How did Tony get in the house? Does he have a key to Ian's place?
ians back door always seems to be open for people to just walk in, although as people were in the house maybe they dont lock it
How would Tony know about the back door though?
i dunno, im not sure how he knew where peter lived but im sure if he knew where he lived he would have known it was their backdoor and just tried to see if he could get in?
omg that Tony is one serious pyscho! but one seriously hot one though! :p

OMG, didnt take tony long did it, he left whitneys room then he was talking to lauren calling her lost - exactly how he said whitney looked when he first met her

i agree it must be the house of snooze there zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
omg that Tony is one serious pyscho! but one seriously hot one though! :p
I don't find him hot at all but a fantastic actor as he actually makes my skin crawl the way he was with Lauren. Brilliant acting from both himself and Whitney.. Well done EE for doing this story line :clap::clap:
is anyone bored of Tanya and Jack? they dont interest me as a couple at all
Yes they are a terrible couple
OMG Tony is so psycho now finding his next target in Lauren
When did Danielle become the Vic's cleaner?
Is Pat wising up to Tony :hmm:

When did Danielle become the Vic's cleaner?
Is Pat wising up to Tony :hmm:
Callum overheard that the Vic needed a new cleaner and told Danielle about the job as she needs money for a rail ticket to see her dad. Happened last week. I believe that Pat has a feeling that Tony is not good news, Bianca is still wearing rose coloured specs where that fella is concerned. He gives me the creeps, that is for sure. :thumbsdow

Did Ronnie kinda tell or imply to Christian about being pregnant when she was younger?
So we see alot more scenes of Ronnie and Danielle i wonder why :hmm:

She implied it with her body language. The way she just avoided his eyes, got up and left.

Ronnie and Christian where good together. They have something going there. If they were to be friends it makes her look happier.
Max is such a sleaze poor Peter. He is very good in manipulating weaker people.
Feeling very sorry for Whitney and Bianca. They where having a good relationship. Or was that due to Tony?
Question: Has Patrik gone aswell as Yolande?
Question: Has Patrik gone aswell as Yolande?
He will not go with her. She is off alone.

Because he changes his mind later on, and remains in Walford.

Ive just watched the omnibus and I can't believe the way Bianca was being with Whitney, shouting her head off and kicking the door in (its not even her door to kick in!) stupid cow she went totally overboard!

Archie is so sick. Yuck. What is Suzy playing around with?
Poor, poor Whitney Bianca is really stupid. Now Tony will stop her from seeing a psychiatrist. Oh and when was the new GP introduced?
tammyy2j
07-10-2008, 10:29
When did the new GP (ladybird head  ) arrive?
OMG Suzy/Archie :thumbsdow
So Ronnie's letter to Joel got posted? :hmm:

I didn't think of that..but I think your right. I just thought she would have taken into account that she was with Phil and consider his feelings.

What's the hell with Keith and I can't remember her name being back together!! Is that just me or is that really stupid :S I know we don't see it but still!!
I feel SOOOOOOOOOOOo sorry for Whitney. Everytime Tony is on I just want to throw some large object that would hurt him! He's so evil!
His wife's name is Rosie, nice that they make a reference to other members of the family, even if they no longer appear in the storylines. :)

shona is playing a great part as the tortured teen
It was good seeing Jay back
Dawn or the actress that plays her cannot act to save her life she is terrible i feel no sympathy whatsoever for the character of Dawn.
What didnt Jay's grandfather Bert return or even Dawn's real brother Mickey for the funeral. Mickey was good friends with Jase. I thought more people from the Square like Mrs Holy Joe herself Dot would go to the funeral.
Archie/Peggy terrible pairing Archie has more chemistry with Suzy
RIP Jase
OMG... how sad was it last night.. I cried my eyes out with Jay and then Billy reading...
Then I had to laugh at the two battleaxes (pat and peggy) trying to ignore each other :lol:
Does anyone else think there's something not quite right with Christian's new boyfriend? He looks a bit shifty to me.
He certainly does look shifty, you are right. But then there would be no point in introducing a new character if he was just a regular guy who likes Christian, does not happen in soapland. :)

i think there has to be a connection with his ex-best friend Joel (aka the father of Ronni's baby).
Definitely, has to be. Too much of a coincidence them meeting without a link to Joel.

I so wanted Archie to get caught
I think Dawn should leave there is nothing for her now in the Square and Garry is an idiot :thumbsdow
Garry really is an idiot.
I agree with Tony, i wnat to knock him out when he comes on screen he isso sinister he is doing a great job. Real good actor in my opinion, when you really hate the character,.

