Lol join the club, Abbie. The computers have lost another part of my business coursework and I only had to repeat a bit of it last week. I spent like 2 hours on the bit that has gone missing.

I have Media and History coursework for the holidays and English Literature work to do. Finished writing my load of rubbish on my Maths homework. That teacher is driving me up the wall.

I've been naughty and eaten half an easter egg today. It was only one of those £1.99 ones, but easter is 2 weekends away.

I never knew trying to get your mate round your house was so much hassle before.

Its alwoays the embarrasing ones that end up in the paper, i remember i was a tootbrush on the front page years ago when they were advertising a show. Its so embarrasing.

I have a busy week as well, lots of revision and coursework todo plus more time on the internet as mum and my sister are both at catholic schools so they work holy week, so i get the house to my self first week of the holiday.

Lots of coursework corrections o do as welll. Not been on here in ages as i have been permanently in the library trying to meet deadlines.

Just got in from the pub. I was happily watching EastEnders when my Dad rang and said to take one of the dogs up there. When I was nearly there, he rang again, asked where I was, because he wanted his darts brought up. Got in the pub, 10 minutes later he's out of fags and tells me to go and get him some, so I said that the shop wouldn't sell them to me, then he sends me home for them, telling me to get the darts whilst I'm there. I now refuse to do invoicing.

I nearly beat him at darts! I couldn't believe it, I probably haven't spent an hour throwing darts in my life and I was so close. I got treble twenty lol.

Then we went to the chippy and I had to stand outside with the dog freezing, and that's with my Dad's jacket on. They took ages.

I've had a good day, but i did kinda get carried away over my local shopping mall! My dad is gonna hit the roof when he gets his credit card bill...i spent £200 on my prom suit! :o

Kim
03-04-2007, 18:18
My mum will kill me next year if I spend even half of that, mostly because my dad would kill her for letting me spend that much. How it could mount up to that though, I don't know.

Hide the bill, pray your dad has the card payed on direct debit, and pray he doesn't check his bank statements! lol

P.S. PB, do you think he got it custom designed with the millets logo on?

P.S. PB, do you think he got it custom designed with the millets logo on?

It would have been considerably cheaper if he had got his entire outfit from Millets.....waterproofs and fleeses might not be totally appropriate for a prom, but it might have been kinder on daddy's credit card!!!

Aw...bless ya David....at least you can use that suit if you ever have to make an appearance in court!

You'll have to post a pic in your prom gear, Davey, I bet you look very smart. :D

Its not often i have a huge rant about something which has happened, but this really annnoyed me!!

Yesterday, i was doing some work in the spare room, which is at the front of the house. Everywhere was quiet, and suddenly i heard a tiny crack/bang on the wall. So i stopped, and listened. And sure enough, it happened again. I then heard something against the window. So i stood up, and looked out, and saw some little year 9's outside my house. One of the boys got some stones from a neighbours drive, and was throwing them at cars on the other side of my road. He then turned, and started throwing them at mine and my neighbours house.

So i stormed out there and said "Do you mind throwing stones at my windows?!". He looked a bit shocked that i was there, and said "I didn't mean to throw them at your windows, i was aiming for your wall". So i said "Is throwing them at the walls of my house seriously any better than throwing them at my windows!?". And then i basically told them to **** off from my street (In nicer terms, obviously!)

What is with that though?! I wouldn't dream of doing anything like that now, let alone when i was 14 or something!

Kim
03-04-2007, 23:33
What immature people. How can you mean to hit a wall and hit windows?! Hit the bricks on the front of the house, maybe. I'm sure they wouldn't like it if it were their heads instead. They could get done for that. Good job you told them to sling it though, it should teach them not to come back.

blimey thats a bit harsh, Its like when people play football on thr road yet theres a park about a metre up the road. I dont get it. I think if there were caught doing that up here theyd get an ASBO. It werent too long ago when a 3 year old was on the pavement in a City strip kicking a ball about and he was given an ASBO for bad behaviour. THat makes me mad. THe poilce give ASBOs out to little kids yet theres 3 shootings on one night and they cant find the killer.

Its a good job you told them Ab, i dont think id have had the botle.

Argh! The flush was wet last night, so I went to flush the toilet and my hand slipped straight off and hit the cistern, hard, and now I have a red mark above one of the bones in my wrist.

For some reason I'm dreading going back to school already, and now I've made myself feel sick.

the past week has been a blur, i can't believe nearly a week has gone by. i'm exhausted and i'm going to wales tomorrow, which should be fun. just i need to sleep so i'm in a good mood cos this week i've not been the nicest person to be around. i think part of the problem is me and my mum are both geminis!
this morning i went to manchester and we saw the queen, we had to wait for ages but what annoyed me was as soon as she appeared everyone surged forwards and my sister nearly got pushed off this wall outside the cathedral, even though people were saying stop pushing because we're all going to fall through the barriers! now i got to pack and take the cat to the cattery. hopefully i will be able to communicate with my friend aswell as she only reads the last comment left on myspace and none before :( so she didn't get mine. oh well.

Neither do me and coursework. I've got storyboarding and analysing tomorrow, I'm having a bit of a party on Saturday, then more analysing on Sunday, then I have to do 2 History essays that are part of my coursework. Joy. I wish we could just have a half term without any work.

Today I am prepping for my job interview at 2.30 - fingers crossed! Its at a nursing home and they have really high care standards there so if I get the job I will really enjoy it.

To all of you that have coursework to do, make sure it gets done, but also make sure you find time to relax and have fun - school is pressured enough these days without kids forgetting how to have fun - My neice asked me for help the other day - I was completely out of my depth - yet to other adults when they say what GCSE's do you have and I say I've got 15 - they think Im an academic - nothing could be further from the truth! I loved my school days, but really dont know if I would enjoy it as much these days.

So keep working hard - it will be worth it in the end!:)

Well yesterday I was busy at school and I finally got ICT working :D So i was very happy with that, then I went to dancing for 5 hours and when I got back I had half an hour to wash and dry my hair and get ready to go out. All of which I did. I then went out and kinda got drunk and im still recovering the only thing is im going to another party tonight.

