Thanks - Because of the way the broadcast times have been changing, my DVR stopped recording 5 minutes before the end. Altho' it has been fairly obvious for a while now. Guessing he is investigating Griff.

Problem is that my tivo records the time and the channel and never the actual programme.

Yes, he is a proper policeman working undercover keeping an eye on Griff, I think

A waste of Police resouces I reckon. Griff doesn't make a secret about what he is doing. Did Spider ever go on the beat or was he fast traced into his current position?

He's a detective constable and it is not clear at present what case he is working on. He was warned about sleeping with a suspect by the officer on the Imran case, but he said Toyah has nothing to do with the case he is working on. However he has now been asked to find out what he can from Toyah about Imran's death, but he refused to do so because he "knows" Toyah didn't kill him.

But didn't Imran die from a heart attack after the car accident?

He did but we do not know yet why Toyah crashed the car, it will be revealed soon whether she meant to kill him, herself or both or whether it was an accident. Imran's mum and the police are not convinced it was an accident so they want to know more of what happened

Thanks, Perdita. I thought that it had already been resolved. I haven't really been watching very much, as I watch on Hulu & being 12 days behind. I can scan the descriptions about each episode & decide whether or not to watch.
