Oh, these were the "Good Old Days".

I remember going out at 6.30 when the snow was knee deep to do my paper round. - Loved it, making the first footprints in the road.
I used to pee in the fresh snow and write my name Until our neighbour complained, because she recognised her daughter's handwriting.

What sort of clergyman is Silly Billy supposed to be. Is he unable to explain to Paul that he would need to be a believer. I blame the scriptwriters.

If Cassendra had watched Brookside, she would know all about going cold turkey

So Max made a statement but never signed it. What's that all about ????

Paul did say he didn't not believe, he just did not know what he believed in, so a few quick choruses of
"I'm a Believer" by The Monkees and everything should be OK.

I hope Elaine is going to keep up the Tai Chi classes as she may need it, if/when Stephen tries to murder her.

Yet another icon leaves the cobbles (albeit temporarily). Corrie will be a poorer place without the wonderful Maureen Lipman. She has become legendary with her portrayal of acid tongued Evelyn. She was one of the few reasons to continue watching Corrie and take my finger off the fast forward button. Instead we are left with the crazy Canuck murderer storylinezzzzzz. Looks like Corrie episodes will be about 3 minutes long now.

Agree entirely with that. Any idea how long she might be away for?

Paul has always stressed that he wasn't interested. It took a chat with a neighbour to get him a little bit interested. The right reverend silly Billy is hopeless.