Woah that sounds kinda scary, have you turned it off now?

Kim
06-04-2007, 17:05
Yeah, I turned it off, then it was still smelling for about half an hour afterwards. I don't get it - my parents have a TV older than mine but it's never done that.

I've had a good few days. Last night, i slept over my mates house, i ended up sleeping on the sofa and didn't get hardly any sleep so i am absolutely exhausted tonight and i have really sore eyes from lack of sleep! Today, i went to the cinema and watched 300. I'm not a massive fan of war films, and in fact, don't like them, but i must admit this film was ok, i could tolerate the fight scenes as they had so much action in them!

I'd get rid of it, if i were you. We had a TV that started doing that, and didn't think anything of it. Then a few days later, it went bang, and there was flames and everything coming out of it. Quite funny, but pretty dangerous. Luckily it was in our front room, so there wasn't any clutter around it which could catch alight. If it was in a bedroom, then it might have been different.

Kim
06-04-2007, 23:30
Thanks for that - my mate was going to force me to turn it on to watch movies when she comes over, but now I'll refuse. My parents can just put the TV that's sat on the landing in my room, there's might be older, but at least it hasn't done that.

I haven't done much today - just been catching up with the soaps, had my nan and auntie over for dinner, and i've been pigging out on Easter eggs. :D

Kim
09-04-2007, 00:06
All I've eaten today is 2 cheese straws and chocolate, because I didn't want to risk going downstairs. The radiator chose today to mess up, so me and my mate are in the frame for that when we didn't go anywhere near it. I'm starving though as I started to feel sick eating too much chocolate.

I wouldn't want to be in your shoes, Carly, when the phone bill comes, or Adam's, if he phoned you. My parents went mad at me when I was on the phone for an hour and a half, even though the first hour was free, lol.

Happy birthday Abi from Saturday. It was my cousins 21st on Saturday as well and my other cousins 23rd on the friday before so i have been away all weekend celebrating with them. bit of a heavy weekend so still very tired. We had a party till 1 on sunday morning then went into town, although, jakey and another of my cousins friends were in the wrong shoes so didnt get in anywhere. It was a grest laugh though. Feeling a tad worse for wear though but it was worth it.

Didnt get many easter eggs which is good as usually i feel so sick, plus only having the two small ones make them taste nicer.

Had a lovely walk in the pentland hills, looked at houses in Balerno (I am hoping to move soon).

Cooked dinner with my husband and talked with my kids - they are off to the pictures- but I don't want to watch Mr Bean - and you can't make me, lol:p

We went walking yesterday, just through the park round the lake, down the hill (which was a bad idea as i forgot once down, you have to walk back up it) but it was nice all the same. Kind of a bank holiday tradition. Technically the holidays over now, so its time to revise, but im holding off for a few more hours, I think 1 i may start.

And Man City won, so thats always a brighten up my day.

And i finished my coursework, so thats one less thing to do.

No - I love my reality really Trinity - I would honestly say, I wouldn't change a single thing about my life. I have my perfect boys, my wonderful marriage, a fantastic job and my health. What more could I ask for :)

I've started working backwards - did you know I was 29 yesterday really :rotfl:

Although, I apparently don't look my age, and I don't think I act it either - I enjoy life too much to worry about it tbh. Your number isn't THAT big, and you look fantastic aswell.

I think it is lovely to be happy with life.
I am too, in many ways I think that life actually gets better as you get older. I am more contented and relaxed at 42 than I was at 22, numbers mean nothing.

Glad you had a good birthday Ems. :) I've had a good day, i went to the cinema with some mates to watch Mr Bean's Holiday, it was really funny, and i really enjoyed it! :) Then we went to Pizza Hut and bought a large Marguerita pizza. The bus journey back was a nightmare though, the bus was overcrowded, it was boiling hot and there was lots of traffic. It usually takes me 25 minutes to get back, but it took me 50 minutes today!

Always good to have a good, relaxing birthday :D :D.

Most of my day has been good. I'm just reallly a little annoyed..
Reason being.. At work, there's this girl, she's cool I guess, rather eccentric lol, but she's soooo patronising, and tries to tell me what to do. It's not like I don't know what to do lol. I'm about to do something in a min or something, then before I get the chance she's like.. "This goes here." "Do this." "Use that." "You alright on your own there Leanne.". YES I am. You're not the only one who knows how to do their job, it's not rocket science!! I wouldn't mind if she was the supervisor, but she's just the same as me, so really annoys me. And what's worse is, on Thursday the supervisor has a day off, so I just know she's going to boss us all about, telling us what to do etc. I may flip :p

Anyway; sorry about the rant .

Jojo
10-04-2007, 22:27
Have you tried telling her that you don't need the help? Or that if you do need help, she'd be the first one she'd ask. Its annoying, but I expect she thinks she is helping.

CrazyLea
10-04-2007, 22:32
Well, not exactly, but sometimes, I do say "I know." In a jokey-ish way, but she's must think I'm yelling or something, cause she goes all funny. She is really nice though, so I might just try being polite but more forward so to speak. So that she get's that I don't like it. I must sound so fussy lol!

Jojo
10-04-2007, 22:43
lol no you dont - you just sound frustrated to me. I think have a chat with her - you'll be sorted and she'll understand :) and if she doesn't - at least she should stop telling you.

Ive had a great day! We went to birmingham for the day and I mean ive only just got back and I have my prom dress and of course shoes. The prom dress cost £80 which was very good I thought and my shoes were £40 but they were supposed to be £60 :D

Katy
13-04-2007, 14:49
did you go to the bullring in Birmingham, its quite good in there. I spent about that on my prom dress and it was just a normal one from debinhams not a special prom one so i could wear it again. People i knew spent way more it was ridiculas.

I done an essay today and i had to meet mum in town as she left her handbag at home.

Last night there was a bit car chase down my road it was so cool. The police were after this guy and they pulled up about 2 doors down from me so i watched what was going on from my window, it was just like the Bill, then he went in the police car and i went to bed. nothing exciting like that ever happens near me so i thought id best watch as it will never happen again.

