Suicide is NEVER a good idea. He has had his world torn apart by his wife, who has now been forgiven and embraced by her family, while he has been left on his own and virtually shunned. He is in a bad place and needs help not criticism.

The problem is that I don't like him. I never have done.

I wonder if Caleb will pay Amy's legal bill if she does try to get custody of Kyle?

Paddy has always been one of my favourite characters, so I would be sorry to see him go. Admittedly they seem to have made him more bumbling and a touch more stupid recently, but on the whole he is still one of the nicer, less nasty characters in the village.

Well said. I totally agree. Why someone would want him to commit suicide, is completely beyond me.
