Yes anyone can reply to question here if you know the answer and can help the person out. But obviously it has to be a sensible one and not just "oh I haven't a clue about that" kind of post

I don't know. Sometimes people give an answer to a question without a reason cause they were just told it happens that way. The mods give a reason and if not, they look into it

you had the website address on it though, i seem to remember seeing. and nb i noticed someone else had a banner almost exactly the same as it if you havent noticed that one

I don't know. Sometimes people give an answer to a question without a reason cause they were just told it happens that way. The mods give a reason and if not, they look into itthe mod never even told me it was the wrong answer it was a non-mod

hiya i have a bad reputation point (which i know who from) and it says you're making this topic go even more off topic. just take the point he's making. which i dont understand exactly what it means because the post they done it to doesnt really go with it
also whats the different between the colours i have green (which i know is good) but i also have great and red im guessing red is the worst so is grey in between

i dont want to sound like i'm getting at you, but adding spaces into it, to make it post isn't the idea. The idea is to make this board full of worthwhile posts. If you just add spaces to a post thats only a few words long, and doesn't add to a discussion at all, then the whole point of it is being missed.

thats kinda what i was trying to get at. that you can post 3 letters and lots of spaces then it would post, although that is not what we want on the boards

Mine was 5 and a half hours out yesterday. I didn't do anything to make it do that and it just sorted itself out, so yours probably will too.

i think its something to do with your reputation points but i could be wrong

It means you have a good reputation. If its red, then you've got a bad reputation on the boards.

150 - shoutbox
500 - turn purple, and signiture
1000- avatar, PM enabled, and turn blue
2000- turn dark pink
3000- turn light pink
5000- turn dark blue
7000- turn orange

Thats all, i think.

I remember seeing something like that, come to think of it. I think it was getting free space...... maybe something to do with File Lodge? Didn't it randomly come up with messages saying "this is a one time offer. get free space here" or something like that.

no it never got removed that just comes up when its loading

Well thats that sorted. She couldn't help it, but tell her to use a different host next time, then that wont come up at all.

well something's obviously happening with her link to make it advertise filelodge every now and again. if she used a different host, that's not going to happen, so it wouldn't be taken off. If she just uses imageshack or something then she can use that banner still :)

Well i aint noticed it, and i'm sure if the mods notice it, then the same thing will happen with theirs. They're not victimising her or anything.

Thats ok. Her asking for help probably pointed it out to the mods, thats all. Other people have linked to various sites, and have had their sigs changed, so they had to do the same to hers. Otherwise it would have been favouritism.

Does anyone know how I change it so its the right time on the forums for me?If you go into your user cp, I think its under options there is a bit towards the bottom to say which time zone you are in and if daylight savings is to be activated - you should be able to change it there :D

i think this clock problem is to do with a server reset the other night? it sometimes knocks the time off a bit

Ive sorted mine out now. I told it to automaticaly detect settings and it worked!
