my friend has a free at that time or I wouldn't have anything to do because I don't have a lesson until after break. My Business/Economics teacher is so going to get fed up on me; I have her two lessons in a row on one of the days and I have her twice a day on quite a few of the days. She gets Wednesdays as a break though because I don't have her at all on that day lol!
On Tuesday I have one lesson after another in the same room. If we don't get a seating plan which most teacher's don't give then I won't even have to leave my seat
Went to my friend's house after we enrolled. We didn't know where the time went. We had to eat lunch quickly in the end before I missed the bus.
The council  They're charging £45 a month for a bus pass and I thought it was ridiculous enough that I had to pay to go and collect it from school. When I got there they didn't make me sign for it or anything and the envelope actually had my address on the front. Then I open it and find that the thing expires on 19th December! Now I'll have to pay to go and pick up a new pass in January, it seems completely stupid to me because I'm paying up until July that I have to have different passes in that time. I bet the driver decides to charge me on the 19th because it says it expires on that day.
Looking forward to seeing who is in my classes tomorrow. I know that the two friends I put down on my form are in my tutor group but I don't know who else is in it.
There was a portaloo in the school today :hmm: Made me think of the post about a portacabin further up.

 i cant believe you have to pay £45 a month for a bus pass, thats well expensive! do you have to use 2 different bus companies or something? and is it just to use to and from school or will you be able to use it at weekends and stuff?

That is outrageous Kim. I pay £24 a month for a bus pass for Marley. The Council won't provide one for her as I chose to send her to a school outside the catchment area, but the pass she has she can use it on anytime. Up here if you have a disability or require addition support you get a free travel pass for you and 1 other person, a carer perhaps. It can be used on buses, trains or coaches.
I'm thinking it's expensive, too. I used to pay £150 a year for my unirider. Which company is it? Are there any student tickets available?

thats why i was thinking it was expensive, i only pay £100 a year (well probably about 9months cos its a uni year) and i can use it on any bus i like of that company in the whole county! i know thats a special discounted student ticket, but even the tickets everyone can by is only £9 a week (thats not the whole county, just the whole town and surrounding area) but thats still less than £45 a month
