The camera angles when Stacy was walking were emphasizing that she wouldn't walk on the cracks/lines in the pavement.

It is compulsive making sure she steps on the right stones in line.
Lacey and Gillian are doing a fab job. Hope they continue with this great storyline.

ee has been good recently. i liked last weeks epi (cant remember which one) where phil asked if anyone wanted to buy his share of the vic for a fiver and ian was frantically looking for money lol!

^That scene reminded me of when Phil sold the Vic to Dan, when he relapsed years ago and was in a drunken state, he sold it for a Fiver, you would think he would at least ask for £20 he can get some serious ale at the offy for that. lol!!! But that just shows typical Beale, has to be there even if no-one is being serious.:hmm:

He split with Tanya cause of too much baggage and I think he is probably one of the hottest guys in EE in a long time
So have you moved on from Mr Sawyer ? Can we look forward to a new avatar? :D

I cant see the attraction in the doc at all - Sawyer yes!

Sawyer needs to join 24 as a baddie against Jack Bauer. I'd love to see them kick each other's butt.

I think he's cute more than good-looking. And IMO Syed is better looking than the doctor :D
I agree with you, I think Syed is better looking than the doctor too. :)

Syed is rather nice :D
Tonight was boring, the Nick/Billy thing is getting tedious :thumbsdow It looks like Dotty is starting to feel guilty though

Yes i agree on Syed he is easy on the eye.
I really hope this Nick/Dot storyline ends soon.

Hi folks I am totally sick of this Nick/Dot/Dottie story line, but does it seem to U guys that Dottie has " gone soft ".. I am also SICK and tired of Nick and Billy, this story line is so boring...
It is interesting to see Jean and Stacey.. I think Sean needs to come back and shake her up a bit.. loosing her brother and Danielle must have triggered her bi polar disorder..
Billy will never ever learn,,,some times it is best to fess up !!!!!!!! Aggraviation money now,, geeze Nick really knows when to push Billy's buttons,,and Billy is too damn weak ...
Syd and Bradley,,,,,, interesting,,,,now he knows about her son,, how will he react ?? :hmm:

I hope the writers keep Phil drunk - he is so much a better character then and funny
OMG i really hope Billy or Phil kill Nick he was horrible tonight
Yes i agree with previous poster that Dotty seems to be going soft
I hope storyline ends soon
Why so much of annoying Chelesa and Libby lately :thumbsdow

Mongol not mongrel...which is even worse!
There should not be any complaints as Nick was very quickly put in his place about the comment, thus showing that his comment was totally unacceptable.

thanks, i thought he said mongrel as well
Whatever he said, it was unacceptable. But in this instance he was told what the correct terminology would have been, only a total d***head would not take note
Again Nick and Dotty get away with it

I haven't watched any of EE since Nick's return but he was my favourite in the early EE days. Can I ask do you think it was a huge mistake in brining back Nick because the feeling I get from reading comments about him and Dotty most of them have been negative.
angel_eyes87
22-05-2009, 23:26
^Totally agree about them bringing back Nick, what was the point, they only brought him back because June Brown said she wanted some of her family around her, which is a joke because the square is full of her family, Hello the Brannings live a few doors down.
I have only watched the episode with Stacey in them, as I loved her when she first came in, but they destroyed her character when she had the affair, then she went downhill, but I am looking forward to the rest of the Bi-Polar storyline, I want to know how they will portray this.

I don't have a problem with soaps bringing back old characters but the writers have to have decent and believeable storylines to introduce them back into the programme. The mature members of this forum will rememeber the early days of EE when Nick ruled the square and everyone was terrified of him. There was no way a Mitchell or anyone else would stand up to him and that is what the viewers loved to hate about John Altman, he didn't have to say anything a glare was enough to have Iain Beale wet his pants.
Yet now they have stupid storylines were Phil and Billy get the better of him. The writers are having a laugh go back twenty years and Nick could make phil and Billy poo their pants just by being in the same room as him.
My gripe with the writers of soaps are that if they are going to bring back old characters to boost viewing figures then give the actors/actresses decent storylines to work with and not disney fairytales.