I went to the dentist yesterday and she told me something really bizarre... that one half of my face is bigger than the other because my jaw is in the wrong place or i have too many teeth! :searchme: Anyway, i need to go to the authodentist sp? to get it checked out and i'm gonna need braces as well. Apparently i was born like it according to my mum but no other dentist i have been too has picked it up before. Overall, i had nice teeth though the dentist said! :p

But then it all went pearshaped - as i did my mock radio exam and failed. I did try as i revised through the book the day before to get it fresh in my mind. Luckily, i wasn't the only one who failed though so as long as it wasn't just me, i guess. I'm really dissapointed though, i think everyone's dissapointed in me and i'm feeling really down about it so i am gonna stuff my face with chocolate today to cheer me up! :D

Today just chilling at home, last day of the holidays.

Hows everyones Easter been then? Mine's been fab, not looking forward to going back to college, still only six weeks left until I leave for good :D

Had a good easter, done loads seen Blades of Glory and 300, both great films.

Done the usual visits to see the family for Easter, nightmare but it had to be done lol.

My mate Clo took me on a shopping spree lol, I ended up spending £135 on every little, she introduced me to Cult, that shop is the don.

Been chatting to one her best mates Hayley on myspace all week and meet her yesterday. Getting on really well with her, asked her out on a date and she's said yes, so thats good, got that to look forward to soon lol, see how it goes, got a good feeling about it though :)

I've had a great easter!!

My birthday was last weekend, so i had fun then. I saw my family on Good Friday as well, but one of my cousins was there, who is soo funny, so it was ok. I hadn't seen him since the Christmas before last (He's 26 so he works and stuff), so we spent the whole afternoon taking the **** out of each other. Which was funny.

I had a house party of Tuesday, which was great!! I drunk way too much stuff, but wasn't really that drunk in myself. Though everyone else was, which was funny. I managed to get my mates boyfriend in trouble with my mate. Because he spent the whole night "trying to put doritos down my top" :rotfl: When we all know what he was really doing :p And i met some twins, who were really nice. I spent the whole night nicking their drinks, which was funny. And several other things happened at the party, but i think that should be reserves for the Mile High Forum, lmao. I really got on well with one of them, so i'm gonna meet up with him again soon, which will be funny..

I went shopping up London a few times. The new primark is huuuge!! There was a queue just to get into the place, thats how busy it was!

I had loads of mates around yesterday night, which was good. But i'm actually looking forward to going back to college tomorrow. Where i live, theres a bit of a divide between the 2 towns. I live in the town which is further away from college, so i only really see people who live near me, during the holidays. So it will be good to see all my mates who live in the other area. We always have a proper laugh in our free lessons, its great.

Katy

don't want to go back to college tomorrow, still have an essay to finish, been chilling in the park with my friends to day although i think i have been sunburnt as my face feels awful warm. having a take out tonight, before back to reality tomorrow.

We did the usually family visits, cousins 21st party and the like.

Cant believe i'll have finished college for good soon. Its so scary.

i've been working all weekend, and i'm really tired. now i got to learn my french oral, for the mock tomorrow, but i'm exhausted, and i just feel like sleeping, so i might ask my teacher if i can do it later in the week as all weekend i've been having problems with other stuff, but i'll do what i can and if tomorrow i really am back to how i've been then i'll ask not to do it.
the rest of my hols have been okay, went away over the easter weekend and done not much else, and i haven't been able to catch up on sleep. i must never push myself to want to hit physical exhaustion again, but mental exhaustion set in before, which isn't good.

I've had a not too bad Easter... although technically been off for 4 weeks lol (From college.) Been with my mates, or working in the hols. Out at the pub, in the night, which has been fun. Last night I was totally drunk though, I am so embarassed, can't remember anything! I do remember the landlord yelling at me for something, we normally get on really well, so because I was drunk, he yelled for somethign, and I cried lol. So I rang him up this avvo to apologise, he was more than okay with it, and was apologising to me lol, he loves me :p . Then went out again tonight :D.

Work has been okay, cause it's been good catching up with everyone from last year lol. And oogling over the really hot manager guys  :p.

That's been my hol actuallly. lol. Worked 6 days in a row, then pub most nights lol. Woo. I'm a little drunk now lol.

Shortened coursework from 1,501 words to 1,249. I can't take any more out of it and it needs to be 900 by tomorrow. I don't want to go to school and I have to leave in 15 minutes. Might get reports and exam results :(

Right back to reality we go.

Sounds like a nice landlord lea the ones near me are really horribel a part from one. Id call it my local but its not the nearest pub to me.

Plan of action for tonight, complete psychology, (with the distraction of SB of course) then i'm watching telly.

Well i've had an eventful day...I had to go to my cousin's because they're away and i had to let the dog out with a key that was hidden in a shoe nearest to the door, but it wasn't there, so i had to look through every shoe on the shoe rack, then realised my cousins didn't leave the key behind!

Yup, back to reality indeedy. I have a lot of work, the student teacher is worse than I thought, patronising me for being left handed, teaches us like we're babies and his English is somewhat lacking. I thought we'd have him for a term maximum, but he's not going for 9 weeks.

Nearly ended up in a group with bullies in English, but I wouldn't be able to put up with it, and I couldn't do a speaking assessment in front of them, so I ended up crying. My mate wouldn't have me in her group because they wanted another girl, and now I don't want anything to do with me. She used to cling to me so much, so she is friends with my mates that aren't in our class, and there's no way I can get rid of her. And the bullies now want to smack me one.

Yep, back to reality indeed!!!

I got up this morning after only about 4 hours (tops) sleep....Thank crunching for the new 'brightening' eye cream/gel I got the other day! Have felt totally knackered all day...

I thought I'd be really nice today and give my class (how are 5/6 years old) a spelling test...just to ease them back into the school routine! Though I did make it up to them this afternoon by letting them have activity time on the yard (the weather has been sooo nice today). However when the balls kept going over the fence I was getting a bit sick of fetching them back, and whilst climbing over the fence, for the umpteenth time I heard a ripping noise, I'd snagged my trousers on a nail, and have now one totally ruined pair of trousers!!!:o Class thought it was hilarious.

