I'm in the same situation as you Layne - I have 5 topics to learn, i've managed to learn 1 conversation topic, just 4 more to learn!
Im really panicing about my french, I have no idea how im going to learn it all
60?! Now I'm glad I'm not doing French. I really feel for anyone that is, and I know people that are doing more than one language. Good luck with it, everyone.
The only exam i am really worried about is French closely followed by Maths. I am really gonna struggle with French, she has put me in for the Higher Tier for reading despite me getting a D in it on my mock, plus the exams are gonna be completely random. With some subjects, you know to revise certain subjects that you know will come up in the exam, but with French, there is so much vocabulary to learn and anything could come up! The role play for the oral exam is going to completely random, the same with the reading paper! I am currently revising for it at the moment, i just hope that what comes up i have actually learnt!
Hasn't she even told you what has come up in recent years so that you know that there is less chance of that coming up? I'm not surprised given your coursework grade and that they are trying to get more and more higher tier passes now, but if it was that far from a C then she really should be letting you choose. If you're so worked up about it, it could put you off when you should be focussing on other subjects.
The people in my science class last year that were told that they were entered for 5-7 were allowed to change to 3-6 if they wanted, and it's more important you're comfortable with your tier of entry as GCSE's count for something other than sets.
The worst part of the french speaking exam for me is going to be the role play, I just know Im going to fail![]()
French x4 (Speakin,Listening,Writing,Reading.)
Science x6 (Biology x2,Chemistry x2,Psyhics x2)

In all 23 exams. And that isn't including the 2 science modules i have also!
And i am the same i am going to fail the french role play, in my mock i couldn' teven say one thing in it.
oh you still have modular tests to do, Ive done all mine![]()
