Are you over 21 Vicky? If so you'll be classed as a mature student. If you're unsure about your qualifications, ring the universities up (when you have a rough idea of what course you want to do) and ask to talk to the admissions tutor for the faculty. They'll be able to give you more advice on the entry requirements, they are sometimes different for people who haven't done the usual A levels, HND, NVQ etc and are mature students.

And i looked on UCAS website and i typed in web design as a course but different uni's offer different types of courses like some just say web design, others says graphics and web design and others say media studies with web design (and there are loads more different ones)
Graphics and web design, media and web design etc are joint honours. How you study them varies (major/minor, equal weight) but the idea is you combine two subject areas into one degree. If you just want to study one subject area then opt for web design or similar on it's own.

It is well confusing! if you see a course that you like on UCAS go on the own university website and then it should give you details on what you will study

On the not sure about moving away why dont you just go and look round open days and get a feel for a place, i moved away and i am 2 and a half hours away on a train, which i feel is a nice distance for me you could look for ones that are away from home but not too far away.

That probably sounded like a load of waffle but in my head it sounded ok!

Well done on confirming you offers.

Vicky what Abigail was saying was that with your course you can do it either single honours (you do just that course E.g Drama) or joint/combined honours (combine that course with another one e.g. Drama and English)
Major/minor thing is to do with joint/combined honours - you can major in one subject (E.g. Major in drama) and minor in another (E.g. Minor in English) - basically means you do more drama than english something like 70:30 or something. Or you can do an equal balance of them.

The ucas website is a GODSEND when you come to actually applying Its pretty easy to use when you get used to it

Oooh done my choices guys; Firm -> Cardiff, Insurance -> Nottingham Trent