Awwwww poor PB

Bless Pb, thats one thing the class won't forget though, it will be one of those moments in which they treasure for ever.

Listening to music now chilling in the garden. I bought the cascade album. Its really good. Just been a really fat pig and eaten a mcdonalds.

I want to leave as well, although its scary that there is so litle time left. My coursework is a complete nightmare, i am spending all my life on the flipping computer.

I don't want to go. I've had 2 days back and I've had enough. We're supposed to be doing our oral assessments in small groups to make us comfortable, but I'm far from it. I have a student teacher in RE for 9 weeks. He's so patronising and his English is somewhat lacking. I have Maths tomorrow and I'm probably going to get exam results.

I wouldn't mind so much if it wasn't going to affect my career plan. He just has to be very patronising whilst he's doing it, and laughs in people's faces. I think he'll do that to me tomorrow, I don't want to go to the lesson. I'm going to fail at the rate it's going, so I may as well not go to the lesson and fail. Nearly crying every maths lesson can't be normal.

Computer throwing a major hissy fit, or specifically one program that I need to do part of my coursework. That teacher will be getting a note instead of a section of the coursework. I don't even want to go in tomorrow, there's not 1 lesson that I want to go to.

I'm thinking accountant, so I'd need an A level in Maths at least, and you can't take one if you don't get a B. I don't think I'd risk it even if I did get a B - he's made me feel so stupid.

Kim
20-04-2007, 16:47
Had Maths again today. I didn't understand, so I sat there doing nothing the whole lesson, almost crying at the same time. If he came near my table, I had to write a load of rubbish to avoid him getting at me. I have homework again and I guess I won't be able to do it. I don't know what to do about it, but I'll probably fail the exam in 8 weeks.

Computer wouldn't do what it was supposed to last night, so I have to finish my media coursework over the weekend. Also got a load of other work.

We have a long term cover in Science and he's boring me stupid, everything he says comes out rude and he's treating us as if we've just started school by writing the spelling of ionisation on the board and informing us that we have to write the date, title and aim down every lesson. We never write the aim.

My friend did A Levels in Art, English, and AAT.Which i thin worked as two. It all depends on where you go. Are you planning onm staying at school and going to the sixth form or findinf a college.

I tried a book the other week with something but I still didn't have a clue, so I left it. I will probably stay at school as 3 of my mates will be staying. I think I'll go to the deputy head on Monday - she knows me well so it might help. Well i've had a bad day! My two friends aren't going to the prom anymore and are planning a party of their own so i was stuck in the middle and had to decide if i wanted to go to their party or go to the prom but i decided to go to the prom and i am now going in a limo with 7 other girls and i'm the only boy. My one friend said the prom would be crap, and dropped out of the limo when he promised he would go in there with me! And my other friend is so snobby that he won't go in the limo because i'm sharing it with the "uncool" people of the year. He's afraid that it'll ruin his reputation and anyone who isn't that smart, he looks down on them and i'm pissed off! I think i'm gonna stop being friends with him now!

Plus, my drama teacher told our whole class we had to do two pieces of coursework, because the other coursework we did wasn't actually coursework, so now i've got to remember a practical i did over a year ago and write about it by Monday! Plus do another coursework for it! Fantastic!

Kim
20-04-2007, 18:12
I would have gone mad at that drama teacher. It's only a few weeks until the year 11 study leave at my school. I hope your mate planning the party doesn't have a very good time after that, it would serve him right.

The one that won't go in the limo is ridiculous. It's a limo, it'll look cool anyway, who's going to care who goes in the limo with you? It's got to be annoying for you though, going in the limo with girls. I go to school in a taxi full of boys and that isn't very good. It's stupid of him, that's your only chance to go in a limo because you'd need a lot in there or it would be very expensive, and you can't very well find a limo for you and the mate that's still going to the prom.

Talk to him after lesson? Get your parents to talk to him? If talking to him doesn't work, go to someone more superior, as he's supposed to help you.

But then, as a teacher he has to cater for the whole class, and not just you personally. Maybe some people don't know how to spell the word. He's just making sure, for your own benefits, not his.

It's not a mixed ability class though. I tried talking to him on Wednesday and all he said was that he hoped I'd copied a lot of the stuff of the board. He doesn't give you time to copy it, and I was that confused I couldn't follow what he was doing, let alone do a question by myself. My parents don't care, they're just going to start caring when I start failing, which probably won't be long.

All teachers do that. You have to be able to listen and write and take it all in at the same time, its a basic skill they get you into when you get to GCSE, ready for A Levels and Further Education. So you can't blame your teacher for that, its just you probably dont realise what teachers are told to do/not to do. The lower classes go a bit slower in the lessons and dont expect you to do it as much, because really, the odds of you going onto Further Education, like degrees, is slimer. But the higher classes are expected to be able to do it, so you've just got to get used to it.

CrazyLea

I agree with what Abi said.. it's all preparing you for tougher times. If you cant handle this, then you'll struggle with A levels.. althought tbh, you have ages yet to get used to it Kim.

Do you raise your hand in class? If he ignores it, shout out! If he ignores you still, just be adamant, demand (kind of :p) that he helps you!

E.g Kim: Can I have some help
Teacher: *Ignore ignore ignore*
Kim: EXCUSE ME! I need help. Now unless you want me to fail my exams I suggest you help me :p

You know what I mean ;)

I got him to explain something to me the other week, and he completely humiliated me whilst he was doing it, not that I was any better afterwards. Lol Lea, I'd get sent out for being rude. He doesn't like me anyway, so that doesn't help matters. Every other lesson I'm fine, it's just that one. He's laughed in my face before and he's done the same to another boy, but I don't think the school are interested. My tutor certainly isn't as I spoke to him in one to one tutoring.

Abi
21-04-2007, 00:04
What did he do to "completly humiliate you"? How would you prefer him to teach? He sounds to me like he's just got a good personality, and not afraid to be friendly to pupils and take the **** sometimes. My politics teacher asked me if i take drugs today. That doesn't make him a bad teacher, it just means he has a strange way of teaching, lol!

