Yeah I always hate the roleplays. I had mine on Thursday and it actually went well - even the roleplays and I got a big thumbs-up at the end. Of course I still had butterflies in my stomach right up to the end and me and my friend spent all of the waiting time discussing why we had signed up for A-Level French

Now the revision really starts. Just under 2 months to go!!!!!!
Hiro: ...but you flying man! WHOOOOSSSHHH!
Nathan: Would you keep it down?
    Hiro: ...whooooosh.

Maths x2 (Calculator & non Calculator)
English x4 (1984 & Poetry, Short Stories, and another two!)
    History x2 (Paper 1 and paper 2)
    Business Studies
    Drama
    Citizenship
    Business Studies
    Textiles - Design Technology

In all 23 exams. And that isn't including the 2 science modules i have also!

And i am the same i am going to fail the french role play, in my mock i couldn' teven say one thing in it.

So that's 23 exams, but how many GCSE's do you actually get at the end of it all?

I presume that the English is 2 (English and English Lit.) and maybe the Science is 2 (I think I remember being told that we get 2 Science GCSE's at the end of year 11), but are the French, Maths, and History only 1, or are they more?

I mean, I didn't think it was even possible to get more than one GCSE for those subjects (especially since Maths is calculator and non-calculator - who ever sees someone who has a 'Maths: calculator' GCSE? - and also because I highly doubt you get separate GCSE's for listening, speaking etc. in French), but I don't exactly know about these things. We never get told anything at our school!

I got two GCSE's in maths - one for maths and one for statistics. Stats was easy, it was basically just the stats (graphs, data, surveys etc) work from the maths GCSE but in a bit more depth.
Like you said, two for science (if you're doing double award) and two for english. One for every other subject unless you do a GNVQ/NVG/BTEC or any other vocational subject, which are worth about 4 GCSEs.
It is possible to get three GCSEs in science if you're doing triple award. You can also do single award and get one GCSE.

11 GCSEs in all (Science and English are 2 each, and R.E and Citizenship are 1/2 each therefore together making a whole one.)

And my mistake i have 24 exams in all - forgot R.E!

I am bet your glad it's out of the way now! My french speaking exam is one of the exams that i'm most dreading. I've learnt 4 topics roughly, and i've got to write the last one out and learn it in 2 weeks. How do you think you did Abbie?
