Coronation Street - Current Episode Discussion - V

I am trying to think how they can bring this story with Stu to a satisfactory and believable conclusion. He was convicted of murder, he confessed to the crime, but now says he did not do it. He may well be covering for someone, but unless that person admits to it, how can he prove he did not do it. Or are jasmeen and others eventually just going to take his word for it that he is innocent?