Kim
21-04-2007, 00:11
He was supposed to be showing me it one to one, so instead of sitting at my desk and doing it, he does it on the interactive whiteboard, and no one else was asking for help. He had me telling him what had to be done and writing it down even if it was wrong, for the whole class to see. I can understand him asking me everything to check if I understood, but writing it down even if it was wrong and doing it without the projector paused.

He laughed at me for a wrong answer, and the other boy because he asked for extra work to get his grade up.

I didn't do Maths A levels and got a C in my GCSE's but I'm doing an Accountancy course now.

Speak to a careers adviser etc - how many people I know that have left school with nothing like the grades in their GCSE's that you are predicted Kim but have gone on to bigger and better things in life. My cousin left school with hardly any GCSE's but is now a computer programmer on some stupid amount of money per year (something daft like £50k odd).

The only thing I would say to this though Kim, is that he might have thought that you were the only one who felt that could ask for help, yet other people in your class, may still have needed the help and been stuck on it, but were too embarrassed to speak to him and request the help they needed.

Laughed? or chuckled thinking how nice it was for children to want to make a difference for a change rather than not giving two hoots what grades they got?!

Sorry if it feels like I'm not being sympathetic, but to me, it seems like a personality clash and even if he does something to try and make you feel more at ease (would you have preferred him shout at you for getting the answer wrong or chuckle/laugh and then go through it with you again?) its wrong, if he ignores you, its wrong and apart from any thing else he hates you?! It seems like you don't like him, you feel that he doesn't like you, which if you probably turned round to him after class and said, Sir I feel like you are always picking on me or making me feel such and such, he would probably be horrified not realising that this was what you were feeling, and that you need to sit down and sort out with him whats going on. Thats what I'd do anyway, if your parents don't want to get involved - sort it out with him yourself, face to face, not go through your tutor etc.

Can't they change it, Tannie? In the exams we had, they changed the level paper one girl was sitting on the last school day before the exam.

I didn't ask for the help that time. He laughed at the boy as if to say that he didn't think he was capable of the grade that he wanted to get and he's had similar results to me, so I wouldn't risk it. He noticed I was getting upset over it, thinking it was only that topic, but it's everything, which is why I was upset.

Something annoyed me a little today.... we had a different bus and bus driver than usual, and she was letting the people smoke on the bus, out the windows. But still.. 1, you're not meant to smoke on buses anyway, and 2. the smoking ban is in, i'm pretty sure that a bus would go against that! I know I probably sound rather petty, but as a non smoker, I found all the smoke a little annoying, as the wind was blowing it back in, and down my throat lol.. not just mine, everyones. There were a few that were annoyed.

I'm not surprised, Lea. Even though you're old enough to smoke, it's still a bus that's going to a place of education. How does the bus driver know that people in their GCSE years aren't going there, because people from my school go to college for a certain amount of time a week. It's your choice whether to smoke or not, and you shouldn't have to tolerate passive smoking. It's annoying and harmful.

A year 11 has started on me now. They'll be sure to do nothing about that...

Its my understanding that smoking on public transport has been banned for a long time which would make this illegal hun which would include the school transport. I think a complaint should be in order as the driver AND the coach firm could be prosecuted for this.

Have some painkillers, Dave. I want some for my nail, but I can't go downstairs to get them.

It's going to be a fun day tomorrow, not. First day of litter picking and it was really windy, so I'd get something in the picker, then slip one handle of the bag off of my hand to put it in, only for the bag to blow around and all the litter to fall out. Then the photocopying lady came out and said to me, "Oi! You're supposed to be picking up litter, do it properly!"

Or even email them asking what their smoking policy on board their buses is - when they reply with, well its not actually allowed, you can then state the details of it. It isn't allowed anymore and the driver shouldn't have been allowing it to happen.

Our bus drivers do it all the time.. smoke out the window just before bus is due to leave.. they should not be doing that as a bus is a place of work and taxi driver can also be fined for smoking in a taxi.

Aww, i hope your arms feeling better Dave. Theres a wooden fence by my college and one of the poles has been sticking out for the past two years and i still never remember its there. All the time i walk into it and its flipping painful. I'm getting my hair cut at 5 thankfully, it's at that arkward stage where i just don't know what to do with it. Got an essay which i spent ages on and i only got a C, i am so screwed in the exam. As for smoking on the bus i think you should complain to the bus company as it is up to the driver to keep it safe for everyone and tyour right a bus is a public place and its pretty clear that your not meant to smoke on them.

Busy busy weekend ahead. I'm looking forward to it, but i tdon't think i will get a lot of work done. I am off out on Saturday for a meal and on sunday i have a band competition.

Well very busy weekend. We had a band competition. Came 2nd it was great. My last one before i go to uni, hopefully. I'm just chilling out at the minute listening to the Ian DEmpsey Podcast. The guy is hilarious.

Great day today, 2 lessons cancelled so just revising at home. Not posted on here in ages. went out Saturday night, was really really good although i have fallen out with one of my friends. he has really changed and everyone can see it but him. I just don't like the new him. Won't bore you lot with the details.

Literature oral got messed up because this girl was looking like she'd finished, then she'd add another 2 words that added no meaning to what she'd said when she saw I was about to speak, so I'll get marked down. I could hardly get a word in, there were loads of things I could have said, but she changed the subject, or the teacher asked another question.

Dad's talking about moving my computer downstairs if I don't fix his. I didn't break it, and he pressed stuff and made it worse.

Too much homework - I can't be bothered after the amount of preparation I did for that oral.

Reports out today - trying to summon the courage to give it to my parents, because there's a reply slip.

I decided top get my old cornet out to see how much damage is done by leaving it in a box. Turns out quite a lot. The slides have all seized up so i have left it under the hot water tap to try and losen the slides. The valves have gone down and yet to pop back up so its in need of some tender loveing care. You never know when you might need it.

Boring day at college. Lots of essays.

