Her cameo was quite good today. Makes sense that Sheila wouldn't know her, and makes sense she'd go to the pub. I'm sure some viewers won't know who she is but doing it this way is better than a random character just saying 'oh, aren't you Sky?! I've seen your photo *somewhere obscure but still somehow memorable*' like they could have done (and maybe like you'd expect them to do!)

Actor Stephanie McIntosh was overjoyed to star opposite her real-life niece Jemma Donovan in Neighbours recently.

The pair play Sky Mangel and Harlow Robinson on the Australian soap, and during an episode that's yet to air in the UK, they come across each other for the first time ever on screen.

Sharing the moment in an Instagram post yesterday (April 16), Stephanie described it as being a "good day at the office", while also admitting that she felt the need for extra focus in front of her young relative.

She captioned the video showing them on screen together: "When you're in a scene with your real life beautiful niece @jemma_donovan but got to keep it together between takes because you're a serious detective on the case and she's in the middle of your crime scene!

"Wish we had more scenes together Jems, but this was one for the books!! Trying not to giggle with each other and remain serious while learning to hold a real gun, was a good day at the office."

She added: "Directed by the very talented and awesome @katekendall9 #tbt."

The scene their characters face each other in concerns Harlow's buddy Mackenzie, who's been secretly living alone and ends up with bad guy Mannix as her housemate.

Police storm the place while Harlow is visiting.

Neighbours airs on Channel 5 in the UK.

Neighbours is officially bringing back Sky Mangel.

Today, the soap's Instagram confirmed that Stephanie McIntosh will be returning to the role "in the coming weeks". Sky's visit follows her grandfather Harold Bishop's move back to Erinsborough.

"Sky Mangel returns to Ramsay Street!" read the post.

"Hot on the heels of Harold... Sky will be dropping by to visit her dear old grandad. But what else has brought her back to Erinsborough? Stephanie McIntosh will be reprising her much loved role in the coming weeks."

Sky was last seen on Ramsay Street in 2020, marrying Lana Crawford and then investigating Finn Kelly's death.

In the Australian edit of the 2022 finale, she also appeared in the video montage of past characters congratulating Toadie and Melanie on their wedding.

Harold makes his way back to Erinsborough on a permanent basis next week, living at the Eirini Rising retirement complex.

"I'm back for one day a week and gee-whizz, it's a luxury to have that one day a week. How many older actors get that luxury? It's wonderful to keep busy," actor Ian Smith told Digital Spy in an exclusive interview.

Harold and Sky aren't the only characters returning.

Hilary Robinson, played by Anne Scott-Pendlebury, will also be on screens in upcoming episodes. Like Harold, she moves into the Eirini Rising retirement complex.

Hilary's return causes some drama between Terese and Paul.

Neighbours releases new episodes from Mondays to Thursdays for free on Amazon Freevee in the UK and US. In Australia, the show airs from Mondays to Thursdays at 4pm on Channel 10, with a 6.30pm repeat screening on 10 Peach.