just a question?
have the writers forgotten heathers pregnant, and we have a whos the daddy storyline because it seems like it?, there has been no mention of it and she hasnt broken the news to anyone yet

That is because the researchers who lurk around the net looking for stories haven't discovered my theory that Phil is the father of baby Pickle. If they were only to ask me to share my knowledge and over-excited imagination I would share my ideas for payment in fredon bars, drumstick lollypops or irm bru

Jay and Dawn were right to be angry at coward Billy and then he painted Nick as a hero friend

yawn, bored of Billy and his loser storylines. very repetitive
StarsOfCCTV
23-05-2009, 17:34
Agreed.
And Nick and Dotty the pantomime villains is getting boring too.
I'm looking forward to more Stacey though, that is a good storyline.
angel_eyes87
23-05-2009, 17:40
The Stacey storyline seems to be the only thing that makes me want to watch, I don't know what has happened but it seems as if Eastenders has got Emmerdales old writers/producers to write some of the panto going on recently:lol: , I mean how many times can Nick keep trying to murder his Mum, its so unrealistic I stopped watching the show because of his storyline.
Staceys story will make it viewable for the upcoming months.

23-05-2009, 18:55
yeh the stacey storyline seems good. i can understand why dawn and jay were angry with billy cos they were upset, but i cant believe the way everyone else in the vic treated billy, most of them would have done the same as him, which i believe given the situation was the right thing to do
angel_eyes87
23-05-2009, 19:20
I agree with Dawn and Jay treating Billy like that aswell.
No-one can judge the situation until they are in that predicament, I bet half have them would have done the same as Billy and hid.

Kath,
Kim will not watch EE since Nick has come back to roost,, and yes it is very very negative and not nice to watch ..
I do hope the end of this story line is coming soon cos really it is gut wrenching

Nicks story ends next week when
The cafe goes on fire
Chloe O'brien
25-05-2009, 23:57
Yeah but how long will it be before the writers think of another hair brain idea to bring back and old character to boost their viewing figures, because IMO this bringing back old faces is just a cop out. The writers are just being heart lazy in trying to create new interesting plots that they would rather bring back an old favourite and recycle and old plot.
It's no secret that I'm not the biggest soap fan and this is why we pay a bloody lot for a tv licence the least the beeb can do is give us our money's worth. EE only won the awards this year down to returning stars and soon Sam Mitchell will be back in the sqaure. How long will it be before she seduces Ricky back into bed and her and Bianca are scrapping on the street. Also now Don't forget the Lyrics has been cancelled by Sky1 Shane Ritchie will be out of a job again. Guess what I have an idea let's bring him back to the square and give him a job in the vic then he can have an affair with Stacey cause we all no how he loves the slater girls.
Okay rant over for a while.

Anything is possible on the characters returning in Eastenders, I mean who would have thought that another mitchell would return, especially Sam:confused:
Shane Richie made it obvious at the Soap Awards, when he presented that he loved Eastenders and would love to go back by bigging it up.
Plus I want to know what stories they will develop/hash together if they bring back old characters, as it is the 25th Anniversary of the show, it better be a great year and not a bad year.

I think it's realistic when old characters are brought back. Good to have Bianca, Ricky and Janine back, and Bianca's family are great. :)

it was! i wasnt sure whether to laugh or be embarrassed for him lol!
I think Billy is being quite brave, calling the police before going to try to save Jay, I hope that this will change the way he is being regarded by the other residents of Albert Square since they found out what really happened when Jase died. He really cares for Jay and it would be nice if this was being recognised for a change.
Totally agree.. Billy knows he let Jase down.. but he did have his kids and wife to think off but by letting Jase down, he lost everything.. this is his way to make things up.. Save Jay, face the bullies and I too hope he is recognised for it

I got a feeling they won't even be in there?..
OMG LOL Ben's dancing. They must pay that kid alot.....
The Dot/Nick/MiniDot storyline reeks. Its so bad its embarassing. Nick is an embarassing character and belongs in the local panto.
One thing actors should improve on (in most tv shows and movies too) is to have problems speaking when they have been duffed up and had their face re-arranged. Billy looks very sore in the face but has no swellings and can speak clearly.