I'm going to get some stick tomorrow, thanks to the Physics Specialist. Went to leave a mate a comment on bebo to say happy birthday, and it turns out I'm blocked. I know who influenced that. Charming!

Same old kind of day, nearly cried in Maths, homework that I'm in no mood to do.

Business Studies tomorrow though :)

Its not irrepairable in fact mines nearly sorted. THe slides still quite stiff and the tuning and third valve i have not yet got moving again im sure it will soon enough. The valves are bouncy again used about half a bottle of oil. Then put it in the bath and when i tipped it upside down all the gunk that has collected over the years fell out. It was quite disgusting. dont think it will impair the value if you get everything moving, sliding and not sticking.

Stupid Maths again. I really can't put up with many more of his lessons.

My actual teacher came up to me and apologised on behalf of the Physics specialist, which was nice of her, seeing as it wasn't her fault. Still don't want to go to the lesson tomorrow though.

This boy came right up to my face, and another one started taking the mick when I was on my way to my lesson.

We had this money thing in PSHE to estimate our lifestyles when we're older, and I was surprised at how low mine was, including tax. Mine was about £23,000, but one boy was up to £55,000.

Just printed pictures from Saturday to take to my Gran tonight, and now I should really do homework.

It's been a wierd day. A lad from our school died earlier this week from pneumonia. I don't know him personally but he's the second lad to die this year. The first one died 3 days after Christmas which was upsetting for everyone.
Can't imagine what it must be like for the head to deliever that speech to staff and pupils once, let alone twice in 5 months.

aww i'm sorry. It doesnt matter if you dont know them it still really upsetting. I imagine it must be really hard for the headteacher. I remember our principle had to put posters up around college when a pupil died as it would have been to hard to get everyone together. Its really shocking when you read about it.

I have pulled a muscle in my knee, its absolutly killing me. I have to rest for a week which is stupid as i hate resting.

It was really sad when this girl died in my school. She was a couple of years above me, but still, seeing everyone going around crying and the teachers being all sad. And her sister was in my year, and another sister a year below me, so it was sad to see them around too.

I've had a really good week in college to be fair. Most of has been spent down the park, in Currys playing on eyetoy, or just going around town. Teachers either ill, or tell us we can go. Which I really don't mind when the weather is sooooo good!!

We had a bit of a party in my English lesson as my teacher brought in cake and food, and hats etc. It was good fun!

The year 11's don't have to wear uniform tomorrow, no fair. I don't register in my form and in the room where I go, there is this boy, and he swore blind he wouldn't even get drunk tomorrow night. I bet he doesn't even show up.

Year 11 in my school have journals signed, but not shirts. We had shirts done at the end of year 6.

History and English tomorrow, which means I have to see one thing, blood. I feel sick.

Physics specialist caught me in the corridor and I literally flew through the door; don't think I could have made it clearer that I don't want to speak to him.

Why is it unfair that they don't have to wear uniform Kim?? If its their last full day at school prior to exams its fair on them isn't it?? Surely it will be your turn next year then won't it?

Has History and English morphed into Biology then?? Sorry, not being funny or nowt, just wondering where the blood bit comes into it and why you would have to see it......

Haven't written on here for a while....

Have had a splendid day....the weather has been lovely here...so taught as much as possible outside in order to work on the ol tan... Another reason being my classroom was like a bloomin' oven. Think the heat had affected the children as one minute we were discussing the sunflowers we'd just planted, this moved on to a discussion about eating snails and then to eating kangeroo's testicles  (Im a Celeb has alot to answer for)!!!

After school took my drama group (bascially most of the year six children) for two hours to work on my 'unique' production of Grease! Went better than I thought...though my Danny and Sandy having had a major fall out on Tuesday, are still refusing point blank to talk to each other, unless its scripted! lol

Roll on the weekend and watch out N'castle....I'm a coming!!!!

If it was me that wasn't wearing the uniform, it might make the 12/13 ish year olds that won't leave me alone back off a bit. The school don't care what they do, because it's difficult when the students are in different years.

In History there's this boy who has a really bad black eye, and it's actually bleeding. I fell backwards when I saw it on Wednesday, and the stories I heard of just after it happened were far worse.

In English we're watching Frankenstein, and there was a brain being carried in bare hands, and they must have used a watermelon or something like that for a sound effect when a brain was being sliced, eww.

Being in different years really shouldn't make a difference to school policies on whether or not someone is being bullied or mistreated or whatever. And tbh, I doubt not wearing a uniform would really make them back off that much would it??

Oh right - now the History and English bit makes sense.....thanks for clarifying - it was confusing me and would have bugged me for ages otherwise....

I don't know, but I think they think I'm in their year, or something. Anything's worth a shot to get rid of them.

He was in, and it's not much better. Thought I could sit my new way at the table, but the boy I sit by turned up late.

Physics specialist took the lesson today, some boy was waiting at the door and forcing it closed, and when I was about to go to the other side to get through, he made the door fly open and hit me on the leg. Boy from Media was waiting for me to go outside after Maths, but luckly he only had about 5 seconds to wind me up before my mate turned up.

I remember my last English lesson with a teacher that I have never liked. He made a speech and he was trying not to cry then everybody started crying when we got outside. It made me realise (too late) what a great teacher he is. Just a bit of reminiscing there...

I got really emotional today and actually cried because Yr 11 left this morning and it just reminded me of my leaving day last year and all that went on between me and 2 friends.

Had a pretty rubbish day, biology was so boring. Listening to a teacher droning on about something that I can't even remember for 3hrs solid isn't fun.
Haven't got my exam timetable yet and my first exam is on Monday. Got a feeling I've been put in the sports hall, which is freezing even in summer, so I'm not happy because I usually have a seperate room that has some form of heating.

I had a great day yesterday. I had my Record of Achievement ceremony yesterday morning, and it was actually quite emotional. My two head of years over the past 5 years made a speech and it was quite sad! :( Then my headteacher said something too, and we all got our Record of Achievement folders and our yearbooks. We then went into the hall and had food and stuff and everyone in our year were signing each other's yearbooks with their signatures. That was quite fun.