Well they have built it up nicely. Archie playing his granddaughter even if he didn't know against Ronnie. Now nothing stands in the way of revealing his bad nature. Even the Peggy/ Suzy story is fitting in nicely.

12-10-2008, 14:11
big christmas storyline????
i can see the wedding - peggy in a bearskin hat- the those white fluffy things and mother and daughter (ronne and danielle/amy ) uniting to save auntie peg!!!!
Why do you think Archie is manipulating Peggy though? An old family feud/grudge that he feels still needs settling? He doesn't genuinely love her and want to marry her that's for sure.

i have a question: was it just me or did the pic of ronnie in danielles locket look older than a girl of 14? cos if it was of an older ronnie (say 20ish) wouldnt that mean someone had been keeping in touch with danielles adopted parents, maybe archie?
i have a question: was it just me or did the pic of ronnie in danielles locket look older than a girl of 14? cos if it was of an older ronnie (say 20ish) wouldnt that mean someone had been keeping in touch with danielles adopted parents, maybe archie?
Yes the picture definately wasn't of a 14 year old Ronnie.
Archie wouldn't tell her adoptive parents that Ronnie was living in Walford though surely as he wouldn't want the two of them to meet up. So how did Danielle just happen to turn up in the right place? Archie didn't want Ronnie going to the school reunion or to read that letter from Joel - why? Does Joel know the truth about Danielle?
It's all a bit confusing to me but I think Roxy may have something to do with it all!
tammyy2j
13-10-2008, 11:27
So Danielle knows Ronnie is her mother ???????
So Danielle knows Ronnie is her mother ???????
She should do, if she can't tell from the photograph in her locket that Ronnie is that person, she must be very stupid. Unless she thinks the person in that photo is somebody other than her mother? :hmm:
samantha nixon
13-10-2008, 23:53
yh she does know she is her mum, which is why she is so upset about the way that ronnie is treating her
and about the picture being an older ronnie, which it is, as it certainly isnt a pic of sam when she was 14, its more recent than that, its on the net somewhere aswell, i dont think that means that someone has been in touch with her, i think its just they didnt put a younger pic of her, maybe so that viewers would recognise that it was ronnie, and so that it is more obvious why danielle would recognise her, as if they actually had one of ronnie at 14, she probably wouldnt be recogniseable (not that sams changed much lol) so people would wonder how can danielle tell from the pic
also danielles adopted mother died, which is why danielle then started looking for ronnie, though the adoption agency and had found out that ronnie had been looking for her, which im guessing they then told her where ronnie is
i also dont think joel knows anything to do with ronnie, as when lee was talking to them he still thought that ronnie had the kid with her
and i dont think ronnie knows anything, as if she did, would she still think the same of archie
this is answers to joannes post by the way, but i forgot to quote lol
sindydoll
14-10-2008, 09:17
and i think archie knows too because he said to danielle in the club who's been a naughty girl
Poor Ronnie and also poor Danielle
I think Danielle came to Walford to get to know her birth mother and its not working out good for her. Stacey isnt helping much and she can be a right cow sometimes
I must prefer Ronnie/Jack than Tanya/Jack
I think Tanya is wrong for selling the house and moving to France to have a peaceful life with her fella, her kids should be her top priority. She should tell them and also her ex Max. The writers are ruining Tanya's character.
I kinda felt that Jack was happy the sold sign was gone up.
BTW are Tanya and Max divorced yet?
Jack still has feelings for Ronnie
I'm liking the relationship between Billy and Jay
Roxy was funny

Tanya and Max are not divorced yet. I imagine with three kids, it should be a while before any decree is issued as I would think that Max will want at least shared custody, if not total custody of the children.
It is nice to see the relationship between Billy and Jay, I just hope that the scriptwriters leave them be this way.

Not much chance of that I should think. This is Eastenders we're talking about!
Yeah, I know and I doubt it myself, it is just that we have seen nearly all couples in EE split up recently, just for once I would like to see a little happiness. :(

i liked yesterdays ep, i thoguht it was quite good, i loved the ronnie and jack stuff, and the slaters stuff with danielle, and ronnie/roxy/archie stuff
I can't beleive that Archie could be so evil to his own Daughter and I'm wondering if his wife had an affair and Ronnie isn't actually his child which is why he's being so awful (just a thought), I feel really sorry for Danielle and Ronnie, I hope that they don't make them fall out so much that it will be difficult for them to have some kind of relationship......
Are Jack and Tanya really leaving for France? I can't remember seeing anything out their exits

