I really think you are stretching the bounds of credibility too far.

If you want confusing, I suggest you look up the old Australian soap, E Street, the guy who was witnessed killing someone, who it turned out didn't kill anyone, and because of his guilt and paranoia years later started killing people......aggghhhhh!!!!!!!!