Then yesterday night, i had my prom and that was amazing! I went in a limo with 5 other girls. We had music going, disco lights going, and we had a bottle of champagne too! We had the windows open and we were all shouting out at the passers by lol, holding our glasses of champagne up and shouting cheers! and whooo!! it was great! :D We all had photos taken too. Then we arrived at the prom and the atmosphere was great, everyone was dancing to the music and i danced with loads of people in my year, also a sixthform band played and they were really good. Overall, i had a great time! We also got the limo back, and after about 4 glasses of champagne, i was feeling a bit wobbly lol! :o

Tomorrow is my last day before exams start, so the year 13's are leaving permanently tomorrow. So the pranks began today. I was in the study room with some mates this afternoon, and some year 13's came in carry a few porn magazines. We have loads of posters on the walls in the study room f universitys and bands and things. So when i left, they were taking the odd one of those posters down, and replacing them with porn. Which was quite funny. Not sure how my head of year will take it- he has a sense of humour, but i'm not sure how much of one!! Though, to be fair, its only the 6th Form Studyroom, it could have been the year 7-11 tutorials.

We had a pirate day at school. Soooo losts of very excited and hyper children dressed up as pirates - why is it always the naughty ones who have the biggest toy swords? Made several walk the plank, which made a novel change from putting them in 'time out'!

Soooo glad its half term, as sooo bloomin knackered - one week to recover and write 23 reports.:(

Roll on the long summer hols. :)

Day not been too bad.

But, my mates little sister has gone missing. 14 or 15 can't remember which. but she didn't come home from school (4ish). My mates parents have had a look around, and gone to her mates houses (that they know about) but no one knows where she is (that they've asked). They have called the police now, not sure what's going on now, as my mate has gone to bed lol. Knowing her, she's just around one of her mates, which I hope is what it is. Known her for like forever too.

Any news on your mates sister Lea??

I've had a weekend away camping with the Scouts, it's been quite fun but we had awful weather yesterday. It rained all day and part of the tent i was sleeping in got soaked along with my sleeping bag, so didn't get a perfect night's sleep.

I did some good activities - archery, car driving, rock climbing, waterslide and a bungee activity type thing. We also had a camp fire and that was quite fun. Overall, it was a good camp but i was absolutely freezing throughout it all and the rain did bring the weekend down a bit. I'm just glad to be back home as i've had a decent wash and i can get back into the comfort of my own bed tonight. :D

Hope you mates sister has been found ok Lea. :)

i hope you had fun dave, yesterday a load of scouts from the local centenary camp came into where i work [a camping shop] needing waterproofs, so i guess they must have been caught out then!!

So were the ones up here, none of them bought any sensible clothing on the centenery camp. My mate went to pick up her brother and wouldnt let him in the car as he was soaked so he had to walk back.

Im revising today, tomorrow and pretty much everyday.

I bough some Ipod speakers so they are making it a little more bearable.

My mum was in my room this morning asking what she could get for my mate to eat and drink when she comes over on Friday. I remembered something when she went out of the door and couldn't be bothered to get out of bed, so I stood on it and yelled out of the window. There was someone getting out of their car to go and visit one of my neighbours, and I was wearing a sleeveless nightie which slipped... lets just say he saw slightly more of me than he should have done.

Just had my aunt in law on the phone, who thought I was my mum when I answered the phone. My mum's not in, so I was constantly being told to get rid of my cold, but I got an update about my cousins.

Yesterday spent most of the day doing a timeline for Literature, and now I really don't want to do storyboarding or write analysis.

I dyed my hair this evening. Its "Bitter Chocolate" now. Its basically just a really dark shade of brown, and as my hair is shiny, it shines a mahogany kind of colour. Its only temp for the minute, but i plan on making it permanent ASAP. Because it rocks, tbh.

Oh yeah, guess I should let you all know :p

They found her yeah, she was in this other town with this girl  She just doesn't realise the seriousness of not coming home and stuff! And apparantly the next day, she did the same thing! Her mother is furious, and now is threatening her with foster care (not really going to, just trying to stop her from doing it), so hopefully it will work, cause one day something will happen to her, and she'll be sorry. They also changed her msn, bebo, myspace etc passwords, to stop her from planning it all.

I've had quite a random day today. My friend asked me round his house to his band practice, and for his girlfriend's birthday party, they're doing a gig and i have to dress up as a burglar and sneak round her garden with my friend dressed up as Superman, chasing after me! Really random as i just went to his house and he said "can you dress up as a burglar?"

One of the boys who plays in the football team with Marley asked if I wanted him to get the tickets. So I gave him a pound and asked him to just pick any 10 tickets for me. Bless his little heart he has autism and he came back to the bouncy castle just when the headmaster had come to see how thing were going. Young Richard annouced I've won you a bottle of wine, you can have it for your tea. Nice one Richard just tell the headmaster and the school that I am an alchololic.

well today me and my friend went for a cycle, we went from stockport to chorlton water park without problems until we decided to go to the trafford centre, which kinda was my aim in general so we started to follow signs for stretford which lead us in a circle! eventually we got onto the road the bus follows, and discovered the 3 hrs we'd been cycling around trying to find this path, we could have gone down this road in about 30 mins!!! so then it was another hour a a half to the trafford centre, and we got lost- we saw it but then the cycle paths ran out and it turned into motorway! but then we got there and then came back on the train from urmston which is only 10 mins away by bike and then negotiated the peak crowds! but it was really fun, just a bit tired now, we think we cycled about 20 miles!

My taxi driver thought it was hilarious that some kids deliberately kicked a ball at me. He laughed his head off (it isn't the first time,) and the worst person to have seen him laughing, did.

Went to the reception and rang my mum and told her to get the boss not to get that driver to pick me up. My mum rang and got hold of that driver, so she said she wanted to speak to the boss and he said he'd get him to call her back. The boss hasn't, and from the tone he used when he said, "Your mum wants to speak to ????." I really think he knows what she was going to say and therefore hasn't told the boss that my mum called. He really scared me on the way home and I was crying in the taxi and when I got home.