I dont think that is why he is horrable to ronnie, i think he is horrable because of her past, I think she was his favourite and then she got mixed into the wrong crowd, and met joel, had her baby then her dad didnt like the fact that she didnt obey everything he wanted her to do, and she grew up, so as she hurt him, i think he now wants to hurt him
and no they arent leaving for france

i dont think archie knows yet that danielle is ronnies daughter, not as far as we know anyway. if he does know we havent been told yet
Is Tanya becoming the new Pauline Fowler? All she has done this week is moan and nag and whinge. And, she always thinks she is right and never meets anyone halfway. Abbie won't realise that Tanya didn't tell Max about their move to France because "she will see it's for the best" - she'll just see that her Mum has lied to her - again and broken a promise to her - again.
Tanya is quickly becoming one of my worst characters in EE. Would Jack really put up with all this rubbish, especially as he now has Ronnie all over him again?
samantha nixon
17-10-2008, 23:39
Would Jack really put up with all this rubbish, especially as he now has Ronnie all over him again?
Yh but, I think the only reason he puts up with tanya is because he has one over on his brother, he has got max's family, I dont think he loves tanya, i think its just convenient for him, and by getting tanya to move he gets to take the kids away from max, gets to ruin any chance that they have as a family and he gets to be near to his daughter which is what he wants
OMG how harsh was Jane about Ian? I'd have divorced the bitch after that!

I dont tend to complain about things but i felt uncomofrtable hearing such smut before the watershed.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not usually bothered by stuff like that, a lot of my humour is dirty, but to hear it on a primetime show before the watershed i thought was inappropriate.

So how would you like to hear your partner talking about you in the way Jane did about Ian to an audience? Would that be ok with you?
But in a stand-up comedy club, that is what you get and should expect. Les Dawson is famous for him mother-in-law jokes which were not complimentary in any way, I doubt his mother-in-law gave him a hard time.

I think Ronnie is right Jack doesnt love Tanya only using her to annoy Max
Jack is better suited to Ronnie and Max to Tanya
Max did the right thing trying to find Rainie for Tanya
I completely forgot about Billy beating Jamie he was an awful then but he was such a god dad to Janet and William and now again he nearly hit Jay. I can understand Jay's hatred of Dawn he is blaming her for his dad's death but he needs help more than Billy can give him.

I dont tend to complain about things but i felt uncomofrtable hearing such smut before the watershed.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not usually bothered by stuff like that, a lot of my humour is dirty, but to hear it on a primetime show before the watershed i thought was inappropriate.
There just wasn't a need for it, I felt :searchme:

I found nothing offensive in her sketch, I have heard much worse and it was in jest, I don't think she believes Ian is actually like that. It is just Ian's reaction that scared me. What Jane said was in humour, was Ian did had a hint of Malice

I'm intrigued with Peggy's sausage rolls! Presumably she was cooking them for the Vic's Halloween party. How many were there? No more than 20 odd, hardly a feast for a heaving pub! Also, how long does it take for her to whip up a batch? She said she couldn't cook some more and walk to a local shop to pick up some fancy dress outfits! Barmy!!

Exactly JustJodi. He was charged with the attempted murder of Max. I can't understand how some people could have watched this episode and not known that was what happened! That was the whole point of it all.
If it had been in the Bill, there would have been two round the back and two at the front door - none of this armed police routine and helicopters. Totally over the top.
Ah but all the EE actors have gone to the bill now so they only have SWAT team left...
It is possible that Max told them his still has the gun and his wife and kids are in the house too... Wouldn't swat team be called if they felt it might turn into a hostage situation?

Did Stacey mention Callum's name at all when speaking to Bradley thinking he was Callum if so i felt sorry for him
NO, she said she wanted to give it an other try but she never mentioned a name at all
What a terrific episode. We have slowly witnessed Max go from cocky so and so, when he was having the affair with Stacey and thought he was untouchable, to what we witnessed tonight - a pathetic, wreck of a man who has reached rock bottom.
I was on his side completely - I really didn't like Jack tonight. I don't know why he is leaving with Tanya, I don't believe that he is doing it for love, it's obvious that he still has very strong feelings for Ronnie. But then I think Tanya still has feelings for Max too.
No idea who was in the car at the end - the last we saw of Jack and Tanya they were in the house argueing weren't they? Bradley is the most obvious but I don't think it will end up being him.
A really gripping episode - 10 out of 10 to Jake Wood.

