I can't believe that anyone who was once a headteacher can be quite as ridiculous as Brian.

Tracey Barlow really annoys me and not for the first time.

She blames the Police for a decision made by the Crown Prosecution service. It's not a question as to who the Police believe. Their job is to investigate properly, which they did and present the evidence to the CPS. The CPS never need to explain their decision to the complainant. They lumber the Police with that job.

It was a case that was never going anywhere. Had Amy reported it the next day she may have had a chance but to leave it a couple of weeks after the event doesn't help. It's sad but that's the facts of life. Without evidence the Police cannot prosecute.

I am aware that the police cannot prosecute in this type of case. There are certain cases that the police actually do prosecute themselves. Not everything has to go to the CPS
