According to IMDB, Roy Cropper started in Corrie in 1995 appearing in 2,435 episodes.

I remember David Neilson in Boys from the Blackstuff (1982) when he played an offical from the Department of Employment.
He seems to be good at playing seemingly mundane characters - no disrespect. I think he's a great actor.

I remember his first appearance as Roy. He had a flat above Deirdre . Can?t remember much else except that they met on the stairs and I think she thought he was a bit strange. Nothing new there then.

I just had a look, and see there were three series of Between the Lines (1992-94), and David only appeared in one episode out of 35, but it doesn't appear to list which episode it was.
I don't remember the seres offhand, but don't want to download all of them just see the one David was in.
Any idea?