These comments above show what a great actor Jake Wood must be. How can anyone forgive what Max has done, not just in the last few months, but throughout his marriage to Tanya? Max is a slime ball and always has been, always will be imo. But it's easy to see how he can keep taking Tanya in.
Why did Max leave Abbie in his house while he went to fetch Tanya to take Abbie home? Why did he not take Abbie with him? Also, whoever it was who drove the car how did they know Max was going to walk from his house to Tanya's at that moment? It couldn't have been pre-planned and it all happened too quickly for someone to have made up their mind to get in the car and try and run him over...:hmm:
but this is not the first time we have seen evil Jack.. he did something similar to Roxy...
I feel sorry for Ronnie in all this, losing Jack and having her dad go at her all the time...

I thought that was just to get the viewers to have more sympathy with Max, since all the trick or treaters were turning up on his doorstep and he was in no mood for them when his wife and kids were scheduled to be leaving the country with his brother that evening.
I thought he would've phoned Tanya myself; it would've given him more time to say bye to Abi while Tanya was making her way over to collect her.

then why was Tanya apologising to Lauren then? Why would she be sorry that Lauren had done it?
CrazyLea
10-11-2008, 20:40
Yeah, I think Tanya is covering for Lauren.
1. Too quick for the truth to come out - it's a soap after all!
2. Too obvious to be Tanya.
3. If it was Tanya, wouldn't Lauren have been slightly angry? Sure she isn't Max's biggest fan at the moment. But if her own mother had tried to kill her father, surely there would be some kind of angry emotion?
*-Rooney-*
10-11-2008, 20:43
then why was Tanya apologising to Lauren then? Why would she be sorry that Lauren had done it?
maybe she was apologising that it had all come to this, or that she was going to hand herself in i dont know ive just felt from the start it was lauren
yeah but when her and Lauren were alone and talking about it Tanya was saying "i'm so sorry" why would she say that if it was Lauren and not her???

so have i, but that one line makes me think it wasn't lauren, if it turns out it was lauren then that's poor scriptwriting
CrazyLea
10-11-2008, 20:45
Yeah I think same as Rooney.
I think it was more of a... "I'm so sorry it's come to this. What have I done to you." Because if you think about it, all the arguments between Max and Tanya would have caused it. Caused Lauren to hate Max etc.. or a
"Sorry I'm going to have to leave you while you're left here feeling guilty, etc.. but I've got to do it, got to protext you".. sort of thing
My opinion anyway.
CrazyLea
10-11-2008, 20:46
Not really poor scriptwriting. If it does turn out to be Lauren, then I think it's clever. It's been put in to make the viewer think exactly what you're thinking. I think I'll be more disappointed if it turns out to actually be Tanya.

it's not clever, its an insult to the viewers if it's done badly, which i have a feeling that was if it's anyone other than Tanya. In the context of that scene there was only one was she could have meant it. ah i'm probs looking into it too much, but that's my job as a screenwriter to look these things over like this.

I don't think it's an insult. It's inviting viewers to think deeper. Read between the lines. Think outside the box. This isn't a show for children after all. There is more than one meaning to what Tanya said - and the tone in which she said it.

I agree I thought it was quite clever
I mean I dont what to go off topic here but if you look at lost which they film scenes in many different tones as we never know the full picture and the way things are said can mean many different things since we dont know everything about their past and at the time the future is unclear
It could be someone else the way it was done otherwise there was no point in doing it that way
Yeah I think same as Rooney.
I agree cos afterall lauren doesnt want to lie, she wants to tell the truth cos she cant cope with it. But in order to protect her, lauren is still gonna have to keep it to herself

I would agree with the poor scriptwriting line if it turns out to be Lauren...unless the scriptwriters can come up with a convincing story about how Lauren learned to drive like that.
I thought it was Lauren and Tanya covering but why? Surely Lauren would have a better chance of getting away with it and Tanya wouldn't lose the kids... I reckon is it as it is... Tanya did it.. they did say we would find out yesterday.. I don't think they would have a Lauren twist in it... she herself said that secrets catch up with you so she would have come clean

thought we were going to FIND OUT who did it.. it was sorta of vague,, Lauren never said SHE ACTUALLY DID IT,, Tanya never said she was caught doing it ,,its driving me nuts.
She must have told Jack, and Jack was trying to talk her out of doing what ever it was she was going to FESS up to the cops,,another thing folks,, CAN TANYA DRIVE ???? Never saw her do it
Lauren said it was her fault for showing the video.. she would have come forward...I stil think it is Tanya.. she has tried to kill him before... Lauren wouldn't be able to drive like that and if it was anyone else why would tanya risk losing her kids? Why would Abi be upset if it was anyone else?

