I work as a tech rep, I can't even access the machine, hard disk is corrupt and there is no way I can fix it unless I can get it transfered into another machine to see if it is anyway to get it to boot...

id never take con round to peoples houses who i dont know!! i have to admit i dont open the door either but that only coz our doorbell dont work so we dont hear it and we just ignore the knocking!

connor was going to be a wizard but then he decided to be a bat so now he dressed all in black with a scary torch and he chose a light up pumpkin necklace thing that makes this horrid noise when you press it!! and he has a pumpkin to put his treats in.

yesterday was a dull and boring day! i got drenched walking to school then we had to do an experiment with over ripe bananas in biology and i hate bananas and the smell was awful! :( then when i was walking home, as it had been raining, there was this really big puddle at the bottom of my road and a lorry went speeding through it, nearly completely drenching me

dddMac1
02-11-2005, 16:12
i find this year thing hard to understand cause in scotland we use primary
in other words primary 1-7 will be for the ages 5-11 but it depends on the childs Birthday

you start in year R (reception) when you are 4/5 and leave in year 11 when you are 16, only you can saty for 6th forn (yr 12 and 13) if you want until you are 18. Got all that? lol
I hate school photos as well, we've got ours to look forward to in january *rolls eyes* And i hate that they never tell you when they are going to take them so you always look your worst!

Tori

Katy
02-11-2005, 17:21
ID for over 16s its done in my area by the local council (stockport) in my case. It has a picture and says when your going to be 18.

Its a good job the geog paper is on Features as thats ok. Its just paper 3 the skills paper, like the one you do at GCSE. I hate that one its a surprise i passed GCSE geography.

Tori
02-11-2005, 18:20
lol! i love geography. where abouts in stockport are you?

Sam Nixon Fan
02-11-2005, 18:24
i love geography to, i was doing geography at uni last year cos at my uni in yr 1 u do three things and that was one of my choices. I got a B init at alevel was only 3 marks of an A was so annoyed. Geography def aint about places, its about landforms and natural disasters n stuf in physical and its about quality of life and global cities and stuf for human

Sam Nixon Fan
02-11-2005, 18:24

Tori
02-11-2005, 19:18

Sam Nixon Fan
02-11-2005, 19:24
yeah it is one big campus but there are different types of accomodations such as lonsdale griezdale, pendle there just called collages as a type of classification.

What is a 16+ card? I'm 16 this year so should I get one?

I think a 16+ card is for buses-so that you don't have to pay the Adult fare, so if that is true than it depands on if you get on buses alot and transports

Amber
02-11-2005, 20:50
My day was goooood! It was my 15th birthday today and I got £255 :D

di marco
02-11-2005, 21:13
Sometimes- as somepeople who are 16 look older as normally you wear your own clothes

yeh but what i mean is when you are 16 you have to pay adult prices anyway, so proving your age isnt going to help (unless youre under 16!)

Angeltigger
02-11-2005, 21:15
Yeah but if you have the card than it cheaper as you would not have to pay the full price until your 18

di marco
02-11-2005, 21:17
Yeah but if you have the card than it cheaper as you would not have to pay the full price until your 18

how come though if adult prices start at 16?

Angeltigger
02-11-2005, 21:19
Becasue some are still in study so they can not pay the full fare

di marco
02-11-2005, 21:20
Becasue some are still in study so they can not pay the full fare

really? cos everyone round my way does

Angeltigger
02-11-2005, 21:24
it depands on what transport you use, like what would happen if you live with a single parent and no EMA and you have to pay £5 for a ticket so that you can study, but than it depands on where you live

di marco
03-11-2005, 06:31
it depands on what transport you use, like what would happen if you live with a single parent and no EMA and you have to pay £5 for a ticket so that you can study, but than it depands on where you live

well if you dont get ema then youre quite well off, if you live with a single parent or not, thats annoying though cos when i get the train i have to pay about £12!

lollymay
03-11-2005, 08:48
people round here use there 16 plus cards to get fags ewww and to get into the 16 only nights at the club down the road

Angeltigger
03-11-2005, 09:10
Well maybe that what the card is for so that you can prove you are 16 as that is the age where people might think you are older

Abi
03-11-2005, 19:51
Today was quite funny at school actually

our maths teacher has gone back home to Canada because she need surgery, so we were meant to have a supply. There was loads of traffic, so the HoD told us just to do some revision or something untill s/he came. Anyway, as you do, we had a gossip. the head walked past and asked what the hell we were doing. He's quite strict, so we were a bit nervous around him. Then when we told him about not having a teacher in yet, he started teaching us how to do completing the square. it was so odd. He's so strict, and taught us for the whole lesson. Needless to say, we didn't gossip after that

I got my progress check as well, i got commended in 5 subjects. So happy. But i'm wworking below the standard i should be in maths. It would help if the teacher actually knew who i was, before saying i'm below. Bloody teachers!

Tori
03-11-2005, 19:53
awww- i hate teachers like that, it was parents eveing tonight i was prefecting at, and you could see that some of the teachers didn't have a clue about who they were talking about to!

Abi
03-11-2005, 19:57
Its s annoying. Its the same with my RE teacher. She doesn't know who the hell i am. She stood right next to me, and asked where Abi sat. I was like, here-duh! She whacked my friend round the head with a textbook too! When she said "miss you whacked me" she was just like "oh". No sorry or anything! And i sat with my hand up for 10 minutes, before she came to me. She just stood there looking at me!

Bloddy teachers...

im bored and cold cause its raining outside. I did all my bonfire celebrations laast night, so i think its X Factor and Strictly come dancing on the telly instead. My sister is going to a bonfire and Firework but im really to tired to get out the house.