I was going to stay off tomorrow, but I have to start filming for a montage which accounts for 25% of my Media GCSE.

My day has been a mixture of good and bad.

My best mate seemed off with me today. She was really quiet in the morning when we got off the bus, looked weird when I sat by her on the bus, then all day she's been with our other mates, and was saying they and her was saying shes going to the pub with them on the weekend, and to this nightclub, but none of them asked me to go to either with them!! Even if I said no I would have liked to been asked! Then on the bus home, she had her feet up on the chair, so that no one sat by her, and I always sit by her, then totally ignored me the whole way home, unless this guy sat by me, which he did every now and again bles him :p. I'm so confused, I think she's pissed off with me, but I don't know what cos I ain't done nothing to her. So I'm just not going to do something is she wants me to, cause I'm fed up of being walked over by her! Which I am done!

My mates on m y course were fab and hyper and fun today, so that was the good part. I'm really upset about my other mate though. But Screw her!

Katy

She might have just been habving a bad day Lea. Hope it all gets sorted out.

And Vick, you cycled to the TRafford Centre, are you mental! That would kill me. The firthest ive ever gone on a bike is Macclesfield. And that took 3 hours. ITs quite a way what you did. ARe you feeling it this morning, or are you much more fitter than i am.

Tori
08-06-2007, 11:08
i must be mental, seeing as we were only going to go to chorlton/sale water park first off, which would have been about 10 miles all round! but we worked out it was closer to 20 what we did! i'm feeling pretty alright this morning, i think my knees are a little dodgy but they'll soften up! i'll go to macc one day, thats even further!

been cinema today with Hayley,my new girlfriend, we went to see Spiderman 3, been threatening to see it for ages lol, people have said its crap but I really enjoyed it. Still it was good to spend time with Hayley, she's superb - god knows what she sees in me ha ha. She's unlike anyone I've been with before, everyone in my past has been so shallow, superficial, up their own arses, Hayley is non of those things, shes intelligant, funny, got a fantastic personality and top of that drop dead gorgeous. Why settle for milk when it's evident you can get the cream.

Me and Clo, her best mate, have arranged a secret birthday meal for her tomorrow, got loads of her friends coming, we're going to a Tapas bar on Broad Street, so should be fun. Got a Critical Thinking exam in the afternoon so it's gonna be a mad rush to get home, dressed and go out again lol, at least I dont have to worry about the exam, couldn't care less if I fail it lol.

Hope you have a good day out tomorrow Bry.

12-06-2007, 19:23
Thanks Katy, it's gonna be a bit of a nightmare, gotta make small talk with loads of people I dont know, and well from all accounts they sound like a bunch of nutters, saying that it could be fun.

Most of my exams are next week, I've got no incentive to do good as I only need Ds to get into uni, and from Jan modules and coursework alone I've got Ds, so what incentive is there? Saying that I'll still do a bit of revision this weekend for them.

It's annoying but GCSES are almost over, AS exams are over, Uni exams are over, seems as though we're the only ones with stress and exam pressure atm.

i went to london yesterday, it was really fun despite spending a total of 11 hours on a coach  so i'm pretty tired now but i couldn't sleep more! it was really nice and sunny, and today here it's really cloudy! now i'm going to watch a few dvds and upload the photos, we got a bit mad on the coach on the way back and sung random songs with hungarian words in and we kept saying this word, then as we were getting off this guy asked us what it meant as he'd been trying to work out what it was all the way bak from london!!!!

Katy
13-06-2007, 17:24
lol, We did a visit to London and went on the train, thing was we acted as if it was a school coach, singing and dancing round like mad people. It was brilliant. The regular train people didnt like it though. They kept asking where we were from and us and the teachers (who were quite drunk) replied, Stockport College. It was an ace day.

I sat a general studies exam today, and wrote an essay on Hollyoaks and Coronation street. I was very impressed with myself, i even managed to get Man City in there.

Bryan
13-06-2007, 22:29
god it's been non stop today, had to go and do my Critical Thinking exam, was pointless and rubbish as i imagined, not to mention unecessarily hard. They expected us to do 20 multiple choice questions, 7 comprhension question, 2 evaulations and 3 essays in 1 hour 45 minutes, naturally I didn't finish and missed the 18 mark question. I had five minutes left so wrote a plan of what I'd have included in the question, then wrote a letter to the examiner slagging off the course and the test paper.

Then got home and witnessed the torrential downpoor of rain, where has it all come from? Then went into town, meet up with some of my mates, we were all going out for a suprise meal for my girlfriend's birthday, it was great. We went to La Tascas, ever heard of it? It's a blooming great place, spanish resturaunt it is. You all order like two dishes, put a tenner each in the pot. Then they deliver all the dishes and you just try a bit of everything, mix and match, really sociable, and good fun. The spanish make some blooming good food!

broad street isnt it. If its the one im thinking of, we went for my cousins 21st. The staff were brilliant. There was an ambulance called for some woman outside and they were all making jokes like, oops, must have poinsened someone again, dont go, were great really.

I had general studies and ithink tis th same as critical thinking. Pointless.

This is how my day went: I was woken up by my aunt thrashing my door. She says that my mum collapsed in college. So I quickly put some jeans on and ran out the door to the college, (since the college is a few roads away it didn't take long) Oh yeah and it was pelting it down! Got there and went to the hospital (my mum was fine after just had to get her checked out). Anyway had to stay there for FIVE hours only to find out everything was normal and she collapsed because of the stuffiness and heat of the room and that her Bp was a bit low.

The day was exhausting, didn't help that I looked like crap.. and it was raining..

Today has been good and bad. The old lady who I clean for had a stroke whilst I was there. She's been ill for ages, she had a DVT 6 weeks ago, a heart attack 2 weeks ago and now a stroke, plus a serious allergy to warfarin. She's only been out of hospital a week. So yeah, its not looking good at all.

On the upside, I got to spend more time with my neice, making buns (a nightmare, she had everything all over. And don't mention the sprinkles!!) and she was throwing soap bubbles at me so we had a little bubble fight. She's had way too many sprinkles today, she's singing to herself in bed now :)
