I've been meaning to comment on this for a while now but kept putting it off. WTH is with Adam's 'poodle do'? I thought the sticking straight up in the air 'do' was bad but this?

They would be picketing the places where they turn up for work in the morning.

That's a point.
Although as someone earlier suggested picketing the tip, perhaps doing that would prevent full bin-loads of rubbish from being emptied, putting the vehicles out of action.
This would put more pressure on the council to find a solution.

It's too bad because, in my opinion, Adam is one of the very few good-looking men on this soap (maybe it's the accent?). But with that hair, he looks positively goofy!

Can't see much difference between them myself. Stephen looks old as much as Elaine does.
