Neighbours spoilers follow.
Neighbours has confirmed the full details of Hendrix Greyson's tragic exit storyline.
Last week, Hendrix was named as the mystery character who will lose his life ahead of the show's final episodes.
New spoilers have now revealed the details of how and when Hendrix passes away.
Viewers recently saw Hendrix learn that he needed a lung transplant after being diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis.
Hendrix and his loved ones were relieved when a match was found more quickly than anyone had been anticipating.
In scenes airing on Channel 5 on Monday, June 13, the hospital team confirm that Hendrix's transplant was seemingly successful.
However, Hendrix's health later takes a sudden turn for the worse when his body rejects the transplant.
With only hours left to live, Hendrix fights through the pain to cherish his final moments with his loved ones.
The following day, it's a sad time for all on Ramsay Street as the news of Hendrix's death sinks in.
Sadie Rodwell blames herself for what happened, aware that Hendrix's health issues were triggered by the fire that she and Aubrey Laing started at Erinsborough High.
Harlow Robinson tries to support Hendrix's grieving wife Mackenzie, while Kiri Durant comforts Chloe Brennan.
Meanwhile, Zara Selwyn surprises everyone by revealing that Hendrix was working on a secret project before his operation.
The project was a video for his family, who are all comforted and grateful to hear from him one last time.
Digital Spy understands that Hendrix's death storyline was already planned before the news came through that Neighbours would be ending this year.
Ben Turland, who played Hendrix, had decided to leave the show at the end of his contract.
Georgie Stone, who plays Mackenzie, told Digital Spy: "The final episode for Hendrix is really devastating. It was the most harrowing experience I've had on set.
"It was really hard to film and I'm sure it'll be devastating to watch. We don't shy away from it. In those moments where it's hard to watch, we go closer and we really delve into what it's like to lose someone so young and what it's like to experience grief at such a young age.
"That goes for Mackenzie and the whole Erinsborough community. I'd suggest having a support network around when you watch it ? don't watch it by yourself."
Neighbours airs these scenes on Monday, June 13 at 1.45pm and 6pm on Channel 5 (UK) and Thursday, June 30 on 10 Peach (Australia).
