I don't think Charity knows, I think it was a contrived way to show that Mack is finding it difficult to suppress his feelings about the baby. I wonder if when it does come out if Mack will end up going off with Chloe to Scotland?

Yes I think that was Mack's problem. He's said previously he has always wanted a child, and now he's got one he can't acknowledge it.
Maybe it will all get to much for him and he will scoot off to Scotland

Maybe not, but when charity finds out, and surely she will, what will Mack do then? Suppose it depends on whether Lawrence Robb is staying on in the role. Only in Soaps do so many partners of broken relationships continue to live in close proximity to each other. Surprised really there are not more murders.
