Yeah, if this is the way it's going to go obviously I don't want Ross to change but definetly develop. In fact, if Ross does go to prison for Finn's crime, that in itself will be a development for both Ross as a character and for us as a viewer.

Maybe, a potential future storyline if Ross does go to prison, is that he meets an old "friend" who has something on Ross or vice versa and could be a future dodgy-dealing storyline.

Nah I think he'd probably be smart enough to know not to get on the wrong side of people.

taken from the Emmerdale Spoilers 18th - 22nd April 2016

    Fri 22 Apr
    - Finn strikes a dodgy deal... But who with, and will he live to regret it?

What next, from Mon 25 Apr?
    - Who's arrested thanks to Charity?

These were taken from soaplife. I think the fact that the second spoiler doesn't say Finn when it's obvious he's going to be in trouble from the first spoiler they post, to me indicates there is a twist - Ross.

Could be wrong though! They don't mention Charity in the first spoiler to be fair.

Well this would explain his absence while Michael Parr is climbing Everest, plus every villain needs to do a bit of time.

I think Finn is the one who gets arrested as I read somewhere that Ross begs Charity to get him off the hook. So maybe Ross does lie to keep Finn out of prison.

Could it be that Charity asks Ross first and when he declines she asks Finn. Could be that he feels guilty. Maybe, the writers want us to think that Ross ends up in prison and this scene could be after he is arrested, making us realise he doesn't stay in there long.
With more ITV spoilers now it looks more than ever this will be what happens:

    7489 TX Thursday 21 April 2016 8pm – 8.30pm
    Ross feels guilty

I found these two new snippets with pictures on Twitter.

I don't know the air date.

Ross is unimpressed with Charity's deal with Finn but she insists to him that the deal is low risk.