WTF who is the actual culprit? Is is really Tanya and what did Lauren say?
What a crap episode
Could Suzy be more bloody annoying :thumbsdow
Lauren by her actions seems to be the culprit and Tanya is covering for her
Abi really is a Daddy's little girl she is only worried about him and not her mother who is in jail
So it wooden spoons at dawn for Suzy and Shirley (for sexy beast "coughs" fat baldie beast Phil) as they bake a cake for little specky Ben
Stacey the witness !
I think that stacey's taking the Tanya confession as a way to protect Bradley.....

Jack seems to have verrrrrry deep pockets,, where is all his moola coming from, I knew he was a bent copper, so I presume hes got one hell of a pile of moola stashed away some where???Or I guess the EE Blackhole bank extends to the Branning Brothers too :hmm: :rotfl:
I am so bored with Suzy,,I think Phil would be so much better off with Shirley,,I was waiting for Sean to take pop at old manipulative Archie,, I am surprised he hasn't already ( are they making Sean an old softie before he leaves ???? )
I loved what Bradley said about his feelings for Max,(I think Charlie Clements has come a long way since they called him the Ginger Ninja:ninja: )
Funny thing I had not even thought that Stacey would be a witness,,I sure did not see that one coming:searchme:
Massood,, I sure hope he did not ask his older brother for money,,,,,,,,,

although they havent said that stacey witnessed tanya driving the car they said that stacey saw the car hit max, the same way that abi saw the car but not the driver.

yes remember when she burried Max earlier in the year with Sean then drove back later to rescue him, then drove him back to the square ;)
I think she used to drive her own car when they first arrived in Walford.
I was sure that they were going to say Lauren was the witness, was shocked it was Stacey.. would explain why she was looking all suss!!

Could this storyline get anymore confusing
Everyone is looking and acting guilty
Who do you think Masood phoned to get the money for the new business? Could it be his brother Inzamam Ahmed, who gave Zainab such a hard time earlier this year? :hmm:

It could be him or their son i think
You mean the one we have yet to meet? Could be, you are right.
What did the cake look like that Jane's mum made lol. Not enough ended up in Ian's face though  Me thinks there will be a catering war in Walford. Bring it on, the Masoods. :cheer:

Christian and his mum seemed strangely alike in today's episode, maybe that's why they don't get on!

no me neither, no matter how much you dont think a guy is right for your daughter, you shouldnt go out of your way like he does to keep them appart when they love each other and as far as every one is concerned sean is the father of the baby.
Archie's definately a control freak. He wants complete control over his daughters but Ronnie is wise to him and he controls Peggy. I thought Phil was getting wise to him over his dad's boxing trophy being a fake but he seems to have swallowed Archie's rubbish explanation and now thinks he's the bees knees again.
I like the fact that this is a slow burner - I'm looking forward to seeing this story unravel and find out exactly what Archie is up to. I certainly don't believe he is now resident at the Vic because he is in love with Peggy.

are you suggesting he might marry Peggy and somehow get control of the Vic? i do like the slow burner thing too. when he first came in i was wary of how much Ronnie hated him but its very interesting to see how things develop. oooh, i know who will see through him- Janine!

In true Eastenders tradition, Archie is bound to get his come-uppance one day. Any thoughts as to how this might happen?
I can imagine that Sean might open everybody's eyes to what Archie is really like before he leaves.

I'm not suggesting anything - I don't know how this is going to pan out! My personal theory is that there is something in the past between Archie and Phil's Dad which Archie is still bitter about and he wants to destroy the Mitchells. I'm probably way off beat though!
Joanne, I think you have a point.. he doesn't want Peggy.. he just wants to destroy the family so hooks up with peggy and gets his feet under the table..
It certainly looks like it at the moment, but would that not be too obvious? I like to think that there is more to it than just destroying the Mitchell family. But I might be wrong. :searchme:

Christian and Jane's mother looking to get laid
Jack was cruel to Stacey pretending Max was dead but i think from her reaction she seems to think it Bradley and is covering for him maybe i also dont think she has feelings anymore for Max
Archie is baddie

Im looking forward to the truth about danielle coming out, that should make a few people question archie, i.e why would any father break a daughters heart by telling them that their baby has died and he even attended the funeral. roxy will have something to say as she has saw what heartache losing her baby has caused ronnie all these years, and peggy was warned about him she might actually start to question him.
I really cant stand Archie!! I just want to get his scenes over and done with whenever hes on
I really like sean now, I mean after all hes dealing with archie!

it's quite good fun how they've made us feel sorry for Sean now. he is a rather complex character.
