I do not understand why Wendy is so worried about testifying in court. She is only being called as a character witness, all she needs to say is, that although she worked with Meena, she did not know her well in her personal life. After all we are talking about a woman, who was married to a violent criminal, who worked for years as a nurse even though she she did did not complete her registration. So if she managed to cope in these circumstances, she should be able to cope with going to court. Drama where there really is none.

Her evidence should be that she was OK when she actually turned up for work. Otherwise she had to cover for her.

Possibly but why would he want her to escape when he wouldn't be able to see her any more ?

Charles does speak a load of crap. Meena is going to be on trial for the murder of the woman he loved and he has been trying to persuade the key witnerss not to give evidence

Advice for Manpreet. You will only be letting people down if you don't get in that witness box.
