One look at the Vicarmobile will soon prove his innocence unless of course there was no contact between Alex and the offending vehicle and the soap police just scoop him because he was out for a drive.

Alex was saying he had stashed them on the phone to Clare just before he was hit. So presumably they are hidden in the woods somewhere.

charles and alex had a scruffle on his car bonnet or alex car bonnet so dna might be on it which is another bit of evidence against the vicar
